Saphira sat in the office quietly as she waited for the animatronics. She had checked the cameras after returning to the office and she located the five trespassers who had snuck into the attraction. She shook her head, wondering why people still insist on sneaking into a place where disappearances are well known to everyone. But she knew people will be people. She didn't know how long the animatronics were going to be, so Saphira put earphones into her ears to listen to some music, deciding in the was the only thing she could do to pass the time. She had been tempted to look at the cameras to watch the animatronics, but kept her eyes off the cameras and focused on the system instead.

She hummed softly to herself as she grabbed out one of her sketchbooks to casually sketch something random. She sharpened her pencil and got to work. She carefully sketched the image as she listened to the music while also thinking over the things she had learned. She needed something to take her mind of everything, and yet, her mind still went back to important things. Like the location of Afton's property. She definitely still planned on checking place out soon. She didn't know when a good time was to do that though.

She just continued to sketch her drawing and the image she was drawing was a woman dressed in a torn, black dress with her hair down by her face. And all that could be seen at the moment were tears. It was an image of a broken woman essentially, and Saphira found herself really getting into it. She hit the reboot button when she heard the alert and she mostly focused on her drawing while she listened to her music.

She did get startled when a shadow move by and she looked up to see Nightmare. He waved at her politely and she took out her earphones. "I didn't mean to startle you, Saphira. I hope you don't mind, but I wanted to come here to chat some more. I've had my fill, and now I just want to talk. Is that okay?"

Saphira smiled at the animatronic. She did wonder why Nightmare seemed curious about her, but she did not mind at all. "Sure, you can talk to me. This is where I will be every night, so it is not like you're going to miss me."

Nightmare walked around to the door with a chuckle. "I suppose that is true. But I've heard mixed things about you, so I want to make an assumption for myself." Saphira did not know what he meant by that, but she made no comment. Nightmare noticed the sketchbook in Saphira's hand and looked at it curiously. "I didn't realize that you were good at drawing, Saphira. That looks good."

Saphira looked at the sketch with a smile. "Yeah, thanks. I was just kind of drawing what I have been feeling." She shrugged as she turned the book to show Nightmare. "I am not done yet. There's still a lot more I have to do, but this is basically what it is currently."

"Drawing out your feelings...I think that is cool. You visualize what you feel when you draw or paint. But..." Nightmare paused as he stared at the image curiously. "Why are you in pain? This picture makes me think you are very upset, and I am curious to know why."

Saphira wasn't surprised that Nightmare could tell what she was feeling based upon the image she had drawn. She did not know how to tell Nightmare. "I am afraid it is hard to explain. But I am not sure if the others have told you much."

"They did. They told us that you used to come here as a kid, and then you stopped coming for ten years. You lost your brother, right?" She nodded, and looked away from him when he mentioned her brother. "You and Springtrap were best friends, from what I understand. And he did not take your absence very well. They haven't told us everything. But I did assume you and Springtrap were friends again."

"Yeah, we are. But I messed it up." Saphira felt tears in her eyes and took a deep breath. "When I became the security guard several weeks ago, I learned that you guys are alive. And I have been trying to solve the mystery about your birth, and the reason for it. And so far, I only know Mister Afton made you and he has a motive to rule the world or something."

"Ah, I see...hmm..." Nightmare lifts his hand to his chin to rub thoughtfully. "I know Afton is a familiar name to me. I guess that is why I don't have questions about him. But the motive is interesting." He hummed softly and looked at Saphira curiously. "The animatronics all said they used to kill the night guards before you came along. From what I understand, you had a close relationship with all of them, right?"

Saphira nodded. "Yep. I guess that was part of the reason why they did not kill me, but to be honest, Springtrap had wanted to. But he mostly wanted me to leave. I didn't, and now I have to stay. Or Afton goes after my family."

"Hmm, sounds like this is going to be a fascinating story. But if you have to stay, that means he wants something from you." She nodded again as Nightmare dissected what he was hearing. "Do you know what he wants?"

She shook her head. "I have not worked it out yet. I only know it has something to do with Springtrap and myself."

He frowned in confusion. "You and Springtrap? Why? Is there something else that I don't know about?"

Saphira sighed as she looked away from Nightmare sadly. "Yeah…well…Springtrap and I were able to rekindle our relationship. But since I am no longer a child, things have kind of changed for us." She looked at the window as though she was expecting to see Springtrap, but he was not there. "Let's just say our feelings might have evolved."

The animatronic was silent as he pondered what Saphira had just told him before widening his eyes. "Wait, wait, wait, wait! Are you trying to tell me that you and Springtrap developed different feelings? As in that you two are closer than friends?" She nodded and the animatronic's ears twitch slightly. "I see…but is that wrong?"

"I…uh…I don't know if I can answer that. But…no matter the feelings, I just feel like if I had allowed it to continue, Afton would get what he wants. He's already attacked me, and threatened me, and this is some kind of game for him. I had to say something, and I am not sure if Springtrap and I can be close again." Tears roll down her cheeks as she thought about it. "I know you might not understand, but I feel like I'm just trying to protect both of us while I figure things out."

Nightmare stepped closer to Saphira and lifts his hand. She tensed a little as he wiped the tears from her cheeks with his thumb, and she was curious about why he was being so gentle with her. "I guess until I know everything, I can only go by what has been told to me so far. However, I think you and Springtrap will be close again. I am not sure if you will get that close again, but I don't know. But I know you probably shouldn't get yourself worked up over it. I can see you still care about him, don't you?"

She nodded. "Yeah...I cared for him the moment I saw him as a kid. And when I returned, I don't think I ever stopped caring. I realized that after I came back here. And then things just changed and matured to the point of...well, where we are now." Saphira looked away from Nightmare for a moment with a frown. "And I don't know why I am telling you this. I just met you."

Nightmare smiled at her, and despite his mouth being full of sharp teeth, his smile was quite nice. "Well, maybe you feel comfortable with me. I can see that my appearance is having little effect on you. Mike seemed to think we would. He implied you were afraid of Nightmare Bonnie when I spoke to him last night."

"Maybe, and you are right. You guys are scary, and I wasn't sure what to think. But I know by experience that I should never judge a person by their appearance. It is how Springtrap and in connected in the first place. I stood out from all the kids, and that is how we bonded." She did appreciate the animatronic's gentleness though. He really seemed like a fun, nice bot to be around. "Being this close to your teeth and claws should make you feel happy, Nightmare. After all, a normal person would run and scream."

"The trespassers did when they saw Nightmare Bonnie. I am not sure if you heard them. But he didn't even have to move or look like he was alive for them to run. And we are supposed to have a grand opening Monday." He chuckled a little as he thought about. "I am curious on how popular we will be. And Springtrap was the scariest when he was made, and he hasn't had many fans." Nightmare chuckled again as he thought about it. "And yet, I find myself wanting to chat, not scare. I don't know why, but even though I have sharp claws and teeth, I only hunt because I have to. I'd rather just talk."

Saphira couldn't help but chuckle at Nightmare. He seemed to be a very nice animatronic and she was glad to know him now. "I can't blame people, but I think there will be people who like you. They might not approach you though. I'll be the only human you know that will get this close to you. Though..." She giggled softly as she smiled at him. "Hearing that you just want to talk instead of scare people is curious to me. Golden Bonnie is the same, and she does not hunt."

"She's lucky that the others allow it. I myself don't want to, but I remind myself that the trespassers made the choice to come here and they deal with that consequence. Plus, we make it very quick when we catch them." Nightmare shrugged and frowned as he didn't want to be talking about it. "Eh, maybe we should not talk about such things. I'd rather talk about something else. I have to admit, last night I opened my eyes when we were not unloaded..." Saphira almost tensed suddenly as brought up the previous night, and she hoped he would not say what she thinks he will say. "I saw someone dressed in black taking a photo or something. I don't think they saw me, because I closed my eyes straight away. But when I kind of want to go back to the loading dock to sniff out the potential threat."

Saphira thought over it and guessed that it would be okay. "What makes you think they will be a threat to us? It could have just been some overly excited fan who wanted to take a glimpse of the new animatronics."

"Maybe, but I just want to be sure. Would you like to come with me?" She raised an eyebrow at him. "Please. I would really appreciate it. Plus, I much rather walk around with a friend than by myself."

Saphira knew that Springtrap wanted her to stay in the office. She did guess he was in the bathroom currently, so she figured she should be fine. "Sure, that will be fine." She stood up from the chair and stretched her arms with a sigh. "I don't need to be sitting here the whole night anyway. I am glad you already think of me as a friend. But are you sure you've eaten enough? I haven't seen the others."

Nightmare smiled at her and turned to walk out of the office with Saphira following him. "I appreciate your concern, but yes, I have eaten enough. I think the others are with Bonnie, I think. Well, whatever, he wanted to tell us some things and I wasn't interested."

Saphira gave him an amused look as they walk into the hallway. "But I would have thought that you would want to learn more about the history of this place. Or are you telling me that you prefer spending time with me over listening to Bonnie?"

Nightmare turned his head to smile at her. "You got me. I want to learn, but I think I would prefer to make good with you. You are the lady we have to see every night. And I want make sure we don't get off to a bad start. You know, I…I don't have…uh…good talking skills…" Saphira wanted to say that was not true, but she did not interrupt him. "At least not yet, I mean, I guess I am talking just fine with you, but…well, there are a lot more people I have to interact with during the day."

"I think you will be fine. You seem to have a lot of confidence, and the fact you want to talk is a good thing. If you were acting shy, I would say you do need time to improve, but that isn't your personality." Saphira glanced around as they walk down the hallway towards the loading dock. "You don't need to feel nervous about it. You do know your job is to scare people, not talk to them."

"Yeah…I know. But if I ever get the chance to talk to a guest, I will certainly enjoy it. I just hope we can cope with smelling humans all day. Your scent is very sweet, for some reason." She rolled her eyes as she knew that from the other bots, and she didn't really know why she had a sweet scent either. "The humans tonight did not have that same scent. I have heard that the other bots think the same. Is it a kind of perfume that you wear?"

She shook her head with a smile. "No. I don't wear perfume, so you are only smelling my natural scent. I personally do not know why you all seem to think my scent is sweet, but as long as it doesn't make you want to kill me, we should be good. I will avoid paper cutting myself during the first weeks while you and the other nightmare animatronics adjust."

"That would be a good idea. I am not sure how I would react to a drop of your blood. We could hardly control ourselves tonight once we spilled it from the other humans." Nightmare sounded sincere in his words. It seemed like he genuinely did not want to hurt Saphira, and she was perfectly fine with that. He looked around the hallway curiously as they continue to walk. "Hmm, for a place meant to be for staff, I am surprised that it seems to be creepier than the main pizzeria. It is dark, dank and very dreary here. I don't even know how the staff look upon this everyday. Would that not make humans feel down?"

Saphira chuckled as Nightmare described the feel of the hallways. "Well, to be fair, this a blend of horror and fun, so I guess when the attraction was built, it was decided that the staff would simply walk into the real feel of the place. But I could be wrong about that. Most places out of the sight of guests are usually dull compared the main area."

"That seems to be the most logical case." Nightmare glanced at the different doors to the rooms that were full of storage and he ended turning to walk over to one. Saphira looked at him surprise and Nightmare opened the door and found it was full of crafting stuff that is used in the Toy Plaza. "I do not know what this stuff is."

"It is crafting stuff. They used in the Toy Plaza with the kids to create their favorite animatronic. They use the paper, glue, sequins and so on. Don't mess with the stuff, Nightmare. I don't even know why you were curious, it's just craft." Saphira didn't think it would interest him, but it seemed to. "I draw and paint, I am not really into craft, if that is what you are thinking. I have my own stuff that I bring here. Springtrap and I were meant to do some painting together, but that doesn't seem like something we will get to do."

The animatronic stepped back from the room and closed the door, turning his head to look at Saphira. "Why does it have to be restricted for just Springtrap? I know my hands aren't particularly good to be able to grab stuff, but I am sure I could learn how to paint."

"Well…I guess because it was something we got to do. I am sorry, you're right, it sounds a little silly." Saphira knew she should not reserve painting and drawing with another bot to be just with Springtrap. She had done this with Bonnie a few times too. "I don't think your claws will be too big of an issue. I think you will be able to draw with time and effort. Even if you have to use your claws, and it might create a better image too."

He looked at his hands and shrugged. "I guess we shall see." He continued walking towards the door to the loading dock which wasn't too far. "Is there anything else you do during the night? Surely it isn't all just sit, patrol, draw and talk. There seems to be a lot more that we could be doing."

"I know it seems like that, but we do have to keep in mind that there isn't a great lot of stuff we can interact with. The main thing we can do is karaoke, I could try on dresses again and maybe ride the carousel in the plaza, but I don't think it's actually on during the night." Saphira glanced at the vent as she walked by them. She saw the lights of a Freddle watching them closely. "And…uh…there are other reasons why we don't do much."

Nightmare immediately noticed the change in tone in Saphira's voice. He looked at her curiously before looking at the vent. He did not know if there was something in there, but the Freddle had moved when the bot looked at the vent and he saw nothing. "Now you have me really curious. But don't worry…" He placed his arm around Saphira's shoulders and hugged her gently, surprising her by the sudden gesture and effort to comfort her. "If someone tries to hurt you, I will be there to ensure that you are not hurt."

Saphira chuckled softly as he opened the door into the loading dock. "I am surprised you are so quick to want to come to my aid if I need it, Nightmare. I am happy, but I am also very surprised." Nightmare smiled at her before removing his arm from her to walk down the short flight of stairs to the ground and over to the roller door. "I still don't know why you want to try and sniff out this person. They may never come back."

Nightmare said nothing as he got closer to the door and leaned down to sniff curiously. Saphira knew there would be no other scents apart from hers, Afton's, Mike's and the employees who work here. But she hoped he would not be able to figure out if it was her. She leaned on the railing as she watched the animatronic sniff the door and the ground curiously. She could see he was concentrating and she did wonder how much higher their senses were compared to humans. She would have to relook over the blueprints if that information was there. But it also may not be.

"Strange. I don't smell anyone different." He sniffed again, placing his hands on the ground as he sniffed some more. "I only smell Afton, Mike, the employees and you…I do not smell anything different." He sniffed some more before straightening up, looking at the door with a frown. "Hmm…I guess I am at a loss." He shrugged as he stepped back from the door. "Unless it was one of the employees…"

"Watch your feet, Nightmare! There's a…" Saphira grimaced as Nightmare heard her a little too late as he stepped on a pipe behind him, making his foot roll forward suddenly and causing him to fall onto his back. "A…pipe…"

"Ow…" Nightmare grimaced and looked at the pipe rolling away from him. "That was not meant happen. Ugh…that was embarrassing." He moved to stand up and turned his head when he heard giggling. He saw Saphira was covering her mouth, trying to keep herself from laughing too hard. "Ooh, you thought that was funny, huh?"

Saphira bit her finger for a moment and took a deep breath. "Sorry, um…the way you fell was…um…" She snorted as she tried to keep herself from laughing too hard. Nightmare stood up slowly with a smirk on his face. "I wasn't expecting it."

"Nor was I. But I am very happy that it was funny." He leans slightly and held out his hands in a semi-menacing stance. "But now I am going to have to get you."

Saphira couldn't help but gasp and turned to run out of the loading dock, and she giggled when she heard Nightmare chasing her. "Oh, no! I am being chased by Nightmare!" She said in a loud playful tone. "I totally thought it was funny that you fell on your butt!"

"Ha, ha, ha! Yes, it was so funny!" Nightmare responded sarcastically as he chased her. However, Saphira noticed he wasn't even running fast, he was simply chasing her playfully and she could not help but laugh. "I am curious, your scent was the strongest by the door. Were you the little ninja that I saw last night?"

Saphira tensed a little and turned as soon as he said that. "What makes you think…WOAH!" She gasped in surprise as her foot stepped into a bucket and she tried to kick it off. The handle swung onto her ankle she tried to kick it off and she fell forward slightly. "Oh, no!"

"Stop moving, let me…" Nightmare gasped as Saphira tripped as the bucket snagged a mop and as he had leaned to try and take the bucket off, he lost balance too and fell forward.

Saphira shrieked in surprise and covered her face as Nightmare fell on top, but he caught himself in time with his hands and she looked up at him with a smirk. "Oh, what large teeth you have!"

"Sorry…I guess I need to work on my feet too." Nightmare leaned back and took the bucket off, and looked down at Saphira as she began to laugh again. He smirked and began to laugh himself. "I guess it was pretty funny."

Saphira couldn't stop laugh hysterically as this whole thing just turned comical, and she just could not help but laugh. She didn't care that she also fell over, but it was still so funny. And she found she already liked Nightmare a lot. He was also laughing as the door at the end opened from the dining room. Bonnie, Freddy, Toy Bonnie and Springtrap all walk inside with Nightmare Freddy. They all had heard Saphira's shriek.

"What…" Bonnie widened his eyes as he saw Saphira laughing hysterically on her back on the ground with Nightmare sitting by her, also laughing. "What in the world happened? We heard you scream. Why are you both laughing?" Bonnie's questioning seemed to have made the two laugh harder and the animatronic smirked a little as he walked over. "Alright, I see you and Nightmare have gotten along exceptionally. But I hope you were not hurt, Saphira."

Nightmare shook his head. "Nope, she was not." He continued to laugh lightly before holding up the bucket. "She got her foot stuck in this. And she lost her balance when I tried to take it off."

"And what made Saphira get her foot stuck?" Freddy asked curiously as Bonnie kneels down to held Saphira to her feet, but the girl was uninterested as she curled her body and kept laughing. "My goodness, she hasn't laughed like this in a long time."

"Saphira, get up from the floor," Bonnie said with a smile as he looked down at her. He could see she was crying from how hard she was laughing and he placed his right hand on his hip. "I don't know the full story of how this happened, and I know you and Nightmare seem to have had a good time, but get off the floor. You know it isn't that clean."

Saphira was holding her stomach as it was hurting a lot from laughing so much. She took deep breaths as she wiped the tears from her cheeks. "Ugh…my stomach hurts from laughing…" She chuckled some more before she took Bonnie's extended hand. "Alright, help me up."

The animatronic did not hesitate to help Saphira to her feet. She brushed herself off as Bonnie looked her over for any injuries. "Are you sure you are not hurt?"

She shook her head with a smile. "Nah. Nightmare just wanted to check something in the loading dock. He thinks he saw someone take a photo of him when he was still in the truck or something last night." Bonnie was surprised and glanced at Nightmare curiously. "He wanted to see if he could get their scent, but he could only smell mine, Mike's and Afton's…and the other employees."

"Odd." Bonnie frowned a little as he wasn't sure if the story was true. "Then why were the two of you laughing?" Nightmare smirked a little and huffed slightly. "Cause if that is the story, you're leaving out a detail."

"Well, I just happened to step on a metal pipe in the loading dock and fell onto my butt. Apparently, it was funny…" Nightmare looked at Saphira with a smirk as she began to giggle again. "So I just happened to chase her playfully, and I asked a random question, which distracted her and she stepped in the bucket. And the rest, well, I fell again…almost on top of her."

"And you somehow found it funny?" Nightmare Freddy asked curiously. Both Saphira and Nightmare nod with a few more chuckles, and Nightmare Freddy smirked. "Well, this night has turned interesting. I am glad you and Saphira were able to bond, Nightmare. And quite well."

"I am sorry that I couldn't include the rest of you new animatronics." Saphira wiped her cheeks again and sniffled. "I need to wash my face. And have some water. Man, I haven't laughed like that in a while."

Bonnie chuckled gently as Saphira walked around him towards the office door and he turned to follow her. "I think a short break is needed. Though Nightmare Fredbear, Nightmare Bonnie, Nightmare Chica, Nightmare Foxy and Nightmare Mangle did say they did not feel confident about being around you safely yet, so I think you might just have Nightmare and Nightmare Freddy to chat to."

Nightmare Freddy nodded. "I am afraid that is true. Though I am still not sure if can be around you for too long. But I am surprised that Nightmare is controlling himself." He looked at Nightmare with a smile. "I have to say that I am very impressed."

Nightmare shrugged. "Well, I wanted to make a good impression, and so I did." He looked at Springtrap as the bot turned around to leave. "Oh, why don't you stay, Springtrap?" The bot stopped and turned his head slightly to glare at Nightmare. Saphira walked into the office and she looked at Springtrap curiously. "I don't want to be stealing all your time from her."

Springtrap glanced at Saphira through the window. She didn't know what to say to him at the moment. She didn't know what he was thinking, but she knew Springtrap still cared. He came in when he heard her screaming. But Springtrap said nothing as his eyes turned to sadness before he left. She really wanted to chase after him, but she did not. She grabbed her water bottle and began to drink quickly to hydrate herself. She was really happy she and Nightmare got along, but she didn't know if Springtrap felt jealous or upset. She wasn't sure. She knew he was probably upset that they weren't close right now, but Saphira hoped that would change soon.

"Saphira did tell me what went on between her and Springtrap," Nightmare said as he stood by the door of the office. Bonnie, Freddy and Toy Bonnie were surprised that Saphira had been open to him. "I know that must be a surprise, but I had noticed that is all. Now I know why."

"That definitely is a surprise. Saphira trusts you as though you two have been friends for years." Toy Bonnie's ears droop slightly as he thought about it. "I am glad you know. But don't press on him about it. None of us have ever gotten through time him when there are issues, so don't expect anything different."

"Alright, I will not try anything. But from what I hear, Saphira and Springtrap were close. I hope it can be repaired."

Bonnie placed his hand on the bot's shoulder. "You have missed out on a lot. Nightmare Freddy knows a heap, and he's aware that Saphira and Springtrap were very close. How about you come with me and we talk."

Nightmare groaned a little with a roll of his eyes. "You tell me here."

Bonnie chuckled a little and glanced at Saphira as she walked into the bathroom suddenly. "If that is what you want, Nightmare, fine." He turned Nightmare to walk away from the office door. "You might as well know how it started ten years ago…"

Saphira splashed water on her face Bonnie began to tell Nightmare everything that has happened over the last few weeks. She knew that not everything would be told to him, since Saphira won't admit to being the one sneaking around the truck, but she knew the animatronics heard Nightmare mention he had seen someone. Though Freddy, Bonnie and Toy Bonnie did not seem to be curious about it, they might not ask about it until another time. Saphira still felt guilty about Springtrap. She remained in the bathroom to give herself time to breath and recollect herself before she would step out. She glanced at the vent, hoping that Afton won't get suspicious. He would have heard Nightmare, and he could figure out what she was up to just from that casual conversation.
