Pat's (Lucky's Dad) Comment
Bandit I swear you are one of the most amazing dogs in the world. Just reading this entire thing I couldn't help but tear up to how beautiful it is. I've never once heard you express yourself like this and just after reading I cannot help but respect you even more now than ever. I really do miss you a lot right now. It isn't the same without you next door playing whatever games your pups come up with and you commit to the bit and it never fails to put a smile on my face or make me chuckle seeing it. I just love how silly and goofy you get with them and that's a huge thing that I love and respect about you. I myself also have fun getting involved with whatever antics they come up with no matter how crazy it can get sometimes. You inspire me to get silly and goofy with my own pups and we all have so much fun doing it. It really creates amazing memories for us to look back on when it happens. I once caught Bluey and Bingo sitting outside with sad looks on their faces and I went to ask them what was wrong and they said they missed you very much and even started to cry and I must admit that I myself even started tearing up witnessing that. I got an idea as to how they really love you with a passion and it makes me happy knowing you have such an amazing family that loves you very much just like I have one. I cannot even bear the thought of being away from my family for as long as you're gone on this trip, but I understand that it's probably actually healthy to experience this so you can really know how important family and friends are to you. I have my flaws too as a dog and that I'm not perfect especially with those titles but I know that's ok because none of us are. No matter how many times we mess up, we own up to it, learn from it, and continue to move ahead no matter how hard it is because family is everything. Something you should know is that you're like a brother to me. I love and respect you like you're my brother and no matter how much we joke around, always know that it is never my intention to hurt you in any way, shape, or form. Thank you for being you and being my best friend and helping me grow into being a better dog myself. I can't wait to see you soon and let's do what we love once you get back. Stay strong mate and enjoy your trip.
Best friends are like siblings to us and they're always there in our hard times and I can really imagine that Pat must miss Bandit too on his trip. If the Heelers were my neighbors I'd love to get involved with their fun and games no matter how crazy it might get. It really does create fun memories and it's always great to have neighbors that make you feel welcome especially.
