Despite having a rather restful sleep, Saphira woke up with a rather nasty headache. She thankfully was able to treat it without it turning into a migraine, as she didn't particularly want to call up sick tonight. Especially since she wanted to return to Fazbear Horror and Pizzeria attraction as she wanted to spend more time with the animatronics. And if there was no actual annoyances, such as more trespassers, Saphira considered looking through the animatronic file again to see if she could learn more. Though there were other things she might want to do as well.

Saphira spent sometime drawing the animatronics and decided to take both sketchbooks so that she could continue. At the same time, she grabbed out one of her many empty journals to write down some notes about what she was going to do. She knew what she wanted to find out regarding the animatronics. But she was going out see if she could find out why the animatronics were made. There had to be some reason for their existence.

Though she was thankful that the animatronics even exist. While her brother probably would be alive if they did not exist, as there would have been no reason to be out that day, but Saphira may still have been lonely. Without Springtrap, Bonnie, Chica, Freddy or any of the other animatronics, she did not know what her life would look like.

Though she did know that if the animatronics were proper animatronics either high level AI, that probably would have made more sense than for them to have literal hearts and blood keeping them alive. Saphira was curious what the end goal was. The nightmare animatronics were coming soon as well, and it has been years since new animatronics were brought to the attraction. And she did also wonder what the reason for that was.

Saphira got herself ready tonight and decided to put some braids in her hair. She made two small braids along the side of her head and pulled the braids and the rest of her hand into a ponytail. She smiled as it looked really nice. And even though she was still not confident about her appearance, the encouragement from the toy animatronics has helped her enough to male her want to pay a bit more attention to her appearance. And she had started looking at some skin products that she could use.

She knew she was doing this because of Springtrap. She had actually had a dream involving him before she woke up. It was a dream where she was at a table with candlelight. There were fairy lights around the room with a bouquet of flowers on the table. She was sitting on one side, Springtrap was on the other. And it was a romantic dinner dream. And it wasn't even at the attractions for some reason, but some kind of fancy restaurant.

She remembers seeing him trying steak and how much he was loving it. And Saphira also had a steak on her side, and their glasses were filled with red wine. It seemed lovely...she couldn't hear what Springtrap was saying, only that she was happy to be there with him.

The dream would continue this way until Springtrap stood up and held his hand to her. She took it and he pulled her up from her seat and the dining room would disappear and changed into what had looked like some kind of dance floor, with the wooden floorboards and disco ball above them. And they actually waltzed in her dream before her dream was cut off when Springtrap had leaned in to kiss her.

Saphira had not expected to dream about Springtrap that way so soon...but it showed how much she was already feeling. Though she knew she and Springtrap weren't even close to that kind of relationship. They had to rekindle a friendship first, and Saphira could simply fantasize about everything else quietly.

Once she was ready, Saphira left the house early to make a quick stop at the supermarket. She decided to take extra snacks to share with the animatronics. She bought chocolate to share, some chip packets and she even bought some crackers and cheese. She knew not all the animatronics would like this, but she felt it should be a way to break the ice.

Though she would need to put the cheese into the fridge in the staff room as soon as she got to the restaurant. She hoped that Mike wouldn't really care, though she doubt he minds that she eats snacks during her shift...even though she hasn't the first three shifts. She actually had found she has been running on just one meal a day, and the excitement she has been going through has really just made her not notice her hunger.

As she drove to the attraction, at the set of lights before the lot of the attraction, she saw the black RAM truck in the opposite lane, waiting to go through the lights. She made sure not to make it seem like she took much notice, but she looked at it curiously. She still could not see the driver. And there were no plates. She wondered if the driver has even been pulled over or not.

She shrugged and drove to the attraction once the lights change to green and parked her car. She had to really look for a parking space tonight as it was rather full in the lot. Thursday's definitely was busy. And she was okay with that since she had zero customer interaction. She walked into the back door and into the office. She was surprised that she did not see Mike, so she quickly put her stuff down before darting into the staff room to put the cheese away, and make herself a coffee before returning to the office to clock in and sip.

She looked around for a note, but she did not see any. She shrugged and relaxed for ten minutes before jumping when she saw Mike walk by the office window. She had not expected that and he had unintentionally startled her.

"Mmm, that smells good," Mike comments as he walked into the office with a folder in his hand. "I see you are a coffee addict." Saphira smiled at him as he walked over to his desk. "Nice braids, I see you are definitely enjoying yourself."

"Oh, I am. I do like this job a lot." She looked at the folder he had curiously. "That looks like some kind of planner folder. Is there something happening?"

The man looked at the folder and looked at her with a smile. "Well, I have something exciting to announce." He opened the folder and showed Saphira an image. "This is the Bedroom of Nightmares we created…" Saphira looked at the images and saw it was a room with two doors. There was a twin, wooden bed with a made-up bed with odd floral patterns in a colored and white checkered style with a Freddy plush in the center. "The nightmare animatronics are set to arrive about a month's time."

Saphira smiled a little. She looked at more images to see that the bedroom seemed to be set in an oldish house, given the wallpaper. There was a closet with while, panel doors and two blue set of drawers with purple carpet and random toys on the bottom. She also saw that outside the doors as a long hallway with large windows and there was a grandfather clock sitting outside the bedroom itself.

"This is really going to give kids nightmares," Saphira commented with a little chuckle. "From the Haunted Classroom to the Bedroom of Nightmares…" She looked up at Mike curiously. "Do we have an image of what the animatronics will look like? Or at least all of their names?"

Mike nodded. "As you know, there is Nightmare Mangle. Along with Nightmare Freddy, Nightmare Chica, Nightmare Bonnie and Nightmare Foxy. We also had Nightmare Fredbear and Nightmare." Saphira looked at him in confusion and he nodded. "Yes, there is a singular animatronic called Nightmare. Kind of like Springtrap, but there is no Nightmare Springtrap…I don't know if we will do that."

I kind of like Springtrap being the only one who is special.

"Interesting Fredbear is getting a…copy, like the others," Saphira said thoughtfully. "They sound to be pretty cool, honestly." She still wondered what they would look like. "Do you have any images of what they will look like?"

"I just have Nightmare Bonnie here…" Mike turned the page and showed Saphira the image. "And I am going to be honest, these are the most terrifying animatronics I have seen. And they will not be performing songs or anything. They will just be there in the Bedroom of Nightmares to scare guests in a form of hide and seek."

Saphira definitely was not expecting what she saw right now. This Nightmare Bonnie seemed to be based on the original Bonnie design, with a duller purple shade to his outer skin. He had a withered look, as she had expected, with his right-hand seeming being exposed with rusty springs. His bowtie is a metallic red that would likely glimmer under any light. His left foot looked like it had been exposed too, and she could see the metal plates and toes that would normally be covered by a metal case. And his stomach appeared to be somewhat exposed. But what really got Saphira was the very sharp claws and two rows of sharp teeth. This was not seen in any other design and his eyes looked like they would be bright purple.

"Wow…uh, these really will be creepy," Saphira commented as she looked at the image. "This isn't an actual picture of him, is it?" Mike shook his head and she was a little disappointed. She knew he might look different upon seeing him and she raised an eyebrow. "I honestly thought these guys would be here for Halloween."

"Oh, there's a plan to create special Halloween type animatronics as well," Mike said happily with a smile. Not knowing that Mike was happy to know Saphira was creeped out by the nightmare animatronics. "There's no name for them yet, we're focusing on Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy with those designs. After that, I am not sure where we will go from here…maybe a rock and roll kind of area, maybe."

"There is only so much you can build, I guess." Saphira relaxed back on the chair and sipped her coffee, looking up at Mike with a smile. "Where do you get the animatronics from anyway? Is there a special robotics that you source the animatronics from?"

The man nodded slowly as he closed the folder and placed it down. "This company has always been working with someone who specializes in these particular animatronics. You actually won't find animatronics like the ones we have here anywhere else. Even Disney does not have animatronics like these."

If they did…the company probably would have ended years ago.

"So…like a Fazbear only kind of specialist?" Saphira asked curiously in a slow tone as she wanted to make it seem like she was curious out of interest, rather than wanting to know the details due to wanting to know more about why the animatronics were made.

"You could say that. Mister Afton has been working with this company for a long time." Mike turned from Saphira as he began to gather his things to leave. "Before him, there was another gentleman who made the original Fazbear for Fazbear's Family Diner. This was when the establishment was owned by Gabrielle Fitzgerald before I took over the place."

"Oh yeah…that name is familiar…hard to forget an unusual name like that," Saphira said with a slight smile. "You used to work for him, didn't you?" Mike nodded. "And then something happened regarding children, and he decided to give you the establishment."

"Not exactly how it worked…but I guess that is how it happened, yes." The man finished gathering his things and picked up the folder. Saphira was a little annoyed as she had wanted to look through it. "Anyway, the Bedroom of Nightmares is free for you to check out tonight, if you want. It won't be open to the public until the nightmares arrive, so you have the freedom to check it out. Plus, it's not fully finished, but it is almost finished."

Saphira definitely knew she wanted to do that since it would another area she would need to watch over. "I suppose I would need to anyway in case somebody decided to squat there."

The man let out an amused chuckle. "Oh yeah, just like the Love Chapel. People always seem to try and hide in there, but those rooms don't have many places to hide in. But I guess people really like the idea of getting their sex needs filled at Freddy's."

She grimaced and rolled her eyes. "I'd rather not have to think about that."

The man chuckled again and walked towards the door. "Alright, I am off. Today's been rather smooth today. You won't see me tomorrow, I have a family dinner to attend to, but I'll leave some notes behind for you. Have a good one tonight, Saphira."

Saphira watched the man leave and she thought about the nightmare animatronics. She had no idea if she should be afraid of them or not. She knew that judging their appearance would not be the right thing to do. After all, she never did with any of the animatronics. And Springtrap was her favorite animatronic as a child, and he still is. She thought about attempting to sketch Nightmare Bonnie to show the animatronics what the nightmares would look like, but she was not sure if she should.

She sighed and sipped her coffee and casually went through the cameras. There were no new cameras for the new area yet, and she was okay with that. She relaxed in the chair happily and grabbed out her sketchbooks to sketch happily. She was already used to this routine now, so she would simply just enjoy the few hours before twelve. At least the place was empty of customers by ten thirty and the other staff were able to clean the attraction by twelve before they left.

Once they had left, Saphira was still in the middle of sketching an image of Springtrap. This image was an image of him with him rest at a table, with one arm laying in front of his chest, while he rests his cheek in his hand with the elbow rest on a table and he was looking sideways at her. She had not taken a lot at the cameras straight, but she pressed reboot when she heard an alert from the tablet, though she did not need to look anymore.

She took a pause after fifteen minutes and stared at the image before she continued. "I did not realize you had become an artist…" Saphira gasped in surprise and turned, jumping again when she saw Springtrap right behind her. "And…" He gazed at the image curiously and looked at Saphira. "Seems like you manage to draw me rather well."

Saphira took a deep breath and smiled at him. "Yes…I guess I have…probably because it has been a way for me to express myself." She closed the sketchbook and placed it on the desk and turned to Springtrap with a smile. "And I am surprised for someone who is taller than me and heavier than me can sneak up and scare me like that."

Springtrap huffed in amusement with a slight smile. "We are meant to do that, Saphira. You know that all too well." She nodded and turned to the cameras to check through quickly. "How is your head? I see there isn't a bump there anymore, and I am surprised there is no bruise."

"I woke up with a bad headache, but I am okay." She turned away from the computer and looked at him. "And my body's still a bit stiff and sore, but again, I am okay. I will heal, Springtrap. Thanks for your concern."

Springtrap smiled a little and glanced at her head. He had seen the braids and they looked lovely on her. "Saphira…" She looked at him with a smile and he turned his head away from her. "Listen…I want to apologize…"

"Please don't." He looked at her in surprise when she interrupts him. "You have nothing apologize for. I am not mad at you, Springtrap. You reacted the way you felt you had to. You felt those wounds reopen and I am sorry that it happened. You and I should stop apologizing to each other. Besides…we are supposed to be trying to start again. Right?" He nodded. "So that means we need to stop thinking about the past. We should think about moving forward."

"I guess you are right." Springtrap still seemed uncertain by it, but Saphira's confidence regarding it seemed to make him cheer up. "I am not sure if you know this…but the nightmare area has a name now. Bedroom of Nightmares…" He shakes in head in slight amusement. "I have no idea why it is that name…"

"You will see," Saphira said with a smile. "Mike showed me some images of it before he left. And I know for a fact that people will be more scared of the nightmare animatronics than you. Mike showed me an image of what Nightmare Bonnie will look like." She shivered a little. "I am not going to judge, but he looks rather intimidating."

Springtrap smiled as he heard that and let out a chuckle. "Okay, if you feel afraid of these guys, they must be intimidating. After all, I am apparently the scariest animatronic here right now, and your first action when you met me was to hug me. And you still hug me without hesitation."

"Yeah, and it looks they are based on the original designs too," Saphira said softly and shrugged. "But, they might turn out to be the nicest guys we ever met." She stood up from her chair and slid it back. "How about we go and check it out. Mike told me that I can. I got to do the rounds of checking the doors first, as normal, and we can have a look at Bedroom of Nightmares together. I would like it if you would walk with me."

Springtrap nodded as Saphira grabbed her flashlight and walked out of the room. "So…" He followed her down the hallway, keeping just behind her as he walked. "Um…how is your school going? I remember you used to be good at it. But…"

"I do online school now." He tilts his head slightly as he listened to her. "It was the only way I can even do school. Because bullying got so bad in school that my mental health was really bad. It still is not the best, but it is better than what it was." Springtrap said nothing as he knew she had been through bad emotions like he had as well. "I actually will graduate soon. I have a few more assignment to pass and I should get my high school diploma before I am eighteen. I am not sure what I'll do afterwards…but…right now, I just want to focus on my work and rekindling friendships with you guys."

"What about…uh…college? Is that the right word?" He asked curiously with a frown. "I've heard the word thrown around before, but I don't really know much about it. Is it like…more education for humans?" Saphira nodded. "Right…do you have plans to go?"

"No. I don't think I will." Saphira looked at him with a smile. "I couldn't cope with going to a college and sitting in a class surrounded by people again. I…I don't like crowds anymore. I get really nervous and anxious in crowds, even with my own family."

Springtrap listened and looked at her curiously. "What about being with us? There's seventeen of us in total, and if we were all in a room with you, would that not make you feel the same?"

She thought about it for a moment and shook her head. "No, I don't think so. Probably because…I have always been natural with you guys and you all had made me happy. And many of the others have already gone out of their way to try and help me. Especially…since I…I don't get what you all see in me."

He blinked and looked in her in surprise as they enter the loading dock area. "What do you mean by that?"

She shrugged. "I guess…I can kind of understand that I don't judge…" She walked over to the door to make sure it was locked, though she paused when she noticed the roller door was up slightly. "Hold that thought." She looked around for the door controls and walked down a set of stairs to the bottom as she saw the controls by the door. "I guess the workers forgot to close this properly. I hope it isn't jammed or anything."

Springtrap looked at the door curiously. He had not expected the door to be open slightly and watched Saphira as she walked over to the controls. The door looked like it was on a slight angle, so she hits the button to raise the door first before checking the frame for anything that might have caused the door to not close properly before closing it again. Once it reached the bottom, it closed properly and she sighed in relief.

She walked back to the stairs to climb back up. "Now I am suspicious about the other doors. I don't really need to deal with more drunk idiots." Springtrap nodded as he followed her to the door to keep walking with her. "Anyway…as I was saying…"

"Do you believe that we are exaggerating what we see?" Springtrap asked curiously and she shrugged uncertainly. "I don't think we are. Maybe you just lack the confidence knowing that you really are the kindest person in the world. I honestly don't think we deserve your friendship, and yet here you are. You came back and you still want to be our friend."

She smiled at him as they walk towards the door to the kitchen. "I do agree…I lack a lot of self confidence. I don't even think I am as beautiful as everyone keeps saying…" The animatronic stared at her in surprise, though he said nothing. "But the toy animatronics helped…they really did. I think I will need to keep going back to them about it. And yet…you said the same thing."

Springtrap had no idea she did not think she was beautiful. He had no idea she would grow into someone beautiful like she is now. And yet, here she was. Standing before him, and it also made him angrier at the time knowing that she was beautiful. But now they had a chance to rekindle their friendship, and he most certainly did not want her to feel like that she is ugly. As he believed she was not.

"I had never thought you would ever have insecurities like that, Saphira. But…given what you have told us…I wish we were there in your life. But…" He sighed a little looked at the back of her head. "You and I have had been forced to face our darkest thoughts and moments over these ten years. You, I think, have been through something worse."

"I don't think we should really compare what we have been through, Springtrap. I agree we have faced our darkest thoughts." She opened the door into the kitchen and shines her flashlight around. "But you and I have found each other again. I think that is a good thing. I know we had a rough couple nights too...but I am glad it worked out." She looked at him with a smile. "And it made me realize how I much I missed you."

He smirked at her and nodded. "I guess if you filled that book with pictures of me, I guess I am not surprised. And to be honest...even though I had been hurt and angry...I missed you too, Saphira. And I...I hope we will not regret it."

She nodded as she shines the light around and checked the side door. "Nothing is out of the ordinary here." She walked to the next door to wall by the fridges and freezers. "You know, since I am going to be here for a long time, we have to figure out things to do at night." The bot looked at her curiously as she walked into the hallway. She glanced down as she noticed something on the ground. "Someone dropped their wallet."

Springtrap looked at the wallet curiously, it is a light brown wallet and he sniffed the air suddenly. "Odd...that is Samson's scent. He's not a kitchen staff, he works in the entertainment and keeps the lights and sound system maintained. There's no reason he should be back here."

Saphira looked at the wallet and turned to Springtrap. "Are you able to smell how fresh a scent is?" He nodded and sniffed gently as he tried to determine where the man is. "It is really odd if that is true."

"He was here exactly several hours ago, roughly the same time you arrived," Springtrap said softly. "I smell Mike's scent...and two others I don't recognize." He leaned down and sniffed the door handle to one of the freezers and looked at it. "Mind yourself, Saphira. I…I might be wrong, but…" He as Saphira when she grabbed a piece of paper towel from a nearby roll to pick the wallet up and he opened the door. He widened his eyes in shock. "Uhh…"

Saphira walked back over to the door and shines the light inside, only to widen her eyes as she saw the man laying on the floor. He was completely frozen and she noticed the temperature was very cold. She checked the gauge and saw that the freezer was twenty degrees colder than it should be. She was shocked. She knew the animatronics did not do this, as this would not be how they would kill their prey.

She stepped inside and shivered as she looked at him, kneeling down and placed her hand on his neck. He was completely cold and she looked at Springtrap. "He's dead." The animatronic looked at her with worry. "I-I know this was not you…but you said you could smell Mike's scent, right?" He nodded and she looked at the body again and noticed a sticky note on the floor. She picked it up and she saw the writing on the note. I hope they like popsicle meat. She turned to Springtrap in surprise. "Whoever wrote this is expecting you to eat him."

Springtrap looked at the man in surprise. "I…have to confess, this would be the first time an employee is killed here by someone who isn't an animatronic. And Samson was not a night guard…" He looked at the frozen body and grimaced. "And I don't know if we will want to…"

She looked back at the body and walked out of the freezer. "Damn, it's cold…" She walked around Springtrap to go over to the freezer controls to change them so they would return to the temperature they were before. She sighed a little, wondering what this meant. "I have to say…this is concerning. If Mike had been involved with killing someone, or I think what happened, Samson was pushed into the freezer and he died in there."

"Probably, I saw him thirty minutes before you were meant to arrive for your shift. I think he was finishing up, but I do remember he seemed nervous about something." Springtrap closed the door and looked at Saphira. "What should we do? I don't know if we really should devour the man…though I know it will scare the poor chefs in the morning when they come in to do prep…and we would end up with the police here."

Saphira did not have an answer. "I think we should hold off checking out the Bedroom of Nightmares for the moment…uhh…I will quickly check the rest of the doors and we should probably talk with the others. They might have seen something, and we can work this mystery out."

Springtrap nodded in agreement and smiled at her. "You know, I was hoping we would have a nice, quiet night," He said as she walked by him to head to the end of the hallway, and placed the wallet by the paper towel roll. "With a bit of talking, and getting to know each other again. But no, I guess we have some other mystery to deal with."

"I know! I even brought some food to share in the dining room for a bit of a party." He looked at her in surprise as she walked out the door and she giggled at him. "You did not think I was just going to let you guys go through your lives without eating chocolate or something other than flesh and blood, did you?" He shrugged and she giggled again. "You are too funny, Springtrap. Anyway, let's check the last areas of the attraction before we talk to everyone."

The animatronic nodded and stuck close to Saphira as he was worried something could happen to her, given that she too could be pushed into the freezer and killed that way. It didn't seem like the worst way to go, but Springtrap would hate that. And he would hate being forced to basically devour her body like that. Fredbear joined the two of them as he made a comment about seeing something strange, as did Bonnie and Freddy. Something definitely was going on, and they didn't know what. Fredbear, Bonnie and Freddy were shocked when Saphira and Springtrap told them what had been found in one of the freezers. They had no idea about that and they were immediately concerned, as they too knew this was the first time an employee was killed by someone who wasn't them, and the man wasn't even a night guard.
