Here it is, the 146th full chapter of Miraculous Quirks released on time as always. For the most part recovery is going well for the students and heroes as the aftermath begins to come into clearer view with the reports of what happened. However, there are still two members of Class 1-A who have yet to recover, one is dealing with his own thing but the other is about to come to. It is time for Marinette to learn what has happened both during the villa raid and in the wider society as a whole as she finally wakes up following her Quirk's awakening. That is all the administrative stuff that I have for you, however, and there are no guest reviews to respond to or questions to answer so I will end this note here. Do keep the reviews coming as I enjoy hearing from y'all. That is all I have for this pre chapter note so that means that it is time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the 146th full chapter of Miraculous Quirks.
Disclaimer: I do not own either of these great works of fiction.
Chapter 146: Waking Up to Bad News
Marinette felt like she was underwater, she was heavy, sluggish, and unable to move while in pitch blackness. Her mind was foggy and fractured as she tried to piece things together to figure out how she got here but it was slow going. The last thing she remembered clearly was Adrien getting hit by those black tendrils with red cracks in them during the battle around Gigantomachia in Jaku. After that things were a blur that culminated it an exhaustion on a level she'd never experienced before, at which point she blacked out until this moment.
It was all hazy but that alone told Marinette enough, she'd passed out from overuse of her Quirk. It had happened at least once before back during the team-up she had had with Selkie and Ryukyu and it had taken a little to recover from that. This was on a whole new level, though, because whatever she'd done she'd gone right up to what her body could take without dying. Even as her mind returned she couldn't move as she slowly began to come too.
As she did began to regain her senses. She could tell that she was in a bed under some sheets and had an IVs in both her arms, electrodes and other monitors on her chest, one of those nasial thing in her nostrils, and a catheter up, well at least she had a sheet over her on that front. She was also in a hospital gown and she felt that she was slightly raised so there was no doubt as to where she was. That meant that she was safe and that the battle was over, which was good though she had no idea how it ended as she was sure it was still going on when she passed out.
The moment she thought about the battle she remembered what happened to Adrien and instantly her panic returned and her heart rate increased causing a slight beeping sound to go off as she tried to open her eyes but her eyelids were too heavy. As she tried she heard a familiar voice, one she knew better than any in the world and she heard the love in it, which was all she needed to relax enough to stop the beeping.
"Marinette, calm down, it's ok." Adrien said reassuringly as she felt his hand squeeze hers and realized that he'd been holding it all along she was only just now starting to get sensation back in her limbs. "I'm here don't worry. I'm alright, I'm here because you saved me."
Marinette tried to speak but her throat was drier than the Sahara and all she got out was a pained croak as Adrien's words soothed her back to a normal heartrate. As she calmed down, she felt a straw at her lips and instinctively she sucked on it to find cold, clear, water as Adrien encouraged her to drink it. It was just what she needed and she drained the cup and then two more before she was satisfied. Only then did she regain enough strength to open her eyes and blink as she took in the room that she was in.
As expected she was in a hospital room which given the darkness in it and from what she could see through the window to the side indicated that it was nighttime. All the room had was a solo bed, a chair by it, and various monitoring equipment but pretty much like Adrien's room had been after the attack on the training camp as far as she could tell only this time she was the one in bed and Adrien was by her side removing the cup following her third drink. Only when it was away did he sit down again and take her hand and Marinette turned her head to look at her love.
Adrien looked exhausted. He was in his school uniform minus his blazer and tie and there were dark rings under his eyes as if he'd not slept for days. His blond hair was disheveled and unkempt but otherwise he looked fine which struck Marinette as odd as the last time she saw him he'd been stabbed 5 times by Shigaraki though his black costume hid most of the blood. However, he said she'd saved him so she had to ask him.
"A, Adrien." Marinette said her voice weak and still a little horse despite the water but as it was just them in the room it wasn't an issue. "W, what happened? How, how'd I save you."
Adrien didn't respond at first, he wanted to make sure that Marinette was ok before he did. He'd only left her side to use the restroom and force down some food to keep his energy levels up ever since the end of their meeting two days ago as he wanted to be here for when Marinette finally woke up. No one had stopped him, they understood the situation, and they were all waiting themselves either in the waiting room or their own hospital rooms for Todoroki and Bakugo who had yet to be discharged because Midoriya was also still out of it so they wanted to make sure all their classmates were ok.
Thankfully Marinette was now awake, Adrien had already had the water ready for her for when she did come to and got it the moment she needed it. He recalled his own overuse of his Quirk and the need for water so he had made sure that there was always cold water ready for when that happened. That had clearly helped and allowed Marinette to speak so now it was time to respond to her. She had to be reminded of what had happened, of how Adrien had almost died protecting Midoriya only for her to awaken her Quirk and save him because she needed to know.
"You don't remember?" Adrien asked his voice still soft and the weariness was clear in it and Marinette could tell that he'd not slept much recently which led to another question. "What happened near the end of the battle in Jaku that is."
"No, I don't, the final moments before I passed out are still foggy." Marinette said as she tried to make sense of the time between Adrien being hit by Shigaraki's tendril things and waking up here. "Also, how long have I been out?"
"Three days." Adrien said causing Marinette to blink in shock. "They didn't know how long it would be but you burnt through all your energy and then some which caused some internal damage so you had to be healed and then pumped with electrolytes and other nutrients to restore your body's natural energy levels while they monitored you. It will take a few more days for you to be able to really move more than a little bit and longer to fight but they're already drawing up a physio therapy routine to maximize your recovery time."
"Well that sucks but I can feel it, my energy is nowhere near what it once was." Marinette said as she tried to process all that Adrien had said to her. "What the hell did I do to cause this? I can't be out for too long, unless we won that is and I can take my time to recover."
"We didn't win though we scored some victoried so we're going to do everything we can to get you on your feet as fast as possible especially because we aren't sure how much time we have especially after what happened the night of the raids that solidified the fact that we didn't win." Adrien said. "As for what you did, you awakened your Quirk to save me."
"I did what?" Marinette asked confused but as she asked she recalled the term from a while back as she felt that Mage had mentioned it to them at least once since they started at U.A. "Wait, that's what happens when your Quirk evolves, right?"
"Pretty much." Adrien said with a nod. "It's caused by extreme stress that can only really be found in life or death situations, at least that's the most common way for it to occur from what Nezu and Mage had said, and this was no exception seeing as you held me as I died."
"Yes about that." Marinette said her eyes narrowing as she recalled the precise details of what had happened to Adrien even if her own role in saving his ass was still coming back to her. "I may not remember what I did to knock myself out but I do remember what you did. Why did you do that? I get the need to save Midoriya, he is this world's hope against All for One as he has the best power to counter that monster, but you didn't need to almost die. Couldn't you have used your baton or Cataclysm."
"I was drained from the two massive uses of Cataclysm earlier in the fight so I couldn't use the latter beyond flaring it into the tendril things at the point of contact." Adrien said tears in his eyes. "And I didn't think that I had the strength to wield my baton in time to deflect or break those tendrils. I just acted because I knew that Midoriya had to live even if it cost me my life and seeing as we're not of this era I felt that it was better for me to be the one to go than him. I, I'm sorry my love, it was selfish of me to do that, to leave you here alone."
"It was." Marinette said softly as tears filled her eyes and ran down her cheeks but she blinked them away. "You're all that I have left Adrien, well you and Tikki, and Plagg and I are all that you have from our true time period, from our old lives in Paris. We are of a different era, sent here by a madman who abused the powers of the Miraculouses. We cannot leave each other no matter what. I understand the danger that is now present in our lives, the fact that we may die doing hero work in this new era we are in is ever present but not like that, not when you could have done something else to save Midoriya. I accept that you did what you had to but, please, next time don't do that my love because who knows if I will be able to save you again."
"I will do all I can to prevent it but you know I can't make that promise just as you can't either." Adrien said the tears running down his cheeks and Marinette agreed on that much at least. "But thankfully it's not a big deal anymore now, so long as you are near with a charm active we will be fine though I will of course only do something like that as a last resort."
"It's not?" Marinette asked confused as she tried to process it before it hit her. "But…wait, take off your shirt."
Adrien didn't question that or hesitate as he let go of her hand and unbuttoned his shirt to reveal his firm, muscular chest. Marinette stared at it and noted that the only scar on it was the old one on the right side just below his shoulder from where Stain had thrown a knife into him back in Hosu, there were no other scars there. Adrien had been stabbed through the chest 5 times so he should have 5 more scars on his chest with corresponding ones on his back but he didn't and as Marinette realized that it all came back to her, how she saved Adrien and why she passed out, what she'd done and what had returned.
Even drained as she was she could feel the difference within her, the change to the core part of her that was her Quirk and which she was intimately familiar with. It was a hard feeling to describe but she knew her power well from back before it was made her Quirk but now that it was her Quirk she couldn't deny that she definitely felt it within her and understood how it worked. The change was there, her Quirk had indeed evolved and she intrinsically knew what it could now do.
"Understand?" Adrien asked as he buttoned up his shirt again and sat back down. "Do you remember it now?"
"I do." Marinette said softly as Adrien took her hand again. "The cure is back. I never thought I'd be able to use it again short of using my Miraculous and given that we live in a world of Quirks now it wouldn't be the same."
"It is." Adrien said with a smile. "We can't rely on it given the cost associated with it but it's a good thing to have on hand just in case, especially once you master it in its new form."
"That's an understatement." Marinette said. "I need to train with it to fully understand the limitations that it has and how much control over it I can exercise as in the past the cure was just automatic and controlled by magic not me. Now it's all me and I can already tell that the energy it burns to restore the damage caused by Quirks is going to be a lot, which also means that I'm going to have to double my caloric intake at the very least to make up for it and I already eat way too much as it is."
"But we need to so it's worth it." Adrien said. "And besides, it's not like we get fat from all we have to eat."
"True, we burn it whenever we use our Quirks but this will be a whole new level when I use the cure properly for the first time." Marinette said. "I was desperate when I used it to save you as my only desire was to save your life, that's how I ended up here but it was to save you so it was worth it. Now that I understand what has happened I should have a better handle of it. I don't think I'll burn more when I normally us my Quirk, that feels about the same, so I can save the cure for when needed but I need to make sure that I use it only when it is absolutely necessary. How long do I have to get a handle on this though?"
"No clue." Adrien admitted. "Things are, well they're different now in a way I've never seen before."
"That's not a surprise, I recall Dabi's little rant." Marinette said. "That was bad, the damage that could cause regardless of whether or not it has been confirmed is massive. The Number 1 Hero having a villain for a son, one he made via a Quirk Marriage and pushed so hard that he became, well whatever Dabi became, is a terrible look for a society that is dependent on heroes."
"It has been confirmed." Adrien said. "Dabi is Toya Todoroki, Endeavor's oldest son and child so it's not good. Dabi's revelations have done the most damage to society but the destruction in Jaku and death that came from it wasn't good either as it is seen as the heroes' fault that Shigaraki wasn't stopped in time. Momo's actions in sending Gigantomachia to the destruction saved more than we can calculate though and that has helped a bit but the damage Dabi is outweighing in and that's on top of how crime has picked up in the wake of All Might's retirement."
"Dabi's revelations weren't just about his father though; they also damaged the number 2 hero as well." Marinette said recalling the speech Dabi had made. "So that's not a surprise that that coupled with the post All Might situation has caused issues. Thankfully Momo used Kaalki and her power to save many lives, that was why we trusted her with it."
"We did and we've had an initial discussion while you were out seeing as Momo transformed in front of basically everyone who wasn't in Jaku or Tokoyami so at least part of our secret will have to be revealed but we haven't made a decision on where to go from there without you." Adrien said. "Those in the know that is so me, Momo, Hagakure, Mage, Fei and Nezu. All Might has been with either Midoriya or Hawks and Best Jeanist since the end of the mission and is too busy to be brought into this as he's dealing with his own things it seems."
"Thank you and we can talk about that as a group later, that should be the first thing we do when I'm out of here." Marinette said. "And we can discuss it in a moment just us but not yet as there are a few more things I need to be caught up on before then starting with what do you mean All Might's been with Midoriya? Is he ok? He was badly hurt and I know his arms are weak but it can't be that bad, can it?"
"With you awake he's the only one still out." Adrien said. "He's in a coma and hasn't woken up yet though otherwise he's well on the mend it seems. All Might appears to know what is going on but he's not telling anyone. All he's done is stay with Midoriya or chat with the top three pros."
"One for All was mentioned." Marinette said recalling what Burnin had asked over the coms when Shigaraki started his attack. "That secret's going to get out to a few more people just like ours will. I guess it's time to address that a bit sooner than I wanted to but after all that has happened I don't think we should keep it from everyone anymore, it's time we told the class the full truth of how we got here. We need to be united now so there is no room for secrets anymore."
"Agreed but we need a plan hence the discussion when we get back to campus." Adrien said. "This reveal has to be handled correctly and we need all those in the know, other than All Might it seems, to be on board with how it will go down so that they can aid if they wish."
"Of course though before then we'll have a deep discussion just us regardless." Marinette said to which Adrien nodded in agreement. "Alright so what else happened? Did we catch Shigaraki?"
"No, we didn't, if we did we wouldn't be in this situation." Adrien said with a sigh. "After I stopped him from killing Midoriya he fell back into Gigantomachia and was rescued by some of the remaining Nomus."
"That's not good." Marinette said. "Did anyone else get away? You said we had some victories so surely we got some of them."
"We did because while Shigaraki, Spinner, Dabi, and Toga are still on the loose, Mr. Compress and Gigantomachia were caught so the League suffered some loses." Adrien said. "In addition three high ranking members of the PLF, Re-Desto, Geten, and that politician they have who I can't remember the name of, were captured at the villa along with close to 17,000 others who were there along with many more across the nation though that number included several heroes. 132 weren't caught from the villa though including at least one of the other PLF lieutenants called Skeptic. Reports have him as being on Gigantomachia so likely got away same as Dabi via Mr. Compress's Quirk."
"I recall what that guy did." Marinette said with a shudder at the memory of Mr. Compress gouging out his own flesh to save his comrades. "Villains with that level of conviction, it's scary because they're true zealots."
"That they are though at least Mr. Compress will pay for his crimes now." Adrien said. "Also, Dabi was correct, Hawks killed Twice though it was justified as he was about to use his Double Quirk and that could have changed the tides of the battle at the villa so lethal force had been authorized. Apparently Hawks had tried his best to avoid it but to no avail."
"It's harsh but the last battle has shown us that at times the only way to win is with lethal force though thankfully it is still rare." Marinette said before she snapped up. "Wait, what about the heroes? Did we lose any?"
"At least 19 killed in addition to the few captured as traitors who were really working for the PLF as their true loyalties lay with the Meta Liberation Army." Adrien said as he gulped. "M, Midnight was one of the ones who died. Momo, Ashido, Kirishima, and Sato found her body and that was just before Momo learned of Majestic's death as well. He died shortly after getting her to safety apparently, that was what allowed Fei to pick Momo up and send Gigantomachia to Jaku so Majestic's last act led many lives being saved."
"R, really?" Marinette said her lip trembling. "Miss Midnight is…"
"She is." Adrien said sadly, he'd grieved but after all they'd been through it wasn't as hard so rather he promised to be there for his friends as they processed their teacher's death. "Along with the number 6 Hero, Crust, Majestic as I mentioned, Native who was the one who carried me out of the alley after my fight with Stain, and several other notable names. They gave their lives so that we could win. Midnight made sure to make the call that told Momo what she needed to do to take down Gigantomachia. She, she'd want us to not let her death get to us, but rather to move on and keep her in our hearts even though we will all mourn her."
"Y, yeah." Marinette said blinking away the tears, even after losing all of their friends and family losing a teacher who'd been so kind to them and was one of their mentors, especially to the girls, was hard. "What of the others? The heroes and our classmates? How bad are the injuries?"
"Our class is pretty good other than you and Midoriya." Adrien said getting a glare from Marinette. "Hey, I was cured."
"Don't push your luck kitty." Marinette said. "I'm still pissed that you almost died, actually you did die but I was able to bring you back so I'd say you suffered the worst injuries. Yes I awakened my Quirk in the end but I'd rather not go through that experience again."
"I know, sorry." Adrien said. "Anyway, Bakugo got stabbed the same way a few times only they weren't fatal as they were treated in time. Todoroki's got a fair few burns though nothing that will scar, Ida was concussed but he should be fine now, Kaminari was hurt by some debris Mr. Compress fired at him, and Jiro and Tokoyami suffered burns from Dabi though neither were too serious. Otherwise the class was good though all members of the Big 3 were hurt as Hado was burned as well, Togata got a few minor stab wounds to the back, Amajiki was knocked out."
"That's not too bad." Marinette said. "And the pros we know? How bad?"
"Fei broke all her ribs, punctured her lung, and cracked her skull but she's on the mend, Mt. Lady has a new scar and some other wounds but she's good as well, and Beth was tossed into a mountain and is healing within Ben for a while apparently, that one I don't understand but the nature of their Quirk allows her to heal up if she's not the one in control of the body apparently." Adrien said. "As for other heroes, Endeavor took several wounds but he's healing well. Hawks was badly burned and can't properly talk at the moment but should be ok except for damage to his wings. Best Jeanist's wounds were internal so he seems fine now. Ryukyu will have a few new scars as well."
"That sounds bad but manageable." Marinette said. "Any others? I'm pretty sure Mirko got hurt pretty badly, right?"
"Yeah she was one of the worst who survived as she's lost her left arm above the elbow and lower right leg along with part of her right ear apparently." Adrien said. "She wasn't the only one to lose a limb, Mr. Aizawa lost his right leg and has suffered significant damage to his right eye it seems though I'm not sure as to the details of how he suffered those wounds."
"Oh." Marinette said as she processed it and she realized the worst part of it. "Wait, that means that Erasure…"
"We don't know what is going on there but we should trust the heroes to have some solution to it if Aizawa can't use it anymore." Adrien said. "So yeah that's what I know about the battle as Mage, Fei, and Momo have been keeping me up to date over the last few days."
"It's not good then." Marinette said as she fully digested the news. "Some good things like capturing that giant villain and several other ones including a few high profile members of the MLA and one of the remaining League members but between the ones who got away, our losses, and the damage Dabi's revelations have done I'd say we lost the war in the end."
"I agree but that's not all that's happened while you were out." Adrien said. "It, er, gets worse."
"Worse?" Marinette asked her eyes wide. "How on earth can it get worse?"
"Well it turns out that Shigaraki and some Nomus attacked Tartarus Prison the night after the raids while we were all still reeling and starting to heal from what had happened." Adrien said. "And took it down. It was thoroughly destroyed."
"Come again." Marinette said her eyes getting even wider. "Isn't that supposed to be a maximum security prison for the worst of the worst."
"It is, it's the highest security prison in the world for villains with what was believed to be a top tier defense system in place." Adrien said. "Even the one in America isn't as secure as Tartarus so all the worst and most dangerous villains in Japan were housed there."
"And it was attacked by Shigaraki?" Marinette asked. "So it's been destroyed."
"Yes though I guess broken open is also accurate as it was a little like the storming of the Bastille it seems only with more death and the prison isn't there anymore." Adrien said. "And all the scum it held are either unaccounted for but believed to be with Shigaraki or were killed in the process. There have been a few confirmed to be dead but not many."
"Oh merde." Marinette said. "So that means…"
"The likes of Stain, Overhaul, Moonfish, and Muscular who we or our classmates have tangled with are free, along with All for One of course." Adrien said. "As are other high profile prisoners who had been locked up there before we returned to the timeline. With the breakout their names are now all over the place so I've seen a few of the big ones like Dictator, Kunieda, and Lady Nagant. That last one, I've learned more about her than any of the others from the news of the breakout seeing as she's a special prisoner."
"She is?" Marinette asked. "I'd never heard of her."
"She was sent to Tartarus for life before we came to the future and since then society has tried to forget about her because what makes her special is who she was before she became a villain." Adrien said before pausing for a moment and then continuing. "Before she was branded a villain she was a beloved hero."
"Wait what?" Marinette asked shocked her eyes wide. "A beloved hero became a villain?"
"It was a scandal a few years back, she killed a fellow hero and was sent to Tartarus for it hence why society has tried to erase her name and for good reason." Adrien said though even with her escape the true reason for her imprisonment and the true identity of the person she murdered to get sent there had been covered up. "She's back now which makes her bad news especially because it's believed that all the villains who escaped have joined All for One because he was almost certainly the one who orchestrated this, via Shigaraki, and thus their numbers have been swelled by the worst villains in recent memory."
"This really isn't good then." Marinette said. "The raids were failures, Dabi damaged the foundation of hero society with his revelations, and now the most secure prison was attack and the villains it holds are free. How can this get any worse?"
"7 more villain prisons were attacked by All for One and the Tartarus escapees in the wake of his escape with 6 of them confirmed to have escapees." Adrien said. "So it's worse as the villains in them are free as well. They aren't as dangerous as the ones at Tartarus but, well, they're bad news still especially given the faith society has lost in heroes."
"Of course they are." Marinette said unsure how to process all of this. "What on earth is going to happen?"
"Right now we don't know." Adrien said. "To add to all this the Head of the HPSC was killed in an attempt to lure Re-Destro into a trap that he was prepared for and countered using a double made with Twice's Quirk, that came from Mage directly so I'm not sure how classified it is. Basically there is utter chaos now. Anarchy is going to descend upon Japan and no one knows what is coming next or what else might already be out there."
"There has to be some plans though?" Marinette asked. "Right?"
"Principal Nezu has said there are some, he's been preparing for the worst for a while." Adrien said. "And he seems to be on top of things as he's already activated several protocols apparently."
"His Quirk does allow for that if I recall so he is a great ally to have right now." Marinette said. "But still, this country's going to become lawless very soon."
"It will so they're setting up shelters at various safe places like U.A., Shiketsu, and Ketsubutsu for people to go to if they want to be safe." Adrien said with a nod. "Mage is also lobbying to be allowed to get involved but so far things are still contained to Japan and the rest of the world is waiting to see how it plays out before acting. So long as this is remains a domestic issue for Japan, the Guardians can't do more than use their sidekicks here to aid. Hell, Mage himself still can't act beyond some strange things he's allowed to do but won't give details about. Given his tone I personally feel like it's best not to ask about them."
"Figures." Marinette said with a sigh. "But the world can't remain idle while Japan descends into anarchy. In this day and age Japan is the lead nation because of All Might and what he's done here so if it falls then what? What's to stop All for One from going elsewhere and you can bet those Vengeful Spirits we met during our first work study won't take advantage of the situation as well."
"The issue is that it's still unclear if Japan will fall or not which is why the other nations are hesitant to act." Adrien said. "Mage mentioned something about the UN or whatever the international body is these days being in session and the Master Guardian, that Dominus guy we met back in our early days here, has gone personally to it. Apparently he's not a fan of it so he's not happy while the rest of the Guardians are on edge with how close to chaos the world is tipping towards."
"It's a colossal mess and it's only going to get worse before it gets better." Marinette said with a sigh. "But we've got to help."
"And we will." Adrien said. "We're going to make sure you can be discharged and then we'll sit down, deal with what is going to come next for us what with our secrets and all. Whatever the case, we must be there to support Midoriya."
"Agreed." Marinette said. "He's the key to things now. This is a fateful battle between All for One and One for All that has finally reached its apex and he'll be in the heart of it. Which means that we'll be by his side, all of us will."
"We will so we need to get even stronger for it." Adrien said. "The cure returning is a good start but you need to be fully ready to use it and that means we need to make sure that you are back in fighting shape as soon as possible."
"I know so as soon as I get out of here I will do everything I can to recover." Marinette said. "I'll…"
Before Marinette could finish her sentence the door barged open and the doctor on duty walked in followed by one of the nurses who'd gone to fetch him. They'd been alerted back when Marinette's heart rate had spiked but they had to check the other devices to confirm that she was conscious before coming to check. Even then, they heard the chatter here when they arrived which confirmed that she was awake which was what had caused them to barge in.
"Ah, Miss Dupain-Cheng, you're awake I thought the alert was correct." The doctor said as he and the nurse came in, interrupting their chat and causing Adrien to get up and fall back so that the doctor could do his work. "Thank you Mr. Agreste. I need to run some tests now, could you alert your legal guardian that Miss Dupain-Cheng is up. He should be informed of this."
"Of course." Adrien said as he took out his phone to call Mage while the doctor began his tests.
He didn't leave the room and Marinette could move as the doctor and nurse began to run the various tests that they had to run but it was clear that she'd be able to get out soon. He needed to tell Mage that so that they could sort things out and have a final discussion about what to do next as it was almost time for them to reveal their secret to their classmates.
It wouldn't be the only big secret that was revealed though as nearby the other member of their class was also waking up from his own coma and the chat with the vestiges in his mindscape. It was time he made his own fateful decision that combined with what Marinette and Adrien also had in store for them would change Class 1-A forever.
Marinette is awake again and understands the change though she's still got to recover and that may take a while. In the meantime there is the whole reveal that is finally at hand but with something as massive as that they need to prepare for it hence one more chat only this time with Marinette awake and able to participate as she and Adrien prepare to change things in Class 1-A as they know it. It's not like there are any other massive pieces of news to come for the class after all. Anyway, that is all that I have for y'all so I will leave this chapter off here before we move into the next arc of My Hero Academia which due to its nature will be told from a slightly different perspective so the stuff Deku goes through away from the class with Muscular and Lady Nagant will remain as they are in canon. As always, if you like it or have any questions please let me know in reviews or PMs, I will try to answer them as best I could and post any questions asked between uploads at the start of the next chapter and do follow and favorite this, so you are alerted to future uploads. Do keep the reviews coming as I like hearing from y'all as you enjoy my work, it motivates me to keep producing the best work I can for y'all to enjoy. Until next time.
