Waking up at 6:30 am, an hour before she was used to waking up was quite hard and she didn't manage to get into the bathroom 6:35, it was more like 6:50 am. But as she was going to be exercising in the morning, she decided to shower after that.

When she was ready for going to the gym, that was located in the basement of their building, she was surprised that Klaus who was accompanying her, was also dressed for training.

"Good morning, Caroline. Is there something on your mind?" He asked as they waited for the elevator.

"I just thought you would stare at me the whole time I was training. So you are going to exercise yourself too?"

"Of course, I wouldn't want to make you uncomfortable." He said while they got into the elevator.

Immediately after the doors had closed, he moved closer to her and asked, "Are you okay, love? Was he very rough with you?"

"I'm fine, if I wasn't a vampire, I would have a black eye today, that's all."

Klaus' eyes got dark for a minute but he relaxed when she smiled at him and they got out of the elevator. In the gym he started pumping his muscles while she chose the treadmill.

At 7:40 she told him that they should go back as she wanted to shower before breakfast which they did.

After showering they ate breakfast.

"So Caroline, I'm away with Elijah the whole day, but I'll be coming to teach you something. Please decide by that time what it's going to-"

"I want to learn Spanish." She blurted out.

Klaus looked at Elijah for a moment and then agreed, "Alright, I'm fluent in Spanish so that will do."

They also agreed that book reading should start with Gogol's short stories that she already has and she wasn't sure what she wanted to study during study time, but promised to figure it out fast.

After breakfast, Elijah introduced Caroline to two of his vampires whose names were Richard and Maddox and he told her that they would be watch her whenever Klaus and Elijah both were out.

She later found out that the vampires weren't really talkative. They just stood there close to the elevator and acted like they weren't watching and staring her.

During study time, she checked different internet courses. She wanted do take event planning course but as she wasn't really allowed to go anywhere, she decided her work should be something she can do at home. So she chose digital marketing. And texted Elijah if he would endorse it. In 5 minutes she got a text with thumb up smile and he registered to one course that was quite thorough. The online lessons were suppose to be starting in 5 days and Elijah told her to in the meantime to learn about it from the Internet as much as possible. Which is what she spent doing and was quite lost in in when suddenly the elevator doors opened and Klaus come home for lunch.

"So digital marketing, love? That's quite a good idea, something you can do mostly at home."

"I thought so to, as it's really getting more important with social media getting to be more and more used every day."

"Why are you sitting in dining room, and not in the study? You'd be more comfortable there?"

"Oh it so dark and depressing in there. I rather use dining room table but I'll move my stuff away as I know Maria is ready with lunch."

"I also want fresh blood today, so a girl is coming over to give us that. Join me, would you?" He asked smiling.

"Sure, if you're having home delivery, how can I say no." She smiled at him but remembered that she shouldn't be too friendly with him.

So at first Maria brought them casserole for lunch and then a dark skinned girl appeared and Klaus cut in her wrists and let the blood fall to two glasses. After it was done, he healed her, compelled her and told her that the money was on her account already. With that she left and they enjoyed their blood.

"So how's your day been?"

"Like you don't know already. Totally uneventful and boring."

"So digital marketing is boring?"

"No, it's just that sitting at home and nothing exciting happening, it's boring."

"Klaus leaned closer to her and asked, "And what would excite you, Caroline?"

She felt herself blush as she understood how wrong it was to use that word around Klaus.

"Nothing, forget it." She told him.

"Okay, let's move on to Spanish learning and let's take it to the living room and we'll let Maria clean the table."

"Okay," She said although she didn't want to be on the couch with him.

They sat on the couch with a perfect distance between them. Not too close and not to far either. He brought some material from his bedroom and said, "Let's start with Basics of Grammar and vocabulary learning. Here is the list of words you have to learn by heart tomorrow." He gave her a sheet with 50 words and phrases.

"Homework? When am I suppose to learn all that, when I'm on a strict schedule?"

"It's not that strict. There's 5 minutes here and there. I'm also sending it through email, so you can save it to your phone and learn it there, but I suggest learning them from paper, it works better that way."

"Yes, sir."

"Caroline," he groaned.

"What?" She asked playing dumb.

He edged closer to her and started playing with a strand of her hair.

"I'm mad about you. I can't think about anything else than you. Let alone teaching Spanish."

"Klaus, Maria!?"

"Has been taken care of. She hears or sees anything, she is compelled to forget it and not to say anything to Elijah."

"Still… It's not a good idea for us to start again."

"I totally disagree, love." He said and moved even closer to her and leaned in to kiss her for a moment on the lips before continuing to trail kisses down her neck. And she let him, cause she didn't have strength to push him away from her. Then he was on top of her and was kissing her and touching her everywhere. Then his phone buzzed and he was on his feet like she had just stung him.

"Elijah is at home, so act normal. About 2 minutes til he's up."

Klaus sat in the armchair while Caroline fixed herself and picked up the word sheet and pretended to be studying it, when the doors opened and Elijah walked in.

"So how's it going? The Spanish learning."

"I already have homework so It's going somewhere."

"Good. You can use the tomorrow's study time to do it. But tomorrow there's gonna be a dinner, just you and I with the deputy mayor."

"That old man. Ugh. He better behave, cause I can't take him groping me."

"If he wants to grope you a little, you let him as usually. Understood?"

Caroline wasn't the only one to make faces. Klaus seemed rather uneasy himself.

"Yes, Elijah." Caroline said to her husband.

"Klaus join me in the study."

"I'm suppose to be teaching her?"

"It won't take long."

The rest of the day was spent according to schedule and nothing worth mentioning happened. Klaus didn't have time to escort her to a evening exercise, so Maddox and Richard did and she was a little uncomfortable training while they stared at her ass all that time.

In the evening when she was suppose to be write in the journal, as she couldn't write about Klaus, she didn't feel like anything worth mentioning happened that day. So she just doodled in it a little.

And in the free time she put her ear plugs on and laid down on the bed and listened to some Spotify. During that time, as her brain was fried, she felt like dancing and fooling around so she did that for some time and at one time she turned toward the door and nearly got an heart attack when she found Klaus leaning on the door frame and grinning from ear to ear.

She took the plug off and said, "Klaus. Would you mind? It's my free time."

"Yeah, I know, I just came to give you this," He said laughing and with that he handed her the next day's schedule.

She looked it over and said, "Basically everything is like today, except for the dinner with the deputy mayor…Wait, it says here that you are to babysit me the whole day?"

"Yes, and I'm looking forward to it. I so want to spend time teaching you stuff."

Caroline felt herself blush. She wanted to say so much but Elijah was at home, so she just said. "Good night, Klaus."

"Good night, Caroline."

The next day it was in the air the from the start. Her and Klaus. The way he smiled at her in the morning when they went to the gym, how he was more polite then usually. Even during the breakfast, before she could tell him to hand her something, he already did it. When Elijah was turning to leave, she kept sitting at the dining table and checked her emails. And as soon a Klaus got a confirmation from downstairs that Elijah had actually left, she froze when she felt his hands hugging her from behind and his lips started doing miraculous things on her neck.

"Klaus, please."

"Please, what?" He murmured.

"Please don't ruin your relationship with your brother for this."

"I'm not planning to, but if it happens, then it happens. So is it your bedroom or mine?" He asked whispering in her ear seductively.

'Oh, god, give me strength.' Caroline thought to herself before answering simply, "Mine."

'Wait, did I just say that?'

But Klaus didn't need more as he picked her up and carried her to the master bedroom and laid her down on the bed.

Instantly he was on top of her, kissing her and started to undress her.

"What about Elijah?"

"He's out of town today, comes back just before your dinner." He said in between kissing her.

"Oh," is all she can say at the thought of spending the whole day in bed with Klaus both terrified and excited her.

Luckily for her, she wore sweats that were easy to remove. When Klaus got his jeans and shirt off, she was ready for him and he was ready for her. He wanted to prolong the pleasure they were about to have, so he first touched her with his fingers but she wasn't having it for long, she moaned "Klaus, I need you now."

He smiled mischievously and slowly entered her. Their first time was very passionate and they both did cum very quickly as it had been building for quite awhile between them.

When he collapsed next to her and pulled her in his arms.

"How did it feel after three years of celibacy?" He asked her.

"Oh shut up, won't you." She told him and he grinned.

Just then Maria had started vacuuming like she had been waiting for them to finish and they both laughed at that.

5 minutes later, Caroline suddenly tells him, "I think we should get dressed, as I'm suppose to be studying right now."

Klaus turned himself on his elbow and said while trailing his fingers along the curves of her body, "Oh, don't worry about that, he's not gonna know if and what you have studied."

"Are you sure, maybe he's going to check?"

"He won't. I know my brother putting you through those things, all those schedules and rules, is coming from his anger, he really doesn't like to check on you like you were his child."

"But he could put somebody else up to it?"

"Yeah, me," He grinned.

"What?"

"I am reporting everything to him that you do here and you know I'm the best lier in the world. He's gonna eat up everything I tell him. But to ease your worries, you should know going forward, that you are a slow learner. Just in case he does decide to check something."

Caroline hit him on the shoulder, "Slow learner my ass, I was a straight A student at my school. Yes, it was not the best school in New York by far, but it was something."

"I know, you are a quick study, but I think he doesn't see you like that, so I believe he will buy it."

"I bet, knowing how you can sell it."

"Yes, you should learn marketing from me, sweetheart." He smiled and kissed her.

"Not a chance. I'm going to get dressed and study, I'm highly motivated." She started to leave the bed when he gently grabbed her arm.

"Don't go, I just got you, I'm not done with you." He said trailing kisses up and down her arm.

"Okay, I'll stay, but just for a little while," she told him and he pulled her back on the bed and climbed on top of her and started kissing her again.

They didn't get out of bed before it was time to study Spanish.

"Okay, so I'm gonna check you 50 words now, if they are learned by heart." Klaus said as he had sat down on the armchair and Caroline on the couch.

"Um, Klaus, when was I suppose to learned them?"

"I'm just joking okay. Lets get to the grammar study. Here, this is the basics of it. Learn it by the end of the week," he said giving her the Grammar Outline sheet.

"Yeah, if I can get anything done between Elijah's tight schedule and your….whatever we have going on here," she said motioning between them.

"So what is going on between us?" Caroline asked.

"What do you mean, sweetheart?" He asked looking intently at her.

"Are we lovers now? In a sense that I'm cheating on Elijah and you betraying him?"

"Caroline-"

"No, I just want to know what is the plan? Cause I can't risk it like that for long?"

"I know. But I need you to do it a little longer. When we go, I want to disappear like we have just dropped off the face of the earth. For all our old friends, family, acquaintances and so on. And that takes a little planning. Besides, If I told you to run today, would you be able to leave your best friends and your family behind right now?"

"If, you mean my mom and my kid sister, then Elijah doesn't allow me to see them anyway, so I've already lost them."

"Yeah, I know, something about your mother not approving the marriage`?"

"Oh no, she did, maybe a little too much. She was too invested in the money part. Until Elijah and I had everything alright in our marriage, she live like a millionaire, but after we… after everything happened he forbid me talking to her and of course she was thrown out of the apartment she lived in with my sister and they were basically thrown in the streets."

"So you don't know where they are right now?"

Caroline just shook her head.

And Klaus just nodded, looking at the Spanish materials. But looking at him, Caroline suddenly realised that Klaus did.

"But you do. You know where and how they both are, don't you?"

"Look, I don't want to upset you…"

"You upset me if you don't tell me!"

After a little pause, he revealed that her sister had been living in foster care for two years now.

"Your mother has been addicted to drugs, specifically heroin, and to get the money for it…"

Caroline had already tears streaming down her face, "go on?"

"…she has been stealing money and other valuables and she's also been known to sometimes work as a prostitute."

Caroline just stared at him a second wide eyed, before flashing to her bedroom and closing and locking her bedroom and breaking down in tears behind it.

Her reaction to lock herself in the bedroom to cry, surprised him a little at first, but then he flashed to her bedroom door.

"Caroline?"

"Go away, Klaus."

Just then elevator doors opened and Elijah came out of it.

"What's going on here?" He asked Klaus.

Just then before the brothers understood what was going on, Caroline flashed out of it to where Elijah was and started hitting him with one of his metal trophies. Elijah meekly tried to resist but it was Klaus who pulled her away from him, for her own good of course as she was no match for the strongest Original.

"LET ME GO, KLAUS! If he kills me, at least this nightmare is over."

"Calm down, Caroline, you didn't let me finish." Klaus told her as he was holding her by her waist while she tried with all her strength to get free. "Your mother will be alright and your sister is already living like a princess."

"Oh, so this is what it's about," Elijah mused as he went to get himself a drink.

Caroline stopped struggling and Klaus slowly let her go.

"What are you talking about, Klaus," Caroline asked as she scornfully looked at Elijah's direction.

"I compelled your sister the best adoptive parents who were looking to adopt. They are quite rich and she's now living in LA, in Beverly Hills."

"And my mother?" She asked more calmly now but eyeing Elijah with all the hate she could muster.

"She refused my help at first, thought it be a trick of some sorts. But learning how well your sister is doing, she now is in the best rehab facility that money can get."

"Really? You are not just saying that?" She said with a real relief reflected in her eyes.

"Really, Caroline." He said smiling.

Caroline just fell into his arms for a few second and then when Elijah started talking, they pulled apart.

"yeah, yeah, what a hero you are, brother, pulling the scum out of natural habitat."

Caroline started to go for him again, but this time Klaus in front of her to hold her back.

"Caroline, he isn't worth it. Besides don't you have a dinner to get ready for."

"if you think I'm going anywhere with this SOB then you're greatly mistaken, Klaus."

"You will come with me to this dinner or so help me god, I will drag you there by your hair!" Elijah threatened her.

Caroline just scoffed but left them alone and went to get ready.
