Chapter 32: Suijin
Previously
Inuyasha trapped in Yuras hair strands knows he is defeated but he unshaken.
"You've been a naughty boy Inuyasha. You set those shinobi free. But you never thought this through. You underestimate the capabilities of the police here in Rota. There are police in every village. Even some wander around. If they find those shinobi. Chances are good they are all going to die. For they were instructed by the king himself to be ruthless and violent with all criminals. Additionally, you wanted to pick a fight with the one man that could pause your life by putting you in an endless nightmare. You won't be seeing your precious wife until I set you free or die but let's be realistic here, no man is ever going to kill me." Enmu said.
"Funny how you say all of this like it's this big punishment. When the king gets back he will obviously order you to set me free. After all, a man completely devoted to his family will do anything for his family." Inuyasha replied.
"He is going to die. There is no chance in hell that he will survive against the corps even in their weakened state. Im one of the strongest demons in current existence and even I would have immense difficulty killing one Hashira." Enmu responded.
"We will see about that." Inuyasha replied.
Enmu puts Inuyasha to sleep.
"Yura. Keep him in an extremely secure prison cell." Enmu ordered.
Yura carries the unconscious Inuyasha away. Soon after, Mew and Mai are returned.
"Where is Tsubaki?" Enmu asked.
"Shit. We left her behind." Milunka said.
"Milunka, Kagura. Go back and bring Tsubaki." Enmu ordered.
Milunka and Kagura do as instructed and bring Tsubaki back, still paralyzed by Jiraiya's seals. Enmu undones the seal and releases Tsubaki from her captivity.
"Jiraiya the legendary Sannin is going to help the prisoners escape Rota! We need someone to stop them!" Tsubaki panicked.
"I will alert the border forces. Escape is impossible.
Elsewhere many hours later.
As our heroes are running through the muddy lands of the Northern sector of the Rota empire. They eventually reached a large wall that stretched from one end of the border to the other.
"This is the border. Do we have a game plan?" Shannon asked.
"We could always have Choji smash the wall down and allow our passage. We just have to get past the wall and we are free." Shikamaru answered.
"Excellent idea Shikamaru. We will provide cover to allow Choji to successfully break down that wall." Asuma replied.
"I don't see any guards around. Meaning this should go smoothly." Shino added.
Suddenly. A demon appears on top of the border wall.
"I have been alerted of your escape. Surrender now and I will spare your pathetic lives. Resistance is futile since a demon like me will never lose to pathetic shinobi like you." The demon spoke.
"Everyone. Go to another part of the wall and escape. I will take the demon down." Shino said.
"What are you crazy?! Your bugs wont do anything to that demon!" Kiba replied.
"I have a nichirin sword. I will be fine." Shino responded.
"Just let him do his thing. With his distraction we can break down the wall." Shannon said.
Shino unsheathes his nichirin sword.
"Ha. A kid like you shouldn't be playing with knives." The demon replied sarcastically.
Shino dashes forwards at blazing speeds catching the demon by surprise. The demon dodges Shinos attack.
"What the hell? A kid like you shouldnt be able to move like that? Tell me, do you know any Hashira?" The demon asked.
"Yes. the Insect Hasira Shinobu Kocho." Shino answered.
"You must be her Tsugoku. It will be my pleasure to end another one of her Tsugokus lives." The demon replied viciously.
"Too late." Shino responded.
The demon begins to convulse. Purple blemishes begin spreading across his face as he begins to vomit up blood.
"What's going on? You never hit me!" The demon asks, frightened by his decaying health.
"I didn't need to. Shinobu possesses rare wisteria insects. These bugs have mated with my own and produced offspring that can administer lethal Wisteria poison to demons like you. One landed on your neck and then began poisoning you while you were too busy being arrogant. Oh and to clarify before you die, I was never her Tsugoku, in fact I have no idea what that is." Shino replied.
The demon then falls to the ground dead as his skin has become purple with his eyes still open in horror. Shino sheaths his sword.
"Shino. That was amazing!" Kiba praised.
"Not really. That demon was too weak to possibly be a border guard. I have a feeling there is more. Hinata, use your byakugan to scan the area." Shino replied.
"Ok." Hinata replied.
Hinata activates her byakugan.
"I see twenty five guards east of here. All seem to be unconscious." Hinata reported.
"That's all?" Shino asked.
"Yes." Hinata answered.
"With a lack of defenses we can just use our chakra to climb over the wall." Sakura suggested.
The others agree and begin to climb the wall using chakra directed to the bottom of their feet. But once they take a couple steps. They are paralyzed and seals appear on every brick. It was a trap.
"Dang I can't move." Naruto said.
"We all can't." Sasuke replied.
A boy in knights armor arrives and laughs.
"Oh my. These were the suckers upper rank one told me about. He knew you were not a threat. Hold on, which one of you killed that demon over there?" The boy asked.
"I did." Shino answered.
"Good job. Although you're lucky everyone else was intoxicated. I came to check on the damn fools. Now, men are coming. So you will wait here till they arrive." Draco said.
As hours go by. The sun rises as our heroes are trapped on the wall. As Draco reads a book Jiraiya arrives.
"Wait a minute. You're not a shinobi of Rota. What business do you have here?!" Draco asked.
" To release my friends from your captivity. Now let them go and I will leave you alone." Jiraiya answered.
"Fool. Oh yeah that reminds me. That bastard Enmu wanted me to tell you this. Mai and Mew have been captured. Both are still alive. I'm going to make a deal with you. Bug off and allow your comrades to be captured. Additionally allowing Mew and Mai to live on. But if you dare try and save your friends thus entering a fight with me, then Mai and Mew will die and I will slay the legendary toad sage. So tell me, what are you going to do?" Draco asked.
"I have more important priorities in them. Besides, Mai is an Aura-Sun so she won't be punished. And from what I know Mew and the king have a relationship. So i'm going to save those I care about." Jiraiya answered.
"Impressive. You deconstructed my lie. Enmu did contact me, but with a different instruction. Enmu figured you were going to get here before any Rota shinobi. So, I'm ordered by my "Superior" And yes I hate having to follow his orders like everyone else. I'm ordered to kill you." Draco replied.
"STOP!" Naruto yelled.
"Shut up. I already know what you're going to say. I don't care about what you have to say, you may technically be my superior upper rank three but I refuse to listen to someone not even a chunin. I also don't give a damn about your relationship with the king. If anything, you're holding him back."Draco replied.
"Holding him back from what?" Naruto asked.
"Greatness." Draco answered.
Draco draws his backsword. Jiraiya creates a shadow clone. The clone charges at Draco. Draco responds by executing well coordinated strikes with his sword but the clone dodges. Meanwhile
Jiraiya releases our heroes from their capture. Draco eventually succeeds in eliminating the clone.
"So there are…thirteen of you. fourteen against one just doesn't seem fair to me. So, I just came up with a brilliant idea. What if I just invited thirteen other members of my family to make it even? What do you think?" Draco asked.
"It's a horrible idea." Mew answered.
"Maybe you're right. But I'm still going to do it anyway. Prepare to meet your end you filthy vermin!" Draco replied.
Draco summons thirteen caskets.
"Rise!" Draco shouted.
The caskets open
Susamaru, Yahaba, Sesshomaru, Daki, Gyutaro, Mukago, Wakuraba, Rokuro, Doma, Kamanue, Muzan, and Lorelei are summoned.
"Hello everybody. I apologize for summoning you so suddenly. But good news, we get to kill these Konoha shinobi. You each will take one." Draco said.
"Screw taking one! I'm taking all of their heads as my trophies!" Susamaru cackled.
Susamaru throws a temari ball at Jiraiya at intense speeds. It is mere inches away from his face about to decapitate Jiraiya. But in an instant a wooden wall shields Jiraiya from the oncoming attack and nullifies its speed.
"Wood?! How the hell could wood stop my temari ball?! It should have smashed right through it!" Susamaru said annoyed by the turn of events.
"The infinity castle has seals on every wall that protects its user and or anyone that is behind the wall. Although it costs a lot of chakra to summon. Since I was transformed into a demon by the king since I kicked his annoying dog. I have infinite chakra meaning I can use the castle whenever I want." Sasuke explained.
"The infinity castle? That's Nakimes blood demon art. How the hell can you use it?" Muzan asked.
"Ask her yourself." Sasuke replied.
Nakime and Kyogai are summoned by Sasuke.
"Nakime. Are you working with this kid?" Muzan asked.
"Yes. For we have become friends with him." Nakime answered.
"How could you betray us and work with him?" Muzan asked.
"Allow me to explain." Kyogai answered.
Flashback
Sasuke burns in a pool of flames. Endless agony overwhelms Sasuke. Sasuke is somewhere, under a large seemingly infinite castle. Suddenly a wall is removed from the castle and falls close to Sasuke. Sasuke climbs atop this wall which he now uses as a raft. Then a staircase is summoned in front of Sasuke and the raft which leads to the castle. Sasuke climbs the large staircase. Once he reaches the top of the staircase Sasuke is teleported to a room. Kyogai and Nakime sit drinking tea.
"It seems you have been sent here by Chance. Why was that?" Nakime asked.
"I kicked his annoying dog. Why did you bring me here?" Sasuke asked.
"To see how it feels to be moral. I don't feel much." Nakime answered.
"I was the one who suggested you be sent up here. I want to challenge the last living Uchiha. So Uchiha, do you accept it?"Kyogai said.
"Yeah, I got nothing better to do." Sasuke replied.
"I have an idea. Since both of you are essentially immortal. How about this, the first one to be pinned for three seconds wins." Nakime proposed.
"I like it." Sasuke replied.
"Prepare to be defeated by the legendary musician Kyogai." Kyogai replied.
"Take it to the center of the castle. There you will have the room necessary to begin your match." Nakime responded still deadpan.
Kyogai and Sasuke relocate to the center of the castle. A large room that is surrounded by staircases that lead to doors and other hallways. A door is summoned near Kyogai and Sasuke who are staring each other down. Nakime enters through the door as the door then disappears behind Nakime.
"Before we begin. Take these pills. They will slow down your regeneration to allow yourself to be injured during the fight whilst preventing you from dying. This will not at all affect your chakra regeneration. That remains limitless." Nakime said.
Both Sasuke and Kyogai take the pills.
"Perfect. Now on the count of three you two will begin. First one to be pinned by the other for three seconds wins. You can do anything needed to win. Are you ready?" Nakime asked.
Sasuke and Kyogai nod in acceptance.
"Nice. 3, 2, 1, Begin." Nakime said.
Nakime then exits the room using a door she created.
Sasuke activates his three tomoe sharingan and then distances himself from Kyogai.
"What's wrong? Scared of me?" Kyogai asked tauntingly.
"No. But I dare you to attack me." Sasuke answered.
"He has the Sharingan at full power. I must not take him lightly. I must attack relentlessly in order to overwhelm him and get the opportunity to pin him." Kyogai thought to himself.
"I must keep my distance in order to scout out his jutsu and create a plan to defeat him. He has impressive physical strength, maybe he could be proficient in taijutsu and could be his main form of attack. But what are the drums for?" Sasuke thought to himself.
Kyogai strikes the drum embedded in his right shoulder causing the room to rotate to the right while Kyogai is unaffected by the rotation. Kyogai strikes the drum protruding from his stomach and a five claw-like scratch attack that appears out of thin air. Sasuke narrowly dodges the attack. Sasuke weaves hang signs and launches a great fireball at Kyogai. Kyogai strikes the drum on his back as the fireball makes contact with Kyogai.
"I got him? That was too easy." Sasuke thought to himself.
Kyogai appears behind Sasuke and punches him in the back, sending Sasuke through a door. Sasuke hears the sound of a drum being beat and instinctively dodges another claw attack. Another drum is beat and Kyogai appears before Sasuke. Sasuke and Kyogai then begin a duel of Taijutsu. Sasuke is quicker in delivering strikes while Kyogai has superior physical strength and takes a more defensive stance. Kyogai grabs Sasuke's arm and throws him through the wall on the left in the corridor causing Sasuke to fall to the ground on his back. Kyogai then jumps from the hole in the wall and attempts to strike Sasuke while he is on the ground. Sasuke dodges and prepares a chidori which Sasuke uses to pierce Kyogais stomach drum thus rendering it useless. Sasuke removes his hand from his stomach and kicks Kyogai into the air. Sasuke appears behind Kogai mid air and kicks him higher into the air then kicks him in the stomach and brings Kyogai to the ground with intense force. Sasuke pins Kyogai to the ground and restrains him.
"1. 2. 3. Sasuke wins" Nakime announces.
Kyogai grabs Sasuke and throws him off of him.
"Rematch! I challenge you to a rematch!" Kyogai challenged Sasuke.
"No thanks, you are too weak." Sasuke replied.
Kyogais center drum regenerates as Kyogai plays the rotation drums causing the room to rotate uncontrollably and rapidly as Sasuke crashes into walls into walls and doors. Once Kyogai is done with the room rotation he picks Sasuke up and chokeslams him and pins him for three seconds.
"You got lucky." Kyogai said.
"I take back what I said. You're strong." Sasuke replied.
"That's enough for both of you. So, you. What is your name?" Nakime asked.
"Sasuke Uchiha." Sasuke answered.
"Sasuke. How long have you been sentenced to this place?" Nakime asked.
"I don't know." Sasuke answered.
"Would you like to stay for some tea and some musical performances from us?" Nakime asked.
"Fine." Sasuke answered.
Sasuke stays in the castle. Enjoying the musical performances Nakime and Kyogai have created.
"You both are talented. Now, woman in black. Can you bring me back to the real world?" Sasuke asked.
"My name is Nakime, this is Kyogai. And sure, but do you want to hang out sometime?" Nakime asked.
"Alright I will." Sasuke answered.
Nakime plays her Biwa and Sasuke is teleported back to the real world.
End of flashback
"So afterwards we and Sasuke have been hanging out, building a friendship. And we will protect our friend." Kyogai explained.
"How lucky of you." Gyutaro replied filled with jealousy and scratching his face causing it to bleed..
"It doesn't matter. Let's just kill them and go home." Daki responded.
Shannon manifests a chakra guitar and with one strum of the cords creates a massive wave of energy that pushes the Aura-Suns back.
"Get up and over the wall!" Shannon ordered.
'How are you going to do that? Those seals have backup seals. One foot on that wall and you step right into our trap again." Sesshomaru replied.
"No way. You guys are pretty smart. But it's time for all of you to witness my band of awesomeness. And this song goes out to you sorry punks, embrace our sympathy for destruction!" Shannon replied enthusiastically.
Shannon summons Itachi, Kisame, Dosu, Zaku, and Kin who step out of their own coffins.
"Your pitiful attempts to escape are pointless. If you can't get over the wall, you will never be free." Sesshomaru responded.
"That's what you think. 3! 2! 1 Go!" Shannon shouted.
Itachi activates his mangekyou sharingan and is surrounded by his susanoo avatar. Zaku uses his extreme decapitating airwaves to push the enemy farther back. Itachi uses his susanoos totsuka blade to demolish the wall. Dosu, Kin, and Kisame distract the Aura-Suns with their attack.
Our heroes quickly enter through the opening and cross the border.
"NO!" Draco said in disbelief.
"Hey cheer up, we could always… Murder them." Lorelei suggested.
"You're right. Everyone! Screw the rules, kill them!" Draco ordered.
Daki uses obi sashes to create a large cage around our heroes. But before any other attacks can be unleashed Nakime plays her Biwa and four walls appear with a roof forming a protective cube that is promptly teleported to the infinity castle.
"Damn. I'm going to break her Biwa so she can't use her blood demon art." Rokuro said.
"She still loses. Even if they are safe from our attempts to eliminate them. The infinity castle is underneath Rota and thus they are still in Rota and they are still fugitives." Sesshomaru replied.
"Aww, I really wanted to kill them." Susamaru pouted.
"At least we can go home now." Yahaba replied.
"If the infinity castle is underneath Rota. We can have Kamanue skeletons dig their way to the castle." Rokuro proposed.
"No. The infinity castle is in another dimension. But say if the castle were removed from that dimension it would spawn here in Rota. So Rota may be in another dimension but it is still technically within Rotas borders thus the fugitives failed to escape Rota and when the king gets back, we will force him to take action." Sesshomaru explained.
"What do you mean by forcing him to take action?" Lorelei asked.
"Execution by gunfire." Sesshomaru answered.
Elsewhere three weeks later
Chance and Kanae on their journey to the demon slayer village take a rest near a lake.
"I have been hesitating to ask this. But why are you so quiet? You're usually one to enjoy having company to talk to." Kanae asked.
"I don't deserve to talk to you. I killed you, mentally scared Kanao who by god's great work is healing. Shinobu on the other hand, Broken beyond words. I also stopped your quest to stop Rob who apparently has killed a large number of humans. I then failed to heed your warning about my hatred and thus hundreds of thousands fell at the hands of me and my men. And the only reason I got caught was somehow Shinobu got to the holy land and got me caught." Chance explained.
"I forgive you for killing me. I wanted you to kill me. To hopefully make you see the error of your ways. But it backfired. But it's still not too late to repent and seek forgiveness." Kanae replied.
"That would be a good idea, but I'm too far gone. Tell me, can I get into heaven? I killed hundreds of thousands, allowed my family to commit unspeakable actions, ruined the lives of many more, and was a key contributor to destabilizing an entire region of the world. I think we both know the answer, no. I will rot in hell or gray purgatory unless I do something. That something, is making everyone a god, with powers to live whatever life they please, true freedom." Chance explained.
"Maybe you're right. But maybe you deserve your punishment, running away from it is cowardly. Especially if your plan of escape is completely unrealistic." Kanae responded with disappointment.
"I agree. It is unrealistic. But it's the one of the few things I can possibly do to prevent myself from suffering hell's wrath. I made a deal with the devil but I'm not burning in his hell. But if my plan fails, there's a couple backup plans. Always gotta have a backup plan." Chance responded.
"I guess there is no stopping you. But I beg of you to please spare the demon slayer village. If you still love and care about me, Shinobu and Kanao. Then you wouldn't destroy our home, and kill our friends." Kanae replied.
"I have no choice. It's for the best of everyone. They are too much of a threat. But since you don't want me to kill your friends, I have an idea. But I'm going to let it be a surprise." Chance responded with a smile.
They both hear someone who has risen to the surface of the lake. This man's body is coated in a layer of water armor that covers his entire body. This man also wears a mask.
"Wow, a water demon. Shocking to see one so close to the demon slayer village." Chance remarked.
"I recognize your clothing and dark hair. Reveal yourself Rob." Kanae demanded.
The demon obliges and takes off the mask revealing Rob.
"Rob. You're supposed to be dead. How did you survive?" Kanae asked.
I dunno. I was just given this body and an order to kill you Kanae." Rob answered, tilting his head a bit.
"Unfortunately for you, I'm already dead." Kanae replied.
"I know, I saw that little brat beside you kill you in front of Shinobu and Kanao. And kid, you don't deserve the oxygen you breathe. I hate you with all my being. I'm going to assassinate a king because you're not chosen by god, you're the enemy of the very god you claim to worship." Rob claimed.
"Well I don't feel like dealing with this shit. Kanae, you deal with him. I will continue our journey to the demon slayer village." Chance said.
"Coward." Rob growled.
"Hey call me whatever you want, but me personally, I wouldn't get defeated by Shinobu." Chance remarked.
"Oh yeah? I would never run from a fight. Bitch boy." Rob replied.
"What's wrong with you Rob? You never acted like this before, what has gotten into you?" Kanae asked.
"I hate him! I've seen the carnage this bastard child had brought on by those he had and still has bigoted views against those he doesn't like. He has become a genocidal monster who must be stopped!" Rob replied with fury.
"Jeez Kanae, you never told me your boyfriend had anger issues." Chance remarked with a grin.
"Rob, calm down. It's alright. There is no reason for you to be so wound up." Kanae said in a calming tone.
"There's no point in calming him down. Just kill him already." Chance ordered.
"Kanae, run for it. I was ordered to kill you by the person who saved my life. I still love you Kanae and it would break my heart if you got hurt or worse." Rob said.
"You seem to be resisting my orders. Damn demon slayer will. Oh well, I will just do it myself. Goddamn it Rob I don't feel like killing at the moment." Chance complained.
Chance grabs Kanaes katana and sheath and unsheathes the blade.
"Go ahead, give me your best shot." Rob replied, getting into a battle stance.
Chance teleports next to Rob and swings the katana. It slices through the water but the water regenerates over the blade and traps it covering it with water with an extremely sticky texture.
"Ha! It's stuck. You can't decapitate me." Rob said.
"Well shit. So, do you think you got me cornered?" Chance asked.
"Yeah! It's time to sweeten the ride motherfucker." Rob answered.
Rob weaves hand signs and a large two headed water dragon rises from the lake. It lowers its head so that Rob may stand atop it.
"You know what to do boys."Rob said.
The water dragons unleash massive vortexes of water at Chance. Chance teleports behind Rob. As Kanae dodges the vortexes with her blazing speed.
"Hey, for having such a large attack, you can't hit shit." Chance taunted.
Rob turns around and throws a punch that Chance dodges.
"Come on, hit me." Chance challenged.
Rob throws several punches all of which Chance ducks and weaves with relative ease.
"Alright, since this battle is going nowhere fast, how about we just call it a draw, and we leave each other alone, Upper rank 5. Sound good?" Chance offered.
"Shut up, you lazy bastard. All you do is run away from your problems! You spineless coward! You let your grunts do the work while you enjoy a life you are nowhere near deserving! You ruin lives and you don't have a single damn regret do you?" Rob asked enraged.
"I do have regrets, It keeps me up at night. Either that or random anxiety attacks. These regrets keep me going. I do everything I can to erase these mistakes I've made. I ruined my own life, but enough about me. You said you were ordered by someone to kill Kanae right? Who is this person?" Chance answered.
"Classified info dude. Now I will be right back. Here, take this sword and give it back to Kanae." Rob said removing Kanaes sword from his sticky water armor and giving it back to Chance who accepts the gift confused by this sudden change in behavior.
"He was just going off on me and now he's acting all calm. Strange man." Chance thought to himself.
The dragons return back to water bringing Rob down with him. Chance teleports to the ground and meets up with Kanae and gives her sword back.
"Thank you." Kanae thanked.
"You're welcome. Now, while he's inactive, let's beat it." Chance replied.
"Right." Kanae responded.
Chance and Kanae begin to run away but a barrier stops them and pushes them back.
"The hell? A barrier? How powerful was this guy when he was alive?" Chance asked.
"He was decently strong. But he had no knowledge of any sealing jutsu." Kanae answered.
`Chance attempts to teleport past the barrier but it fails.
"Damn it." Chance cursed.
They feel the ground shaking below them as geysers spawn in large numbers around the surrounding area and release high volumes of water rapidly.
"Whatever clever scheme you plan on executing wont work on me. For I can become a near immortal demon, just like you Rob. Oh and by the way, Kanae is immortal as well. She cannot be killed at all." Chance said.
Rob rises from the lake.
"What? A-are you kidding me? You're bluffing right? There is no way you can become a demon.: Rob replied in disbelief.
"Nope, I'm serious. Your plan won't work buddy. Since we are reaching a stalemate, just leave us alone." Chance responded.
Before Rob responds,a beautiful woman with a trident in her hand rises from the lake.
"What do you want?" Chance asked in an annoyed tone.
The woman points her trident to the sky and storm clouds spawn covering the sky followed by extreme rainfall.
"Ooo scary." Chance replied sarcastically.
The skies rumble and a lightning bolt is sent down from the heavens. Chance teleports and dodges the lighting bolt.
"Jesus christ. Weather control, impressive ability. I assume you're a demon. If only I could control demons instead of lying about it." Chance remarked.
Lightning bolts continuously begin raining down from above. Chance teleports and dodges all of the lightning bolts.
"Hey miss. Can you fucking stop with this pointless attacking? Its irritating. I just want to slaughter a village and go home." Chance complained.
"As if I'd let you kill even more innocent people. You killed me, you took me away from my son. You're an evil bastard. You let my friends burn in the holy buildings you set ablaze during your crusade!" The woman replied viciously.
"Sorry I guess. Kids am I right?" Chance joked.
"That's not funny! Your parents should be disgraced by your actions." The woman responded.
"I bet they would be upset, If they actually knew what I did. But hey, at least I made it a perfect tenth crusade am I right? Maybe your son just wasn't strong enough to survive, maybe your friends died from a lack of skill." Chance mocked the Woman.
"You're a psychopath. Feigning human emotions to blend into society. I'm going to seal you and your pawn to hell" The woman insulted Chance.
"Seal me? Good luck even touching me." Chance replied.
"Hold on Suijin. You can lay your hands on the kid but you are not going to lay a hand on Kanae." Rob said.
"I don't care what you want me to do. You're my subject, I saved your life. I will attack whoever I please." Suijin replied.
"Empty threats dont fucking scare me. You are as powerless as all those delusional towel heads I had burned alive in their places of worship, including your son." Chance responded.
"Before I seal you away for good, why did you do it?" Suijin asked.
"Power, and a sense of religious superiority." Chance answered as he took off a necklace that was hidden underneath his shirt, a golden chain with a golden crucifix attached.
"Isn't it against your code to kill?" Suijin asked.
"You're right. I know I'm bound for eternal damnation. Unless, I can attain godhood to reverse all of my mistakes. I can reunite you, your son, and your friends. You know miss, you gave me another reason to strive towards my goal, not just do it for myself, but do it for those I wronged. Thank you. But I can sense your emotions, you still want your revenge. So be it, come at me." Chance said, placing the necklace around his neck.
Suijin dives back into the water. Several vortexes of water crash onto Chance and Kanae from all directions. Chance stands up as water clones spawn from the still rising water.
"Kanae, distract the clones. I'm going for the kill." Chance ordered.
Kanae engages with the clones, while Chance jumps off one of the clones high into the air. He weaves hand signs and spews a stream of water from his mouth into the lake, in this stream of water are senbon made of lightning chakra. When the senbon make contact with the lake, the lightning chakra eltrocutes the water causing Suijin to rise from the water in a desperate attempt to escape. Chance teleports beside her and decapitates her. But to only reveal that it was a clone.
"What?" Chance said.
Chance turned around to see Suijin about to thrust her spear through a Kanae who is restrained by chains made of water.
"Shit." Chance thought to himself.
