Author's note.

So, we now know that Marinette knows that William has a plan for Chloe's family. But, will she get suspicious about William up to the point of stalking? Only time will tell. This will also be the second story based on two ideas suggested to me by roggerlopez99. So, leave a review, sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

Chapter 15

Identity

William was in his room, fiddling with his phone, when a knock at the door came.

"Come in" said William. The door opened to reveal one of the maids.

"Oh, hi Valerie", said William. "Is there a problem?".

"No, but your father wishes to speak to you" answered Valerie. William then walked toward his father's office. There, standing by the desk, was Adrian and next to him was a woman with red and blue hair and a matching dress suit.

"Okay, I recognise Adrian", said William. "But who's the woman?".

"This is Nathalie", answered Ronald. "She's Gabriel's assistant".

"Really, huh?", wondered William. "I thought she was his nanny". That comment made Nathalie blush.

"So, what brings the two of you here?" I asked. Nathalie then walked up to me with a tablet in hand. The screen turned on to reveal Gabriel Agreste.

"Hello there, William" said Gabriel.

"What do you want?" Asked William.

"I was wondering if you'd be interested in doing a photoshoot with Adrian", answered Gabriel. "You seem to be quite popular".

"So, in translation", said William. "You need me to boost your popularity. Eh, sure. I could use an excuse to get out".

"Very well then", said Gabriel. "Nathalie will escort you to our shoot. And try not to insult someone".

"No promises, peppermint" retorted William. With that, the screen went dark.

"Follow me, William" said Nathalie. William then followed the two of them to Adrian's Limo, they got in and drove off. Adrian then tried to have conversation with William, but he had no interest and was fiddling on his phone. Eventually, they arrived at the shoot.

"so, uh, William", said Adrian. "You enjoying Paris so far?"

"It's not as boring as I thought it was gonna be" answered William.

"Boring?" Asked Adrian.

"I thought that this was going to be as boring as bat shit", answered William. "But, imagine my surprise when I find out that Paris has two teen heroes running around in skin tight outfits fighting a villain with a butterfly obsession". William could see that Adrian was blushing when he said 'skin tight outfits'.

"I take it YOU'RE one of those people who has fantasies about her?" Asked William. A wicked smirk on his face. This made Adrian turn deep red. Eventually, the shoot was ready. There were swarms of fans flocking near the shoot. Too the surprise of the staff, it wasn't because of Adrian. It seems that William's well toned body drew the crowd.

"Hey!", shouted William. "Take a picture, it lasts longer!". The fans then scattered.

"Hey, that wasn't very nice" said Adrian. William then glanced towards him.

"So?" Asked William.

"Don't you think that could be damaging to your father's reputation?" Asked Adrian. William just took out his phone.

"He knows what I'm like", answered William. "Besides, people rarely pay attention to the kids unless they're front and centre. My dad doesn't want me in the media unless it's absolutely necessary".

"And what about your attitude towards the others in our class?", asked Adrian. "It got two of them Akumatized".

"First off, I don't give two shits about what those parts think", answered William. "And secondly, don't blame me because Cry Baby and Water Weight felt emotions". This was when Adrian realised something.

"Wait", said Adrian. "Why are you nice to me and Marinette?".

"Because you two don't piss me off", said William. "Besides, I'm also nice to Sabrina as well". This made Adrian raise an eyebrow.

"Why Sabrina?" Asked Adrian.

"Because I hate the fact she's treated like a slave", answered William. "So, I gave her a way out".

"A way out?" Asked Adrian.

"If she gathers enough dirt on Chloe's father and family, I'd make sure she NEVER has to anything that self-serving blonde bimbo asks her to. Hell, I'll even make sure she can't get anywhere near her" answered William. Just then, there were people running away shouting 'AKUMA!'. Adrian and William then looked to see a giant baby rampaging around the city.

"What the actual fuck?" William asked.

"It's Gigantitan" said Adrian. William then turned to look at him.

"You're, you're serious?" Asked William. The look that Adrian gave him a look that said it all.

"Oh my god you are" said William. Gigantitan was getting closer to them. So, he made a dash for it. He knocked over people and even jumped on a few cars. He then saw that Ladybug and Chat Noir were now dealing with Gigantitan. Scul then came out of his pocket.

"So, we gonna eat this one?" Asked Scul.

"No, we are not", answered Scul. "I'm an asshole, not a monster". They were in an alleyway, when something came flying towards them. It was Ladybug, who had landed on the ground and was out.

"Holy shit" said William. Scul saw this as an opportunity. He flew towards Ladybug and went for one of the earrings.

"Payback time" he said. He then pulled out one off the earrings, that was when William grabbed him.

"Are you nuts?", asked William. "You can't just-". He then stopped when he was that Ladybug's costume was fading away. When the mask was gone, he knew who it was.

"Marinette" said William. He took the earring out of Scul's hands and placed it back on Marinette's ear. Her costume then fully came back.

"Let's get out off here" said William before he ran off. He hid in near the seine, and waited for the fight to be over. After another 10 minutes, the fight was over and the ladybugs did their thing. William then got out from hiding and saw the crowds surrounded Ladybug and Chat Noir.

After that, William headed back to the shoot.

"I'm surprised that they're still willing to do the shoot after this" said William.

"Yeah, but with Ladybug", said Adrian. "We have nothing to worry about".

"You love Ladybug, don't you?" Asked William.

"Uh, y-yeah" said Adrian.

"What about Marinette?", asked William. "She sure seems to like you".

"Oh no", said Adrian. "Marinette's just a friend". William then slammed his head into the table.

"You okay?" Asked Adrian. William then raised his head and looked at him.

"You, are an idiot", said William. "A big, idiot". That night, Ladybug and Chat Noir were on patrol, when Chat Noir notices that something is bothering Ladybug.

"Is everything alright, M'Lady?" Asked Chat Noir. Ladybug then stopped on top of a building and Chat Noir soon followed.

"It's, about everything that happened recently" answered Ladybug.

"You talking about the Wendigo?" Asked Chat Noir. Ladybug only nodded.

"When we first met him", said Ladybug. "He called me a traitor and a murderer. But, he then said I wasn't her. What does he mean by that?".

"Who knows", answered Chat Noir. "And can we focus on the fact that he ate a person".

"I am well aware of that", said Ladybug. "A lot of people are divided on that. And have you heard about the Mayoral race?".

"Yeah, I heard about him", answered Chat Noir. "But, do you think he intends to help us?".

"Given how agitated he sounded", answered Ladybug. "I think there is at least SOME honesty to his words".

"Regardless, purincess", said Chat Noir. "I still think we should keep an eye on him".
