It was now Saturday, and Saphira was in a very good mood when she woke up. She had a rather good time with the animatronics the previous night, and she wanted to do it all over again. She had thought about whether she wanted to see this room filled with Afton's diaries yet, and decided she simply preferred to do something with the animatronics. She had even decided that she might even take up on Toy Bonnie's offer that he gave her earlier that week. And that was to try on the clothes in the clothing store of the attraction. That now sounded like fun.
Especially as Saphira was a little more invested in her appearance than before. She spent some time braiding her hair into a mermaid braid, deciding to test out her skills with her hair since it was long. And she was happy with how it turned out. Normally she would get frustrated if she tried to do anything and generally did not put her hair up because of that. Now she just wanted to look nice. And she knew the animatronics liked it too, even if they don't compliment.
Saphira had considered taking other clothes with her to change out of her uniform to wear as she figured a more casual appearance might be a good idea. Although she wondered if she would be pushing it a bit too much by doing that. She did like the idea of getting dressed up, but she also knew this was her job. She did not want to bend the rules too much, even though she knew those cameras never recorded anything. There was still a chance there could be some kind of hidden camera watching her. Whatever is in those vents could be something.
Saphira had considered bringing snacks again, but she was warned there would be trespassers tonight, so she figured it was best to not bring anything. She did hope that she could stay in the office without having to deal with trespassers, but that would depend if they show up after she had went around the attraction checking the doors or after. She hoped that it would be after, as she really did not want to witness people being killed by the animatronics again.
Saphira had thirty minutes before she had to leave anyway, and she had just finished her homework. She was really happy with that, and she was simply scrolling through social media casually. She never made her social media well known as there were people from school who were looking for her. She knew this because she's seen posts about her, and she didn't particularly know why. They still wanted to mock her, as far as she knew.
However, because of that, Saphira came across a post mentioning Fazbear Horror and Pizzeria Attraction. She saw it was one of the guys she knew, and they were posting about Chica's Love Chapel for some reason. She did not know why since they weren't eighteen, though there were mentions about the bar and how many drinks the place had. She was suspicious about this and hoped these guys weren't planning on breaking in.
If they do…it would be kind of justified that they die…even though that's a horrible thing to think about.
Still, she was suspicious this was a post about someone wanting to break in to go after the alcohol at the bar of the adult only area. Saphira made sure to make a note of it and let the animatronics know that this was likely going to happen. However, she did not know how they would react knowing this was someone who had tormented her during her years of high school before she was forced to drop out to ensure her mental health did not get worse. She especially did not know how Springtrap would react.
She decided to get herself ready and packed a spare sketchbook as she decided to teach Springtrap how to draw. She didn't want him to go by any rules though, as she felt that art was art no matter what. And there was no such thing as perfect art. Art was what you made, and if it is special to you, then it did not matter what others think. That was something she learned as she learned to create art pieces. She just created what was on her mind, and it turned out to be something amazing. Even if her parents don't like what she draws and paints.
She made sure the pencils were sharpened and made her way out of her room. On her way, she was surprised to see Alana and James watching TV in the living room. She walked by them to the front door and Alana looked up in surprise. "Don't you have the weekends off?"
"Nope, I do not," Saphira responded with a smile as she opened the door and stepped out. Alana opened her mouth to speak, but Saphira interrupts her. "I already knew about it when I signed up for it. Besides, it's so easy, mom. I gotta go! We can argue tomorrow."
With the door closed behind her, Saphira walked out to her Corolla to head to the attraction as she did not want to be bothered by her mother's questioning about her job. She got into the car and drove to the attraction, feeling very content at this time. She put on some music and sang along to it as she drove through the city to the attraction. By the time she arrived, the place was packed like it was the night before.
She was lucky to find a park before heading to the back door to get in. "And just where do you think you're going?" Saphira jumped and turned in surprise, only to relax quickly when she saw a woman glaring at her. "You need to go through the front door, young lady!"
"Uh, I actually work here," Saphira responded with a frown and turned away from the woman. "So I don't need your opinion on where I should go." She shakes her head as she unlocked the back door and stepped inside. The woman seemed like she wanted to follow. "And I am the head of security, if you try to come through the back here, I'll be sure to have the police called on your ass."
She shut the door without hearing anything further from the woman and rolled her eyes. She did not want to deal with people tonight, but she had a feeling that she would have to. Especially given what she had seen on social media. She walked into the office and saw Mike typing away at the computer and he seemed to be focused on what he was writing.
He did glance up when he heard her and smiled at her. "Evening, Saphira. I see you were able to fair alright last night." She nodded as she put her bag on the shelf and sat down, moving to face him with a smile. "You should expect the other employees to leave around the same time as they did last night. Though I might be here for another hour myself."
"Why is that?" Saphira asked curiously. "You are normally out of here shortly after I arrive."
"Oh, that's because I have some orders to make that I forgot to make during the week," Mike explained as he focused on his task. "Thankfully, I can do it all online and I shouldn't have any issues with the suppliers. I did not realize how low we were on a few things here, so I need to put those in. And because it is different things, it actually is with a couple different suppliers."
"That sounds like fun." Saphira checked the time and saw she had ten minutes until she actually started. "How was the family dinner last night?"
Mike flinched slightly from the question, though he glanced at her with a smile. "It was nice. We went out to a nice restaurant and had some good old steak. Plus a little bit to drink, I actually almost didn't come in this morning. Thankfully I didn't have a huge hangover."
Saphira smiled slightly as that sounded like a normal answer. "That sounds like fun. I can't remember the last time I ever went out for dinner with my family. I am glad you could go with yours."
The man nodded and looked back at the screen. Saphira did glance at the screen and it seemed like he had not been lying by what she was seeing. "I don't go out very much myself. I think last night was the first time in..." He had to pause for a moment as he thought about. "Uh...oh, I can't remember actually. Last year I think...so it was a rare occasion. Plus, steak is expensive, so it definitely was not something that I could have regularly."
"I agree with that." Saphira grabbed out a packet of popcorn to eat as she stood up to clock in. "Though I generally prefer to cook my own steak as I can put my own seasoning on it. And it usually tastes really great."
"Nothing like home cooking, that I can agree with," Mike said as he continued to type. "But it certainly was nice to not have to cook and clean up for once. Though I generally am not that great of a cook anyway. The best I can do is bacon and eggs."
"Simple food can sometimes be better than complex meals," Saphira said as she sat down after clocking on for her shift. She began to casually go through the cameras as she ate the popcorn. "So I can understand. I usually don't make super complex food."
"I can actually agree to that. Though even simple food I actually tend to mess up." Mike sighed as he paused and checked through what he had ordered on screen. "And that is the last of the orders done." He hits enter and rubbed his face with a groan. "And thank god for that!"
"And you now can go home and relax. Are you here everyday too?" The man nodded as he turned his chair to face her. "I actually thought you would have the weekend off. Though I guess I was wrong."
"I do and I don't." The man shrugged before smiling at her. "I should warn you that you should be aware that there could be trespassers tonight. For some reason, Saturdays are the day people come in the most. So make sure you have your phone with you."
Saphira nodded as she listened to him. "I did see something suspicious on social media. I think someone may try to get in so they can steal alcohol. But I am not sure who they are and if they actually are going to steal it."
Mike seemed rather surprised and he turned to face the computer to finish off the last few things he needed to do. "I am shocked that surprises me, but I know that I should not be surprised. I am going to guess whoever it is, is a teenager who thinks they can sneak in and grab alcohol. And they will be in for a ride shock with you being here."
Saphira knew that they will definitely have a shock when they see her here. Mostly because she knew who it was. She didn't want to say that she knew this person, mostly because she didn't want to admit to Mike that she had a difficulty time in high school. As she was sure Mike murdered three people this week, she didn't want him to use her past against her in case he did something that she would not forgive.
"I'll be sure to keep an extra close eye on Chica's Love Chapel tonight," Saphira said confidently. "I have a feeling that they will sneak in after everyone leaves, but I will spot them if they happen to be here."
"And be sure to keep an eye on them, we can't do anything about until they actually do something, so we can only watch them. It sucks, but that's all we can do." Saphira just nodded as she went through the cameras casually while Mike finished what he was working on. "And I am done for the night." She looked at him as he stood up, stretching his arms and arching his back with a smile. "I will probably see you tomorrow, or I will have already left. Sundays are kind of breezy for me."
Saphira just smiled and nodded. "I hope you have a good rest of your night."
"I will try." Mike gathered his things and put the computer on sleep mode. "I hope you won't have huge trouble tonight...though there isn't any guarantee."
She just shrugged at him. "Whatever happens will happen I guess."
"True." He walked towards the door and glanced back at her. "I am glad you will be with us after this week. Most people usually leave by this point, because they are either bored or just don't like working this long at night."
Saphira did not know if what he said was a hundred percent true, but she did not react to that much. "I still find myself enjoying the company of the animatronics, even though they just stay where they are after close."
Mike looked away and walked down the hallway. "That's good. Enjoy the rest of your shift as much as possible."
Saphira heard the back door open and close, making her relax as she continued to eat the popcorn. Saphira could see that the attraction was very full again tonight, especially in the Chica's Love Chapel. She did not need to guess what was happening in those rooms as she guessed they were full. She still wondered why some people saw the appeal of private bedrooms in an attraction like this one.
She was still on the lookout for anyone suspicious. However, she did check her social media in case there were clues on anything. So far, nothing. She would certainly keep any eye on it during the night, and ensure that Springtrap and the others know that she was aware of what these trespassers wanted.
She just had go wait for the time to pass. She wondered if it was the wrong night to start showing Springtrap how to draw. After all, it seemed like tonight was going to be rather busy for them. And she didn't mean with guests. She knew there was a chance the ones she saw on social media were not the only people planning to sneak into the attraction, she knew that the appeal of coming here would be pretty strong. Especially among those who drink too much.
Saphira finished eating the popcorn and wasted more time by sketching a bit more. She still had her sketchbook filled with Springtrap sketches. And she has gotten very good at it. Plus, Saphira still found herself fascinated by Springtrap. It has only been a week since she came back to the attraction, and only a few days since she and him were actually getting along. She grasped the necklace around her neck, placing with it. She still caressed it from time to time while she was deep in her thoughts. And it certainly brought a sense of happiness.
She smiled as she flipped through the sketchbook. She knew as a kid she had loved Springtrap. And she had always felt she could love him as a friend. However, now that she was much older, she saw him differently. Probably because the two of them have matured, so to speak. While he may never get a wrinkle, he would still likely have matured. Especially given that the bots were very capable of everything else, maturity was likely something that they had. Which was why Bonnie was one of the most mature of the animatronics as he was also one of the oldest.
However, Saphira had actually begun to think that there was something attractive about Springtrap's appearance. She didn't know why. He didn't have a six pack, but she saw how she had captured how appearance in her sketches. She had somewhat felt a strange attraction already to Springtrap, and she wondered if she maybe had that attraction as a kid. It was possible. Kids sometimes had crushes, and didn't always know what that meant. And Saphira had felt like she loved Springtrap as a friend.
Maybe it could have been an innocent attraction at the time too. I used to always feel excited whenever my parents drove to the attraction.
She shook her head, deciding it was impossible. She has matured, so she now knew what caught her eye and what would not catch her eye. And she knew that there was something about Springtrap that was attractive. It was hard for her to really explain. She sighed and just went ahead to draw another sketch, deciding it was not worth her time pondering over such things. Especially given she has really only rekindled the friendship in the past week.
The time passes by and the attraction is finally empty again by twelve. Saphira was thrilled and she kept a close eye on every customer who left. So far, there was no one. However, she was still checking social media for anything suspicious, and there was nothing so far. Maybe they wouldn't come tonight. But they also may not announce when they would be there, after all, they would be announcing a trespass crime on social media.
Once the last employee left, Saphira quickly gathered her flashlight and the tablet to start making her rounds quickly. She checked the back door first and made her way to the loading dock. She knew she did not wait for any of the animatronics to show up, but she felt like she had to be on top of everything tonight since she knew it could be full of blood and death. And she was not looking forward to that at all. She hoped she would not have to see or hear any of it, but she had doubts that she would get that decency.
After checking the loading dock, she made her way to the kitchen. She hummed to herself and sniffed the air as there was still the aroma of pizza in the air. She smiled to herself as she entered the kitchen and made her way to the side door. She heard the footsteps of the animatronics in the attraction, and she knew that they would likely be looking for her. She doubts that they would not be too worried about finding her.
"Ah! There you are!" Saphira smiled and turned her head as she made sure the door was locked. She saw Toy Bonnie entering the kitchen. "We were all a little surprised you were not in the office. We actually were worried you weren't here, until Springtrap found your sketchbook. I never knew you could draw him so well."
Saphira widened her eyes in surprise when Toy Bonnie told her that Springtrap basically showed them the drawings in her sketchbook. "Uh, well, he is my friend. I have a sketchbook entirely filled with sketches of you and the others as well…"
"But you only have that one dedicated to just him." Toy Bonnie chuckled as Saphira rolled her eyes and walked towards the cold rooms and freezers. He followed her happily. "I'm just teasing you, Saphira. However, the reason why we wanted to find you is because of the trespassers who could show up tonight."
"Yeah, I know. I have already found evidence online that some individuals plan on sneaking in for the alcohol." Saphira entered the hallway by the cold rooms and freezers, and opened the doors to check them to make sure there was not another body in them. "And I have been on the lookout for evidence of when they might try to enter."
"Ooh, another bunch of teenagers looking for the wrong thing in the wrong place," Toy Bonnie said with a groan. "Why is it when kids grow into teenagers, they turn into idiots?" Saphira looked at him and blinked with a smile, making Toy Bonnie realize that she was still a teenager. "Uh…well, I know not all teenagers are idiots…because you are not. But…some are."
"Yeah, some are, I agree. It is just that silly phase, really." Saphira chuckled a little as she was amused by Toy Bonnie as she walked to the other end to head towards the main dining room. "Though, most grow out of it. I never really got the chance to experience the silly phase, but I see it often." She turned her head and smiled when she saw Springtrap as she walked into the main dining room. "Sorry if I made you worry before. I just wanted to…" She gasped when she heard the alert on the tablet and hit reboot. "Seems like this tablet's scarier than you at times."
Springtrap chuckled as she walked towards the front door. "Being compared to that is kind of insulting, but I will let that go this time." She grinned at him, amused by his comment. "However, I had figured that is what you were doing when I saw your things in the office. I was worried for nothing."
"You definitely were. I am just wanting to get this all out of the way before anything happens. I'd rather be in my office than out here if someone was to show up. Especially since I saw something on the internet about some teenagers wanting to break in and steal alcohol." Springtrap groaned and rolled his eyes. "And it seems like, from what Toy Bonnie said, that it is a common occurrence."
The animatronic nodded. "Yeah…at least twice monthly, we get people trying to access the alcohol. The rest just want to try and bother us." Springtrap sniffed loudly, which surprised Saphira. "However, I have been noticing a strange scent ever since the staff left. There's two, actually."
"What do you mean by strange?" Saphira looked at him with a frown. "Like…someone is hiding somewhere?"
Springtrap glanced at Saphira and shrugged. "I don't know. If I knew, I would not want to alarm you."
Toy Bonnie sniffed the air and his ears twitch as he widened his eyes in surprise. "Hey, you're right. That's cologne that I smell…someone is definitely here. Where did you start smelling this, Springtrap?"
"About nine-thirty…just after Saphira started her shift. I noticed the strange cologne in the Haunted Classroom, but I thought nothing of it. Lots of men wear cologne…though this one is weird…it's strong…and yet it smells kind of like bad blood." Springtrap glanced around and sighed. "It is messing with my sense of smell. If someone is here, the cologne is pretty much everywhere."
Saphira suddenly felt nervous. If someone had sprayed something that would mess the sense of smell with the animatronics, that meant they did it deliberately. Especially if they were still here. "Well…Mike left just after nine-thirty…so it could not be him."
"No, we would have seen him," Springtrap said as he glanced around before tensing slightly with his ears twitching. "Hmm…I hope you don't mind that I stick to you like glue tonight. I think I should…and it might be a good idea to secure Chica's Love Chapel should these teenagers do break in. And I do believe they will. I do not know much about the internet, other that it seems to give away a lot about someone's motives if they share it."
"You are not wrong about that." Saphira walked up the door and paused as she thought she saw something in the reflection of the glass. And she was right, she saw the shadow of movement behind her. As she had noticed, she saw Fredbear walk into the main dining room, near where the movement was. "I would advise you to look around. I think I saw something by Fredbear's dining hall door."
Fredbear turned as he heard the sound of movement and he saw someone. "Aha!" He quickly followed the person and Saphira heard the loud sound of his footsteps, along with the scurrying footsteps of whoever he was chasing. "You smell so bad of that cologne!"
Springtrap was tempted to follow Fredbear, but he remained with Saphira as she checked the door, making sure it was locked. Freddy, Bonnie and Foxy followed Fredbear quickly and he glanced at Saphira as she turned to look at him. "So much for nothing to happen while you are checking the doors." She nodded and opened her mouth to speak, only to tense and widen her eyes when she heard the sound of screaming. She covered her ears and Springtrap placed his hands over hers to help cover them from the sound. "Alright, let's wait a moment and we'll head to the Love Chapel."
Saphira didn't hear Springtrap, though she was relieved he helped her to block out the sound. He lifts his hands after a few minutes, and she swallowed nervously. "Thank you…I…I was expecting it, but I still don't…" Saphira shrugged and shook her head. "Whatever…let's get going…as long as I don't walk into a bloody mess."
"I would say we should take the longer way to Chica's Love Chapel," Springtrap suggests with a smile. "It is best as I think the person ran into the Haunted Classroom…but I am not sure." He placed a hand on her shoulder and gestured for her to move forward. "I'll be right beside you, Saphira."
She knew that. She was happy Toy Bonnie remained, and he seemed concerned. "Hmm…" Springtrap looked at the animatronic curiously. "I actually saw them…it looked like they were…" Toy Bonnie frowned and glanced at Saphira. "Watching you."
"Me?"
Toy Bonnie nodded. "Yeah…their whole body was covered in black, so I don't know if they were really looking at you, or just us in general." That did not comfort Saphira much at all. Chica walked over to them as she had not followed Fredbear like Freddy, Bonnie and Foxy. "But you don't need to worry about it now, he's dead."
"Unless there are more." Saphira walked ahead of them and glanced at Chica. "Uh…would you mind coming along too?"
"Not at all…I was just going to come here and comment about the weird cologne too. Seems like we found the culprit…but there might be more." Chica smiled at her and followed Saphira with Springtrap keeping close to her. "I am surprised you were able to see that person in the reflection, Saphira. You have good eyes."
"Yeah, well…I guess the lighting was just right." Saphira let the animatronics lead her through the kitchen to a different hallway to Chica's Love Chapel. "And a lucky guess…it could have been my imagination after all."
"Well, it was a good call." Toy Bonnie placed a hand on her shoulder. "How about once we check and clear the adult area, I go and have Toy Chica make you a nice cup of hot, chocolate with cinnamon and a chocolate cake? I believe that will help you distress a lot."
Saphira smiled and glanced at Toy Bonnie. "I would like that, thank you…" She walked through the door into the hallway just out of the love chapel and paused as she heard the sound of someone scurrying away. "I think I…AHHH!" She jumped back into Springtrap's chest as a knife flew in front of her face, hitting the brick wall and falling loudly. "What…what the…someone just threw that at me!" She took a deep breath as Springtrap held her as Toy Bonnie and Chica both listen to the scurrying footsteps. "I'd rather not get hurt tonight!"
Springtrap growled gently, surprising and startling Saphira at the same time. "Let me go and deal with him…" He looked at with concern. "You will be okay with Chica and Toy Bonnie?" She nodded and Springtrap walked away quickly. "I'll make sure he knows attacking you will be the worst mistake he ever made!"
Saphira watched Springtrap walk away. He was walking briskly, though his shoulders were tense and he was walking like he meant business. The aura was intimidating. She was glad he was her friend, or she would be scared. She walked towards the door and noticed it was open slightly. "Hmm…seems like someone is…" She gasped as Toy Bonnie and Chica hiss and turned to see Toy Bonnie lunging at a person, pinning them down and holding his hand over the man's mouth. Again, wearing all black. "Uh, um…I…" She grimaced as she heard the man screaming and hitting Toy Bonnie's arms and she ducked into the door quickly when Toy Bonnie grabbed the man's neck and snapped it. She felt her stomach churn. "Please don't do that in front of me again."
"Sorry…we'll get him away," Toy Bonnie said gently as she heard the sound of the body being moved away. "We might use that basement again tonight if we have to. We are hungry for flesh tonight…but just in case."
Saphira nodded and turned when she heard the sound of laughter from the bar. She took a deep breath, wiping the sweat from her forehead and shining her light down the hallway of the chapel towards the bar. She walked towards it, hearing at least five boys laughing and the sound of bottles being opened, and one falling and breaking. She definitely was not happy. She forgot to check social media, but she didn't have time to.
She walked into the bar and glanced around before spotting the seventeen-year-old with blonde hair, freckles, blue eyes and prescription glasses. He used to be her friend, and he was one of the worst to bully her. However, she felt like he should leave to not die. "Aaron?" The boy looked up in surprise, as did the other four boys. "What the hell are you doing here?"
