Author's note.

5 more chapters until we see the results of who's mayor. And it looks like William's taking no prisoners here. And yes, I do have a chapter named 'Intercourse'. Is it about sex? Who knows? Also, this chapter's gonna be a bit shorter, sorry about that. But for now, leave a review, sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

Chapter 21

Bones

Time 'til Election Day: 5

William looked down at resort lobby. He saw all the people talking, making accomodations and fiddling on their phones. Some crying caught his attention and he saw a baby being picked up by it's mother. William only stared at them.

"You alright, Master William?" Asked a voice. William looked to see Valerie standing there.

"Oh, hi Valerie" said William. Valerie then looked to where William was staring and saw the baby and mother.

"Master William", said Valerie. "I know you miss her".

"Yeah", said William. "But, I've moved on. I've mourned. I've cried. But I moved on". He then walked away and into his room. Scul then flew out of his pocket.

"We both know that's bullshit" said Scul.

"Don't Scul" said William.

"I'm serious", said Scul. "You haven't moved on from her. All this time, you still miss her embrace".

"I was only 4", said William. "I can barely remember the things from when I was 4".

"And yet you remember how much they said she was worth, right?" Asked Scul. William just sat down.

"10000 dollars", said William. "That's how much they thought she was worth. She is worth so much more than that".

Meanwhile, Ronald was in his office when there was a knock at the door.

"Come in" said Ronald. The door opened to reveal Valerie. She entered the room and closed the door.

"What seems to be the problem, Valerie?" Asked Ronald.

"It, William", said Valerie, catching Ronald's attention. "I think he's, having another flashback". Ronald laid back in his chair and pinched his eyes.

"He misses her" said Ronald.

"He does", said Valerie. "You know how he's been since he found that necklace of his". Ronald then remover his hand from his eyes.

"I do what I can", said Valerie. "But, he might need more help. He did make friends though, remember Marinette?".

"I just hope this can be the light in his darkness" sighed Ronald. Valerie then left, leaving Ronald alone.
