A/N: Do I go write a cheesy love story... we'll just have to go see...
"So what should we do to help them?"
"What do you mean?"
Win glanced up towards Michinaga as the young man was staring daggers at Neon. The four of them were meeting up at a random cafe, after Neon suddenly gave them all a call to meet up with each other. And the young girl wasted no time presenting her agenda once everyone was gathered.
Daichi hitched his glasses up. "I suppose what our internet idol was trying to say was, she want us to help Keiwa regain his memories of us... especially of Ace, and most likely his whole DGP memories as well." The youth shrugged. "In which case, you probably can rule me out already... since compared to you guys, I'm not that close to that guy."
"I'm not that close to him either—And why should I help those two patch up with each other anyway?" Michinaga turned towards Neon, "Na-Go! Aren't you and Geats had been close with Tycoon from the very beginning? Why'd you need our help for this when the two of you could just deal with this by yourselves—?"
Neon just let out a loud sigh. "As if it was that simple. The problem was—!
"—the main problem was Ace himself, right?" said Win as Neon nodded at him.
"Yeah... and besides that, don't you guys also want Keiwa to regain his memories of everyone? Not just for Ace's sake, but haven't all of us grown close to Keiwa already?"
Neon gave Daichi and Michinaga a stern glare. "Don't tell me, that since the DesiGra was no longer around we'll all just part ways and never see each other again?"
"Still, how are we supposed to do that?" Michinaga asked her back. "It's not like we could get back Tycoon's core ID, or any of our own core IDs to get him to remember. What else can we do?"
Neon sighed. "It's not like our chances had been zero. I mean last time... during that Labyrinth game, Keiwa did remember his original aspiration for world peace after a while... even before Ace told him to touch his core ID—"

He couldn't stop thinking about it.
He couldn't stop thinking about that certain beautiful young man. Was there something wrong with him?
Before... he didn't think that he had any preference for any particular gender—to the point that even Sara could make jokes about how unlikely he was to find a significant other or end up spending a night somewhere with someone—but for some reason, Keiwa found himself to be physically attracted to Ukiyo Ace.
He couldn't quite explain it. It's not just because Ace was very beautiful. Every touch that he received from Ace had been electric; from the kisses he received from the younger man... the feel of Ace's arms around his body, to how the close proximity between their bodies made him feel 'things' inside.
Was that supposed to be normal? The two of them had only just met—unless that was not quite true—but because he no longer had any memories of the past few months, the two of them were practically strangers now. If this had been any other case, he wouldn't have cared much about it but—!
Keiwa placed a hand over his chest, or specifically his heart. It hurts here... in his heart, every time he thought about Ukiyo Ace. But try as he might, he couldn't get himself to remember anything about that person. Which doesn't make sense, because how could he ever forget meeting such a beautiful person if just seeing Ukiyo Ace once the other day caused him to be unable to stop thinking about the man?
And he really wished that he could remember Ukiyo Ace again; because he wanted to see Ukiyo Ace smile again. Because he didn't like it... seeing that person cry.
The fact that Keiwa could still think like this for a person who should be a complete stranger to him must mean that... Ukiyo Ace was someone very important to him...
.
"Hey..."
Keiwa jumped suddenly as a familiar(?) voice suddenly called out towards him and he turned around...
It was that grumpy guy and cat girl he met the other day. He still didn't understand how he ended up at that place from before... and his sister wouldn't even explain it to him—So why would these two come to this soba shop? To see him?
"—A-ah! May I help you—I mean, may I have your order?" Keiwa stuttered as the two 'customers' sat down on their seats.
Grumpy guy took a brief look at the menu and ordered beef soba. For some reason the choice of menu made him pause for a moment before turning towards the girl. The girl made a humming voice to herself before turning back towards him.
"I dunno... I mean, what would you suggest? Did you have any favourites?"
Keiwa blinked. "Me? Of course, I'd say Tanuki—" he just let the word hang as Keiwa's mind suddenly blanked out.
"Tanuki soba then," exclaimed the girl without skipping a beat, before ordering their drinks.
.
"O-oh, alright!" said Keiwa before going back to relay the orders to the owner. The owner swiftly prepared the orders before turning to address Keiwa.
"Who's that, Keiwa-kun? Your friends? One of them looks familiar—"
"I'm not sure—" Keiwa started to say before gasping at the owner. "Wait, Owner-san! You've seen one of them before?"
The old man just shrugged. "Yes, the girl... I remembered seeing you and your sister eat together here with the girl, some time ago. There's another boy with her as well, a very handsome one. All of the other female customers used to fawn over that boy but that boy just kept his attention on you."
.
The owner placed the soba orders and beverages on a tray as Keiwa took them. The owner clapped a hand on Keiwa's shoulder before smiling. "Since they're your friends, Keiwa-kun, you should talk to them. Don't worry too much, there weren't many customers this afternoon anyway... and take this for yourself—"
The owner placed an extra Tanuki soba on his tray and Keiwa gasped in alarm.
"But Owner, I—!" he started to say as the old man just waved his hands at him, citing that he just started working after so long being ill. So he shouldn't push himself too much.
Keiwa felt driven to correct the old man but since they wouldn't listen to him anyway, he just took the tray back to the customers' table.
Another boy who used to keep eying him in the past—pondered Keiwa before putting the tray on the table. Keiwa mechanically served the soba towards the respective person before sitting down on his chair.
.
Another pretty boy who once ate here with him and Sara—could that be Ukiyo Ace-san? And then Keiwa stared at his Tanuki soba as another thought crossed his mind.
Wait, Tanuki ... Tycoon? Didn't the grumpy guy call him a Tanuki the other day? Was it because of this? Why?
Keiwa glanced up towards the pair sitting in front of him.
"Tanuki..." Keiwa said slowly. "Did 'Tycoon' that you mention before... have something to do with a Tanuki?" he asked the pair as they started to look at each other.
Keiwa bit his lips.
As he thought...
A/N2: I had Keiwa realising stuff early because he does seem quite perceptive to me in series. Also because even at the beginning he seemed to somehow recall bits of his DGP memories even before Tsumuri appeared - like stuff about the owner...
