The Broken Boosted Gear

By Try Another Time

"Ddraig…."

A voice called out to the Welsh Dragon.

"Too tired." The dragon wanted to remain asleep as his team dragged him around all day.

"Ddraig…"

The voice was masculine and rather threatening as it became louder.

"... Five more minutes," Ddraig said.

"You better wake up before I blast your mind with one of my attacks." The voice said as its presence engulfed Ddraig.

"... Shit." Ddraig then realized the identity of the source of the voice. As he opened his eyes, he found himself before Great Red. "It has been a while since we met, Great Red."

"It has, Ddraig; although I expected to meet your partner as well, his conscience seems beyond my reach. Where is he?" The titanic dragon asked.

"Gautama has him. He's on the path of turning into a Budha." Ddraig admits.

"A Budha? He's too young for such a thing, but I guess I should expect the impossible in our story. Nothing that has occurred is following other possibilities. First, you escaped the booster gear, and now that kid is turning into a Budha." The dragon said as he scratched his chin.

"... Red, I meant to ask about that for a while. You seem to speak about all of us as if our lives were nothing more than repeated stories. What are you hiding?" Ddraig asked.

Great Red begins to grin. "Is not that complicated, kid. You remember the dimensional gap, right?"

"Yes?"

"Well, the whole thing is not only an endless void but could also be described as an infinite room of mirrors. Each mirror contains a reality similar to ours. Each one follows its own timeline, stories, and many share similar events, but they can't interact with each other."

"Wait, so you're saying that there's another Ddraig out there?"

"No one, but an endless number of Ddraig. Some are similar to you, while others are much different, but the primary factor that most "Ddraig" share is the rivalry that leads to your imprisonment inside the booster gear."

"How do you know this if these realities can't interact?"

"Simple, the different versions of "me" are indirectly connected, so we share information. No matter how many things change in each reality, I always remain the same, just like Ophis is the same in each one. We're constants that remain the same, although how we interact with those around us can change. Tiamat is my favorite "child" here, but in another reality is you or Albion or any of the first generation. The same happens with who's the booster gear host; here was Issei, and in many realities is the same, but in others, it can be any other human descendant. Each reality follows its own story, so neither is a copy of the one that came before or after. But let's stop talking about that. You need to worry about "our" reality; how are things? How's Tosca?"

"You dropped a massive bomb, and yet you want to change the theme that fast? Talk about being rude." Ddraig shakes his head. "Things have gone mostly positive since we met. The Alliance has grown; we recruited Athena, Hephaestus, and even Thor. I learned that I became an uncle due to Hephaestus having a daughter with Aphrodite after they divorce."

"Hephaestus has a daughter with Aphrodite? That's quite a surprise. See, our reality is impressive. I doubt any other reality can claim to have a child born from those two." Great Red said as he smiled, feeling proud of his "home."

"Silly old bastard. Tosca is doing well; she has accepted to train under Athena. She's bound to grow even stronger, thanks to Athena. I'm currently away on a mission to Ra's realm. Tiamat and Tosca are not with me; Tiamat also created Shangri-La, so take the time to visit her."

"... She created a nation for dragons?"

"Dragons and other races. It will be the center of the Alliance, so it's not only for dragons."

"Idiot, you don't understand how important this is. I have tried so many times to make a safe place for all of you to call home, but I failed each time. Humans are not trustworthy allies, no matter how hard I try to trust them. Yet Tiamat finally achieved what I hope for across so many realities. I almost want to cry, but I guess it was also thanks to you. Your actions led to this point, so thank you for it, kiddo. I might not be the best guide or support, but I care about each of you and hope for the best."

"Are you trying to be a parent now?"

"I'm just trying to have a wholesome moment with my kin. I'm connected to the first generation as much as Gaia. We both play our part and give you the tools to write your own paths. Your choices are yours alone."

Ddraig nods as he acknowledges the words of the True Dragon. "We wouldn't ask for any other way. So thanks for that."

"You're welcome. Before we continue, I detect something different in you and your partner. Did you two get involved in a weird ritual? Your souls are like tiny sparks slowly dwindling with each minute."

"... We bit more than we could chew months ago."

"Ddraig, you need to be careful with your souls. Fixing souls is too complicated even for me. It is like putting a mirror back together, but the pieces vanish before you even try to put them back where they belong. What can I do to fix this mess?" Great Red scratches his chin as he reflects. "Well, there's nothing but this."

The large claw of the dragon touches the chest of Draig's draconic form. A crystalline flame is infused into his chest.

"This will aid you in your time of need. It will take time, but it will aid the remaining pieces to create a new soul while not letting any memories disappear. This is all I can do for you two, so don't get yourselves killed before then."

"What did you do?" The dragon felt no changes inside.

"Is just some preparations for the future thanks to the knowledge of a different me; you don't want to know what other gods out there are capable of. You can continue as you have been doing, but be careful you're not immortal, so don't test your luck. One mistake, and there won't be a miracle to save either of you. Anyways, let's continue. I want to know if I'm becoming a grandpa once more. Is Tiamat pregnant?"

"... You're one excited grandpa."

"I love giving titles to my kin, and I'm excited to meet the future children of you two. I'm also excited to see what children come from your other brides as well. You never know what to expect." Great Red continues.

"Well…."

So the pair continue to talk within Great Red's dominion.

Hours after, real world. Nine days since the beginning of the trip.

Ddraig opened his eyes, but instead of finding his bed, he saw that he was in the "living room" of the boat. He was resting on one of the couches and wasn't alone. As his eyes looked at his chest, he saw the resting shape of Yasaka.

The nine-tailed fox was drooling as she held onto his shirt.

"... I should have carried her to her bed last night instead of napping on the couch while they played."

His eyes looked around the rest of the room and quickly found Rossweisse and Liv hugging each other on a different couch while Eury was sleeping in a weird position in a chair across from him.

"Note to self: Take everyone to their beds after a casino night involving weird alcohol that your crew bought from that mysterious merchant."

It didn't affect him, but his team was a whole different case. As the dragon tried to get up, he found Yasaka's tails tightly wrapped around his legs.

"Aren't you a bit too touchy with the tails? We don't have that kind of relationship." Ddraig tried to remove them, but Yasaka made it harder for him as her tails continued to wrap themselves even tighter than before. "Hey, stop it with the tail trap. I might get in trouble if we're seen like this."

The dragon began to tap Yasaka's head.

"Five more minutes." She said as she smacked his hand away.

"Yasaka, please wake up before the rest of the team sees us like this," Ddraig whispered in her ears.

"No…. darling. My ears are sensitive." The sleeping fox said as she rubbed her head against his chest.

Ddraig slaps his face before reaching out and grabbing Yasaka's ears. He began to rub them to incite some kind of reaction from the fox.

"Darling aren't you too touch-" As soon as her eyes opened and she saw who she was calling darling, she stopped in her tracks. "... Ddraig?"

"Tails. Please be a sweetheart and remove them." The dragon said as he remained calm.

Yasaka looked and did as told. Her face was burning red.

"Get up," Ddraig said.

Yasaka continues to follow his direction.

"Now, go to your room and get ready for the day. I need to bring these three to their rooms. Don't worry too much. I'm not mad or disappointed; Try not doing it again. Aku is bound to make a scene if he hears that you and I shared a "bed." I don't want to think about what Kunou will do either." Ddraig says before he approaches the sleeping cousins.

Yasaka remains silent as she's unable to calm down. Her mind is going through her memories from the previous night as she tries to figure out what led to such a scandalous event. "When did I do that? I remember everyone else fell asleep, but I… shared a night with him! Oh, my Gaia! Yasaka, you're too old for things like this. Just what are you doing?"

As the fox tries her best to calm down, the dragon remains calm as he carries the cousins to their room. His extra set of arms carefully lifted the older cousin Liv while Rossweisse rested in his first set. Their faces expressed safety, and their bodies didn't reject his touch.

For a duo who had lost all trust in their former patron deity, they had quickly adapted to the Alliance. Neither Liv nor the remaining Valkyries showed a drop of distrust as they joined the Alliance.

"We owe the Alliance our freedom, and we're determined to do our best to achieve the expectations of the Alliance." It was hard to forget Liv's expression as she kneeled alongside Rossweisse before the heads of the Alliance when they were asked to join the team.

If Rossweisse was the brain, it was evident that Liv was the brave heart that charged forward. They complimented each other as a pair, which was ironic due to their "eye" situation.

"The left and the right eye of Ymir, always together even if there's no family to return to. It is admirable how much you two endure, and I applaud your actions until now. Yet, there's much room for growth as agents, but the determination is there. I'd like to see how much you two change after some years go by." The dragon told himself as he opened the door with his tail.

He was careful not to wake either of them as he placed them on their beds. It was hot, and both were sweating, so under such circumstances, he unbuttoned their shirts to give them space to breathe. The girls smiled in their sleep as their bodies cooled down a bit.

After that, he removed their shoes and quickly went outside before closing the door.

"Hopefully, they don't mistake this for something else. I have had enough with Yasaka." Ddraig walked back into the living room, but Yasaka was nowhere to be seen. "Must be in the bathroom. Let's go and get Eury."

As he approached the chair, he was met with the disastrous sleeping shape of his niece.

"Morning…. Uncle…." The sleepy goddess said as she began to open her eyes.

"Morning to you too. Want me to carry you back to your room, or can you stand up on your own?" Ddraig asked.

"... Carry me. My body feels like crap." Eury said as she touched her neck. "This is bound to suck for the rest of the day."

Ddraig shakes his head as he goes to grab her. "Piggyback?"

"Piggyback," Eury replied.

"Alright, up you go." Ddraig carefully places her on his back. "Good?"

"Great. I always dreamed about this whenever Dad used to talk about you. He said that one day you would give me as many rides on your back as I wanted."

"It is never too late. Just let me know."

"Yeah, best uncle ever." Eury jokes.

"What about Apollon? He has been there for you for much longer than I."

"Uncle Apollon is not fun. I can't tease him about his love life. He's an open book with no a single drop of shame. I can fall for it if it is beautiful and feminine enough; that's his phrase. Is annoying."

"I promise never to say something similar."

"I doubt you will; you dragons don't seem to like members of your gender that much."

"It must be part of our nature, but since you like to talk so much about my love life, what about you, Miss Eurydice?"

"I don't see myself in a relationship anytime soon, Uncle."

"Why? You're young, beautiful, a hard worker, and so much more."

"I appreciate the comments, but I haven't found that person that catches my eye. I want someone that doesn't speak much, someone that is hard for me to read, someone that allows their actions to speak for them."

"The silent type? Why?"

"Because I can't trust words that easily. I can see the true emotions and intentions of everyone around me. Nothing remains hidden. It is much more effective than the ability to read someone's mind. For example, I know exactly what everyone feels about you and how they see you. Serafall is deeply in love, and Gabriel is at a similar level. Ereshkigal still holds a deep hatred for you, but she's also okay with your existence. Baraqiel respects you a lot, and so does Rogier. I can see everything in the emotional spectrum, even if my eyes are closed."

"The perfect spy ability."

"Don't call it that." She glares at him.

"Sorry, it was just a dumb joke. Anyways, I can see what you mean. It will be easy to see who loves you with all their heart, but you also want that person to demonstrate it through actions. My niece is such a romantic."

"What else do you expect? I also want some romance in my life, but I'm willing to wait. I don't want to rush and be hurt like Dad. I want only one romance, not two, not three; just one. No offense, Uncle, but a harem doesn't suit my taste."

"None taken. It is good that you want to wait for that special someone. There's no rush. Who knows, maybe one of my future children will be your special someone?"

"Wouldn't that be a sweet development? Dad would be in a pool of tears if he learned that I wanted to marry Uncle's son."

"No girls?"

"No, I follow the path of a dragon, my gender doesn't call out to me, or so I think; who knows? Would you be against it if I sought out one of your children in the future? I'll be much older than them."

Ddraig shakes his head. "As long as you wait until they have matured, I won't oppose it. I will be right alongside Hephaestus, crying my eyes out in that wedding ceremony. I will cheer and scream as I see you two…." The dragon starts to sniffle as he imagines such a day.

"You're crying?"

"Hey, I can be sentimental; you're my only niece, although I missed way too many birthdays. Seeing you happily married will be too much for Hephaestus and me." Ddraig says as he tries to hold the tears back.

"Oh, Uncle, you'll make me cry as well," Eury says as she holds her tears. "But are you going to cry when Tosca gets married?"

"... I will… after I beat Isaiah to a pulp." His tone turns serious.

"So you know the guy. Tell me about him. I heard about this mysterious reincarnated devil that trains day and night under Okita Soji. I have never seen him, but he sounds like an interesting fellow. Come on, let's chat about him." The goddess started to pinch his cheek seeking to make him give in.

Yet the dragon didn't give in—the wholesome interaction continued for a while longer until Ddraig brought her back to her room.

It was time for a new day, and they all needed to prepare for today as nobody knew what to expect in this massive desert full of dangers beneath the sand.

Two hours after.

Ingvild and Ddraig were checking the areas around the ship while the rest of the team was back on the ship.

The girl had asked for the chance to become a more active team member, so she was offered the opportunity to guard the ship from danger alongside Ddraig.

It was a simple task: just look around and engage any creatures trying to approach the ship violently. It was a good place for Ingvild to put her devil powers to use after so long, so she accepted the task.

Sadly, no targets were to be seen after a while.

"I expected more action. Is the amulet that effective?" Ingvild asked the dragon.

"You can say that, but it also concerns my presence. Wild beasts don't face strong opponents under normal circumstances unless they feel that they can win. Is all about survival in the wild." Ddraig explained as he swam around.

"I see. It seems I won't be able to practice in the end. Maybe I'll ask Serafall for a training regime."

"Is a good approach but don't force yourself. We don't expect you to join the battlefield if you don't want that."

"But you hold some expectations about my sacred gear, don't you?"

Ddraig shakes his head. "As long as you don't use to cause chaos, we're fine with you living a peaceful life. The concern with your gear is the influence it can have on dragons. If outside forces ever captured you, you could be used against us. You could gain control over the minds of many Alliance members, such as Tannin and even Midg, while also affecting their descendants. You could become a dangerous threat to the Alliance and the realms in the wrong hands. But your gear doesn't stop there, as it could possibly boost dragons under your influence, and you can also affect large bodies of water with it as well. Is a rather befitting sacred gear for someone related to the Leviathan clan."

"I know. Azazel-san explained to me, but I don't see myself controlling armies of dragons. I don't know if I will ever reach such mastery with the gear."

"Is all about training and the will of the user. When Nereid Kyrie finally awakens, you must remain calm and think about how you're going to use its power. It lacks a form, but you'll find a method that best fits you when using it. I heard from Serafall that you have a fantastic singing voice, so try to use that to control its power."

"So you're telling me to sing?"

"Exactly. You don't need to fight with your hands; you just need to use what best fits you to your advantage."

"Singing…. I can try it if that can help me control such a power, but I don't see a target I can use in this place. The Grand Nile is too far from us."

"You have me. As I said, its powers affect dragons, so try using it to influence me positively. Sort of like boosting me."

"You'll allow me to do that?"

"As long as you don't try to control my mind. It might not work initially, but it can work if you put in some effort."

"I want to try."

"Now?"

"I want to see if my voice can connect with you. Is making me a bit excited."

Ddraig remained silent for a bit before he answered. "I see no problem in testing it now. Maybe it will awaken your gear but don't feel sad if nothing happens."

"I know, but I'll try to give it my best." Ingvild stands up before she touches the earrings that she's wearing. The earrings shine for a bit before they transform into a pair of headphones. "I have to thank Sera-chan for these things. There's so much music and artists to learn from."

As she looks through the long playlist, Serafall had prepared for her, a particular song captures her attention.

"Ready?" Ddraig asks.

"Yes." Ingvild closes her eyes as the tune starts to play. The lyrics return to her as if she had listened to the song a million times.

*Sheryl Nome starring May'n- Diamond Crevasse*

"kami-sama ni koi wo shiteta koro wa (When I was still in love with god)," Ingvild starts to sing.

Ddraig's ears are quickly drawn to the delicate voice of Ingvild. "She's good, although not to the level of a professional, but she's good."

The dragon slows down as Ingvild's voice captures his attention.

Ingvild continues to sing the song without missing a single lyric as she feels the emotions behind each word. "This age has given birth to such wonderful songs and melodies." The joy she felt pushed her to increase the effort she put into her voice. Her volume increased with each second, and its allure attracted Ddraig more with each second.

As the song continues, time seems to stop for the pair. For Ddraig, the voice of Ingvild was similar to a charming tune he couldn't ignore, and for Ingvild, this small concert was one she didn't know she needed.

It was so effective that neither noticed the change in Ingvild's eyes as a mysterious symbol replaced her irises. Maybe due to the presence of the dragon or Ingvild's own emotions, but it led to the initial stages of the activation of the gear.

A mysterious aura began to surround her before the same began to spread around the body of Ddraig.

But before this private concert could continue, Ddraig detected the killing instinct of an approaching enemy. "Ingvild, grab my horns, and don't let go."

"Eh?" Ingvild looked around as she was brought back from her trance state. She looked around until she saw an approaching body slowly rising from beneath the sand.

"Get ready," Ddraig said as he awaited the incoming attack.

"Oh dear Lilith, protect me!" Ingvild quickly grabbed the horns and prepared for what was to come.

The mysterious attacker lunged forward and tried to sink its fangs into Ddraig. It was a large black-scale "snake" with deep red eyes and four horns. Its sharp fangs were like daggers of the highest quality, which could pierce through most materials.

Ddraig knew better than to allow such a beast to sink its fangs into his skin. Snakes were known for having venoms capable of immobilizing or killing animals which are much bigger than them, so to prevent this, Ddraig chose to evade the attack by jumping before he countered with his trident tail.

His sharp appendage pierced the snake's body, making it even angrier as it went on the offensive once more.

Ddraig evaded the snake again before he paid the attack with the same treatment by bitting the area closest to the snake's head, thus locking the large reptile in place.

The serpentine body twisted itself with wild determination, but the trident was buried deep into its lower body, and Ddraig was increasing the pressure behind his jaws. No matter how hard it tried to escape or how much it hissed in pain, its fate was sealed. Ddraig finished the beast as his jaws severed the head from the rest of the body.

Its purple blood spilled in all directions as the severed head rolled around the sand and hissed briefly until it became motionless. The body continued to move until Ddraig pinned it down with his claws.

"Are you alright?" Ddraig asked Ingvild.

"Yes, are you alright? Isn't the flesh of the beast dangerous to you?" Ingvild asks.

"I don't detect any venom, so the body is fine to eat. I wasn't expecting to find one of these this early into the trip."

"Wait, you know what it is?"

"Boracious Giant Desert Serpents, better known as Black Phantom Vipers, are solitary predators supposedly found much deeper into the realm. They are known as mostly night predators that attack any unfortunate souls entering their territory. One of these could sell off at some of the highest prices due to their body parts' multiple usages, but in our case, we only care about the meat."

"... Don't tell me you're planning on cooking it?"

"You ate the scorpions."

"But this a giant snake. Its eyes are still glaring at us." Ingvild said as she pointed her finger at the head.

"Stop being picky." Ddraig charges a fireball and incinerates the head. "There, you can't say anything about it."

"But it is a snake, Ddraig. Doesn't it cause you some aversion?"

"You're not a child, and you ate other creatures as scary as this. Is it because you're part of the Leviathan clan?"

"... Our clan symbol is indeed an elongated reptile, but no is not because of that. I just don't find them appetizing."

"... Okay, I won't force you to eat it." The dragon puts the body away into his storage before he looks around. "Where did this thing come from?"

As his eyes looked around the area, he saw a lioness standing on top of a tall dune of sand. Its feline eyes glared at him, intending to fight him, yet it did not move.

"Ddraig?" Ingvild calls out to him.

"Don't move an inch, Ingvild. A dangerous goddess is watching us." The dragon says as he awaits the next move of the goddess.

Ingvild gulps as she turns her eyes in the same direction as Ddraig. "Is that Sekhmet?"

"It might be just an avatar she sent, but I can't be sure."

The duo continued to await the next action of the lioness, but after a while, they breathed a sigh of relief as the lioness walked away. Its shape disappeared, leaving no tracks behind.

"We got lucky this time," Ddraig said.

"We did, but she will return on another date, right?" Ingvild asks.

"Highly possible, but Baraqiel, Liv, and I will have to face her when that day comes. The three of us will be enough for the fight."

"Are you sure?"

The dragon smirks. "You need to trust your allies a bit more, Ingvild. Trust goes a long way."

"I know; I only have Serafall and all of you until I figure out the mystery surrounding Father."

"... You think he's out there?"

"I hope that is the case, but I also feel afraid of what I could find."

"Don't let the past blind you to what appears before you. There's a chance that he's no longer the same Father you remember. There's a high chance he's involved with the remnants of the old Satans, and if that's the case, it will make us enemies."

"... Will you kill him if that's the case?"

"I can only assure you that I'll try to capture him in one piece. I offer mercy to as many enemies as possible; what they choose to do after is up to them. I'll even mention you if I have to, but you must be ready to face the worst possible outcomes. The Old Satans, those involved with Risevim Lucifer, are dangerous enemies of the alliance. Their plans will only bring misery and chaos to other realms, never trust their words."

Ingvild slowly nods. "I know, but I thank your sincerity. I'll take it if there's a slight chance my Father will get sparred. I won't ask more of you."

"Very well. Now, let's speak about our small concert. Did you feel anything?"

Ingvild remained silent as she tried to remember what had occurred before they were attacked. "I don't know. I felt as if I was close to something, but I lost my concentration."

"That's alright. You can keep practicing at your own pace. I'll be around if you ever need my aid." Ddraig said before he began to swim in the direction of the ship.

"Thanks. I can see why Serafall felt for you. The legends didn't paint an accurate picture of you. The Welsh Dragon seems far more approachable than I expected." The girl smiles as she feels the start of a friendship.

"Legends are just stories people tell, but sometimes the facts are accurate. I did many of the things the legends said I did. Many fell to my claws, and I did bring misery to many of the hosts of the Booster Gear and their families. I'm the only one to blame for many of those tragedies, but I can assure you that I don't seek to repeat the same mistakes from my past. My life is not my own to sacrifice as I please."

Ingvild pats his head as she listens to him. "I know. Serafall has told me about you and what you and Issei have accomplished until now. I also like to see what the Welsh Dragon continues to do in the future."

"... I'll like to see what that voice of yours can do with the right guidance. Le Fay also has a talent for singing; maybe you two can become a duet of singers with Serafall's guidance."

"Me singing in a public place? Like an arena with millions of people?"

"Exactly like that. Serafall likes to promote talents, and maybe you and Le Fay can become the next group capturing millions' eyes in the human world and across the realms. Singing is scary for those who stand alone on stage, but maybe the two of you can do it."

"A singer… me?" Ingvild reached out to the sky with her hand. "Would you support us if Le Fay and I can work together?"

"I'll be your duet's first fan if that's the case. Us dragons like music, and having our own divas seems like a dream come true. Let others hear your voice if that is the dream you want to follow." Ddraig said.

Without realizing it, he had planted the seeds for the future of something amazing.

"My voice reaching all realms. Thank you for giving me a push toward something that might be bigger than my wildest dreams. I expect you to be present for our first concert."

Ddraig smirks. "I wouldn't miss it. So go ahead and sing for me again, future diva. Show me what your far your voice can reach."

Ingvild smiles with a new goal in mind. "It'll be my pleasure, so don't turn your eyes away at any point."

The young Leviathan looks to the sky with a smile that shines brighter than ever before as a dream begins to take shape.

Years after. The night sky on top of Shangri-La.

"Girls, you have three minutes until your time to shine comes. Please tell me that you're ready for it." Serafall said as she communicated with them through a magic circle.

Three girls dressed in impressive outfits smiled as they heard the voice of their manager across the circle.

"You need to relax, Serafall-san. We got this." The first girl said. Her striking outfit was colored black with amber as its secondary color. A mysterious mask hid the upper part of her face. She held some kind of robotic surfing board under her right arm.

"We practice a lot for this concert. It is the end of vacations, so let's finish with a bang." The second girl said. Her outfit was similar to her fellow member, but her colors were golden and red. A magical staff with the shape of a dragon rested on her right hand. A similar mask hides her face.

"... I need to thank you for all of this, Sera-chan. If it weren't for you, we wouldn't be here tonight." The last member said as she stood at the lead. Her white and blue outfit matched the other two, but she held a microphone instead of a magic staff or a futuristic surfing board. A similar mask hid her face.

"It was nothing, Ingvild. Now the rest is all up to you three." Serafall said.

"But I also have to thank you the most, Ddraig. You supported all of us the most. You never gave up on us and this dream." Ingvild said as held the tears back.

"I'll let you say a few words, but don't take too long. The fans are waiting." Serafall says before she ends the call.

The dragon they were standing in only smirked as he saw the trio getting ready for the night of a lifetime. It took a lot of practice, tears, sweat, and a few obstacles to reach this point, but he supported them at all points alongside many others. Now it was up to them to make it a night like no other. "It was you three that made it happen, not me. Go and sing your hearts out. I'll take care of the rest out here." Ddraig said as he turned his sight to the approaching enemy forces.

"Yes. Be sure to come back to us." The trio said as they jumped off and set out to the arena that awaited them below.

"It won't take long. Just do what you know best." Ddraig said as he went off to face the enemies that threatened their home.

As her eyes saw him fly away, Ingvild teared up before she placed the microphone before her mouth. "Thank you for being by my side, you lovable dragon; this one is for you."

*Megumi Nakajima and May'n- Lion*

The shouting of the fans below increased as the tune of one of the group's cover songs began to play.

"Let's do this!" Ingvild said as she spread her wings.

Her team members nodded as the one with the surfing board activated its mechanism to allow her to fly while the one with the magic staff used her powers to aid her descent into the stage.

It was time for a concert for the ages as a massive fight was also about to begin in the sky above.

Notes of the author:

I like what I like and proudly accept the Macross influence in my heart.
