Chapter 19 Kisses and cuddles

My mum brushes my hair while singing her favourite Ed Sheeran song, I sing along Ed Sheeran is okay, I guess. James and sit at the table eating breakfast while pushing and shoving each other and calling each other bad words. Mum and I roll our eyes "boys, I tell you "She mutters. " Really, you two need to start acting your own age. you're not five anymore" she said crossly, they stopped and finished eating in silence.
James
"Man can you believe it, this year my teacher is going to be so pissed at me" I say, mouth full of food "oh you fool what did you do this time?" Albus asked "I wish I could tell you, but there's ladies in the room" I winked. "Right, Lily, Albus are you ready?" they both looked up at me and they nodded. "Well, come on or we'll miss it".
"Alright, I'm coming chill out" snarled Albus.
"Wait for me!" lily called out after us, fixing her shoelaces.

"James where are we going?" Lily asked James, but he doesn't reply until I throw a rock at the back of his head "bro, where are we going?" he turned to face me and lily James simply says, "we're going to see dad duh" Lily claps her hands and sings "we're going on a wolf hunt, and we're going to keep the pups".
I run to keep up with James but he's too fast "James" I puff "you know we can't see him."
"So?" James says, crossing the road.
"So, because mum said we couldn't remember?"
"Albus, you're such a mummy's boy, and I don't give a fuck what she says. "
Our dad was on the quidditch field talking to some of his teammates, holding a picnic basket lily was the first to run up to him and give him kisses and cuddles. "Hey, troublemakers I haven't seen you guys in ages!" lily squeezes dad even tighter "oh, okay lily you're hurting me" dad wheezed. "Lily, let dad go" James tried to pull her off dad and she let go, putting on a sad face, James and I gave our dad hugs and sat down on the grass enjoying the sunshine and ate.
Lily
I'm happy to see dad again I feel like he's changed, but sadly he hasn't Albus and James are giving each other the silent treatment. "Mmm, dad these are really good, did you make these?" I asked licking my lips. "Well, actually..." he bites his lips, dad always does that when he really wants to tell us something but can't. "Well, did you make them or not?" James asks impolitely "my boyfriend and I made them" the three of us drop our food.
Did he just say that he had a boyfriend?

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!" I screeched the whole team turned their heads around and stared at us "Shush, please Albus you're making a scene" dad says. Lily tapped dad's shoulder "Yes, Lily?" he asked "I have a question" dad sighed "Shoot". " What is it called when two like each other?" dad blushes "You see-".
"Gay, lily it's called gay" James cuts in the conversation, lily tilted her head in confusion "but how can two guys have sex?".
"Okay, lily that's enough now-" dad started.
"it's easy, two guys can have sex like normal people ".
"But how when they don't have lady parts?"
"Easy, they lube up their di- "
Dad roughly knocked me to the ground "don't you dare".
"That's it! I can't take it anymore I'm out" I sat up from the ground and left, "Albus don't go " dad sighed.
I had to do the right thing by telling mum.
James
"Well, that was dramatic" I said while chewing on these delicious bagels.
"Hey, dad?"
"Yes James?"
"Are you ok?"
"Yes, I'm fine speaking of dramatic I need to check on him to see if he hasn't thrown up all over the place".
"What do you mean? Is your boyfriend pregnant or something?"
Dad bites his lip again "way to go dad!" he shakes his head "alright, time for you two to go home back to your mum".
"Awwwwwww" lily and I both whine.
"Now"
Lily and I give dad one last hug before we go, that was probably the last time we'll ever see him.
