The next day, Saphira was still working on what to do Friday night. Now that it was Thursday, Saphira was preparing to make use of the tracker to place on Afton's truck, even though she had not worked out what to do the next night. She was curious about what Afton and Mike will do since she discovered the camera the previous night. She was not sure if she should be nervous or not. But she knew she could not refuse to go to the attraction. Not that she didn't want to.

Saphira also had to think about the sketch that Springtrap had drawn of her the night before. What he drew said a lot about his thoughts and feelings about her. He saw her as beautiful. Her of all people. Saphira didn't even know how to feel. And yet, she also knew what to feel at the same time. It felt like she was literally rejecting and accepting feelings at the same time. It was a juggle that she didn't fully understand.

She decided to mostly focus on what she could face tonight, and if Afton had any kind of special plan for her. She really hoped that he didn't, as she didn't want to deal with it. Unless he was happy with her decision last night, she would still be cautious. She was lucky her schoolwork hasn't suffered, and in fact, she finished the last of her assignments. She just now needed to get them marked and hope that she would graduate with high scores. She knew that it didn't matter since she wasn't going to college, but it would just feel good to achieve it.

When it was finally time to go, Saphira got herself dressed and made her way downstairs. Her sister was in bed at this time and her parents were in their room. She was happy that she didn't hear them worrying about her working at the attraction. She knew they still worried, but she came home every day and she was safe as far as they knew.

She hummed to herself as she drove her Corolla to the attraction. She was somewhat expecting to see Afton's RAM in the car lot by the time she got there. But she soon arrived and she saw it wasn't there. She was relieved to see that he was not here currently. That still didn't mean too much though.

After she parked her car after finding a park during another busy parking lot. She looked up at the sky as there was some light rain currently. That was quite the weather for tonight. She sighed as she stepped out of the car and walked to the back door quickly. She opened it and stepped inside. She shivered a little as she walked into the office. She noticed Mike was not present here, and she guessed he could be elsewhere. But there was a note on his table. It was addressed to her. She was curious as she picked up the note to read.

Evening Saphira, I apologize for not meeting you tonight at the attraction. I have been pulled away by Afton. He's contacted me for a personal meeting and I have to attend. I am afraid I will not be there to greet you, and go over a few things that are necessary before the new animatronics arrive.

These things are not something you need to be alarmed about. As I cannot be there to talk to you about it, just go through the night as normal. I will likely not see you until next week. This is because Afton needs me for additional business matters. There are talks about renovations later in the year. I will be discussing things with you soon. Have a good night.

Saphira couldn't help but smile a little as she read it. It seemed Afton was going to deal with him. She didn't know what he will do exactly, but that was not her problem. But a talk about renovations? She wondered if that was a code for something else. She didn't want to read into it too deeply at this time, but she will remember it.

Saphira sat down and relaxed. She stretched her arms and relaxed. She didn't know what the night was going to be like. She didn't even know if what Mike had written to be true. Especially the part about some special things to do before the new animatronics arrive. She doubted there was any special reason.

However, she did worry that Mike might have left something in the pizzeria that she wouldn't like. He might not have, but it was possible. Mike obviously has been here today, or the note would never have been left here. She would certainly be careful when she went around to check the doors tonight. He no doubt knew she had found the room filled with bleach, and he would not be happy. But that would really depend on Afton as well.

She casually checked the security cameras and there was nothing that stuck out to her, aside from the fact there were new cameras in the Bedroom of Nightmares. She wasn't surprised, but she was happy that she could see into the new area. She saw there were new items in the area, and it was clear that they were all set up now for when guests were allowed inside. She didn't know when the opening for this new area would happen, but she assumed next week.

There was not much else to do other than wait for midnight again. Saphira at least knew she could wear black Friday night, even if that wouldn't necessarily help her. She began to look up the streets near the pizzeria and found she could easily make use of the nearby streets, so that way Afton would not see her. That would depend on what road he decided to the drive along, of course. But she needed to make fast and hard plans as Friday was only a day away.

When it hit eleven-thirty, the attraction was empty of both guests and employees, allowing Saphira an early start on checking the doors. She grabbed the tablet and her flashlight to walk through the familiar hallway to do her round. She couldn't help but feel a little bored about it now, but it was part of her job. She needed to make sure that she did it, even though the animatronics probably would not complain about more trespassers.

She thought about calling out to them to come and give her company, but Saphira didn't know if she should do that or not. They would come to her as she knew they would know where she was going to go, it was no secret. She made her way to the loading dock first as she always does, before going to the kitchen. Still no Springtrap or Bonnie this time. She was not bothered as she would be heading to the main dining room anyway soon.

When she entered the main dining room though, Saphira was surprised when she heard the sound of an electric piano playing suddenly. However, she quickly realized the tune as it was one of her favorite songs from the eighties and she chuckled as she looked at the stage. Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Toy Chica, Toy Bonnie and Toy Freddy were all upon the stage, and she saw that Toy Chica was playing the electric piano. Freddy and Toy Freddy both held their microphones to sing together.

'I get up and nothin' gets me down,
You got it tough, I've seen the toughest around.
And I know, baby, just how you feel,
You got to ro-o-oll with the punches and get to what's real.

Ah, can't you see me standin' here?
I got my back against the record machine.
I ain't the worst that you've seen,
Ah, can't you see what I mean?

Ah, might as well jump (jump!)
Might as well jump!
Go ahead and jump (jump!)
Go ahead and jump!'

Saphira smiled as she couldn't help but dance to the song. She spotted Springtrap as he was smiling at her. She chuckled softly as she ran over to him and hugged him. Springtrap hugged her back as he knew that she was happy. This was clearly a way to make up for missing out on some karaoke she had wanted to do the night before. And they went out of their way to surprise her. Especially as it would be a great party for them.

"Evening, Saphira," Springtrap said gently as he rubbed her head gently. "We figured you wouldn't mind a little party after last night. And we all decided that we would surprise you." She chuckled a little as she leaned back, looking at the stage with a smile. "Plus, we were able to get set up pretty early tonight."

"I don't mind at all. This is great, and Jump is one of my favorite songs too." She walked around Springtrap as she walked towards the front door. "I just need to check on the front door first, and I will come back and join the party."

"Working hard, as usual," Fredbear teased gently as Saphira walked past him. "Oh, just one thing…" She stopped and looked at him in surprise. "I noticed a group of people ruffling around in the garbage bins outside. Is that going to be a problem?"

She scrunched up her nose slightly as she assumed it was either homeless people, or people just looking for trouble. Either way, she was going to assume that they stink. "I hope not. If they come in…uh…ew, that would be horrible. They'll probably stink of beer or something."

"Well, I figured that I would warn you. They were dressed in rugged clothes, and I think they might try to come in. Especially through the bedroom window as it is still open." She wasn't surprised. She doubted anyone was allowed in that bleach, filled room. "It still has a strong smell of bleach, but not as bad as last night."

"I think it will be a few days before the smell is fully cleared out," Saphira said as she approached the front door. She checked it before moving to check the side closest to the large bins outside. She looked out the window and she saw there were at least twelve people going through the bin. She grimaced and turned away. "Yuck…I'm going to just party."

She walked back into the main dining room and smiled as she saw Foxy dancing around Mangle. He looked like he was trying to get her to dance with him, and it was quite cute and funny to watch at the same time. Phantom Chica and Phantom Mangle were talking together while Phantom Freddy walked over to Springtrap.

"I should say to you, Saphira, that Mike was only here for half a day before he left," Phantom Freddy said as she danced happily to the music. "He got a phone call while he was walking through the Haunted Classroom, and I don't think I have ever seen color drain from that man's face so fast before. I am going to assume Afton had something to do with it."

"I kind of knew something happened. There was a note left in the office from him. He won't be here until next week sometime." She shrugged as she didn't really care about that. "I think he's going through hell, and I don't want to care or think about that now. I am just wondering what we should do to welcome the new animatronics tomorrow."

"You still want to make them feel welcome?" Springtrap asked curiously. She nodded affirmatively. "I know I am not surprised, but a part of me is still worried about the potential danger that these animatronics might pose to you, Saphira."

"I know. And while I don't think a party like this would be best idea, we should let them know that I don't think of them as a monster. I'll admit, even though I was kind of creeped out by Nightmare Bonnie's design, I think I will get along with him just fine. Hopefully." She shrugged and looked at Phantom Freddy. "Too bad you guys don't really have a stage. I kind of want to negotiate giving you guys a stage."

Phantom Freddy chuckled lightly. "Thanks, but my singing is horrible. My vocal cords are not designed for singing. You can here just how croaky and dry my voice is, right?" She nodded. "No matter how many times I try to clear my voice, I will always have this voice. It is always bothersome to me, but there is little I can do."

She chuckled softly at him. "I guess I forget. You might not necessarily need it for singing, but scary stories might be something. Unless, of course, that is going to be something that will happen in the Bedroom of Nightmares."

"We kind of already do, but just not much since people run more than they hang around and listen," Phantom Freddy said with a smile. "There are a lot of stories that I have up my sleeve that I would love to tell, but I cannot because of it. But it is nice that you want us to have more attention."

She smiled as she knew that the animatronics did notice when they get treated different between each other, but at least they had her. She looked at the stage at the animatronics were almost finished singing Jump. "Are we going to be partying all night?"

"Don't you want to?" Springtrap asked curiously, surprised that she would ask the question. "We might as well destress after the last few nights, Saphira." He placed his arms around her and pulled her closer for a hug, surprising Saphira a little. "I think it is good for you as well, Saphira. I know humans are happier when they have a bit of time to themselves."

"Yeah, I suppose." Saphira was starting to wonder if karaoke was a good idea now. She liked the song, but singing and dancing was something that suddenly made her shy. She wasn't used to this at all. In fact, it was reminding her a lot of her time here as a child. She felt tears in her eyes as she thought back about it. "I remember dancing here as a kid when they played their songs."

Springtrap widened his eyes and smiled at her, rubbing her arm gently. "Don't feel upset, Saphira. I know what you are feeling, trust me, but were you ever able to dance with us?" She looked at him and shook her head. "Exactly. This isn't what it was when you were a kid. Let yourself enjoy it."

"Yeah…I guess you are right…" Saphira tensed as she heard the sound of multiple pipes falling in the distance, making all the animatronics stop. But these did not sound like they were in any of the hallways, but rather the vents. She groaned and rolled her eyes. "I guess Afton seems to think I don't deserve this." She waited to hear the patter of multiple feet from the Freddles running towards them, but she did not. And there was another clang of a metal sheet. "Is that from the vents?"

Springtrap listened quietly as his ears twitch slightly. Fredbear hummed and walked over to the windows for a moment before gasping and looking back at them. "Those people who were digging through the trash bin are gone."

Golden Bonnie grimaced. "Why did they have to dig through the garbage? That's gross. Even I wouldn't eat people covered in filth."

"If it is them." Freddy stepped off the stage with a loud thump, startling Saphira as she was not expecting that. He walked over with a frown and listened. "I do hear multiple voices though…it wouldn't be the first time we have had to scrub clean our prey. We are thankful there are showers in the bathrooms for us to do that."

"Ew." Saphira grimaced at the very thought. She sighed and rubbed her forehead. "Why must this happen every night?" Springtrap looked at her in surprise. "Why can't we just have one night where things like this don't happen?"

"Uh…we don't have control over that, Saphira," Springtrap responded gently, giving her a sympathetic expression. Saphira knew that and she realized she was being unreasonable towards them. "I would definitely enjoy having a single night without any issues. But since there were a lot of people out there, and they seemed to be adults, you should probably go to the office. It will be safer."

Saphira was still upset about it regardless. She just nodded and turned on her heel. "Are you sure that none of you can come with me?" She asked as she walked towards the door. She jumped slightly when she heard the alert on the tablet to reboot the system and pressed the reboot button.

"It would be best not for the time being," Bonnie said gently as he listened intently. "You'll be able to watch on the cameras where these men are, so you'll know if they are getting closer. If you do need help, scream and shout for us, we will hear you."

She nodded as she knew that they would. She opened the door and looked down the hallway to see if she could see anyone. Nothing so far. She jumped as she heard another loud bang and glass shattering, making her glance back at the animatronics. She was really tempted to run back to Springtrap as she was getting a little too afraid to be left alone. She looked back at them and she saw Springtrap watching her. He gestured for her to go, even though she was hesitating a heap at this time.

She took a deep breath and stepped into the hallway, looking around to hear if anyone was nearby. Nothing. She hoped it would stay that way. She closed the door quietly and walked carefully towards the office. She tensed and ducked to hide against the wall near a beam when she heard more noises. She was really freaking out. If there were trespassers, they were causing a heap of damage to the attraction itself and she didn't like it.

She walked towards the office one shaky legs. She caught the smell of rotten food all of a sudden when she passed by the bathroom door, only to tense as she heard the door open and close behind her. "I apologize for all the noise, but this is something the boss asked us to do." She turned slowly to face a man wearing a black cloak with messy, brown hair and dark blue eyes. There was something weird about his eyes though, they were shaky like he was on drugs or something. "Mister Afton seems to think you are playing the game well. Too well…" Mister Afton? What? Saphira backed away nervously as she saw the man pull an axe out from his cloak. "You discovered something about Mike Schmidt, and he is very pleased. Mike will be taken care of, and he'll fall under his full control like me."

He's brainwashed! Oh shit!

She backed up some more from the man. "So…you are just delivering a message for me…right?" She glanced up at the vent nearby and spotted a Freddle watching. She looked at the man again nervously. "So aside from Mike…what more do you have for me?"

The man looked at her and she stepped back as his eyes almost looked like they turned pitch black suddenly as the pupils dilate and he tensed his hands around the axe. "You are correct on the message. The nightmares will be here tomorrow, but than the real game begins. You and Springtrap are the experiment, and you have twelve months to achieve the prize."

"Prize?" Saphira did not understand at all. "What prize? I d-d-don't understand…" She let out a scream as the man lunged at her and pushed her against the wall, pressing the handle of the axe against her chest. "Uh, i-if you w-w-want me to a-a-achieve the prize, w-w-what must I do?"

"You already know," The man replied simply. "Subconsciously, you already know." She did not understand, but she did not say anything either. "You see, Mister Afton has already found a way to live forever." She frowned a little as she listened to him. "He took inspiration from the animatronics he has made. He has taken parts of himself off, and put new pieces back on."

"What?" Saphira thought that was impossible. "But why?"

"To become leader of this world, you have to somehow become some kind of god, right?" The man said with a grin that sent shivers down her spines. "That is why the animatronics were made. To bring that to him. And you are only the means of helping him achieve it. If you wish to live with your previous Springtrap for ever, you will do just that. You have twelve months, or your life will be forfeit."

But what does he mean? Will I end up doing what he wants anyway?

"What kind of game are we even playing?" Saphira asked with a frown. "Name a board game, any game, and I might understand what he wants me to do."

The man chuckled coldly at her. "A board game is not going to help you, pretty little thing." She grimaced at his comment, making her stomach twist. She knew Afton already made it clear to her he wanted her to do something for her, but she did not remember if he had given her a time limit. "Think of it simply. You keep coming to a place where animatronics are living, breathing beings with flesh and beating hearts inside them. They must eat humans to survive, no matter the age or gender of the human. You have empathy for them. You have feelings for them." She whimpered a little and tried to struggle against the man. "And those feelings will turn into the weapon that Afton will control. And you have no choice by to follow."

"S-So…e-e-everything that h-happens from now, will be allowed and manipulated by Afton?" Saphira asked in uncertainty. The man just nodded affirmatively. "Oh, I see…uhh…um…and you probably know you're going to die, right?"

"Probably." The man did not care, but he was too brainwashed to care, it would seem. "Afton just wanted me to relay this message to you. It was important, he said. And delivering it was the only thing needed." He shoved her onto the ground, and Saphira scrambled to her feet to run from him. "Uh, uh, uh, uhhh…" He threw his axe at her suddenly. She moved to the right just as the blade grazed her left ear, making her grimace and place her hand over her ear. The axe hits a metal can, knocking it and multiple cans over loudly. "Aw, I missed."

Saphira heard him run after her and she ran from him. She was afraid of what more he might do or say, so she managed to scoop up the axe and swing it around quickly, yelping as she successfully slammed the axe into the man's neck, making her let go of the axe in shock as blood spilled out. The man stumbled to the ground, smirking as he placed his hand on the axe. She stared at him and moved away from him slowly.

"One more thing," He managed to grunt out of his mouth as it filled with blood. "You have done a good job, and Afton wants to make things easier for you to succeed in getting your prize. Mike already told you about the renovations, right?" She nodded with a frown. "Good man. Heh." She wanted to lock herself in a small room at this point as she felt her chest tighten in panic. "You'll know more about them soon enough. After Halloween."

Saphira wanted to know what that meant, but she didn't even get a chance to ask at the man suddenly pushed the axe further into his neck, making her turn away as she heard the sickening crunch of his neck breaking as he pushed with a heap of force and heard his body fall to the floor. She took deep breaths and walked over to the vent, looking up at it. She saw the Freddle still watching her, and she needed answers.

"What do you want from me?" She asked in a small voice. "You keep telling me, but I don't understand." The Freddle had laughter coming from it, and she recognized it as Afton's. "I…I…I don't understand."

"You will." That was all that responded to her from the Freddle before the little animatronic ran from the vent.

She wanted to yell after it, but Saphira felt lightheaded suddenly. She stumbled back against the wall and slid onto her knees. She held her head as her vision blurred a little. She didn't know why, until she check the tablet and saw the ventilation system needed rebooting. She hit the reboot button and rubbed her forehead. She let out some sobs of frustration. She knew she was cornered into something she didn't want to do, and she didn't understand either. But there was no choice in the matter. She had to do what Afton wanted or she would be killed.

"Saphira?!" She jumped as she heard the confused shouts from Springtrap when he opened the door. He saw the man laying on the ground with the axe in his neck. He ran over to Saphira and she flinched as he knelt beside her. "Are you okay? I…I am sorry. You didn't scream for us. We were busy chasing eleven men. They're all dead. It seems the twelfth was here."

She let her tears fall and she looked at Springtrap. She was glad he had no blood on him, but she was still upset. "Afton sent them." He widened his eyes in shock. "He sent them with a message. And I don't know what to think."

Springtrap frowned with a light growl and looked at the man. He clenched his hands tightly for a moment and punched the wall beside Saphira suddenly, making her jump and move to the side suddenly away from him. "That does it." She looked at him in confusion. "Do whatever you have to, Saphira. I know you have some plan to deal with Afton. As much as I want you to be safe, he clearly won't allow you to be safe. Even when he wants you to play his little game." Now this was surprising to her. She stared at him as she listened to him. He looked at her with worried eyes, and there was something else that she could not recognize. "At first, I wanted you to be careful. Seeing you hurt and, potentially, dead is not something I want. But now we need to play by his rules. If he wants to play hard, you need to do the same."

"But…" She was already thinking about tomorrow in regarding the nightmare animatronics. She was rethinking it, but Springtrap was practically encouraging her to do it now. "It…i-it is risky."

"No matter what we do now, it will always be risky for you." He placed his hands on her shoulders gently, ignoring the door opening and the surprised gasps of Bonnie, Freddy, Toy Bonnie and Mangle as they enter the hallway. "It is becoming a realization for me. You could die at any time, and it will be because of those monsters." She knew he was right. Afton could kill her at any time. "We might have found something that Afton will punish Mike for, but…it does not matter. That's what it seems to me." Springtrap looked away from her briefly, glancing at the man's body and frowned. "Do what you have to do. If I could, I would leave this attraction to go home with you."

"You…would?" He turned his head to look at her as she stared at him in shock. "But…why? Why would you come home with me?"

"Because…because…" Springtrap pressed his lips together to show he was nervous on what he was about to say. "I know we have only rekindled our friendship in such a short time. I love drawing with you, and I enjoyed seeing you wearing dresses that only looked better on you than they do on the mannequins." She felt her cheeks heat up as she listened to him, only to suddenly feel shy and look away from Springtrap. "I hurt you…yet…you forgave me. I still think I do not deserve such kindness…" He gently placed his finger under her chin and turned her head to make her look at him. "What I am trying to say, Saphira, is…well…I love you."

Saphira stared at him and she felt her heartrate increase. "Wow, he said it," Toy Bonnie commented in shock. She glanced at him as she realized the others have notice. "And about time." Toy Bonnie smiled as he thought that it was great. "And I agree with Springtrap. Do whatever you have to."

Saphira took deep breaths as she tried to calm her heart down. Springtrap's expression softened as he saw she was overwhelmed. "I am sorry that this wasn't the most exciting time to say it…and maybe you have already known how I felt. In fact, I believe you feel the same way. Do you?"

She tensed more as she became nervous. "Uh…um…" She swallowed and her bottom lip trembled. "I…" She looked away from his eyes and glanced at the vent and then the man's body. Afton knows about her feelings, and wants to manipulate it. And the same with Springtrap's. She clenched her eyes shut as she let out some tears. "I…I can't…"

Springtrap frowned a little as he heard her voice. It broke as she spoke, but he was shocked. "W-What do you mean that you can't? I know you feel something for me. You wouldn't be drawing my image in one sketchbook otherwise." She bit her lip as she kept avoiding his gaze. "Or do you only love me as a friend?" She looked at him briefly and looked away again. Springtrap stared at her in shock before standing slowly and stumbling back, seeming lightheaded or his feelings were overwhelmed. "Aren't you going to say anything?"

Saphira looked up at him and looked back down. She felt extremely guilty, but she felt like she could not. She had to fight back against Afton, even though she knew this was hurting Springtrap. "I'm sorry…I can't…Afton…h-he…he said…"

"What?" Springtrap interrupts with a snap. "He said, what?" Saphira pressed herself against the wall as his voice completely changed its tone and he was glaring at her. "Did he tell you not fall for me? Or something else?" She didn't know what to say, other than just look away from him. "Get up." She blinked in surprise before he reached down, making her yelp in surprise. "I said, get up!" He hauled her to her feet and he glared at her. "So this how it will be, huh? You pretended to be my friend, and this is how it is?"

"N-No, that's n-not it at all!" Saphira stuttered nervously. "I…" She rubbed her wrists nervously. "I do care for you, and I think of you as a friend…" Springtrap suddenly stepped back from her and she felt her heart ache as he did that. "Springtrap…" She stepped forward to grab his arms.

"Don't touch me." She froze as he spoke in a slow tone. She stepped back, holding her right wrist nervously as he glared at her. "I don't even know what Afton told you. But…I don't know how you can sit there and not say anything!" Saphira felt a heap of shame at that moment. She wanted to scream and shout what she's learned, but she couldn't. "Fine. Get in the office."

"Springtrap, I think you are…" Bonnie began before Springtrap glared daggers at him. "Look, if Afton had said or done something with that man, then Saphira obviously knows what is going on. We need to trust her."

Springtrap grinds his teeth and turned his head slowly back to Saphira. "I told you, get in the office." She jumped and ran around Springtrap, dashing into the office. He walked towards the door and stood there, looking at her as she held her hands together nervously. His expression changed briefly for a moment, filled with pain, and that hurt to see. But that didn't last long and he glared at her. "You will remain in this office from now on. You can do your usual rounds, but I will not see you anymore." She widened her eyes in shock. "I don't care what the others do, but you don't deserve to see me."

"Springtrap, I am sorry," Saphira said apologetically. "I truly am. I do…"

"Shut up!" She flinched and covered her ears briefly as his shout. "I am done! Just…whatever Afton wants, I don't care what you do anymore. But you will not see me." He stomped away from the door, shoving past Bonnie, Freddy, Toy Bonnie and Mangle, making Mangle yelp as Springtrap shoved her a little too roughly. "You nothing more than the security guard who is meant to stay here. I'll make sure the nightmares know this."

Saphira sat there in disbelief as Springtrap stormed away. She shakes her head, tears fall from her eyes and she looks up at Bonnie was he approached her with a confused expression. "What have I done?" She bit her lip and sobbed. "Bonnie…I…I do love him…I do…"

"Then why did you say that?" Freddy asked as Bonnie pulled Saphira out of the chair to hug her. "Why did you hurt him?"

"Because…Afton is using us," Saphira responded in a small voice. "He wants something from our relationship. I don't what…but…" She sniffled loudly as she wrapped her arms around Bonnie. "I never meant to hurt him like this…I hope he will understand eventually. But I know he won't."

Toy Bonnie shook his head. "This is…such a messed-up situation. I cannot believe that Springtrap just confessed…and Afton ruined it." He took a deep breath and thought about it. "There must be a way for us to tell Springtrap."

"Why does it matter?" Saphira asked bluntly. "I have no chance…not anymore…" She sniffled loudly as she looked at the animatronics. "I am so sorry. I…don't know what to do anymore…at least…not for the next few weeks."

"I would advise you to do what Springtrap says for now," Bonnie said gently as he rubbed her back. "Springtrap needs time. But I want you to tell us exactly what that man told you before you killed him. Was he brainwashed by Afton?" She nodded and he frowned. "Hmm…so were the men we killed…their eyes were wild. It was strange, they seemed to know who we were…regardless, you need to tell us if you want us to help you and Springtrap."

Saphira nodded in agreement. "Okay…you need to know…"

Saphira proceeded to tell the animatronics exactly what the man told her, and what Afton wanted. He wants to rule the world, they already knew that. But he found a way to live forever, they didn't know what that meant. Especially the part that he literally pulls himself apart and puts himself back together. It is almost like Afton himself is an animatronic like them. Regardless, once the bots understood that Afton wants to manipulate the situation between Saphira and Springtrap, they understood why Saphira didn't respond to Springtrap wanting to know her feelings. Still, Bonnie did say this could be what Afton wanted too. And she played into his hand. Saphira knew that, which means this was worse. And she hated it. She hoped to fix her situation with Springtrap. She knew in her heart that she loved him too.
