Puma is unhappy with her life and its boring repetition, though she has many friends she feels as though she isn't needed. One day a loner nearly gets caught by dogs and when she saves him, he tells her of a way to get just what she wants. Frostkit is sure that her true destiny is to be a medicine cat, but her family believes that being a warrior is the only way to receive honor.
