"Dark Lord it is my utter shame to report to you that Dromund Kaas has fallen and the republic has publicly executed Darth Vowran, you are the only Dark Lord left what are your orders." Dread filled me for the first time since I became sith no, since the moment I talked to Sprindrell back when I was an acolyte. Not even the Dread Masters could cause this yet the thing I've been planning for 15 years does. Why?

Why? Why couldn't the republic have fallen so that the empire could fall into civil war and a utopia rise in their ashes? Why did I allow this now the galaxy will be destroyed by stagnation and corruption? Why-

"Dark Lord, are you feeling well?" My head darted back up to see the holo of the skeletal Grand Moff. " You haven't responded in some time." I finally noticed the clear fear in Pyron's voice and the signs of questioning. It took but a moment later for the tsunami of fear from my bridge staff to register in my mind.

And why wouldn't they be afraid? The Scythe Of The Empire, the fearless Darth Nox who faced down every threat this empire has had without once flinching suddenly froze. How pathetic, these people, my people need a leader. No they need an emperor, an Emperor Of The Sith.

"Grand Moff Pyron please announce to the people of the Sith Empire that I hereby am the Emperor Of The Sith. And for all forces to evacuate to the coordinates I will be sending momentarily. You and Your forces are to evacuate as many civilians and soldiers as possible and focus on those who will be helpful with reconstruction." My decree's effect was seen instantly as Pyron lit up with confidence, the bridge staff felt hope and emboldened. I have my subjects now I need to conquer.

Sending the coordinates to a planet the Reclamation Service discovered after I tasked them to make me immortal, A quest that only partially succeeded. Have I made the right choice? The question I now have to ask is what am I emperor of? Can I pull off the same as Viatite and rebuild the empire to glory? For the first time a euphoric sensation pulsed through me. Fear was still present but was being quickly replaced by pure excitement as for the first time the future was mine truly to grasp.

But a moment later the Doombringer, Harrower Silencer Class dreadnought, flashed into hyperspace. I may be emperor of nothing and I may not know what the future entails but I will be what my people need me to be.

After waiting a few hours and coordinating with my forces. We reached our destination, a garden world warped in the force, as if the force itself decided to experiment and forgot about its creation. A beacon without light but leaving no darkness.

This was a world I found when searching for immortality after I discovered the device on Rishi of all places.

"Scan the world for life forms and level of technology." My orders were swift, but the response was faster. Smiling to myself I began scheming up the eventual victory I would need. Losing myself in my scheming I failed to realise that an officer was waiting to report.

"Dark Lord, may I report?" Nodding to him but making a mental note about the title. "Population: 50 million on the eastern continents, 12 million on the western, 23 million on the southern continent and 4 million on the northern continent. The Eastern continent seems to be the most advanced with short ranged radios however they seem to rely on birds for long distance. The western continent however has weird signals that match only droids; however we couldn't pick up any factories capable of producing them."

Dismissing the officer with a wave. Interestingly I sense the most of this lifeless force in the eastern continent but the western has the most profound, refined. Whereas the north and south have next to nothing. Taking the eastern continent first will be most important. Taking the other continents then having to deal with a potentially highly force sensitive society with a decent population would cause unacceptable casualties.

It seems I might have to play the slow political game there. Is there a way for a quick conquest… no even if I use the fleet I lose desperately needed population. Playing it slow will achieve the most and make them more loyal plus I can resort to the fleet if I need to.

Turning to the bridge commander, who snapped to attention the moment I did. "Order all sith and ground officers, plus logistics officers to report to the bridge." The commander nodded before going to complete my order. I would continue looking to the entrance of the bridge.

Not having to wait long for all who I ordered for assembled made the bridge a bit overcrowded. Note to self don't call this many people to the bridge. "We will be landing on the eastern continent and setting up a new city which will become the capital of the Sith Dominion."

I looked at all of my sith followers, firstly at my eradicators on the far left. My most loyal sith, 20 powerful sith who could've sat on the dark council but chose to worship me instead. Xalek, the head of the eradicators and the most fanatical stood closest to the middle.

The centre contained my wife, Ashara Zavros, being in the very middle. To her immediate right was the monster Khem, a close friend, and to Ashara's left was Lana Benikio, a talented advisor who held no ambition. Perfect for a right hand.

The rest were members of my powerbase I gathered over the years. Checking that everyone was paying attention I continued. " I want us to set up a military base that can be turned into a central compound for an expanding city to be built around. I want us to maintain as invisible but substantial presence as possible. You all are to discuss and come up with plans and a landing location, I want no war plans not yet at least." Dismissing them I decided to go to my mediation chamber to see if I could see anything.

The world below was something else in the force. It was as if something absorbed the force itself before unleashing it as its own variation. Not unifying or living force but both. The force in its purest form but also limited. Yes very limited it is as if the force chooses when those who are powerful are born and the weak are. A scream of agony and pleas for help ran through the force. Interestingly the force itself wants to be free of this planet but not its people.

That means this planet's inhabitants use the force but differently. It was wise to not launch a frontal assault if the power I can feel radiating from the planet is anything to tell then this place might be stronger than Korriban, Tython, Zakuul and Odessan combined in terms of raw force power.

I will have to play politics. The frill I haven't felt since I joined the dark council sprinted through my spine. Yes this will be fun indeed.

A couple of weeks later…

"Grand Moff, how many were you able to save?" I asked expecting little since Pyron only had 10 harrowers and 5 gage class transports.

"My Emperor, I regret to inform you the Jedi scum were… efficient in wiping out any traces of our glorious empire." His rage was evident on his face as was everyone else's on the bridge which this time only had to host the 100 sith guests. "We currently have only 600,000 soldiers and 1.5 million civilians, with an additional 20 sith."

Not as bad as I was expecting but still far below optimal. "Understood Grand Moff Pyron. Reconvene with me on my flagship and I'll catch you up on our plan to invade and conquer this garden world." Pyron saluted before cutting off the holo.

Turning back to the datapad report I was reading of the newly reformed imperial Intelligence. Sent down by the council I ordered to plan out our landing. They had just finished scouting out our landing zone. A land that was seemingly called the Land of Whirlpool, a destroyed nation that was targeted by 3 of their so-called great nations. It was an Island nation and thus gave us a good natural barrier whilst we set up our defences. But most importantly was close enough to engage with diplomacy. They have done well. I will have to give them a reward for this.

But first I must give them their new orders. Typing on the datapad 'Return to the Skeptic and complete translating the language. Then have r&d translation cybernetics which can be updated. These cybernetics must be suitable for all under the empire's banner.' The Skeptic was a newly renamed harrower that would serve as Imperial Intelligence's mobile headquarters.

Barely a few minutes later I got the acknowledgement as well as some extra notes which surprised me. Curiosity winning out, I opened the extra notes. "My Lord Emperor, believing these would be your next orders we prepared accordingly and have already gotten all of the reclamation service involved with the translation. They should be finished or at least close. We shall inform r&d once we are back aboard the Skeptic."

I knew it was foolish to disband Imperial Intelligence but this shows it was downright moronic to do so. These officers need promotion at least, they have done a very impressive job.

Sending my acknowledgement as well as my praise. I turned to see Grand Moff Pyron entering the bridge and receiving the utmost respect from Imperials and Sith alike.

"My Lord Emperor, it is an honour to be in your presence." Pyron exclaimed whilst going to a knee.

"Welcome Grand Moff let us head to the meeting room to discuss things further." Pyron got to his feet and nodded. As we started walking past the sith, I turned to one and gave him orders to have everyone else needed for this meeting assembled. "For we have much to discuss."

In mount Myoboku

"Ahh Jiraiya, glad you could come so quickly." A elderly giant orange toad wearing a professor's hat and a necklace with oil written on it said. Said to the kneeling white haired man wearing a short green shirt kimono with matching trousers and a red jacket.

"You don't normally summon me so figured it was important enough to pause my research." The white haired man said as if not entirely meaning it. The elderly toad chuckled but otherwise ignored him.

"I have had a vision unlike any others… one wrapped in mystery. I've been having the same vision for days. One where a man containing the greatest of all evil marches his legions over the forces of the light. A jailor that brings prosperity through control and advancement through conflict."

Jiraiya looked pensive wondering if this tied in with the child of prophecy he had to train. Before he could ask however the elder toad explained that the child would still bring peace amongst the shinobi nations, but will either choose to bow or will be forced to. Finishing his brief explanation by saying the phrase he heard most within the vision.

"For peace is a lie."
