Duel 63: Back on the Saddle again….SIKE!
"Welcome back Chazz," Rose said, rubbing her forehead. "Now can we leave and never come back here again?"
"Nah," Chazz laughed. "I like this place, so I'll be coming back here again."
"Because you're the new leader," Rose asked.
"Because I'm the new leader," Chazz answered laughing, Rose slammed her head into the nearest windmill.
"I think we should leave before the Sarge loses it," Hassleberry said, grabbing Rose's collar and pulling her away from the windmill. "Umm how do we get out?"
Chazz's smile dropped. "Uh….I don't know…." He answered.
"I do!" Lime said happily.
"Lime?" Yuko said. "What are you doing here, we left you here in exchange for Chazz….why did we do that again?" She whispered to herself.
"Because I missed you," Lime said sadly. "You guys treat me better. I've only been shocked to death once since joining with you guys."
"I thought you guys can't die?" Chazz asked.
"We can't!" Lime said happily.
"But you just said you died!" Syrus yelled.
"But we can't," Lime countered. Rose punt kicked him into the air. "Yay I'm flying!"
"Babe, we needed him to get out of here," Alexis sighed.
"He'll be back," Rose said, crossing her arms, a few minutes later Lime came riding back on Dark Jeroid.
"That was fun!" Lime said laughing. "Ok then, let's get going!"

The group followed Lime through Ojama country, dodging Harpies along the way till they got back to the entrance of Ojama country, a boat ride through it's a small world with the children replaced with Ojamas.
"Oh my Ra," Rose groaned, sitting down in the boat. "Let's get this over with."
"Honestly, this is the best thing we've had to do since we've got here." Yuko said, swaying to the music. "I probably would have rather gone back through the perfume department though."
After a 30 minute ride through out of key singing, they finally arrived back inside the debatably better Dark World part of the dimension, where Brron and his army was waiting for them.
"Hello there," Brron giggled. "Did you have fun in the shittiest place in the Dark World?"
"Actually yes, we had Ojama King for lunch." Syrus said.
"Good," Brron said laughing. "Now then, it is time for you to die" Brron said waving his hand. "So please sit still while my minions rip you limb from limb."
"No!" Chazz yelled. "We're not gonna roll over like that!" He yelled, smirking. "In fact you're gonna take us to your castle!"
"Oh?" Brron said laughing. "You really think I'm gonna just take you to where it is?" He asked, getting close to Chazz's face.
"Yes," Chazz smirked.
"Well then!" Brron yelled. "I think I know how we can do this," He said, gesturing to his army. "If you can beat my Knight Zure then you will win his map of the castle, if you lose then you die and I kill another one of you….the littlest one," He said pointing at Syrus.
"Deal," Chazz said, activating his duel disk. Zure nodded and ripped his arm open to activate his.
"Don't fail me Zure, you know the price of failure," Brron laughed as he and his minions disappeared in a blast of lighting.
"Alright then," Chazz smirked as he drew his card. "I summon 'Ojama Blue' (0/1000) and I'll set two cards and end my turn."
"My turn," Zure said, drawing his card. "I play the field spell 'Power Zone'," He said as an orb of overpowering energy covered the field. "Now whenever a monster is destroyed by battle, the controller takes damage equal to the monsters attack."
"Oh well then," Chazz smirked. "Glad my monsters have no attack points."
"Yes, good for you," Zure said. "-But it won't save you from the damage of my 'Power Annihilator' (1800/100) when it destroys your 'Ojama Blue', even if he loses 1000 attack points for attacking a weaker monster (1800-800)," (Chazz LP: 8000-7200). "Now I set a card and end my turn."
"Well thank you," Chazz said. "Because you destroying my 'Blue' lets me add two 'Ojama' cards from my deck to my hand, and I'll activate my 'Ojama Pajama' now in addition to my normal draw I get to add another 'Ojama' card to my hand by discarding another, so I'll add 'Ojamatch' to my hand and send 'Ojamagic' to the grave, now I'll use 'Ojamagic's' effect to add 'Yellow, Black, and Green' to my hand."
"Very well then," Zure said nodding.
"And now I'll activate 'Ojamatch' to send 'Ojama Yellow' to the grave to add an 'Ojama Red' and 'Armed Dragon LV3' and now I'll summon 'Armed Dragon LV3' (1200/900)!" The small orange dragon appeared on the field throwing punches. "'Armed Dragon LV3' attack 'Power Annihilator' (1800/100) with Armed Smash!" (Power Annihilator 1800-800/100) (Zure LP: 8000-7600). "Now I set a card and end my turn."
"I activate 'Explosion Fuse' to summon my 'Power Bombard' (1000/0), "I then summon another 'Power Annihilator' (1800/100) and I'll power him up with 'Ring of Fiendish Power' now you can only attack the highest attack fiend on my field and if any of my fiends destroy your monster you take damage equal to its defense."
"That won't be a problem," Chazz shrugged.
"It will be when I activate 'Power Spirit', by paying 1000 life points (Zure LP: 7600-6600). "Now you can only destroy a monster if your monster has 1000 attack points more than it, so the only way to destroy 'Power Annihilator' is with a monster with over 3800 attack."
"Still won't let you will," Chazz smirked.
Zure growled. "I set a card and end my turn," He snapped.
"My move then!" Chazz yelled, drawing his card. "I activate 'LV3's' effect, sending him to the grave to summon 'Armed Dragon LV5' (2500/1700) then I'll activate 'Ojamassimilation' revealing 'XYZ-Dragon Cannon' from my extra deck and banish 'Red' 'Black' and 'Green' to summon 'X-Head Cannon' (1800/1500), 'Y-Dragon Head' (1500/1600), and 'Z-Metal Cannon' (1500/1300) now I banish these three to summon 'XYZ-Dragon Cannon' (2800/2600)!"
The three machines combined together, hitting the ground with a loud boom as it aimed its cannons at Zure.
"Don't blink because I'm now gonna activate 'XYZ's' effect, I'll send a card to the graveyard to destroy your 'Power Annihilator'!" 'XYZ' aimed its cannons at 'Annihilator' and blew it apart with white hot blast of energy. "Now 'Armed Dragon LV5' attack 'Power Bombard'!" (Zure LP: 6600-5100) "And now you'll take another 1000 points from your own 'Power Zone'!" (Zure LP: 5100-4100) "Finally 'XYZ-Dragon Cannon' attack directly!" (Zure LP: 4100-1300). "I'll end it here, by sending 'LV5' to the grave to summon 'Armed Dragon LV7' (2800/1000)."
Zure drew his card. "I end my turn."
Chazz blinked in confusion. "Umm ok, 'Armed Dragon LV7' attack him directly!" (Zure LP: 1300-0). 'Zure' collapsed into stardust that filled the area, making them cough as the dust entered their lungs, leaving only his map on the ground.
"Was there ever any doubt?" Yuko asked, rifling through the stardust to pick up the map. "Looks like we need to head directly north of here."
"That was too easy," Chazz said. "He did that on purpose."
"Why do you think that?" Syrus asked. "I don't think he could have won either way?"
"No he let me win," Chazz said, scratching his chin. "He was probably expecting to win, but had a plan if he lost."
"Giving us the map?" Rose asked.
"Leading us right to Brron," Chazz said back. Rose shrugged in response.
"We knew he wanted us for something," Rose said. "I'm guessing Nightshroud is making the plans though."
"So Brron is just another pawn," Alexis finished. "-But that still leaves the biggest question unanswered, what does Nightshroud want, and what does it have to do with us?"
….
Night-Jesse smiled as he watched Brron rile up his troops, Zure had played his part well and done his part, now Brron needed to do his and he'd finally have what he needed.
"Soon I will take what I need from you Rose, and then I'll sink this world into despair and darkness." He thought chuckling to himself.
….
"There it is!" Yuko said, pointing to a castle over a craggy hill.
"Let's end this," Rose said, creating a bridge to the castle.
"Ah! Welcome to my Castle!" Brron yelled. "Have a peppermint."
"What? No, where did you get a leaf in this barren wasteland-never mind that. No, we don't accept your peppermint, we just wanna go home." Yuko said.
"Well you can't!" Brron laughed. "Unless you beat me, in a duel!"
"No!" Rose yelled.
"Yes!" Brron yelled.
"Hell no!" Rose yelled.
"Hell yes!" Brron yelled.
"Fuck the hell no!" Rose yelled.
"Fuck the hell no!" Brron yelled.
"Fucking yes and if you say no again I will beat you into a coma!" Rose yelled, activating her duel disk. "...wait fuck!"
"Too late!" Brron laughed, activating his.
"Rose what the hell!?" Chazz yelled, suddenly, feeling extremely angry.
"Depressing, despondent, woeful, other synonyms for sad…" Yuko sighed, sinking into a depressive state.
"You never think things through!" Tyranno growled, hatred boiling in his blood.
"This is hopeless…" Alexis cried, tears spilling from her eyes out of nowhere.
"Rose, did you do this on purpose?" Syrus asked, doubt laden in his voice.
….
"Let's begin the end of your friends!" Brron laughed while drawing a card. "I summon 'Scarr, Scout of Dark World' (500/500), and then I activate 'Wicked Canon'!" He yelled as a book appeared on the field above him. "Now I end my turn."
"Alright then," Rose said growling. "I'll start this off by summoning 'Elemental Hero Solid Soldier' (1300/1100) and using his effect I'll summon 'Elemental Hero Shadow Mist' (1000/1500) to get a 'Change' quick-play spell to my hand, now I'll set two cards and end my turn."
"That's all?" Brron laughed. "This will be over quickly, I activate 'Dark World Dealings', we both get to draw a card, then discard a card." He explained, Rose nodded and the two drew and discarded their cards. "Now I activate the effect of my 'Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World'!" He yelled. "I'll target your 'Shadow Mist' and destroy her."
"Thanks," Rose smirked. "Now I get to add a 'HERO' monster to my hand."
"That won't matter when I return my 'Scarr' to summon 'Grapha' (2700/1800) from the grave!" The ground split as a giant black dragon climbed its way out of the grave.'Grapha' attack 'Solid Soldier'!" "
"Go 'Mask Change'!" Rose yelled. "I send 'Solid' to the grave to summon 'Masked Hero Dian' (2800/3000)!"
Brron giggled as 'Dian' appeared on the field. "That won't help."
"No, it wouldn't…" Alexis muttered.
"Is this really your course of action?" Syrus asked.
"It will when I activated 'Solid's' effect to summon 'Shadow Mist' (1000/1500) back from my graveyard in defense mode," Rose explained as 'Shadow Mist' came back on the field.
"No it won't!" Brron yelled. "'Grapha' attack 'Dian'!"
Rose smirked wide. "Go 'Mask Change' again!" She yelled. "'Shadow Mist' swap out for 'Masked Hero Dark Law' (2400/1800)."
'Grapha's' blast of fire hit 'Dian' and dissipated against her armor, 'Dian' spun her lance and speared 'Grapha' in the chest, destroying it. (Brron LP: 8000-7900)
"Now we can really begin," Brron giggled. "I activate 'Wicked Canon'!" He cackled. "I can now send a 'Wicked Rune' from my deck to my graveyard," He said, sending one of them to his grave. "Say goodbye to your little girlfriend!" He shouted.
"What do you mean?" Rose asked nervously.
"The 'Wicked Rune' cards are magically linked to your friends, courtesy of my loyal servant 'Zure', when I activate the effect of 'Wicked Canon' the rune kills your friends and transfers their energy to the ultimate card!"
"...but it won't," Rose said.
"...Why not?" Brron asked as he looked from Rose to Alexis to his deck. "What's the matter with these stupid cards?!" Brron yelled, scratching his head.
"There's nothing wrong," Rose said. "Dark Law happened, when he's on the field any card you send to the graveyard is removed from play instead...and I'm guessing your 'Runes' only work when sent to the grave?"
"...yes," Brron admitted. "Damn that boy!" He yelled, throwing his hands in the air. "He didn't tell me about that one!"
"Well looks like you've lost," Rose chuckled as the Rune on Alexis's neck disappeared.
"Rose? What happened?" Alexis asked.
My head is pounding…" Hassleberry groaned.
"Disconsolate, woebegone, lament-what the fuck? Why am I just listing synonyms for sad?" Yuko asked.
"No!" Brron yelled. "I have a backup! I always have a backup! And a backup for my backup!" He exclaimed turning to another one of his fiends. "-Bring in the backups!"
"What?" Rose asked as the fiends led a procession of monster spirits into the arena and chained them to the floor. "Brron what's the game here?" She glared angrily.
"The game is called 'You Surrender or I sacrifice a Monster Spirit Every Turn Until I Have Enough Energy To Power The Wicked Canon'!" Brron cackled. "It's one of my favorites."
"Woah Woah that wasn't part of the deal Brron!" Rose shouted looking between her now freed friends and the monsters chained to the ground.
"I am altering the deal, and I will alter it again!" Brron cackled. Rose looked again at the hostages unable to make a choice.
"Seriously?" The voice chastised angrily. "You're torn about this!? They're just spirits!"
"They're alive here!" Rose yelled back.
"You didn't have this problem five minutes ago!" The voice shouted, this time even closer to her ear.
"Brron is different!" Rose shouted out loud at nothing.
"Oh for Ra's sake if you're too much of a wimp to do this," Rose's shadow said before a clawed hand reached out and started dragging her in "Then I will!" It screamed pulling her in fully.
"What the fuck is that?!" Yuko yelled, pointing at the shadow.
"Rose!" Alexis shrieked.
"A demon is eating her!" Syrus yelled, trembling.
"Come on, we gotta go help Sarge!" Hassleberry said, getting up.
"Are you fucking crazy?! We're all gonna get eaten if we go down there!" Chazz argued. It sounded selfish, but there was genuine concern in his face.

Rose's shadow bubbled and changed before another person came out, a cackling winged demon with three eyes and a split gendered body.
"Ah ha ha ha ha!" The demon laughed, throwing off the shadows and spreading their wings. "Full Grown!" They shouted.
"What the actual shit is that?!" Syrus yelled in unadulterated shock and awe.
"Oh it is just so deliciously wonderful to be back!" They giggled, stretching their arms above their head.
"I should have known…" Yuko muttered.
"Now then," They said, pulling out Rose's duel disk from her shadow. "Let us continue," She said.
"Really?" Brron said tilting his head almost 90 degrees. "Ok then, I summon 'Zure Knight of Dark World' (1800/1500), set a card and end my turn."
"Alright then," The demon said, smirking widely. "-But before that, I can activate the effect of 'Dian' to special summon a level four 'HERO', hmmmm I think I'll summon 'Elemental Hero Burstinatrix (1200/800)'."
"Haha what is that thing?" Brron laughed. "It's useless."
"Oh you're so preciously stupid," The demon chuckled. "Because now I'm going to sacrifice 'Dain' and 'Burstinatrix' to summon 'Yubel' (0/0)!" The demon, now named Yubel, smirked as her doppleganger appeared on the field.
"Corporal, you always say that monsters with bad stats always have crazy effects, right?" Hassleberry asked.
"Yeah, otherwise there would be no point in running them." Yuko said. She looked on at the battle, visibly frightened.
"Well, let's hope the case is true with this one too…" Hassleberry said.
"What do you keep summoning weak little things?" Brron chuckled.
"You'll see," Yubel chuckled. "'Dark Law' attack 'Zure'!"
"WRONG!" Brron shouted. "I use 'Rebellion' to take control of your 'Dark Law' till the end of the battle phase."
"Oh well," Yubel shrugged. "I set a card and end my turn, now though 'Yubel's' effect activates and I have to tribute another monster, so bye bye 'Dark Law'," Yubel said as 'Yubel' turned to 'Dark Law' with a sinister look, they then grabbed 'Dark Law' by the face and ripped his throat open, draining his energy through the wound till he collapsed.
"Hehe that was very nice," Brron chuckled. "I activate 'Dark World Lightning' to destroy your facedown and then discard a card," He explained as Yubel's card was destroyed. "And the card I discarded is 'Ceruli, Guru of Dark World' (100/300) which now summons him to your side of the field and let's me discard another card, like my 'Lucent, Netherlord of Dark World' (2400/0) who then comes back to the field!" He explained as the white fiend crawled it's way out of the ground. "And now he gets me some reinforcements from my deck, so come forth 'Brron, Mad King of Dark World' (1800/400)!" He screamed.
"Wonderful play," Yubel snarked with a slow hand clap. "Too bad it won't do anything."
"You're gonna regret that!" Brron screamed. "I send my 'Lucent' to destroy 'Ceruli' with his Translucent Claw Crash!"
'Lucent' flew across the field and grabbed 'Ceruli' by the neck with a glowing hand, 'Ceruli's' body became translucent as he stopped struggling just before 'Lucent' crushed him into a pile of shards on the field (Yubel LP: 8000-5700).
"Now 'Brron' attack 'Yubel' with Chained Madness!" Brron ordered as his card counterpart fling his arm chains at 'Yubel' and with a roar attempted to rip her apart.
"Oh no that simply won't do," Yubel snickered. "Now you will have to be….punished for your actions," They said ominously as 'Yubel' screamed in pain and ecstasy as the chains around her pulled tighter, a loud scream from their mouth let loose a sonic wave that hit Brron and sent him toppling ass over tea kettle. (Brron LP: 7900-6100).
"I don't like the way that thing screams…" Chazz said warily.
"This was living in Rose this whole time?" Alexis asked. She sounded like she was about to cry.
"What!?" Brron asked sitting up. "What happened!?"
"'Yubel' happened," Yubel chuckled. "They can't be destroyed by battle and I take no damage from battles involving them, finally their Nightmare Pain effect inflicts damage to you equal to the attacking monsters attack," They explained.
"Well at least I get another 'Rune'," Brron mumbled, sending one to the grave as his minions sliced the throats of more monsters to feed the book. "And now I think I'll set a card and end my turn."
"Mine then," Yubel said, drawing their card. "I set a card and summon 'Avian' (1000/1000) to feed 'Yubel', and that will be all."
"I draw," Brron said. Yubel smirked.
"Time to lose," Yubel chuckled. "I activate 'Battle Mania' now you have to attack my monsters this turn!"
Brron screamed in rage as his monsters attacked 'Yubel' and their attacks were reflected right back at him (Brron LP: 6100-1900). "I'll kill you all!" He roared in rage sending two more runes to the grave as more monsters were torn apart to feed the 'Canon'. "I'll sacrifice this entire dimension to get what I want!"
"You really are a petulant child," Yubel shrugged looking at their nails. "Do you want to surrender so you don't die looking like a screaming baby?" They smirked.
"I am not a baby!" Brron screamed. "And I'm ending this now!" He shouted, drawing his card. "I summon 'Snoww, Unlight of Dark World' (1700/0)' and send her to attack 'Yubel'!"
"For the love of Ra you really have gone mad haven't you?" Yubel sighed as the attack bounced back at Brron (Brron LP: 1900-200).
"No I've won!" He retorted sending another rune to the grave as his minions finished off the last of the spirits. "Because now I have all the power I need to make the Ultimate Fusion Card!" He cackled. "I send the 'Wicked Canon' to the grave and banish all five my runes to fuse my three 'Dark World' monsters to fusion summon the mighty 'Colorless, Chaos King of Dark World (?/?)!" He screamed as the book absorbed the energy and then exploded in a bright white light.
Yubel smiled. "You made one mistake Brron," They said. "You miscounted."
The light stopped and still on the field was the 'Wicked Canon'.
"What was that?" Syrus asked.
"I don't think it worked…?" Yuko said, pretty confused.
"No…." Brron mumbled. "No no no no NO NO NO NO NO!" He roared in a bloodthirsty rage.
"The first rune wasn't sent to the grave, it was banished," Yubel chuckled, shaking their head. "Even if you had done it correctly you wouldn't have had enough energy to make the Ultimate Fusion Card, there's only one place where it could be made," They said vaguely.
"I'll still kill you!" Brron screeched. "I use 'Wicked Canon's' second effect to summon a fusion material from my deck and activate their effect immediately! 'Reign-Beaux, Overlord of Dark World' (2500/1800) appear here and serve your king! Activate your Hell Rays and wipe out her monsters!"
'Reign-Beaux's' eyes glowed an eerie red as it launched a wave of red light that covered Yubel's field, turning her one monster into dust in an instant.
"Now next turn this duel is mine and then all the souls of you miserable creatures next!" Brron screamed into the sky. "I'll tear this whole dimension apart if it means you all die too!" His ranting was suddenly cut off by Yubel's laughter, Brron became angrier and angrier the longer it went on until he cracked a tooth from clenching his jaw so hard. "WHAT IS SO FUNNY!" he roared.
"You!" Yubel cackled breathlessly. "You manchild wannabe king!" She laughed with a dark smile. "Because you destroyed my 'Yubel' via an effect that wasn't their own, I can summon something else," She said as a card came out of her deck that was dripping with dangerous black energy.
"What?" Brron said suddenly, very scared by Yubel's smile.
"A little monster called, 'Yubel-Terror Incarnate' (0/0)," Yubel laughed as the dust of her monster version became a black ooze that recondensed and transformed back into 'Yubel' that started growing and morphing painfully expanding to the size of a house as a tail and two dragon heads burst out of their tailbone and shoulders, their head was absorbed into their chest except for her third eye, finally finishing their transformation into a giant two headed dragon beast.
"It still has no attack!" Brron shouted, trying to take back his authority.
"Yes, but it doesn't matter," Yubel said flippantly. "'Terror Incarnate' has the same damage effects as the first form-"
"Then what was the point!?" Brron screamed.
"...Because of the last effect," Yubel finished with a big grin. "During my end phase I get to destroy all other monsters on the field," she finished. "And with a little facedown card called 'Coffin Seller', your own monsters will be your undoing" They said and Brron went pale. "I end my turn, 'Yubel-Terror Incarnate' activate Nightmare Sacrifice."
'Terror-Incarnate's' dragon heads unleashed a wave of black sludge-like energy that covered the field and swallowed any monsters in its wake, melting them into nothing but black dust. (Brron LP: 200-0).
"What in the actual fuck was that?" Chazz asked.
"This demon could give the Wicked Gods a run for their money…" Yuko muttered.
