Chapter 25

Ghost Coder

Time 'til Election Day: 1

Election Day was just a sleep away. Everybody was wondering who would win, given how desperate Mayor Bougeois can be. William was in his room, looking at the Ghost Coder.

"You really think that thing will work?" Asked Scul.

"I have little reason to believe it won't" answered William. A knock then came at William's Door.

"Come in" said William. The door opened to reveal Valerie.

"Oh, hi Valerie" said William.

"Master William", said Valerie. "I thought you should know that, the fashion show will be happening after the election".

"Okay", said William. "Are you warning me because of Audrey?".

"Yes, that stuck up bitch is coming", answered Valerie. "Ugh, but she she won't be so high and mighty after your dad wins the election".

"Nothing's set in stone, Valerie" said William.

"But, with how much support your dad has", said Valerie. "Victory is all but certain".

"You are WAY too confident in this" said William.

"You say over confident", said Valerie. "I say, looking at the facts". She then left and closed the door.

"So, who are we gonna use this on first?" Asked Scul.

"What about Mayor Bougeois' computer?" Asked William. Scul smirked.

"I think that's the perfect choice" answered Scul.

"But how to get in?" Asked William.

"Leave that to me" said Scul.

Later on, William was outside of city hall.

"You sure you know what you're doing?" Asked William.

"Don't you worry", said Scul. "I got this". Scul's eyes then turned red and William was now dressed up in a business suit.

"Nice", said William. "Some might call this op, but animated power levels are bullshit anyways, just like the beauty standards of society". William then walked inside.

'No one notices me', William thought. 'I'll be out of here in no time'. He soon made his way to the mayor's office.

"Let's hope he's as stupid as we believe him to be" said William. He then grabbed the door handle and opened the door.

"Hah! Fucking moron" said William. His eyes then fell on the mayor's desk.

"Bingo" said William. He then walked over to the desk and sat down in the chair.

"Now", said William. "Let's put this thing to work". He then plugged the ghost coder in, after a few seconds, he was in.

"Thank you~Max", said he said. "Now, let's see what we can find". He then started typing away on the keyboard.

"Hmm", said William curiously. "My my my. You have been busy. And it looks like your marriage to that bitch ain't based on love". He then unplugged the Ghost Coder and walked out. When they got back, Scul dropped the disguise.

"I'd say the test run was successful" said William.

"Indeed", said Scul. "Now, all of those wicked souls, are at our fingertips".
