Epilogue bby 19

Omega sat across form Hunter and took in the chances that had come over her 'little Hunter' in the years of absence. He was all grown up, forced to grow into adulthood wail she, his big sister was still her natural age of 12.

They had just escaped from Kamino in their ship the Havoc Marauder, Hunter had come back for her. Her brothers had come to save her even though they knew it was dangerous for them. They had left Crosshair behind, Omega was sad about that, sad that they had left their youngest brother behind.

Omega knew it was hard for Hunter, to leave one of their own behind. He always looked after his brothers, even when he had been a tiny baby himself.

They had all grown up without her. Hunter, Wrecker, Tech and Crosshair, her little brothers were back in her life, all but Crosshair.

Echo was there too, she remembered meeting him. It was so long ago as he had been young cadet; he probably didn't remember her at all. There was no recognition in his eyes, to be fair, he had changed too. Not just grown but been taken apart and put back together with his metal limbs and cybernetic implants.

Omega felt sad at had happened to him, sad that he lost his original squad and his brothers. But now he was part of the bad batchers, and that ment he was also her brother.

She had missed the years they could have had together; they probably didn't remember her from so short a time. But Omega did, she remembered all the late nights she had sat up with Hunter, Wrecker, Tech and 9904, who was now Crosshair.

There were so many times she had sat up late at nights with Hunter as the thunderstorms crashed outside the nursery. She had taken care of him as a small baby, so small he had fit into her arms as if he had belonged there.

Now he, they, were grown, big and strong, with battle scars and memories of war. They had lived more years in short life then she had in her 12 years.

Omega smiled at Hunter as he sat there in the Havoc Marauder flying through space to an unknown future.

It didn't stop her from wanting to take care of her 'little' brothers. Hunter may be big and strong but she remembered how cute and needy he had been. Hunter had been her sidekick, her right hand man; he had taking care of his brothers just as he was still taking care of them now.

She had missed how he would snuggle up against her in the late nights, he had fit next to her and now he was bigger than her, much bigger and stronger with the tattoo on his face. Maybe the Tattoo was meant to scare others, but it did not scare her at all; she saw the kindness of his eyes even if he tried to hide it.

Hunter raised a brow at her.

"Omega?" He asked, Hunter had a look on his face as if he knew she had been watching him the whole time but he couldn't figure out why.

Omega grinned at him before getting up and wrapping her arms around Hunters neck, barring her face into his shoulder.

"I missed you Hunter," She whispered softly into his ear.

Hunter stiffened, confused but Omega held onto him. After a moment he set the data pad down and wrapped his arms around her pulling Omega into her lap and held her.

Did he remember the many hugs she had given him in the past? She didn't know, but she hoped he remembered the feeling of her love.

Hunter didn't say anything; he was no doubt confused. But even in that confusion, he held her close. It made her hart swell with pride and happiness, her 'little Hunter' wasn't so little anymore, but he still the same brother she remembered.

"Don't worry Omega," Hunter said softly in her ear, "I got you."

Omega smiled despite tears welling up in her eyes, she had missed so much of his life, of their life, but she intended to make up for that.

As their big Sister, she would always look out for her 'little' brothers. She wasn't going to be left behind again. Not if she had anything to say about it.

"I got you…" Hunter whispered in her ear, his arms wrapped lovingly around her as only a brother could.

End.
