Sekhmet: It feels like forever since we last posted, but apparently it's only been two months? I mean, that's still bad, but still…
Susano-o: Well what can you do. *Shrug* Oh and we have some great news, we're engaged!
Sekhmet: Yep, we've been in a relationship this whole time! Surprise!
Susano-o: So big news for us, and now we're finally at the end of this season, like two more chapters to go at most, then we can have the fun Season 4.
Sekhmet: FINALLY, on to Season 4. I can't wait. Season 3 will probably go down in history as the worst season we've ever written, and I'm happy to leave it behind.
Susano-o: Same.
Sekhmet: Let's get outta here.
Duel 67: Fate's Gambit
"I summon, 'Arcana Force V- The Hierophant' (1500/1500)," Sartorius said, summoning his monster, a thin metallic monster with a staff and robes and it's card spinning above him. "And when he's summoned not only do I get to add an 'Arcana Force' monster to my hand, you get to choose his next effect."
"Alright stop," Night-Yusuke said. The card slowed and then landed upright.
"Now I get to summon another 'Arcana Force' monster from my hand without tributing, like this one 'Arcana Force IX- The Hermit' (2000/2000)," Sartorius explained, summoning his hooded monster with a lantern in its hand. "And you know what to do," He smirked.
"Stop," Night-Yusuke said. The card landed upside down.
"Now it flips facedown," Sartorius explained as his card flipped. "I'll end my turn with two facedowns."
"My turn," Night-Yusuke said, drawing his card. "I active, 'Clear Beacon' Now I can add 'Clear World' and a 'Clear' monster to my hand," He said, picking his cards. "I'll then activate 'Clear World', now you'll be playing with your hand revealed while I summon 'Clear Rage Golem' (1600/1800) and activate my spell card 'Clear Shard', now once per turn by paying life points equal to a monsters attack I can create a token of that monster that can't attack, but you can only attack it." (Night-Yusuke LP: 8000-6500) 'Arcana Force V- The Hierophant token' (1500/1500), 'Clear Rage Golem' attack 'Hierophant'. (Sartorius LP: 8000-7900). "That will be all for me."
"My move," Sartorius said. "I activate my trap card 'Suit of Wand X', when I have an 'Arcana Force' monster in my graveyard that was destroyed by battle, I'm allowed to activate an 'Arcana Force' spell directly from my deck with the effect I want," He explained. "I play 'Suit of Pentacle X' . It lets me send an 'Arcana Force' monster from my hand or field to the graveyard to have another gain its attack, I'll summon 'Arcana Force VII- The Chariot' (1700/1700)."
"Oh?" Night-Yusuke said smiling. "This may go bad for you, stop," He declared as the card stopped upside down.
"No it won't, I activate 'Reversal of Fate' to switch his effect, now any monster he destroys becomes mine," Sartorius continued. "Now I send 'Hermit' to the grave to add his attack to 'Chariot' (1700-3700/1700), 'Chariot' attack his token!" (Night-Yusuke LP: 6500-3200).
"Well then," Night-Yusuke said chuckling. "Hope that hit was worth it, because that's all you're going to get. I activate 'Clear Shards' second effect, when my token is destroyed I get those life points back." (Night-Yusuke LP: 3200-4700).
Sartorius glared. "I set a card and end my turn."
"I draw," Night-Yusuke smirked. "I activate 'Clear Haven' so I can turn attacks to direct attacks, but that's not all, I tribute 'Clear Golem' to summon 'Clear Vicious Knight!" He yelled, the knight appeared on the field with a dazzling blast. "'Knight' attack 'Chariot' and I'll use 'Haven' to attack directly!" (Sartorius LP: 7900-5600). "I'll set a card and end my turn."
"You're about to regret everything," Sartorius snarled. "I activate, 'Arcana Force X- Wheel of Fortunes' effect. By sending it to the graveyard I can draw a card, and if I call the right card I not only can use it, I will activate the second effect of 'Wheel'."
"Your odds of drawing a named card are astronomically low," Night-Yusuke snorted.
Sartorius smiled. "Fate and destiny will see me through," He said, setting his fingers on his deck and closing his eyes. "I see….This card will be…. 'Arcana Force XXI-The World'!" He yelled while drawing the card, showing Night-Yusuke he did indeed draw 'The World'.
"What?!" Night-Yusuke yelled angrily.
"I activate the 'Wheel of Fortunes' effect!" Sartorius yelled, pointing at the field. "I can now summon any 'Arcana Force' monsters from my deck with whatever effect I want," He said pointing at the field. "Prepare yourself Nightshroud, I summon 'Arcana Force VI-The Lovers' (1600/1600) and now I send him to the grave to summon 'Arcana Force XXI-The World' (3100/3100)!"
"You still have to get his heads effect," Night-Yusuke said. "And I say stop!"
"Fate has decreed I will win this fight," Sartorius said as his card stopped rotating, heads up. "Now I end my turn, and next turn this duel will be over."
Night-Yusuke growled as he looked at his hand, he couldn't win, and he didn't have another body to jump too, without Rose being here he didn't have a way to end the duel without losing his life. "No, no, no, no I'm not going back to the void!" He shouted.
"Yes you are Nightshroud," Sartorius said firmly. "Your reign of terror ends now, you won't escape fate this time!" He shouted.
"Umm, does anyone else hear that?" Hassleberry said looking up the sky, then a large monster with two dragon heads slammed into the mass of monsters flying around the school while 'I need a Hero' was playing at such a loud volume it was shaking the ground.
"What's up bitches!?" Rose screamed from the top of the monster. "I'm back and I'm ready to fuck up someones day!" She grinned madly, summoning her heroes. "Prepare your buttholes gentleman, here I come!" She laughed.
"Finally," Alexis mumbled.
"The sarge is back!" Hassleberry shouted.
"We may have a chance of getting away now," Bastion smiled.
"Well Nightshroud," Sartorius said smiling. "What are you going to do now?"
Night-Yusuke didn't respond, he just let out a loud sound as he stared at Rose. "Finally!" He laughed. "My victory is at hand!" He shouted leaving Yusuke's body and flying at Rose.
"Wait what?" Rose said as the orange blob attached itself to her duel disk. "Hey get off me!"
"Not till I get what I need!" Nightshroud shouted back as he rummaged through her deck, finally pulling out her 'Super Polymerization'. "Finally! The key to my return!" He shouted.
"Well good for you," Rose said, grabbing him with her darkness and throwing him off. "Unfortunately you won't be able to use it in that form without being destroyed."
"Well that won't be a problem if the thing I'm fusing with isn't sentient," Nightshroud chuckled as he reached out, sliding around Rose's darkness and into her chest.
"Hey hey hey! At least buy me dinner first!" Rose said grabbing Nightshroud and ripping him out.
"No need," He said, holding up his prize, a small white tuna crab with a framillar eye in the center. "I already got my new friend!"
"Is that…." Rose said, shaking slightly as the eye stared at her.
"Crab, crab, crab," It said, trying to escape from Nightshroud's grasp.
"Yes, this thing is all that is left of the Light of Destruction," Nightshroud chuckled. "And now it's all mine!" He yelled. "I activate 'Super Polymerization'!"
"Rose stop him!" Yubel yelled.
"I can't!" Rose yelled back as Yubel's monster form turned to dust, sending Rose plummeting to the ground as Nightshroud became enveloped in a swirling ball of black and white energy. "Everyone get back!"
"Finally I can finish what I started six thousand years ago!" Nightshroud yelled as the ball of energy came together around him, forming a black cloak. Inside of the billowing black cloak was a man's skeleton with a dragon's skull. Instead of a duel disk, five ratty looking bat wings decorated its back.
"...Oh….fuck," Rose mumbled stepping back.
"Time to send you and this entire universe to the dark world," He said, holding out his hand and summoning a black void around the school, and when it disappeared, the school was gone again.
