Fantasy Blitzkrieg: Trans-Dimensional Blitzkrieg Chapter 1
Countdown to the New Lightning War

Date: August 9th, HS 2070
Location: GUF Headquarters/Hakurei Shrine, Historia Gensokyo

"I didn't expect Yasei and the others to actually use that tree as a signal to proceed with this operation..." Reimu sighs as she checks her weapons: Two Mk.99 Yin-Yang Rifles (Yin-Yang Rifle "Heaven" and Bewitching Needle Rifle "Dragon Execution") created by Marisa back in early 2011, Hakurei Goujian created by Shuu in 2020, and her trusted gohei provided by Rinnosuke since the Millennium Dawn.

"I think he just wants to make sure those three aren't affected too much after the war at the Third Area." Yukari replies. "I'm sure he'd rather let them stay in Gensokyo than to experience another war like back in 2055 to 2060."

"And Miyu is the one affected the most... At least she still have Rikuto, and I'm sure Aimi would try to help in any way she can." Reimu sheathes her Goujian. "I can't blame her, really. What did Jack say about that siege, again...? 'One hell of a meat grinder...' That one is no joke, indeed."

Yukari nods in agreement. "And that's the preview of what we can expect from the subsidiaries. The Progenitor is even stronger than that. Let's not forget about what Kario might do, since we confirmed that he cloned himself with someone's help. He's another threat to Gensokyo."

"Noted." The First Champion then puts her rifles on a custom-made holster and places it on her back. "You know, decades ago, I would think this is strange, but the refugees from Hifuu Lunar War made me glad Marisa gave me these guns. Did you plan to dispatch your Lila Achtwolken, Yukari?"

The Sage Leader once again nods. "Meet me there once you gathered the Resolvers."

Both Reimu and Yukari then leave the shrine.

Location: Rainbow Dolls Legion Headquarters/Alice's House, Forest of Magic, Historia Gensokyo

A certain plant youkai and living doll can be seen charging their respective Mini-Hakkeros.

And Reimu was just unfortunate enough to be at the middle of it all. "Oh, Ryujin dammit..."

Leaf Sign "Leaf Spark"! (Ha Seoi)
Color Sign "Rainbow Spark"! (Maybell)

The two Sparks are about to clash with each other, but...

Dream Sign "Duplex Barrier"! (Reimu Hakurei)

Needless to say, both Sparks were distorted upwards the moment they touched the barrier.

*sigh* Reimu retracts the barrier once she confirmed that the Sparks lose their powers. "I know that they already mastered their signature Spell Cards, but still, isn't this a bit too overboard, Marisa?"

"See? Even Reimu thinks so!" Alice walks out from her house and berates Marisa, who was at the field.

"Ehehe... Sorry about that, Reimu." Marisa rubs her head, and noticed the rifles on Reimu's back. "Looks like the time has come."

Ha and Maybell approached the three Resolvers as they talk with each other.

"Do you have any idea about what's going on, Maybell-san?" Ha asked the Praetor. "Because this doesn't sounds good."

"You're right on that part." Maybell grimly nods. "Another war is coming."

"... And Marisa-san will enter the frontline..." Ha mutters. "Do you think I'm selfish when I say I want to join Marisa-san?"

"Trust me, I know how you feel." Maybell comforts the Deputy. "I won't let Alice fight alone, either."

Back to the Resolvers...

"So, Caps is joining us this time?" Marisa takes out a box full of Hakkero Drones.

"Yes. The RAIDERS will take part as well. Let's not forget the UN General Staff." Reimu confirms.

"Looks like our respective second-in-commands made their decision." Alice looks at Ha and Maybell.

True enough, the two of them salutes their respective leaders. (Ha to Marisa and Maybell to Alice)

"Yeah, I suppose so. I just need to check on Naruko and Housui, then." Marisa sits on her broom while carrying the box. "Don't worry, Ha. They'll join, for sure!" She then leaves to fetch both of them.

"Sometimes I wonder how in the world Marisa managed to get so many people to join her group..." Reimu sighs as she realized something. "No wonder she managed to be independent from Okina..."

"You tell me. From being a soloist to creating a force capable of giving Scarlet Defense Army a hard time..." Alice sighs as well. "Not to mention the fact that she also has Golems just like Patchouli..."

"Yukari told us to meet at Lila Achtwolken. I'll go check the others." Reimu flies off soon after.

"Got it, Reimu." Alice looks at Ha and Maybell. "If you don't mind, help me assemble the Legions."

Location: Scarlet Defense Army Headquarters/Scarlet Devil Mansion, Historia Gensokyo

"Anything else that I need to know about the Conflict?" Reimu asked as she and Marisa saw multiple Scarlet Tanks in formation with several Strigoi Mechs.

(AN: Think of recolored Kappa Mech V1 from Touhou Luna Nights. Yep, the very same one Sakuya faced at the Final Stage.)

"I'm pretty sure Patchouli has the monopoly of the robots until Nitori gave Remilia the blueprint for those Strigois..." Marisa replied.

The duo then noticed Corin at the front of said unit. Naturally, she's wearing her parasol.

"You know, her name's kinda an English anagram for Cirno..." Marisa lampshades the fact.

Reimu facepalms upon hearing this. "Vaati wouldn't like that, Marisa..."

Cue the aforementioned person approaching both of them.

"You heard her." Vaati rubs her forehead in exasperation.

She wasn't alone, since Sakuya also went to greet Reimu and Marisa.

"I take that this is what Mistress allocated for the operation, Lady Corin." Sakuya looks at the assembled SDA vehicles.

"Yes. What remains now is to wait for the Choppers to be allocated." Corin nods.

"I see." Sakuya then looks at Vaati. "We'll need the fairies' cooperation again."

"Alright. I'll forward it to her." Vaati nods before leaving the mansion.

Not long after, the Taboo Choppers landed at their designated areas.

"Welp, guess I should increase the allocated troops, then." Marisa sweatdrops. "This is without Patchouli, by the way."

"Oh, I assure you, Marisa." Sakuya replies as she holsters her Edge Guns, Soul Sculptor Final and World 100.

"Lady Patchouli will join."

Location: STI Base in Gensokyo, Muenzuka, Historia Gensokyo

"Here we are... This is our chance to restore our tarnished dignity followed the war against the Order..."

Looking at the current activity of the base, LTC nods in satisfaction. In front of him is various military arsenals created using the blueprints shared by UN Military. Those that managed to catch his attention in particular are the Chinese Type 88G "Battlemaster", German Leopard III, Russian T-41 "Kodiak", and American M38 "Crusader".

"I can't believe that this tank fad happened because of a certain Dimension they found... And somehow we got caught in it..."

LTC lampshades the fact that the entirety of UN Army (land branch of UN Armed Forces) are fully mechanized, and tanks became the primary ground vehicles following Dimension Panzer's integration into UN Military.

"I'm going to sue the Nishizumis on behalf of us Summers." He jokes.

Of course, he didn't forget to bring an entire division of Russian MTP-4A "Badger" Recovery Vehicles, crewed by STI Engineers and Mechanics led by Miranda Moore. In addition, he already ordered the entire air unit at the base (including the GA-Raider) to be transferred to Lila Achtwolken, recognizing GUF prowess in maintaining the Flying Megabase.

"I don't think they will take it kindly, Sir." Harrison, the STI Supreme Agent, replies.

"I know, Harrison. At least they gave us good reason to increase our force size." LTC smirks.

He then looks at the Chinese Troop Crawlers, which will be used to transport the infantries.

"Count on the Russians for the tanks, count on the Chinese for the troops, count on the Germans for the discipline, count on us Americans for the logistics, and thank the Japanese for Gensokyo."

Harrison sweatdrops. "Right... I wonder what the Union's Zen Captain would think about this."

"Knowing Wilder, he would find this amusing and accurate. And I dread of what the UN will brought with them, considering that ours was destroyed during the STICK War." The CEO chortles.

"Sir." Vincent Auron, the STI Legendary Turk, salutes LTC. "The Turks has been mobilized, per your order."

"Good." LTC then looks at the approaching group. "I can't believe that Brit managed to be one of the RAIDERS..."

Alice Lou sighs as she hear it. "Usual Edge. Perhaps his power is the reason he's named that."

"HEY, I HEARD THAT!" The aforementioned British Raider, Edge Calloway, shouts.

Harrison rubs his head. "Makes me wonder if he and Raider Karpovich are related in some way..."

"Hardly. And the UNM confirmed that Grigory is a Psionic, so that conjecture is invalid." LTC shrugs.

Immediately, a Grand Overlord from UNM chrono-shifted right at front of the STI Task Force.

"I take that it's our cue to move out, LT?" David Fomes, the RAIDERS Leader, asked.

"Yes. All infantries, enter the Troop Crawlers. Harrison, Vincent, RAIDERS, follow me. The Grand Overlord will be our ride this time." LTC ordered. "All units, brace for the Chrono Shift."

Once everyone enters their assigned vehicles, the Task Force is immediately chrono-shifted to Lila Achtwolken.

Location: Novi Grad-class Flying Megabase Lila Achtwolken, Historia Gensokyo

"Alright, I think that's everyone." Marisa looks at her Elite Corps' troop deployment.

"Good for you, Marisa-san. I can only bring the air cavalry..." Sanae replies.

"At least you still can deploy something..." Reimu sighs.

Out of all the Resolvers, Reimu is the only one that can't deploy military units, since the Barrier Protectors are assigned to maintain the Great Hakurei Barrier, with Shinsei, her daughter, as interim leader while she's away.

"Don't worry, Reimu. You're still our First Champion." Someone answers.

Reimu looks at said person. "And yet only Yasei who recognized it until the Third Great War, Yumemi..."

The professor from the future is unable to reply, and concedes. "Alright, you win. I suppose that's why he's the Captain."

Yumemi then continues. "Yukari told me that we already completed our task at Shoukan Dimension, and so I decided to disband the research team. Any follow-ups will be handled by the Neo Guardians."

Said Sage emerged from the gap soon after, and looks at the assembled forces.

"Looks like everyone is here." Yukari surmises. "You can take over from here."

Few seconds after, someone emerged from a Quantum Portal. The Alliance Commander-in-Chief is finally here.

"Darn you, Yukari..." Yasei lampshades. "You and your Suki-Map..."

He then starts the speech. "As you all can tell, Trans-Dimensional Blitzkrieg will start ahead of schedule, and this will mark our first voyage. Tomorrow, we will strike at one of the subsidiaries' forces, and fix what this Gensokyo's dictator couldn't."

He looks at the assembled force as well before resuming the speech.

From GUF side, Reimu is the one leading them. Marisa brings her Elite Corps with her, Alice dispatches several Legions alongside Maybell, Sakuya leads a portion of Scarlet Defense Army, Patchouli brings her Defense Corps, Sanae assembles Moriya Shrine's Air Cavalry, Youmu didn't bring anyone except Yuyuko and Ayaka, and Reisen leads the Eagle Ravi Corps.

'Kougei is here as well... Not even Yukari can stop her, I suppose.' Yasei sweatdrops.

From UNM side, they send in the Grand Army, with six Dimension Panzer Commanders supporting them.

From HMF side, there's STI Task Force. There's an unspoken agreement to let HMF national armies took the occupation role once some of the countries has been subjugated.

"Those who are here already read the files. This is merely the first step to uproot the Progenitor's influence. And it will be harder than Clash of Gensokyos and Three Great Wars, combined. That's our expectations of the Progenitor's strength."

Yasei's tone made it clear that this war will be unlike anything they experienced so far.

"I believe anyone here already made their choice." He then shouts. "TERRANS, WHAT ARE YOUR TITLES?!"

"Bastion of the Forgotten!" (Gensokyo Union Fighters)
"Protectors of the Earth!" (United Nations Military)
"The Shield of Humanity!" (Humanity Military Force)

(AN: Exactly. These three Dominions are originated from Earth, hence the 'Terran' demonym.)

"Good." Yasei nods in satisfaction. "Keep that in mind. We will need it in our upcoming campaign." Another force then rallies behind him. "The Joint Divisions have declared their support for this campaign. Us Outsiders naturally will follow suit. Back to you, Yukari."

He then walks to an empty area alongside the Outsiders and the Joint Divisions.

"Thank you." Yukari nods in acknowledgement. "I suppose the presence of three Shitennos here are more than enough proof of the Union's dedication for this campaign. We will pay a visit to this Gensokyo first before making our presence known to their connected Earth. We will let them know that their bigotry have no place in our Alliance."

"You heard her." Yasei comments.

"If there are no more questions, I shall bring Lila Achtwolken into that Gensokyo." Yukari said as she activates Lila Achtwolken and opens a massive gap outside. The Flying Megabase then flies to said gap and disappear from Historia Gensokyo.

AN: Well, here we are. The troops has been assembled. There will be more in the next chapter.

In case you wonder, the target Universe's codename is Neu-Blitzkrieg.
