So here's chapter two. Had some trouble figuring out what to do, but I got something. And you guys might've noticed Kimiko and Raimundo in the thing that filters characters and wonder where they are. well, we're going to start in the Xiaolin Temple. now then, as I said in my previous story, Gong Yi Tanpai!

Meanwhile at the Xiaolin Temple, Kimiko and Raimundo were having a sparing session. At least, that's what it was supposed to be, but they had... other intentions.

"Geez, Rai, you shouldn't hold back just because we're dating, it's very rude," Kimiko said as she did a flip.

"Well, why not?" Raimundo said as he caught and dipped her. "Don't you like it when I'm a gentleman?"

"Well, I suppose it's okay," Kimiko said as she gave him a smooch.

"Ugh, the sight of this is making me throw my crackers," Omi said.

"I think you mean 'tossing your cookies', but I concur pardner," Clay said.

"Kimiko, Raimundo," Fung said as he entered the garden. "It's not that I discourage you from... flirting at the temple, but perhaps find more appropriate times."

"Sorry, Master Fung," the couple said together.

"It's just between chores and wu, we don't get a lot of time to be a couple," Rai said.

"Yeah, ever since Carnival, we haven't been able to get three hours of alone time, let alone get to date," Kimiko said.

"Hmm, that is a fair point. Perhaps a night away would be good. I happen to have a friend in Paris who owns a nice resturant. I can make reservations for tomorrow night at say, 5:00?"

"Sounds good to me. What do you say, Rai-rai?"

"Somehow I don't mind that nickname coming from you, Kim-Kim." Everyone looked at him. "I'll work on it."

"Alright, I'll call and get that reservation."

"Can we come too?" Omi asked innocently.

"No, we can't, little buddy. It's something for Kimiko and Raimundo to enjoy alone."

"Aw..."

"Well, I better pick out a great outfit."

"Great. I should probably find something to wear too."

-The next day, 4:01-

Jack was standing in front of a house on a cliff that Katnappe owned. He wore a black suit with a silver bowtie that had the same symbol as his helibot. He also wore nice dress shoes and he took 10 bubble bathes and even tried to shower, even managing to last two minutes. However, he had forgotten to gas up his jet, and that's what made him late by one minute. He took a deep breath and rang the doorbell.

"Coming!" Jack stood there for a few seconds before the door opened and he was stunned. Having forgone the usual whisker marks, she wore a stunning strapless black dress that accentuated her figure. She also wore matching heels and had a purse with kittens on it. "You're late."

"I'm sorry, but I forgot to gas up the jet and then my mom kept telling me stuff and-"

"I'm teasing. Geez, you were only late by like a minute."

"Sorry. Never been on a date before. Really nervous. I managed to get reservations to this fancy restruant in Paris."

"Wow, impressive. Maybe this will be fun after all."

So they got in his jet, but Katnappe noticed there was only one seat.

"Did you plan this or did you forget your jet only holds one?"

"Uh, I planned it, obviously," Jack said, trying to save face, but after he said it, realized he might not have.

"It's fine. Make some room." So Jack moved his seat back enough so she could get in. "Also, just for tonight, you can call me Ashley."

"Okay. Uh, it's a little tough flying, and I can't ask you to do it. It'd be extremely rude. Can you push the, uh, the mic button?" She just shrugged and pushed the button. "Auto-pilot, take us to Dupain-Cheng restruant in Paris, France."

"Auto-pilot engaged, you stupid boy," the A.I. said in a voice that sounded like Wuya.

"Sometimes it's nice to hear her voice, even if it is insulting. She's like a mean aunt, but you can't help but have a soft spot."

"I guess so."

So the jet turned on, and flew to their destination.

Meanwhile, at the Xiaolin temple, Raimundo was in the courtyard. He was wearing a nice tuxedo with a green tie and of course his pendant. He had the Silver Manta Ray in his hand, as a ride on Dojo might mess up her looks. Also, he took Omi and Clay on a wu quest.

"Hey, ready to go?" Kimiko asked. Raimundo turned and felt his breath get caught. Kimiko was dressed in a strapless red sparkily dress with high heeled shoes. She had her hair in a beautiful french braid. He was brought out by her snapping her fingers. "Hey, you there Rai?"

"Sorry. You look great, Kim. Seriously, I'm a very lucky guy."

Kimiko blushed at the compliment, and gave him a kiss on the cheek as thanks.

"Well, let's go, casanova," Kimiko said.

"You got it, babe. Silver Manta Ray!"

So the two of them got in the Shen Gong Wu before flying off, unaware of what awaited them.

About 30 minutes later, Raimundo and Kimiko arrived in Paris, Raimundo stopping at the Eiffel Tower.

"Why are we stopping here?"

"I figured we could take a walk the rest of the way. Besides we're not too far from the restruant. We don't really stop in Europe a lot."

"Now that you mention, you're right. There have been Wu here, but not a lot."

So Raimundo and Kimiko took in the lights, but it was still bright out, so there weren't that many to see. Luckily Kimiko packed a pair of tennis shoes in case of a Wu emergency. As they walked Raimundo stopped in his tracks. Kimiko turned around to see him looking around.

"What's wrong?"

"A kid's crying close-by. I know we have a reservation, but-"

"Say no more. Kindness is your virtue after all."

So they went to find the kid in question, and found a girl with blue hair in pigtails witha a red skirt with black polka dots and a pink shirt with a ladybug on it.

"Qu'est-ce qui ne va pas, petite fille?" Raimundo asked as he got down to eye level surprising Kimiko.

"Since when can you speak French?" Kimiko asked.

"I learned a few basic phrases before coming to the temple. I can't speak it for long periods because of the thick accent, but it's got a lot of the same root words that's present in Portuguese."

"Um, excuse me," the little girl said. "I can speak a little English if it helps."

"It does, actually," Kimiko said, getting on her knees. "So what's your name?"

"Marinette Dupain-Cheng," the now named Marinette said. "My mama is Chinese and my papa is French."

"That's a nice name," Raimundo said. "So what's wrong?"

"I got seperated from my mama and papa. I don't know where they are, and I'm scared."

"Do your mama or papa have a cell phone?" Kimiko asked. Marinette nodded. "Do you remember either of their numbers?"

Marinette nodded and so Kimiko called Marinette's dad, but couldn't understand what was being said, so Raimundo took the phone and started speaking French. Once he got everything settled, he hung up.

"Your parents will be here in a few minutes. In the meantime, let's turn that frown upside down." Raimundo saw a man on a unicycle and walked over. "Hey, could I borrow your unicycle for a few minutes?" The man nodded, and Raimundo picked up some rocks. He got up on the unicycle and started juggling the rocks while balancing on the unicycle. "Sometimes all those clown lessons comes in handy."

After about ten minutes, a slightly overweight french man and a short chinese woman came into view.

"Marinette!" the mother shouted, getting their attention.

"Mama, papa!"

"Marinette, we were so worried," the man said as the woman looked at the two teenagers.

"Thank you for helping my daughter."

"It's no problem ma'am. We need to get moving if we're gonna make our reservation, Kimiko."

"Right, let's go."

So after returning the unicycle, the two teenagers ran off to where they had reservations, coming up to a nice resturaunt. However, as they got there...

"What do you mean you gave our table away?" Raimundo asked. "We're only five minutes late."

"I'm sorry, monseiur, but I am another couple came in, and we didn't have any other tables available."

"Don't you have any tables left?"

"Hmm..." The man looked at his sheet, and smiled. "We do have one available."

"Great. We'll take it."

"Please follow me." So the man led the couple to a table, right at the entrance and exit to the kitchen. "I'm sorry, but it's the only one we have."

"We can make due, and hey, at least this way, we'll get our food quicker."

"That's a good way to look at it, but I wonder who got our table?"

"Can you believe it?" Jack Spicer said. "We got to enjoy ourselves half an hour early just because some losers were late."

"Yeah, lucky us," Ashley said.

"I guess the black cat crossed my path backwards." Jack looked at her expression. "You know because they say a black cat crossing your path is bad luck, so doing it in reverse would bring good luck."

"I don't think it works like that."

"Sorry. Anyway, let's order." He noticed his date squinting at the menu. "Never learned French."

"Shut up."

"Hey, let me worry about ordering. I'm no expert but I know some French. I think I see something you'd like."

So Jack ordered their food and they didn't have to wait too long. Ashley saw some fish on her plate in some sauce and spices.

"I figured you'd like that, Ashley."

"Just because of my whole cat thing?" Jack looked nervous at that. "It's fine. At least you're trying. Just don't try too hard."

Meanwhile Raimundo and Kimiko were having a time. Because of where they were seated, the door to the kitchen kept hitting them.

"Sorry about where we're seated, Kimiko."

"It's okay, Rai-rai. At least we got a place to sit."

"Yeah. I'm glad we finally got a night to ourselves."

"So am I."

As they leaned in to kiss, a gunshot went off.

"Alright, everyone on your knees!" a masked thug said.

The patrons got on their knees as Raimundo got ready to fight, Kimiko held his arm. She gestured to the two people behind the thug, noting their guns. As various people gave their valuables, Raimundo took a lone coin out, and turned to Kimiko. She nodded in understanding. Raimundo flicked the coin at the leader. This made him flinch.

"Who did that?" the man said as Raimundo and Kimiko charged at the three men, knocking them out with a series of chops and kicks.

"Guys like you make me sick," Raimundo said.

"Thank you so much for thwarting them," the maiter'd said, but he seemed sad. "However, I must ask you to leave."

"What?" Kimiko asked, outraged. "Why should we leave?"

"Look at them, Kimiko," Raimundo said. She did and noticed a few were shaken. "As they say, no good deed goes unpunished. Don't worry, babe. We're in Paris. We can find something else to do."

"Yeah, you're right, Raimundo."

So the two of them left, unaware of Jack and Ashley.

"Wonder what that was about," Jack asked with his mouth full.

"Whatever it is, it's over," Ashley said. "This was nice. Whatcha got planned next?"

"Oh, a carriage ride through the park." However as he said this, his phone went off. He was about to hit ignore when he saw it was Chase Young. "Hey, Chase, long time no hear."

"It's only been a week and that was more on you. Anyway, Wuya has detected a Shen Gong Wu in Paris."

"Paris? I'm there now. Wait." He looked toward Ashley. "Can't someone else do it?"

"Unfortunately no. I have no interest in Shen Gong Wu. Just go get it. I apologize for doing this during a date, but it's a special wu that your date may be able to make use of."

Meanwhile, Raimundo and Kimiko had recieved a similar call from Dojo.

"It's called the Black Cat Glasses. Anyone the user looks at is stricken with bad luck if they make eye contact."

"We're on it, Dojo," Raimundo said. "Let's go."

"Right."

"Don't worry, we got this Chase," Jack said. "Waiter, check please!"

so seems like Jack's date is going fairly well while Kimiko and Raimundo are having issues. first Kimiko and Raimundo are delayed for a little girl, then their table gets taken by Jack and Katnappe, then a group of thugs comes to rob the place. then they get kicked out, and now there's a Wu. how will the next one go? find out next time, and I'll try to post it sooner.
