Beryl was sitting on her throne, surrounded by everyone, and Zoicite was right in front of her.
- Are you telling me that showed up another warrior?
- Yes, your majesty - admits Zoicite - I dont know how could this happen, but...
- Shut up! - she demands, getting up immediately - I dont wanna hear another word. Go get more energy before those meddlers distroy our plans. And distroy them somehow. Its your responsability to do that after allowing more worries to our side.
- Yes, your majesty. Ill do it right now - says Zoicite shaking a little bit and feeling some stress knowing that Beryl was calling him an incompetent.
It was Sunday and the streets were full of persons walking around and relaxing. Usagi was walking with Ami around an outdoor place where small trade prevails, that was also full of persons buying things.
- Incredible! I never thought seeing this place so full - says Ami, completely surprised in her calm way.
- Did you ever come to this place, Ami?
- No, never! I actually heard about it, but I never came.
- So, lets have some fun. You need to relax a little bit. Im gonna show you the best stores around here. Especially now that my parents gave me a big allowance because I had a much better grade - she says with euphoria, showing in her hands a fan of notes - For an 80% in my english test! Did you see? I never had sush a grade - she continues, opening her arms with enthusiasm.
- I heard about it. Congratulations!
- Thank you! But lets forget about school today and relax. We also deserve that - she says, guiding Ami by her hand.
They pass by a lot of stores and Usagi buy a lot of things. She could see that Ami was also buying things, even not so many like her. More than that, they were having fun by everywhere. After a long time walking together, theres a point, after get in in another store, that Usagi loses Ami of view and runs looking for her.
"Where did she go?" - she asks to herself.
Soon she sees her in a book store, reading a book. She gets in immediately.
- Ami, what are you doing here?
- Ah, Usagi. I just came here to buy a book that I need for my studies - she explains.
" How can this girl think about books in sush a non-school day?" - thinks Usagi - Alright! But... after that can we forget about school issues again? Please! - begs Usagi with puppys eyes, grabbing her arm.
- Alright! - agrees Ami, laughing lightly of her expression.
After paying the book, they continue their walk together until they arrive to a store full of clocks and alarm clocks that called their attention.
- They are so beautiful - says Usagi, looking to the showcase.
- Yes, they are - agrees Ami.
- I think Im gonna buy one.
- Dont youve one already?
- I broke it - she admits - I threw it to the floor while I was dreaming. Now Ive been using the cellphone, but it looks like its alarm clock is still not working since yesterday.
- Yes, thats true - says Ami, also looking to her cellphone - Mine isnt working either. But I heard from the news that this is general. It looks like the alarm clocks from the cellphones are not working for everyone.
- Those fails are so annoying - she complains - They dont give me another option otherwise to by a new alarm clock.
Both could see that store full of clients, admiring the clocks.
- Im gonna see what theyve inside. Do you wanna come?
- Yes. Im going with you.
- Are you interested in buy an alarm clock too?
- Not at all! I always wake up naturally in time to go to school. But I wanna see them anyway.
- Well, lucky you. I´m never late for school thanks to my alarm clock. But if I dont use one, Ill sleep forever.
Ami laughs again of her words.
They get in and start seeing all the clocks. They could see there was a giant pendulum clock in there and they presumed it was just a decorative thing. Meanwhile, the maker of those clocks, a middle-aged woman, was in the backstore, creating more clocks and with an incredible obsession. Zoicite was seeing her working and controlling her steps. He knew from her talent that that woman was a good "candidate" to get energy. Also her creations were programmed to get the energy of those who buy them. The first part of his plan, that was controlling that woman, was complete. It was just missing the second part that he knew it will start very soon.
Seeing Usagi and Ami getting in, the maker gets up and goes to her sales area.
- Hi, girls. Did you already find something?
- Hello! Are you the one who did all this clocks? - asks Usagi, deducing that seeing the way she was dressed.
- Yes, I am. Hope you like my work. I put all my heart in my work.
- You really did a good work in here. I wanna buy one of your beautiful clocks. Where can I find the cheaper ones?
- Over that table Ive my best promotions - she points to a table in particular.
Usagi and Ami go see those clocks, and Usagi looks to one alarm clock in particular with a black cats form.
- Hey! This one looks like my cat Luna. And is very cheaper - she says with surprise - I wanna take this. Let me see? - she says, changing suddently of humor when she sees her wallet completely empty - Oh, no! I already spend my entire allowance. What Im gonna do now? Like this Im gonna be late for school tomorrow - she says with her eyes filled with tears. She didnt notice that the maker was next to her, seeing her scene and without reaction.
Then Ami touches her shoulder gently.
- Dont worry. Ill pick you up at home by morning.
Usagi hugs her suddently.
- Thank you very much. Youre a good friend.
- That will not be necessary anymore.
Both Usagi and Ami turn their look in the direction where it came that voice. They see Mamoru handing money to the clocks´s maker and receiving two alarm clocks from her. Then he turns to the girls.
- Take! - he says, giving to Usagi the alarm clock that looked like Luna - Both of us don´t want "our" Odango Atama to be late for classes, right?
- Very funny! - she shows her tongue - What are you doing here? - she asks next, accepting the alarm clock.
- I came to buy an alarm clock to Motoki because he couldn´t come. He needs one now that the alarms from cellphones aren´t working - he explains - And I heard your conversation with the seller - he adds.
- But I didn´t need you to buy one for me.
- For what I heard, is pretty clear the otherwise.
At that point, Usagi knew it was time to present him to Ami.
- Ami, this is Mamoru. My tutor!
- Hello! - she says, simply.
- Hi, Ami. Is our Odango Atama here giving you a lot of work? - he asks, rubbing Usagi´s head - In my case I´ve a lot of work with her.
- Why you...! - protests Usagi, hearing him talking in his usual serious way, but clearly making fun of her. She wanted to rise up but he was still rubbing her head.
- No... No... She doen´t - assures Ami a little embarassed.
- You´ll see. Being with Odango Atama is like being in another reality - he continues - Today was your turn. Mine will be for next week - he says, walking away from there. He stops halfway and turns to them, still being close to their spot - Don´t forget our class for next week, Odango Atama. I´ve a new challenge for you.
- Don´t worry. I´m ready for that - she accepts, showing her tongue.
He walks away and Ami starts laughing lightly.
- He is always making fun of me, but I´m already used to it - says Usagi.
- But I see he is your friend.
- Yes, he is - she afirms with a brief smile - But lets continue our journey by here. We still have many things to see and now I´m even more relieved since I´ve a new alarm clock - she says, guiding Ami by her hand again.
Usagi returned home after dinner. She was not worried about that because she let her parents know that she would be out with Ami until after dinner. She had almost to beg to her mother to be out of home until so late, but in the end she could convince her.
Then she went to her room, dressed her pyjamas and prepared her alarm clock for the next day. Luna was next to her seeing everything.
- What? What part of that clock looks like me? I´m much more beautiful and funny than that - protests Luna.
- Come on, Luna. Why all that vanity? - she says, leaving the clock over her table - Its ready. I´m safe for school tomorrow. Ami will pick me up by morning anyway, so I don´t need to worry about anything anyway.
- I don´t accept this. This clock has a very sinister look and I´m not sinister. You´ve to admit that I don´t look nothing at all like that.
- Come on, Luna. Thats not important. I´ve to go sleep now. Good night! - she says, lying down and covering herself with blankets.
Luna went to sleep next to her, still not happy with that comparision between her and the clock.
A few hours have passed and a blue light comes out from the clock, and points to Usagi. Luna wakes up due to the light and stays looking at it with suspicion. She didn´t see that that clock was influencing all the clocks by the house, but what she was seeing in Usagi´s room was enough to let her feel uncomfortable.
- What is happening here? - she asks to herself.
In the next morning, Usagi opens her eyes at the sound of the alarm clock and gets surprised when she sees it showing the 8h00am.
- WHAT? - she screams in panick - OH NO! I´M LATE!
Luna jumps from her bed with her scream and looks at her confused.
Usagi moves around the house like a hurricane, dressing herself, brushing her teeth, and doing everyhing else. Then she runs to the kitchen and grabs her lunch that was over the table.
- Mom! Why you didn´t wake me up if you saw that was almost time for school?
- I´m tired of calling you, but you´re begging all the time for a few more minutes - says her mother, doing her kitchen tasks and running all the time - Anyway, you had an alarm clock. You had everything to wake up in time.
- I didn´t put the right time and now I´m late - she protests - I´ve to go. See ya!
She runs from home and Luna sees her closing the door.
- But she put the right hour in the alarm clock! - says Luna to herself - How can this be possible?
Leaving home, Usagi passes by Ami without seeing her. She was arriving calmly to Usagi´s house and gets surprised when she sees her running from there.
- Usagi! Where are you going? - she asks but is not listened.
Arriving to school, Usagi runs to her class. When she arrives there, she sees her teacher walking around with impatience and just a few of her classemates in there.
- This is inadmissible. Everyone is arriving late and I don´t have the whole day to wait for you - complains their teacher, looking to her watch.
- Im tired of waiting for everybody - says Naru, getting up - This is a waist of my time and I´ve a lot of things to do.
- Thats right - agrees Usagi, looking to her watch - Is already 9am and nobody else is here. I´m not gonna wait here the hole day.
- I don´t have to pay for everyone´s irresponsability - says their teacher, grabbing her things - I can´t stay here waiting for everybody. I´ve many things to do today and you can study alone. See you tomorrow - she says, leaving from her classroom.
- And I´ll leave now too. This is a waist of my time - she says, running from there and knowing that her classemates were preparing to do the same thing.
Meanwhile, in the clocks´s store, Zoicite was next to the clocks maker and looking to the big pendulum clock she had in the room. They could see it was keeping the energy that was being stollen from everybody who was using her clocks. It was the result of the hurry and stress that the clocks were causing on everyone.
- My grandfather gave me this old big clock. It was useless for a long time and now I´m glad I found a good using for it - she says with her arms crossed.
- Good! It will also be very usefull in case our enemies appear and try to defeat us. In case that happens, you know what you´ve to do - says Zoicite, disappearing immediately.
- Yes, Zoicite - agrees the maker, right after he disappears.
Ami was walking by the street and seeing everyone running and all the stores opening faster.
- But what is happening? Why are all the stores opening so soon? - she asks to herself.
- Ami! - she hears. She looks back and sees Luna running to her. When she stops in front of her, she could see she had Usagi´s clock on her back - Finally I found you.
- Luna, why is everybody with so hurry? And why did Usagi went to school so soon?
- I think it has something to do with this clock. May you check it for me?
- Yes, of course.
They go to the park, where they were alone.
- Well! Lets start!
- Wait. Let me give you something first.
Luna makes a looping in the air and makes appear a small computer in the air.
- This is for you. I believe you´re the right person to use it. You can use to analyse things.
- Thank you very much, Luna.
Ami grabs it and starts pressing its buttons. Then she passes its scanner by the clock.
- For what I see, I don´t see any tool or mechanism inside of this clock. But Its saying here it is funcional.
- Lets open it.
Ami takes the cover from the clock and they are surprised by a blue light that comes out from it and disappears in the sky.
- What was that?
- Ami, look! - says Luna, looking to inside of the clock.
- Its empty. How can this be possible?
- I don´t know, but I´ve the feeling that that light was what was controlling this clock and that is not normal. We need to check the store where you bought this thing.
The suspicious of Luna, create another suspicious in Ami and she decides to use that computer again.
- What are you doing, Ami? - asks Luna.
- I know you´re thinking that the enemy is behind of this. And now I remembered that the alarms from the cellphones are not working either for several hours and I can´t stop thinking there is a connection with all of this - she says, pression those buttons a bit longer - I can detect a weird magnetic field in the air. I believe is this that is causing problems in our cellphones - she continues, getting up with the pc in her hands - This magnetic field is coming from that point, where is located the clocks store.
- Well done, Ami. You´re a genius! - says Luna - Lets check that store now.
Both run from there until they arrive to the clocks store.
- Its coming from here definitely - confirms Ami.
- I see! The enemy is blocking the alarms of cellphones to make everyone buy these clocks and to stole their energy. We need to call Usagi! - decides Luna.
Usagi runs by the street in panick just like everyone.
- GET OUT OF MY WAY! I WANNA GO HOME AND YOU´RE HOLDING ME BACK. DO YOU THINK I´VE TIME TO BE HERE LOOKING FOR YOU? - she yells to everyone around - I´VE MY SAILOR V GAME TO FINISH. AND I´VE MY FAVORITE CAKE AT HOME WAITING FOR ME. NOBODY WILL STOP ME OF THAT. DO YOU THINK YOU ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THAT?
She was about to cross the road when a truck passes in front of her, just a few centimeters of touching her, and she falls back screaming because of the scare.
- LOOK WHERE YOU´RE GOING! - she yells to the truck, still seated in the floor. Then she sees in front of her, like she didn´t see it before, everyone running to everywhere, crossing the streets just like that, cars running into each other and their drivers yelling with each other... And finally thinking in what she was doing and that it wasn´t normal.
She takes a deep breath and says to herself with firmness:
- The enemy is behind of this!
Then she hears her cellphone and answers it, seeing it was Ami.
- Yes, Ami?
- Usagi, the enemy is stealing everyone´s energy with these clocks and they are hidded in the clocks store.
- Thank you, Ami! I´m going right there.
When Usagi arrives, she stops right in front of the store.
- So the enemy is hidded here. I´m gonna smash them... - she says, about to kick the door.
- Usagi, wait! Come here - says Luna from the alley where she and Ami were hidded. Usagi runs to them - If you act with all that crazyness, they´ll notice that we´re watching them.
- And what? We just need to get in by that door and finish with them.
- I see you are completely over the control of the enemy.
- Usagi, wait a second - says Ami, touching her shoulder - Let me do something first.
Ami opens her small pc and uses its scanner again.
- I can see the energy from everyone being sucked by the big clock of that room. And there is someone in front of it. But is weird because is emanating a blue and cold energy. Not a red and warm energy like it is normal from humans.
- Probably because she is a demon - says Usagi - Is time to fight. Come on, Ami! Lets transform!
- Wait a second, Usagi. Maybe the enemy is in there waiting for us already.
- And what? Probably that place is already full of traps. We can´t think about it now. Lets go! - she insists with the same euphoria.
Both Ami and Luna didn´t know what to say either and they knew it was already time to act.
- Very well! Lets go! - says Ami.
- MOON PRISM POWER! MAKE UP!
- MERCURY POWER! MAKE UP!
After the transformation they both run to the front door of the store. Then Usagi touches her tiara.
- "MOON TIARA ACTON!"
That opens a hole in the front door and they run by it. Unfortunattely the hole closes again and Luna smashes her face on the door before she could reach her partners.
- I can´t believe this! - she protests, lied in the floor.
Arriving to the selling area, Moon and Mercury find out the maker in there, looking to the big clock. She looks to them when she hears them.
- Taking advantage of everyone´s time, and turning that from responsability to frustration and stress to steal their energy... Thats something horrible and unforgivable, and I´ll not allow you to follow with your plan - says Sailor Moon - I´m Sailor Moon, the Sailor of Love and Justice.
- And I´m Sailor Mercury. The Sailor of Love and Knowledge.
- In the name of the Moon, we´ll punish you - both say.
The watch in the Maker´s wrist shines and projects a figure in the middle of the room. It shows its horrible demon figure and the maker faints right after that.
- Gosh! I´m tired seeing you using everyone as targets for your plans - protests Sailor Moon, understanding that they have possessed that middle-aged woman - I´ll not forgive you for that.
- Do you think I wasn´t prepared in case you showed up? - says the demon, snapping her fingers. A light comes out from the clock´s pendulum door, showing another dimension - Come get me, Sailors. I wanna see how you´ll survive my traps - she says, disappearing inside of that dimension.
- You´ll not escape - says Sailor Moon, running after her, and being followed by Mercury.
Mamoru arrives to the Game Center, also confused with the weird situation out there, seeing everyone running and stressing. He doesn´t see Motoki in the counter, but then he notices him next to the game machines, and running from one to another.
- Motoki, what are you doing?
- I need to check if all my machines are working - he says frenetically, always looking to his watch - Oh, my God! Is so late. Soon the Game Center will be full of clients and I need to check if all my machines are working. Nothing can fail.
Then he runs to another machine over the confused look of Mamoru. From that point, Mamoru could see over the counter the alarm clock that he gave to Motoki and he understands immediately what was happening. He runs to the counter, grabs the clock and throws it against the all. It breaks completely. Then he sees Motoki fainting and runs to him.
- Hey! Are you alright? - he asks, shaking him by his shoulders.
Motoki opens slowly his eyes and sits slowly on the floor.
- Gosh! What happened? - he asks, touching his forehead.
Mamoru helps him to walk until the backstore and then he sits down in a chair.
- Feeling better?
- More or less. I feel so weak. I don´t understand. How could all this crazyness stop when you broke the clock?
That word made Mamoru remember of another dangerous situation.
- I´ve to go somewhere. Can you be alone for sometime?
- Yes... Don´t worry about me. I´m starting getting better - he assures him.
Mamoru runs from the Game Center, pressing Usagi´s phone number.
- Come on, "Usako". Answer me - he insists, always thinking in the alarm clock he gave her. Since she wasn´t answering, he could remember of only one point to act and runs to there.
As soon Sailor Moon and Mercury get in in that distorted dimention, the door behind them closes immediately. Then they see they were in an empty space without walls, and full of doors.
- Now you´re trapped here and you have to find a way to survive - they hear the demon´s voice.
- We are going to find you and finish with you. We know you´re behind of one of these doors. It will not be hard to find you - says Sailor Moon.
She starts walking and Ami follows her.
- Sailor Moon, wait - asks Mercury.
Then she opens a door with a kick and Mercury deviates her right before the sword strikes her.
- Oh, my gosh. Thank you for saving me, Ami!
- Thats ok. But we need to be very careful with this place. I think this is a labyrinth full of traps - she says, touching in one of her earrings. A screen that looked like glasses covered both her eyes.
Then she takes her "pc" and presses its buttons.
- Like I thought. There is a trap behind of each one of these doors.
- So how are we gonna find that demon?
- I´ve an idea.
Mercury starts walking and Sailor Moon follows her.
- I´m following the cold trace of energy that the demon left.
- Thats brilliant, Ami.
Meanwhile Tuxedo Kamen appears from one of the highest windows of the store and jumps to the front of the big clock. In there he sees the clocks´s maker lied in the floor and checks her pulse. He feels a big relief seeing that she was alive. Then he looks to the pendulum door and sees the other reality where were Sailor Moon and Mercury.
Both run until a door in particular and they stop in front of it.
- She is here. I´m sure of it - she says, seeing Sailor Moon behind of her and quiet - Aren´t you going?
- I see you´re still analysing everything. I´m gonna trust you to finish that before I act.
Mercury smiles to her and keeps working. Then she stops working and takes her "glasses".
- I think is better if we do this... - she suggests into her ear and Sailor Moon agrees with her.
They stood quiet at each side of the door. Then Mercury opens the door from her side and they see the demon projecting herself with her spear, ready to attack them. But then she stops in the air when she notices they weren´t in front of the door like it was supposed.
- Now, Sailor Moon! - says Mercury.
Sailor Moon touches her tiara.
- "MOON TIARA ACTION!" - and the demon disappears into dust.
- WE MADE IT! - jumps Sailor Moon with euphoria, and Ami smiles, sharing the feeling of that victory. But suddently, Sailor Moon falls on her knees - What is happening? I can´t get up. I´m so weak.
- Sailor Moon. Hold in there! - begs Mercury, touching her shoulders.
They hear a male voice laughing and then Zoicite appears in front of them, smiling with malice and victory.
- Even if you killed my demon her clocks are still working and stealing everyone´s energy to the big clock - he explains - Soon you´ll lose your energy too and you´ll die, Sailor Moon.
Then he snaps his fingers and levitates Mercury from the floor.
- Oh no! I can´t move - she struggles to say, feeling she was tied.
- Thats an invisible magnetic rope that is tieing you in the air. I already saw that you´re not over the effect of the clocks, and thats why I can´t steal your energy. But you´ll see your friend die first and then I´ll find a solution for you - he says without mercy.
Seeing everything, Tuxedo Kamen throws a rose to the clock and breaks its glass, knowing now that was in there where they were keeping everyone´s energy.
Sailor Moon feels her energy returning to her and starts getting up.
- No way! You´ll not gonna win! - protests Zoicite, throwing her a bomb of energy.
Sailor Moon feels being caught in the air and she sees herself in Tuxedo Kamen´s arms.
- Oh, Tuxedo Kamen. Thank you so much! - she says hugging him. Then, still in his arms, she immediately takes advantage of the few energy she could recover in that moment and throws her tiara to Zoicite.
He could avoid that hit, but that caused him to lose concentration enough to free Mercury from the magnetic rope. She sees that Zoicite was about to attack her and she knew what she had to do.
"SHABON SPRAY"! - Mercury spreads her fog by everywhere.
- Where are you Sailors? I can´t see nothing - protests Zoicite.
- I´m here! - he hears Mercury´s voice and sees her silluette from where it was coming.
- DAMN YOU! - he yells, throwing her a bom of energy.
Mercury managed to deviate herself and Zoicite´s bomb breaks the time door that was behind of Mercury. He couldn´t describe the horrible pain he felt of being stabbed by all those knifes that were thrown from that door.
The fog starts disappearing and since Mercury was close to him, she is the first to see how her plan worked. However she didn´t expect the result to be so horrible to see and she sees him falling on his knees in a puddle of blood. Then she sees the deadly look he throws her.
- You´ll pay for this! - he says with a mix of hate and agony, and uses his few strengh to leave from there.
Then the fog disappears completely and Sailor Moon and Sailor Mercury can see each other. Then Sailor Moon asks gently to Tuxedo Kamen to put her down.
- Are you sure you´re alright? You lost a lot of energy - he asks softly.
- I´ve recovered a lot of energy now. Don´t worry about me - she says, touching gently his cheek.
He trusts her words and puts her down with kindness.
- I´m glad you´re alright! I´ve to go now. Keep the good work, Sailors!
He runs from that place and Sailor Moon sees him leaving with a smile. Then she runs to Sailor Mercury and hugs her.
- WE DID IT! WE DID IT! - both jump again with victory, knowing that now was for good.
Then they run to the outside and they see Luna in there waiting for them. She sees that they could defeat the enemy and she was overjoy with that.
- Hey, girls. I´m so happy you did it!
She runs to them and they both hug Luna with joy.
The generals were looking to Zoicite who was lied in his transparent coffin, and with his belly covered with bandages.
- When do you think he will recovered? - asks Nefrite.
- His wounds are to much serious. We can´t count with him in the next few days - answers Nefrite.
- We can´t talk with Queen Beryl about what happened today. Its even better that she doesn´t know that we can´t count with Zoicite for now - decides Kunzite.
Usagi, Ami and Luna were seated in the park. While Usagi was stretching herself all the time, Ami was reading a magazine.
- Gosh! All that running and stress left me really exausted. I don´t wanna talk about speed for a long time.
- Hey, Usagi! Isn´t this your favorite cake shop? - asks Ami, pointing to an article in that magazine - Is saying here that they are selling a new cake today.
- Really? I need to try that cake. But... - she pauses to look to her watch - Is about to close in ten minutes. I can´t miss this opportunity.
Usagi runs from there, leaving a trail of dust behind of her. Ami and Luna had to spread all that dust from their face because they weren´t seeing anything.
- You shouldn´t have said that, Ami! - says Luna - She has some invisible "buttons" of overjoy and food is certain one of them.
- I can see that - agrees Ami, looking simply to the place where Usagi disappeared.
