Deathtouched - Chapter 18
Zoe hurried home and quickly dressed in her Priestess garb. Her wives and Nick were already dressed and waiting on her before they headed to the studio where the interview was to take place. As they drove, they asked her about Gabriel and she said she needed to talk to them after the interview that it was too important to rush. They were ushered into an open studio where five chairs had been placed, four in a semi circle in front of a single seat. All of the seats were situated on a large area rug. It seemed the illusion they were trying to portray was one of a close and personal interview.
Fabienne greeted them, shaking all of their paws. Zoe used her astral sight and could see no hint of subterfuge in her, it seemed as if this would be an honest interview. The staff offered them snacks and drinks as they finished readying the set. It didn't take long and they were seated and hooked into their microphones. They made small talk with Fabienne, who let them know what questions she planned on asking, while waiting for the last few minutes before the interview was to begin.
Soon the staff member began the countdown and Fabienne began speaking into the camera positioned on the boom behind them and over their heads.
"Good evening Zootopia, This is Fabienne Growley with a special interview. With me tonight are 4 mammals, 2 of which are easily recognizable, Nicke Wilde and Judy Hopps. With them are Judy's two wives, Abigail and Zoe Hopps. Nick, ladies, welcome."
Their thanks were staggered, but sincere.
"Now, Judy, I understand that Nick will be joining your marriage with your wives soon."
"Tomorrow actually Fabienne." Fabienne's eyes widened, even though she knew the information already.
"I'd heard that it was a few more weeks away."
"It was," Judy confirmed, "but given the circumstances, we decided to move the date up."
"And that would be..." Fabienne asked, leading them to explain the situation to the viewing public.
"That we're pregnant." Zoe said simply.
"Well, congratulations. Just to be clear though, each one of you is pregnant? And Nick is the father?"
"Yes to both questions Fabienne." Abby replied.
They had agreed that each of them were to be given a chance to speak.
"So, how did this occur? As far as I know, there's never been a case where a predator has impregnated a prey species before, or vice versa for that matter."
Zoe, being the most informed fielded this question. "True. During research last year, I couldn't find any inter-species births that were from predator/prey couples. If we'd have known it was possible we would have taken precautions. The reason we're pregnant is due to my Goddess Melinoe. She's known as the Goddess of Ghosts, but lesser well known as the Goddess of Fertility. I believe she felt my desire for children and blessed me, us, with kits."
"So, how did that work?" Fabienne asked.
This time, Nick answered in his usual, humorous manner. "Well Fabienne, you see, when 2 mammals like each other..."
Most of the crew laughed, or, at least smiled at the joke. Nick answered honestly after the laughter died down. "Zoe here is favored of her goddess so we were blessed with kits. None of us thought it could happen but we're not unhappy about it."
"So if an inter-species couple were to pray to Melinoe, they could have children?"
Zoe looked a little uncomfortable as she answered the question. "There was a little bit more involved in it, which I won't go into on air since it's personal. If any inter-species couple would like to know how it's possible, they can get in contact with me through the temple, but only if they're serious."
"I'm sure they're mammals out there that already plan to find out on to conceive using you're method Zoe."
Zoe could see the interest and need increase within Fabienne as she heard Zoe's answer, and she was sure that Fabienne would be one of the first to talk to her about it. The rumor of her dating her co-ancor seemed a little less of a rumor now.
"How does it work between the 4 of you? 3 rabbits being with a fox? Not just your relationship being about predator and prey, but you have to admit that there's a bit of a size difference amongst your 2 species."
Nick answered again. "There is. I admit it was one of things that I thought about when Judy asked me out the first time. I was always afraid of hurting her, but she had faith in me, just like during the Night Howler case. I felt the same when she asked me to marry her and her wives. I would keep asking myself 'am I good enough for them?'. It took me a while before I realized that I loved each of them and they loved me."
"What about the physical side of your relationship? Obviously, it works but..." Fabienne asked, leaving the rest unsaid.
"It wasn't easy, still isn't in some ways, but we love Nick and wanted to have him with us in all ways. My wives and I have agreed that it was well worth it and we couldn't be happier." Abby stated.
"Zoe, I understand that you're an Entry. Could that be why you became a Priestess of Melinoe?"
"In a way, yes. I could always interact with spirits even in my previous life. But the worship of our gods declined over time in my home reality, becoming mere myths and legends. When Vivian, the local Priestess of Hera in the Tri-Burrows area, married my wives and I, she suggested the priesthood to me. After some time to reflect on it, I accepted and became an acolyte."
"And your recent visit to a ZPD crime scene involving a homicide?"
Nick and his fiance's stiffened slightly before Judy answered, "We're not allowed to comment on an ongoing investigation Fabienne."
Fabienne smiled, but there was no hard feelings at not being able to find out more about the murder.
"We'd like to thank all of you for being here tonight and wish you well tomorrow." Fabienne looked up like she did at the beginning of the interview and finished. "Good night Zootopia."
They all sat there in silence until the manager yelled "Cut!" and they all, including Fabienne, relaxed.
The staff helped them take off their microphones, Fabienne talking to them about their wedding until the crew left. During their conversation, Fabienne moved closer to the mammals before looking around and asking, in a quiet, humble voice, asked "Mrs. Hopps... Zoe. May I speak with you for a moment?"
Zoe smiled. "Of course. I'll be right back Loves." She then kissed Nick and her wives before following Fabienne to a small dressing room.
After shutting the door behind them, Fabienne turned and suddenly seemed very shy. Zoe noticed that she seemed about to speak several times before Zoe just knew.
"I assume you want to ask me about how to get pregnant?"
Fabienne couldn't seem to meet her eyes as she whispered, "Yes, Priestess."
"By your co-host." Zoe said firmly.
Fabienne's head snapped up and looked at Zoe in astonishment. "You... you know?"
Zoe smiled benignly at her. "I'm blessed by several of the gods and goddesses Fabienne. Sometimes I'm given to just know things.' Fabienne nodded, still a little awed at Zoe.
"Peter and I have been dating for a while now and we've talked about getting married. We've discussed having children, but every doctor we've talked to said it was impossible, predator and prey can't have children. But, here you are, carrying a foxes kit."
"3 actually, I'm having triplets."
Fabienne hit her knees, her hands clasped in front of her. "Please Priestess. Tell me how I can get pregnant? I'd love to have Peter's children." She asked Zoe pleadingly.
Zoe could see no subterfuge on Fabienne's part, she truly wanted to get pregnant. Zoe smiled and stroked the fur on Fabienne's cheek.
"Fabienne, pray to Melinoe. But I have to tell you that, in order to conceive, a bit more may be required of both of you."
"Anything!" Fabienne said, her eyes glistening with unshed tears, her face hopeful.
"The first time Nick and I made love, I asked him to bite me. I had the urge and thought it would be... kinky... if he did. After some encouragement from Judy and Abby, he did, breaking the skin and making me bleed. It was... highly erotic."
"How does that relate to you getting pregnant?" Fabienne asked breathlessly. She had to admit she'd harbored urges along a similar vein, but such a thing was considered taboo, a throwback to their savage ancestry.
"Fabienne," Zoe said softly, "Sometimes, the gods require a sacrifice."
Fabienne's eyes grew large just before she grabbed Zoe and gave her a tight hug. A little too tight actually. "Pregnant!" Zoe was able to squeak out, causing Fabienne to release her instantly, her face contrite.
"I'm so sorry Priestess! Are you okay?"
Zoe turned her sight to herself to see 3 very happy lights inside of her. "I'm fine, and so are my babies."
Jumping to her feet with the widest grin plastered on her feet, Fabienne thanked Zoe and then raced out of the dressing room. Zoe couldn't help but smile. Without any outside indication, Zoe was sure that Fabienne would be expecting in a few months.
oooOOOooo
"Okay, so spill." Abby said just after they got into their car.
"Let's wait until we get home. We can swing by Stripes. I'm hungry and I want some jalapeno poppers, bbq chicken wings, and ice cream!" Zoe said, getting more excited the more items she listed.
Nick winced at the mention of chicken wings. Rabbits were herbivores weren't they? At least, he'd never heard of rabbits eating meat. But it did sound good. Abby's eyes widened as she added "And chocolate syrup!"
Nick decided to put his opinion in "Ice cream with chocolate syrup sounds yummy."
His three wives looked at him like he'd lost his mind. Judy explained it to him. "Nick, Love, the chocolate syrup is for the bbq wings!" Then she rolled her eyes, looked at her wives and said "Males!"
None of them seemed to notice the slight shade of green that Nick had on his face.
oooOOOooo
After they got home and set up the table in order to consume their goodies, Nick found out that the chocolate syrup had, indeed, been intended for the wings. Nick's stomach twisted uncomfortably and explained that he had lost his appetite, his soon to be wives descended on his meal like a flight of locusts and it was gone, added to their share of the food.
"I didn't think rabbits ate meat." Nick expressed his earlier thought.
"We don't." Abby said as she stripped the meat from her thrid wing.
"But we're craving meat." Zoe said, shrugging.
"Can't help this Nick." Judy said, pausing her next bite to be able to say that, her eyes looking at him apologetically.
As his fiance's sat reclining in their chairs, their stomachs bulging from more than just their baby bumps, Nick removed the remains of their repast. Sitting down, he looked at his sated ladies. "Okay Zoe, what about this Gabriel fella?"
Zoe groaned. Now all she wanted to do was go to bed and snuggle up against her favorite mammals. A desire shared by her wives, but she knew she'd promised.
"Ugh. Okay. I met with Linda's brother, Gabriel, and was shocked to find out that I'd already seen him before in a dream of mine. He had the exact shade of fur, the same blue eyes, and even the same timbre of voice." The others looked at her a bit dumbfounded.
"Okay." Judy said, drawing the word out. "Did you get any nudges?"
Zoe looked concerned. "No, not a one! That's why my dream was so weird."
"What was your dream about Z." Abby asked.
Nick had been looking back and forth to his fiance's as each spoke, making it look like he was watching a tennis match. Zoe sighed and placed her hands over her womb, feeling the bean sized specks that were her future children. "We were all living in a large, two story house at the top of a hill in the Meadolands. It was newer, but styled like an old house. Nick and our kits were in the front yard, playing..."
"Oh!" Abby cried, her eyes getting large and filling with tears
"What do our babies look like?"
"They were mostly rabbits, most had some red to them. There were a couple of fox kits. One of which had Judy's eyes. And they were beautiful!"
"Awwww!" Abby and Judy exclaimed, sounding suspiciously like Clawhauser.
"Anyway," Zoe continued, "we were standing on the veranda, watching them play, when I heard a deep voice inside asking me where the spaghetti sauce was. I was very pregnant and, Judy, in my dream you were too, but not with Nick's kits."
Judy raised her eyebrows in surprise at that statement. Nick looked surprised as well, and, maybe, a little worried. "When they came out, it was Gabriel, exactly as he is in real life! I knew that he was our husband as well as Nick. He kissed me and put his paw on my stomach so I warned him to not wake up our cubs because they liked to kick."
The group was quiet for a while, trying to process what Zoe had just informed them. Abby was the first to speak.
"Was I pregnant?" She asked.
"Not in my dream, no." Abby looked a little disappointed.
"So, no nudges. What about knowing?" Nick asked.
Zoe shook her head. "Nope, nothing. No nudges at all and no sudden knowledge that we would be getting married to him."
"So, does this mean we're going to marry him or... what?" Judy asked Zoe.
"I don't know Love, I've never had a dream that seemed so real like that before, much less one that came true. I do know that Apollo is the God of Prophesy and Seer's. So... it's possible?"
"Can you find out?" Nick asked.
"She can't use her abilities for personal gain." Abby informed him.
"She's right, I can't try to determine my own fate. The best I can do is visit the Temple of Apollo and ask for a sign."
"That's disappointing." Judy said, everyone nodding in agreement.
Each sat, thinking their own thoughts, when Zoe spoke up. "I'm hungry." She said, just as her stomach growled.
"Me too!" Abby chimed in.
"And me!" Judy added. Nick looked at them in shock. They'd just finished a huge meal not 30 minutes ago! "Nick!" All three does yelled at the same time.
"I want pickles! With peanut butter, fried beetles, and whipped cream!" Zoe insisted.
"Ooo! Me too, but I want some yogurt with fried mushrooms as well!" Abby said, bouncing a little.
"I don't know, I'm feeling kind of like... wood. Pawpsicle sticks, I want pawpsicle sticks!" Judy added.
Nick now looked at them in horror, as if it were the beginning of the zombie apocalypse. When he heard Zoe start growling, he quickly left to get the required items to ensure his wives continued happiness. How long does this phase of pregnancy last? He asked himself.
oooOOOooo
All four mammals had a surprising restful sleep, given the night before and what was due to occur within the next five hours. Nick was the first to wake up and he just luxuriated in being cuddled up with his fiance's, Abby on his left, Zoe on his right, and Judy somehow curled around his head. It felt warm and comfortable enough that he didn't want to move.
But, they had to get up and get ready before heading into the Meadowlands. Nick had barely moved when all three doe's jumped up and out of bed, instantly wide awake. There was a flurry of movement as each one started getting ready, brushing their teeth and their fur, pulling on their dresses, making sure each other had their garlands adjusted just right.
Nick was chuckling near silently as he watched his loves go about their preparations. Apparently he wasn't quiet enough as their heads turned at the sound and focused on him. Nick started to back away, waving his paws in what he hoped was a placating manner and said "Now ladies, let's not get carried away!"
But, it was for naught. Grabbing him, all three proceeded to brush and comb and style his fur to their satisfaction. They dressed him in the suit they had bought for him and even applied their favorite cologne to his neck fur and the collar of his crisp, white shirt. Stepping back to observe their handiwork, the three wives were pleased with what they had accomplished. Nick looked at least semi-respectable.
oooOOOooo
The soon to be wedded lovers stood close together in a room at the back of the venue. The doe's trying to calm Nick's nerves, but not succeeding very well. There was a knock at the door just before it opened, and a pretty White Tailed Deer wearing the garb of a High Priestess of Hera came in. Zoe left the group to meet her as the deer walked in.
"Greetings Priestess! We're honored that you accepted the task of adding Nick to our marriage." Zoe said, causing the deer to smile.
"Well met as well Priestess, and how could I not accept with having such wonderful mammals wanting to be bound together?"
"May I introduce you to my co-wives and soon to be husband?"
"I know each of you already, but please do."
"Priestess, be known to Judy Hopps, my first wife. Abigail Hopps, our third, and Nick Wilde, our husband. My loves, allow me to introduce you to Wendy, the High Priestess of Hera."
"Hello!"
"Hi!"
"Nice to meet you Priestess!" Judy said, being more formal than all of them except Zoe.
"This is a wonderful day my children! Not only is my goddess, Hera, pleased that four such amazing mammals wish to be bound together. But Aphrodite is as well. Selene wanted me to tell you that Aphrodite blesses each of you for showing all of Zootopia that love can overcome any difference among us."
"Now," Wendy resumed, "Zoe, Abigail, Judy. You three will be at the front of the chapel area on the left side and will be waiting for Nick. Nick, when the bells start, the doors will be opened and you will begin to walk, slowly, up the aisle to your wives. I know you're nervous, but don't walk too fast. And for the sake of the gods, don't run away!"
"If he tries he'll have three very angry doe's chasing him!" Judy growled, glaring at Nick with narrowed eyes. The other two doe's quickly followed suit.
Nick let out a very audible gulp, but was able to reply to the High Priestess in a surprisingly steady voice. "Running never crossed my mind Priestess. If I did, someone would be taking my place and I never want that to happen!"
Wendy laughed. "Wisely spoken." Turning to the three does she added "Well trained already I see!"
Nick's eyes widened but relaxed when Judy said "She's kidding Nick."
"Yes. Just trying to lighten the mood. This is supposed to be a joyous time after all!" Wendy opened the door to reveal an opossum in acolytes robes waiting there. "Ella here will escort Nick to where he will wait for his cue. I'll escort the ladies to their spot. Don't worry, everything will over before you know it!"
Nick kissed his wives goodbye and followed Ella down the hall to where he had to wait. Judy, Zoe, and Abigail followed Wendy out to the front of the chapel where the dais was located. A short set of risers had been placed there so that the mammals in the back of the chapel could see them.
There was one for Nick to stand on as well, just not as high. Everyone tried to ignore the TV cameras that had been set to both broadcast and record the ceremony. They were allowed only so long as there were no reporters providing a commentary while the ceremony was taking place. They had a good view of all the mammals present.
The Hopps clan was well represented. Including Candace, and Gloria with Gideon sitting between them, Darla to one side. Chief Bogo, Clawhauser, Wolford, and Fangmeyer were present, representing the ZPD. Aaron was there wearing his High Priest garb in the front row with two priests sitting on either side of him. Aaron was grinning widely, his blind face showing such and expression of joy that it seemed as if he were infecting those around him with it.
Judy was in the center with Abigail and Zoe on either side and holding her paws. Wendy continued to whisper to them, congratulating them on choosing such a good mate.
"Bong!" The first bell sounded. It was a medium high note that reverberated around the chapel.
"Bong!" The guests quieted down, waiting expectantly.
"Bong!" On the third bell, the double doors at the back of the chapel opened, to reveal Nick standing there. His eyes searched, and quickly found, the doe's he was about to bind himself to. a grin sprang up, unable to keep his happiness hidden. Now that it was time, he found that he was no longer nervous. Instead, it was all he could do to keep from running to his doe's.
"Bong!" Nick began strolling up the aisle, the guests blurry on the edge of his vision, his eyes only on the grey, black, and white figures standing there waiting for him to join them. Each of the wives gaze was hard locked on their husband as he slowly walked up the aisle, his back straight and his chest out. That his eyes never left them made their breathing quicken and their hearts beat faster.
Zoe didn't realize it, but Wendy could feel the love pouring off of them like a heat lamp. When Nick finally reached the little riser he stepped up without even looking at it. Finnick and Evan stood between Nick and the guests at an angle so that they all could be seen, just like the brides.
Finnick's female friend's eyes shown brightly when she saw him in a suit similar to Nicks and even began having thoughts of a similar event happening between the two of them. Wendy raised her paws to capture everyone's attention, but it really wasn't necessary. Every pair of eyes save one were riveted to the mammals at the front of the chapel.
"Greetings friends and family to the marriage ceremony between Judith, Zoe, and Abigail Hopps to Nicholas Wilde. Today is a momentous day and it is my honor, privilege, and joy to join these four exceptional mammals together. Selene, the High Priestess of Aphrodite informed me that Aphrodite herself has blessed this union between predator and prey, saying that love has no boundry's. And I can feel the gentle happiness of my goddess at these mammals wishing to be bound in marriage.
Marriage is a bond. A promise between one or more mammals that they love each other and will be there for each other, no matter what. It is a joining of souls as well as hearts and minds. These wonderful mammals have been able to overlook the outer shell, the ancient enmity of their respective species, and found a love that transcends stereotypes. They have informed me that they wish to say something before they're wed. Judith?"
Judy straightened fractionally and spoke directly to Nick. "Nick, although it took a bit of persuading at first you helped me prove myself. You stuck by me when no one else would and together we proved that small mammals can make a difference. During our adventure, I learned to appreciate your strength and humor, your steadfastness. You stick to your word when you give it, and that makes you an honorable mammal."
Abigail was next. "I admit to being a little hesitant at first, but that wasn't due to your species. I was concerned about how big you were. I mean, I'm a little rabbit after all. But, I knew I loved you after our second date. You were such a gentlemammal, kind and considerate. I am happy to marry you today and I'm overjoyed to be able to give you kits."
Zoe looked at Nick and smiled. "Nick. I knew I would love you before I even met you. I respected you for helping Judy save those mammals and her badge, something she'd wanted since forever. Your bravery was evident during that time. We dated, and I got to know you. You are caring and affectionate, humorous and attentive. You are the kind of boyfriend, fiance, and husband mammals everywhere should aspire to. We love you Nick, and we're ready to be bound to you in marriage."
Nick could feel tears welling up and had to clear his throat before he was ready to begin. He took a small step forward and looked each of his wives in the eye as he spoke to them.
"Judy, you were the first mammal to ever believe in me other than my mother and you have no idea how great that made me feel. Your loyalty, genuine caring, your support, means the world to me. I knew I loved you even before the end of the Night Howler incident. But, in my head, I was still just a fox and I kept thinking 'What rabbit could love a fox?". I relegated myself to the friend zone thinking that at least I could be your partner and be near you. But you surprised me. You overlooked the stereotypes and asked me out.
Abigail. You were a nervous little bunny on our first few dates, but I came to love you after seeing how big of a heart you have. Your patience, your calm demeoner, all make you the amazing mammal that you are. I have no doubt that it was due to your personality that Zoe was drawn to you.
And Zoe. I admit being a little taken aback when I first saw you. I was honestly a little intimidated by you, a priestess. But your easy-going manner and exquisite sense of humor put me at ease. So much so that I couldn't stop thinking about you and was on pins and needles waiting for our next date."
Nick stepped back and Wendy, with a huge grin on her face, continued. Turning to Judy, she began.
"Judith Hopps, is it your intention to bind yourself to Nick Wilde as his wife, to aid him in his endeavors and to support him? Will you love him and cherish him all your days?"
"It is."
"Abigail Hopps, is it your intention to bind yourself to Nick Wilde as his wife, to aid him in his endeavors and to support him? Will you love him and cherish him all your days?"
"It is."
"Zoe Hopps, intention to bind yourself to Nick Wilde as his wife, to aid him in his endeavors and to support him? Will you love him and cherish him all your days?"
"It is."
"Nick Wilde. Is it your intention to bind yourself to these three doe's, Judith, Abigail, and Zoe Hopps? To love them and care for them, to not place one above the rest. To support them and aid them when needed?"
"It is."
Wendy looked out over the assembled guests and said. "As it is the stated intention of these mammals to bind themselves together in marriage and having declared such to these witnesses and the gods. I declare that Nick Wilde and Judith, Abigail, and Zoe Hopps are now one in marriage. You may kiss the brides!"
All four mammals stepped off the risers and came together. Nick kissed Judy first, a tender, heartfelt kiss full of promise. Abigail was next, pressing her lips against his, full of the love she felt for him. He kissed her back with the same fervor. When it was Zoe's turn, she once again went against convention. As their lips met, she pulled hard on his tie, forcing his muzzle hard against hers, and opened her mouth. When his tongue slipped in and started dancing with hers, her arms went around his neck and he grabbed her waist hard. Neither heard the cheers that erupted amongst the guests.
oooOOOooo
The reception had been catered by the staff of The Courtyard and they'd outdone themselves. There were foods, including exotic foods, for every palate. There were star fruit, dragon fruit, and kiwi as well as the more normal fare. For the omnivore's and carnivores present, there was the normal chicken and beetle offerings, but in addition there were several geese and a multitude of various duck dishes. Some guests raised their eyebrows as the wives loaded their plates with jalapeno beetle poppers as well as some goose and duck.
Whenever they saw the glances they just shrugged and said "Cravings."
Nick and his wives were introduced to the other's friends that they hadn't met yet. Nick and Gideon seemed to have hit it off right from the start. Candace and Gloria grinning with their arms wrapped around each of Gideons. Darla standing behind and to one side, beaming and thinking of grandchildren.
Nick met Aaron and was more than a little intimidated by him, but the soft spoken wolf soon had Nick at ease and laughing at jokes Aaron would tell. His introduction to the High Priestess of Aphrodite went an entirely different direction. Nick was currently escorting Zoe around, their arms entwined. It seemed his wives had decided taking turns hanging off his arm while the others mingled.
Zoe spied Selene over by the libations table and guided Nick over. When Selene noticed them, she turned with a smile to greet them. "Zoe, a true pleasure! My goddess is very happy with you! If you weren't already a Priestess of Melinoe, I'd offer you a place in our order."
Zoe grinned back "My pleasure Selene. Selene, be known to my husband, Nick. Nick, be known to Selene, High Priestess of Aphrodite."
Selene looked at Nick in a very appreciative manner, taking the claw from her pinky finger and running it over her lower lip in a very seductive manner. Zoe heard Nick's gulp very clearly, and she chuckled internally. Selene would tease but wouldn't touch without permission, but Nick didn't know that. Still looking at Nick, Selene addressed Zoe. "Zoe, if you, Nick, and your wives should ever be of a mind to spend some time with me, I'm sure you won't regret it. I have a very... well stocked bedroom."
Then she leaned over and kissed Zoe between her ears before turning around and leaving, looking back over her shoulders, giving them both a smoldering look. Nick continued to stare at the cougar until Zoe nudged him and asked, "You okay Nick?"
Nick gulped again and confessed. "I'm sorry Love, but I couldn't help responding to her."
To his surprise, Zoe laughed. "Nick, as the High Priestess of Aphrodite, Selene oozes sex appeal. I suspect phermones myself."
"So her offer to have sex with her was part of her style?"
"Oh no, she was serious."
Nick just gaped at her, making her laugh again. "So you... y'all..." He muttered, aghast.
"No, not yet at any rate. The first offer was just after we met you and our relationship with you was more important. Not that we weren't tempted mind you. And, if you'd like to we can. Or, we may ask permission to sleep with her. Personally, I wouldn't mind trying her out."
"I felt like a piece of meat on display. Now I know how some girls feel when they say they feel objectified."
"Don't worry Nick. I'm sure you'd survive being eaten the way she wants to do it." Nick felt his cheeks redden, once again thankful that his fur color hid the traces of it.
Ever since his wives had gotten pregnant, they'd been just as loving, but doing more experimentation. To the point now where they would tie him down, including his stomach and thighs, to prevent him from instinctively thrusting too hard and knotting them. So far Abby was, surprisingly, the only one other than Zoe that had accepted his knot anally. Judy held the record for oral though, actually being able to touch her lips to his knot. Zoe wasn't far behind though.
Towards the end of the reception Nick and his wives were talking in a family group with Stu, Bonnie, Darla, Candace, Gloria, and Gideon.
"So, Gideon. You and my sisters huh?" Zoe asked in amusement.
Gideon grinned sheepishly, completely opposite of the bully he'd been in his younger days. "Yeah, Zoe. I'm right happy about it! Both of them want to be with me. me!"
"And Zoe." Candace interjected. "We want you, besides Darla that is, to be the first to know. We're engaged!"
Zoe's jaw dropped before she squealed "Eeeeeeeeeee!" making heads turn in her direction just in time for them to see Zoe launch herself at her sister and give her a huge hug before doing the same to Gloria and Gideon.
Judy asked Gideon "You don't mind they're carrying another fox's kits?"
Gideon smiled. "Nah, that happened before we got together so how could I hold it against them? I'll have mine someday."
His mother's grin widened at that statement.
"What about your rings? I didn't see any on your fingers." Abby pointed out.
"Because this was y'all's day and we didn't want to detract from it. We'll make an official announcement next week." Her mother explained. The newlyweds headed to the food laden tables for one last bite of beetle poppers and duck before heading up to their room.
oooOOOooo
Nick closed and locked the door to their suite only to turn and see his wives eagerly divesting themselves of their clothes with relieved sighs. Nick smiled, admiring his wives bodies, including their baby bumps, and followed their lead as he walked into the room, placing his jacket, tie, and shirt over the back of one of the chairs. Clad now in only his slacks, he sighed as well and said "That was surprisingly tiring my Loves."
"Not too tired I hope Husband." Abby purred, completely naked, stressing the word 'husband'.
"Yeah Nick, Lover, you're day has just begun!" Judy said, placing a paw on his stomach.
"I agree wives, our Husband needs to perform his husbandly duties, don't you agree?" Zoe said, smiling, as she placed her paw on the opposite side of Judy's on Nick's stomach.
"Oh, I agree Z. And repeatedly too!" Judy said as her and Zoe began pushing a grinning, unresisting Nick toward the bed.
"At least twice each." Abby agreed, pulling out the straps to hold Nick's hips in place. The rest of the toys could wait until later. Maybe tomorrow night. Or in the morning. Early.
A/N: I'm not going to run this chapter into the 8k range just to put the wedding night lemon in. I never planned to write so many lemons, but, you know, rabbits... Next chapter will have a lemon (maybe two), joy, sorrow, pain, surprise, and horror. A revelation will be made and Zoe will discover that things will happen no matter what she wants.
I had a review about my other story The Unplanned Detour. I've completed it, but the individual expressed how the ending sickened him without explaining why. If you're going to comment about the story, for good or ill, at least let the author know, whether it's me or someone else. Otherwise, you're just a troll and will be ignored.
I'm going to try and finish posting The Unplanned Detour on AO3 later, as well as another chapter of my Glee fanfic, Changeling. That one doesn't seem to be doing too well on this site and only a little better on AO3. But, that's okay, I'm having fun writing it and that's what I want. If other's like it also, all the better.
