Hey readers! Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have just went on a Royal Caribbean cruise and I disconnected from writing most of the time during the week. I am back now though, and I will keep writing. Happy reading!

It was Sunday, and Saphira could not help but feel happy that she completed a whole week working at Fazbear Horror and Pizzeria Attraction. She woke up feeling like it had been a dream, but she knew it has not. She checked the time and saw she overslept a little. But that was okay, she had a few hours until her shift would start, so sleeping in wasn't a big deal at all. She got up, showered and got herself dressed and ready for another shift.

Saphira made sure to pack a few extra things to take with her to the attraction. She also was deciding on whether she should see this library of diaries that Golden Bonnie found. She knew it could be risky in checking it out and reading through the diaries, but it would make her learn more about Mister Afton. She didn't even know what he looked like.

She left the house an hour before her shift to make her way to the attraction and put on Evanescence to sing along to on the way as it was one of her favorite bands. As she drove through the city, she thought about what she would do tonight. She didn't want to focus on just Mister Afton, as she knew that it might not make the night good. She thought about doing more drawing with the animatronics, but she wasn't sure. She figured she would work that out when it was after midnight.

When Saphira arrived, the lot was packed as usual. However, she spotted the black RAM truck sitting right by the back door of the attraction. Saphira felt a sense of worry and parked her car in a spot away from the door, deciding it was best to not be close to that truck as she knew Mister Afton could do something with her so close to the truck. Plus, she somewhat wanted to see what he looked like.

But after waiting for fifteen minutes, she saw she had fifteen minutes before she had to start anyway, so she would have to make her way to the attraction. She thought about going through the front door so she would be around people, but she wasn't sure if that was even a good idea too. So she got out of the car and made her way over to the back door, feeling extremely nervous about walking in.

She bolted behind a wall when the door opened and she peered around the corner to see a man with short, dusty, blonde hair and tan skin walk open with a huff. She saw he was wearing a very dark jacket, she thought it was black, but it could also be a different color. "Since nothing has worked, we will wait until I bring the nightmares in a couple weeks!" His angry, rough voice snapped.

"I hope they won't be a failure like Springtrap is!" She heard Mike snap back, making the man turn and glare at the door. "You told me he would be the most ruthless, and he has been up until now. Now he's gone soft on that girl.

"I must say the turn of events is intriguing though," Mister Afton said with a devious smile. "As much as I hate this girl, I am also inclined to allow this to continue. But I have been filling the image of the girl in the brains of the nightmares, I hope it will be enough for them to snap her pretty, little neck."

"They better! As much as she seems nice, I fear she's already catching on."

"Oh, she definitely is. My little spies have shared so much information with me already." Little spies?! "She's smart for someone who almost killed herself." He knows about that?! "I was hoping Springtrap's anger to her would have done the job, but I guess a part of him could not do it. It's a flaw, but it's not like I can replace his brain."

"What about the others you plan to make?" Mike questions bluntly. "You said they would not be coming here. Why is that?"

Mister Afton shrugged and opened the driver side door. "I have my reasons, Mike. You will not understand because you are just a simpleton like me. All I will say is this…" He looked at Mike with a dark glare. "Do not wedge yourself between Springtrap and Saphira. Let me handle it. Your little idea for last night failed, and three people are dead because of it. I am more than happy to pin you as the murderer."

Mike grumbled loudly for a moment. "So what are we to do? Do nothing? I just hate to think that she has gone through files in my cabinet. They're not exactly locked up."

Mister Afton laughed loudly. "I think you may find she's already dipped into it. She knew that the animatronics were made somehow. And she might find the secret basements and attics around the place…but unlikely, unless she knows what to look for." He stepped into the car and looked at Mike with a warning. "Make sure that Saphira stays. She belongs to us now. If she survives the nightmares, I will think of something else. I already have my little Freddles ready, they're in the vents and they will do some pretty good damage." He moved to close the door and smiled for a moment. "Oh, and one more thing. I am adding another room to the attraction. One I know Saphira and Springtrap will use…especially if things get hot and heavy between them."

Mike did not say anything before chuckling. "I wonder how she will feel about him when she finds out about some of his…well...evil deeds with women…" Saphira hitched her breath and looked away, widening her eyes in shock. "You had best leave, sire. Saphira will arrive at any moment now."

The man just chuckled and closed the door before starting his truck and driving out of the lot. The back door closed and Saphira stood there in shock. She didn't know if she wanted to believe what she just heard about Springtrap. He had mentioned he was cruel to humans who enter the attraction, but she never though of…sexual assault. She almost wanted to cry, but she kept it together for the moment. She thought about confronting him later about it, but she was worried about his reaction.
But she also worried that by confronting Springtrap, Mister Afton would know she had heard what was being said. That was well and truly the last thing that she wanted. She knew this was really going to sour the night by whjat she overheard, and she hoped that when she did ask Springtrap about it, he would tell her. She knew he might not have done it to many…but she was well aware they had the right equipment for intimacy, and it could extend to humans.

Saphira waited a few minutes before walking through the back door like nothing had happened. She remained as relaxed and normal as she possibly could. She could hear Mike moving about in the office and she hesitated to walk into the same room as that man. Especially after what she had heard. But she couldn't stand in the hallway forever, that would again get suspicion. She did not want that, even though Mister Afton was onto her. And she was definitely worried about what he was capable of.

She walked into the office and gasped loudly in fright when she almost walked right into Mike. "Oh my…you scared the life out of me!" She exclaimed, placing a hand on her chest while the man chuckled lightly at her. His uncanny ability to switch from cold and angry to warm and happy was unnerving. She noticed he had his things together and gave him a curious expression. "I see you are on your way out."

"Yeah, I am." Mike walked around her and looked at her. "Sorry that I can't wait around. I have finished my work and I'm ready to head home." He smiled at her. "Good on you for deciding to stick around, Saphira. I will give you your paycheck tomorrow night. Tonight should be quiet, though there's always a chance for an unexpected trespasser."

Saphira wondered if Mike was going to wherever Mister Afton had gone, but she guessed he could also be leaving for another reason. "I guess we will see. Last night was a busy night dealing with a few trespassers, but I dealt with them rather well."

"I'm sure you did." Mike turned and walked towards the back door. "You have a good night, Saphira. I'll see you tomorrow."

Saphira heard the door open and close, giving her a moment to relax. She clocked into her shift and put her stuff down before sitting and thinking. What she heard from both Mike and Afton was disturbing and she didn't know how she felt about it at all. Especially learning about something she would never have wanted to know about Springtrap. She had no doubt he would not have ever wanted to tell her, and she truthfully would have preferred to never know about it. But now she knew, she just didn't know what to think.

She still wanted to be a friend to him, but her recent attraction to him has faltered for the time being. If, at some point, he tells her about it and he feels some kind of remorse, she would definitely forgive him. If not, she might not look at him the same way again. And she couldn't help but wonder if the others have done the same.

Those two men have messed up my day…

Saphira checked through the cameras and found Springtrap in the Haunted Classroom, and he saw him trying to interact with some kids. And she saw some parents trying to get their toddler to say hi to him, but the kid was screaming and trying to escape. Springtrap looked very uncomfortable. Saphira sighed and just waited for twelve to come around. She ended up listening to music for the next few hours until the guests left and the last of the employees leave.

When it was twelve, Saphira gathered her flashlight and went about doing her regular checks of the building. She hummed softly to herself as she made her way through the attraction to the loading docks. She didn't know how to think and feel tonight, and she didn't what to let what she learned about Springtrap get to her.

She checked the loading docks side door and made her way towards the kitchen. She knew she wanted to ask Golden Bonnie about the library of diaries she found as she was curious to know more about Afton. She did not know if she would like what she would see, but that didn't really matter as she wanted to know who he is without officially meeting the man. Though she knew that it was likely that she would meet him at some point in the future.

"There you are." Saphira flinched when she heard Springtrap's voice and turned to look at him with a smile. "Hmm, I guess I was able to sneak up on you after all." She nodded and kept walking and the animatronic followed. "Is everything okay? You seem to be…not yourself. Is it about last night? I know we were pretty rough with your former bullies, but…"

"Don't worry, it has nothing to do with that, Springtrap," Saphira interrupts as she walked into the kitchen to check the small door. "It is more me than you. I'm just…having a moment where I just need time to think."

"Oh? It sounds like something serious. Should I be worried?" She shook her head. "I hope that I don't need to be worried. Nonetheless, I was wondering what your plans were for tonight. I was thinking we could do sketching again, or of you brought paint, you could teach me how to paint."

"I do have some plans, though they may not necessarily be something you were hoping for." Saphira walked over to the side door to check it. "I want to ask Golden Bonnie about getting into the library that she found accidentally."

"Oh, about the Afton diaries…" Springtrap definitely was not happy that was the first thing that Saphira wanted to do. However, he was not going to stop her from going into the hidden room and reading through the diaries. "I still think you should not keep learning more about him."

"I know you think it might be a waste, but I don't feel that way. The more I know his motives and thoughts, the better." Saphira knew she couldn't find anything to fight against Afton. But understanding him more was something she wanted to know, but after tonight, she did not know if it was possible the diaries were even really his diaries and something that was fake. "I don't think I will be in there the entire shift though, Springtrap. I'm sure I'll think of something else that we can do."

"Good, I think you should not be thinking about this person too much," Springtrap said as Saphira turned away from the door and made her way towards the hallway of the cold rooms and freezers so she could check them. "But do you think we can do sketching again?"

"I think we should, yes. But…I should let you know, Afton was here just before I clocked in for my shift." Springtrap was shocked when he heard that from Saphira. "I overhead him and Mike talking about a few things that were concerning and I feel that I have to find these diaries now."

"Okay, I was not expecting that." Springtrap watched Saphira walk over to the cold rooms and freezers and he stepped closer to stop her. "I checked these already."

Saphira flinched away from him and smiled at him. "I like to have the peace of mind knowing that these are free from human bodies."

Springtrap noticed that Saphira had flinched away from him. He was surprised and worried. "Um…I hate to ask, but what did Afton and Mike talk about?"

Saphira opened the first door with a sigh. "I was surprised that you were designed to me the most ruthless of the animatronics. That's what you were designed for from the start, but you met me and you didn't live up to their expectations until I left."

Springtrap listened quietly, and he was a bit unconvinced since Saphira wouldn't be flinching away from him based on that. "I guess when they made use with a brain, feelings and knowing what is right and wrong, they should have expected I wouldn't be what they wanted. But…I guess you leaving did make me behave badly…" Saphira just nodded and moved onto checking the next cold room and freezer. "They said something specific, right?"

Saphira shrugged. "Nothing really. But Afton is both angry and intrigued by how this is working out. He's going to now wait until the nightmare animatronics arrive and hope that they do the job that you couldn't."

Springtrap still didn't believe her. "Saphira, I am not sure what they said, but you are afraid of me. Well, afraid of me touching you." Saphira shrugged as she finished checking the freezers and kept walking. "I want you to tell me what they said about me."

"You are overthinking it, Springtrap." Saphira was getting annoyed and nervous about his insistent questioning. She guessed that he was worried about their friendship. "You and I are still friends. I just need the time to process what I heard…"

"Oh no…" Saphira stopped and looked at Springtrap in surprise. He had a very guilty, remorseful expression. "Don't tell me they said something about what I've done to…that girl…" Saphira raised an eyebrow, surprised he wanted bringing it up. "If they did, I promise it was only once. And I don't know what I was thinking…it was roughly four years after you left and these teenage girls trespassed and they mocked me. And I…I…" Springtrap looked away from her. "I did kill them…but not before I…I…after that, I stopped eating…because I was ashamed of what I did…"

Saphira was definitely not expecting him to speak about it today. "Okay…yes they mentioned that. They said there was more than one though, are they wrong?" Springtrap nodded. "I hope they are wrong…but…yes, they mentioned it. I didn't want to say anything about it, Springtrap. Mostly because…"

Springtrap stepped closer to her and placed his hands on her shoulders. "Does this mean…our friendship changes? I don't want you to think that I am a monster, Saphira. But I know that I am…I am designed to be one." He moved his hands off her shoulders and Saphira did not know what he was thinking right now. Springtrap stared at her for a moment before he walked around her. "I am sorry…it was something I had hesitated to tell you…but you know now…and there is nothing I can do about it." He looked at her with sad eyes. "What did I do to deserve you as a friend?"

Saphira watched as he walked away out into the hallway to Haunted Classroom. She stood there and she felt guilty. She didn't mean to make Springtrap feel less about himself and how their relationship was, but she also didn't want him to work out that was the reason why she was flinching away from him.

She sighed and made her way to the main dining room to head to the front doors. "I see something has upset Springtrap again." Saphira grimaced when she heard Fredbear's voice. "He told me why." She looked at the large yellow bear animatronic as he approached. "I remember that night clearly, myself. It certainly was not something Springtrap was proud of. It was his lowest moment. And unfortunately, he wanted to torture the girl, and he tortured himself after as well."

Saphira looked away from him as she walked towards the front door. "I am glad he shows remorse…if he didn't…I think I would feel different. I guess if it was out of his character, I understand. I am sure that Afton and Mike would say differently…"

"I suspect we are all disappointments, Saphira. I don't think even I have lived up to their expectations. But we have freewill to think and feel what we want, regardless of our personality." Saphira could not disagree with Fredbear at all. "I hope you and Springtrap's friendship does not falter because of this. I think you and him have the best relationship, and I would hate this to be the reason why it splits you apart."

"It won't. I hope Springtrap will realize that." Saphira walked up to the front door, and hummed when she saw the front door open slightly. "Hmm, this is unlocked and opened slightly. I don't suppose anyone has been here recently?"

Fredbear sniffed for a moment and shook his head. "No, just scents of the guests and employees who were here tonight."

Saphira was happy to hear that as she proceeded to lock the door. "One less thing to…" She frowned when she spotted Afton's truck parked at the end of the lot. "What is Afton's truck doing here? He left when I arrived."

Fredbear stepped closer, looking out and seeing the RAM as well. "That belongs to Mister Afton?" Saphira nodded. "That is weird. If he left when you arrived, he shouldn't be here…unless he has a plan."

Saphira shrugged, but she felt nervous. "I'd better check the systems in the office before I head to see Golden Bonnie."

"I will come with you," Fredbear said, backing away from the glass door and turning to follow Saphira. "If he has a plan, it could start at the office, and I want to make sure you don't get hurt."

Saphira fully appreciated that. She hoped that the rest of the shift would go well. She suspected Springtrap fled to the bathroom that he had hid in before, but she would check there later. Fredbear was likely right, and she didn't particularly like it. She definitely would prefer that there wasn't a threat tonight, but Afton could potentially know that she had eavesdropped too…and that might be bad. She shuddered at the thought as she made her way back to the office, not knowing if the rest of the night would be good.
