Same Day: Earth, London, England
Outside: Greenwich University Campus Grounds
Tom turns and throws his dagger at Dark Lizard 3, stabbing him in the neck. Tom's eyes glowing, he dodges his head to the right as Dark Lizard 4 stabs forward at him, and Tom quickly lifts his left elbow and hits Dark Lizard 4 back in the face.
Tom quickly lifts his right hand behind his back before ducking forward as Dark Lizard 5 swings horizontally at him. Tom stands straight as he takes out his bow and arrow, turning around and firing a shot at Dark Lizard 5's chest.
Tom takes out another arrow. He looks where Star is located and quickly lines up his arrow, and fires at Dark Lizard 4 as he tries to stand up and charge at Tom. Tom then turns around, lifting his bow up to stop Dark Lizard 7 swing. Tom glares hard at him.
Star stands up and charges toward Toffee, who sends another blast of the Aether at Star (Slow Motion). Star sees the blast coming and lowers down, sliding across the cement before standing up. Her wand lights up with lightning as Star swings forward and blasts Toffee in the chest (Slow Motion Over).
Toffee flies back into a portal, lightning still around Star's wand, and she runs forward, where a faint blue outline of the portal remains. Suddenly, Toffee hits Star as he comes back through the portal as if he didn't leave. Star flips back before she lands on the ground, hitting a crushed car.
Inside: University Library
The students realize there's a fight outside and run to the windows to watch. Marco, Jackie, and Mr. Candle run in.
Jackie shouts to the students, "What are you all doing? You need to get out of here, now!"
A male student questions Jackie as the three run past, "You're joking, right?" He held his phone towards the window, "That's Star out there!" He moves his hand, trying to imitate Star's wand, "She's waving her wand around and everything! With that demon dude, Tom, firing his arrows!" He pulls his arm back a bit, trying to imitate Tom's bow and arrow before turning back to the window.
Outside: Uni Campus Grounds
Star jumps and blasts her lightning wand at Toffee, who raises his arm to block, and it causes an energy wave. The ripple tears up the ground towards the library building and causes the windows to shatter.
Inside: Uni Campus Library
(Slow Motion) All the students duck for cover as the shattered glass falls, some screaming in fright. Marco covers his head with his arm and turns his head to see behind him before looking forward as he runs down the stairs.
Outside: Uni Campus Grounds
Toffee uses his Aether strength to force Star back, sending her in the air. Star hits the stone balcony railing as she does. Toffee stares at a distant Star, and steps forward, doesn't realize Star's flying back before he gets closer and tackles him back, both flying through a portal with a bunch of cars getting sucked backwards with them.
SVARTALFHEIM: Field
Star, Toffee, and the bunch of cars come flying through the portal and tumble across the black sand dunes of Svartalfheim.
They crash down a hill, both grunting and fighting a bit as the cars, Toffee and Star, roll down the hill and go over a cliff, falling into a ravine, but they ripple through another portal.
Earth: London, England
Toffee and Star fall through the air above London, with a few cars following. Star twists and blasts Toffee with her wand, falling to the street, but the two go through another portal just before they hit the road, and the cars that have been tumbling and falling alongside them smash upon the road.
SVARTALFHEIM: Fields
Star and Toffee, having entered another portal that takes them again to Svartalfheim, crash to the ground.
Toffee rolls away from Star a bit. They both quickly stand, and Star throws her wand at Toffee, but it disappears into Toffee's chest, aka through a portal, as Toffee braces himself for the hit and glances down as it goes through.
Earth: London, England
The wand goes through a portal and ends up back on Earth. The wand passes the London bridge and rises up into space to find its way back to Star.
SVARTALFHEIM: Fields
Toffee looks up at Star, who stands silently, surprised that her wand went through him/portal. Toffee raises his arms up then down and releases another burst of Aether upon Star, who flies back and hits a rock wall behind her before hitting the ground.
Toffee walks up to Star, who gets up. Toffee slams his fist onto her back, and they both disappear through the sand.
Earth: London, England
Uni Campus Grounds
Tom, still fighting the Dark Lizards, fires an arrow at Dark Lizard 8, hitting its chest, then he turns around and swings his bow horizontally to hit Dark Lizard 9 in the face, then quickly turns around as he grabs an arrow, fires a shot to Dark Lizard 10 as he goes to fires his weapon at Tom.
Tom, breathing heavily, stares forward, narrowing his eyes as he sees something with his golden-yellow eyes, quickly nocks another arrow and fires to the left of him at Dark Lizard 9, then he gets distracted as he gasps and mutters, "Star." He turns his head and gets tackled by Dark Lizard 11. They suddenly go through a portal before they can hit the ground.
Sky
Tom and Dark Lizard 11 go through the same portal at the same time as Toffee and Star. The four of them fall and hit the Swiss Re Tower hard, but doesn't break the glass.
They all slide down the peak of its glass dome as surprised restaurant patrons on the top floor look up to see their screaming faces as they semi-slowly slide down the glass window, "Ah!"
The four then fall completely down the tower. Some people within the building lean over the window to see them fall, while some turn their heads toward the window as they hear the screams.
Star grabs Tom by the waist, pushing him towards her so his back is against her, then she holds out her right hand and calls for her wand as she and Tom fall.
Space
The flying wand is still flying up in space, then turns around and heads back to Earth.
Earth: Sky
Star straining while she's calling for her wand as she falls.
The wand rounds a corner of the street.
Star is close to the ground, but Star and Tom go through a portal before the wand reaches their location.
The confused wand then flies upwards, the pressure smashing the windows along the tower as it flies up towards the sky, passing two military jets.
The two military jets fly toward Toffee's Ark.
Pilot 1's voice on the radio says, "Confirming ship is hostile."
A British man's voice on the radio says, "Confirmed ship is hostile. You have permission to engage."
Pilot 1's voice responds as he moves his joystick to the right, "Roger. Missiles locked." He presses the red button on the joystick, "Missiles away." The missiles veer away and disappear in one of the Convergence portals above the Ark. Pilot 1 voice reports, "Missiles off target. I repeat, target missed." The jet loses control as it heads towards the Ark and the portal above, "I'm losing control." Both jets get sucked into the portal.
Vanaheim: Fields
The two military jets fall through the portal and are now flying in Vanaheim.
Pilot 2's voice panics, "Mayday! Mayday! Lost positive control!" One of the missiles hits the ground and explodes as the two jets try to get control of their plane-crafts.
Lady Whosits turns her head and watches in disbelief as the jets hurtle past.
Earth: London, England
Greenwich University: Campus Grounds
Jackie, Marco, and Mr. Candle are running out of the building as blasts are hitting the stone columns and walls behind them.
Mr. Candle asks Marco as he runs in the middle of Mr. Candle and Jackie, "What are you doing?"
Marco concentrates on his remote device as he runs, "My signal's not connecting." Parts of the building crashed around them.
A group of Dark Lizards turns the corner behind them. Marco stops to turn the dials, but Mr. Candle and Jackie grab him as more Dark Lizards come running from another direction.
Mr. Candle shouts, "Marco! Jackie! Come on."
(Slow Motion) Both Mr. Candle and Jackie guide Marco down the stone stairs as another blast hits the column behind them.
Jotunheim
Star, Tom, Dark Lizard 11, and Toffee crash upon Jotunheim, landing near a cliff. They all stand up. Suddenly, a Frost Giant Beast erupts from the ice and jumps towards them.
Star grabs Tom and pulls him towards her as the Frost Giant Beast roars and snatches Dark Lizard 11 up in his enormous mouth as he smashes onto the icy shelf on which they stand.
The icy shelf crumbles, and they all drop down towards a ravine, all screaming before dropping into another portal.
Earth: London, England
Greenwich University: Campus Grounds
Brittney and Justin run through the streets of London. They look to their left to see 5 Dark Lizards. They run forward and narrowly miss the laser fire of the 5 pursuing Dark Lizards. The blasts hit the building by them. Brittney and Justin separate as they jump for cover by a mini.
Suddenly, the Frost Giant Beast appears and charges through the alley where Justin and Brittney came from. The Frost Giant Beast unwittingly saves Justin and Brittney by snatching a Dark Lizard up in its jaws and eating it, causing the other Lizards to flee in the opposite direction before the beast bounds away.
Both lying on the ground, Justin notices the car beside him floating inches above the road. He looks underneath to see Brittney on the other side. then he sees the Dark Lizards returning. Justin quickly stands to his feet as Brittney rises to her feet, and she steps back as her eyes widen in fear.
Remembering what the child did with the truck (From Chapter 4), Justin lifts the mini up, grunts as he turns the car and throws it, the car smashing the Dark Lizards. Brittney screams and steps back as the over-turned car crushes the Dark Lizards. Brittney turns her head and looks at Justin in astonishment.
Justin asks Brittney as he holds the bumper of the mini, "Are you alright?"
Brittney panted, "You saved my life."
Justin looks down at the bumper in his hands and throws it to the side, "Yeah." Brittney approaches Justin, "I guess I did." Brittney stops in front of Justin, still looking at him, amazed.
Another Area
Jackie, Marco, and Mr. Candle are still running, with a group of Dark Lizards running behind. As Jackie, Marco, and Mr. Candle slow to a halt before another group of Dark Lizards arrives and is about to attack, but suddenly, the air shimmers and the Dark Lizards disappear, only to be replaced by Justin and Brittney, who has Justin tipped back in her arms and is kissing him.
Justin moans a bit in the kiss, "Mmm." The three turn around and look at the two kissing interns, confused and weirdly.
Jackie looks at the two, confused, "Brittney?"
Brittney quickly pulls away and looks up to see the other three standing a few feet from her. Brittney is surprised and shouts, "Jackie!" As she releases Justin, who falls to the ground.
Mr. Candle narrows his eyes, "Justin!"
Justin sits up on his hands behind him, "Mr. Candle!"
Just then, the wand flies past, right above them, through the columns where they're standing near. Brittney points at it, "Look!" The wand is still trying to find its way back to Star.
