Invasion : Part 3
[Washington D.C. : 12/02/2001]
POV : Superman
It had been a few weeks since I started actually working on my proposal, and I must say I never thought there were so many nuclear warheads, no wonder villains like Ultron are so much work and so dangerous.
Now I was in one of the countless military bases in the country and I was disarming warhead by warhead with my heat vision, it was a task that required precision and a lot of delicacy, since a single mistake could generate a beautiful catastrophe.
I traveled the world, visiting military bases and secret locations where these weapons were stored. It was a dangerous and delicate task, but I knew it was necessary to maintain global peace and security.
In each place I visited, I was met with distrust and resistance, as many nations did not want to admit the lack of these weapons in their territory. However, I always acted with diplomacy and patience, explaining that my intention was only to protect the world from possible catastrophes.
One of the most difficult places to convince was the people of Korea, after all the history of attacks suffered by the US government, to the point that at a certain point there were no more buildings to demolish, but after a long conversation I managed to convince the country's leaders.
Back to the present the United States was the last country I had to work in, and I was already at the last base with warheads, a small batch of each country was stored under the guardianship of SHIELD, which was now under the watchful eyes of the world.
As I was concentrating on disarming the last warhead, I heard a loud noise coming from outside. My super hearing picked up the screams and the sound of gunfire. I knew something was wrong and decided to go out and check.
When I left the base, I saw a chaotic scene. A group of armed men had invaded the military base and were trying to steal the nuclear warheads. They were armed with assault rifles and grenades, and seemed willing to use force to get what they wanted.
Just by the uniforms you could tell who they were, a mix of green and yellow with helmets that resembled a skull, along with a symbol of a skull with tentacles on their shoulders.
"Hydra...I figured they'd make a move but not that sloppy." I say more to myself than anything.I knew I couldn't let these criminals have access to the nuclear warheads, so I decided to act quickly. Quickly, I ran toward the group, preparing for combat.
They noticed my arrival and pointed their guns at me, but I used my speed to dodge the shots. With a swift swipe, I hit one of the men with a punch, sending him flying away.
The other members of the group tried to attack me, but I used my agility to dodge and dodge the blows. I needed to incapacitate them as quickly as possible to stop them from doing more damage.
With a kick, I sent one of the men to the ground, then grabbed another by the arm and threw him against the wall. They were clearly unprepared to deal with someone of my abilities.
However, the leader of the group was a strong and skilled man. He lunged at me with a sword that glowed with electricity, and I knew he had to be careful as it could cause problems if he got to the warheads. We fought for exactly a minute, each of us looking for an opening to attack.
Finally, I saw my chance. When he lowered his guard, I took the opportunity to hit him with a quick blow to the chin, sending him to the ground unconscious. With that all of them were neutralized and I finished my work here.

POV : Warren Worthington III
In the years I worked with Calvin there was never really a dull moment, he had genius ideas and an entrepreneurial mind that could make them genius, the fact that he didn't have a prejudice against Mutants at the time was also a big plus.
I admit that finding out that he was actually an alien who grew up on Earth and now wore skin-tight blue clothing was shocking to say the least, not to say absurd, but honestly being a winged man like myself, that wasn't what was going to change my life.
Seeing his saves over the years was interesting, Superman became more than a name, he was becoming a symbol, a symbol of hope, as he said he was meant to be.
But now he was involved in something serious, global politics were rarely simple and easy to understand, and now Calvin was disarming all nuclear weapons, with only a small batch guarded by S.H.I.E.L.D. .
This decision by Calvin about nuclear weapons made me very apprehensive. I've always been a business person, and while I've worked with Calvin for years, global politics is a subject that's always eluded me. I trusted his intelligence and his ability to make decisions, but that seemed too risky for me.
As much as I respected Calvin's opinion, I couldn't help but wonder about the possible consequences of this attitude. What if something happened? What if some country used the weapons SHIELD kept? What if that ended up causing a war? I was afraid that everything would get out of hand.
But at the same time, I knew that Calvin was a person of principle, and his actions were always guided by his morality. I believed in him and wanted to support him, but there was still this feeling of uncertainty inside of me. I couldn't help but worry about what might happen.
I knew I couldn't change Calvin's decision, but I hoped he knew what he was doing. I trusted him, but at the same time, I felt like I was taking a leap of faith with this decision. Only time would tell if this would be the right choice.
ring ring*
My cell phone ringing caught my attention, picking it up I see who was calling me and my mood dropped a lot.
"Hello dad..." The man who was supposed to love and protect me, but the prejudice was too big to handle what I was.

POV : Nick Fury
The infinity serum gave my body many blessings , among them the ability to live for a long time and still maintain my physical peak , but I knew one thing , I could feel it in my bones that my strength was passing , that and the white hairs were an indication.
"Sir the last warhead has been successfully destroyed." Maria Hill spoke beside me as she read the information on her tablet.
"And that kid really do it." I say slightly surprised, lighting a cigar.
Ever since Superman volunteered to disarm the world everything had been in a mess , arms protests going on left and right , not to mention many gun business tycoons were now very concerned as US wars were stopped due to the intervention of the Man of Steel in recent years.
Literally every conflict, every single one that had been instigated by the government, and it made a lot of people angry, and it really brought a small, fleeting smile to my face.
This didn't mean that all the world's problems had been solved, but now people were more open to seeking peaceful solutions to their differences, as the strongest man could be listening to any plot.
"Come on Hill, we have other jobs to do." I say as my right arm follows me.
Nuclear disarmament has not been the only important issue of recent times.
