Deathtouched - Chapter 26 Nicholas Piberius Wilde!
Warning: Lime/Lemon content in this chapter.
Zoe was ensconced deep in the Temple Archives in the Minor Hall. A coating of thick dust lay upon all the documents and shelves in this section, the oldest in the room. It was so packed, that even being a rabbit she barely had room to turn around. Acolytes of Athena had been working tirelessly to commit all the knowledge stored here on paper to a digital format, but it was a monumental undertaking with only two of them able to do so at a time.
Thus, Zoe's current predicament, constant sneezing from the dust whenever she removed another scroll. Her search for both anything mentioning The Chosen as well as how Zootopia started so many years ago. While the records were very well organized, there was just so much information to go through. Not to mention that the further back she went, she found that the way the records were organized changed, actually making it even harder to find what she wanted.
After the speed bump at the first council meeting, everything seemed to have settled into an easy pace. Even though the High Priest of Zeus avoided her. Zoe found that, as High Priestess, there weren't really that much of a demand on her time and she was readily able to continue her schooling. The biggest drawback to this was that, since her investiture was televised, a majority of the public went out of their way to try and get a peek at her and her new mark, which interrupted her classes.
Linda, of course, thought it was super cool and wanted to introduce Zoe to her boyfriend, Walter, who didn't believe Linda when she said her and Zoe were friends. Abby and Judy had traveled back to Bunnyburrow and picked up their kits, bringing them back to the apartment. Everyone had been packing the last few weeks in preparation for the move to their new home in The Meadowlands. Zoe had talked to her parents and they confirmed that Aaron had, indeed, adopted Zoe into his family. She was now Zoe Darkwater-Hopps, the last of the Darkwater clan.
Even though Zoe wasn't inundated with duties thanks in part to how well organized the order was, in addition to the assistance of her aides, Wendy and Dan, she still found herself a very busy bunny. Between being a mother, a wife, a student, an advisor to the Mayor and the ZPD, she was also tracking down clues to The Chosen, whatever that was.
Unfortunately, that didn't leave a lot of time for intimacy between her and her husband and wives since she'd be so exhausted by the time she got home, she'd just pass out on the couch to wake and find herself in bed. She's also found out that Judy and Abby had been fielding the few questions that mixed species mammals asked about conceiving.
Zoe sneezed again, her left ear accidently knocking several scrolls off of one of the shelves. She bent over and began to gingerly pick up the fragile scrolls, some of which seemed as if they'd dissolve into dust if the cord holding it closed were to be undone. As she began placing the scrolls back onto the shelf one at a time, one of the cords broke. Zoe's heart stopped beating as the dowel fell, unrolling the ancient scroll as it went. Afraid to move, Zoe looked at the scroll, the majority of it illegible, but one phrase stood out to Zoe's eyesight.
Dá bhrí sin rinne Ethred dúshlán na ríthe agus chaill Óir ní raibh sé an Roghnaithe. Thaistil Ethred agus a lucht leanúna go leor lá agus oíche chun Baile a fháil. Cé go oiriúnach do go leor de na mamaigh a lean an focal de Ethred, ní raibh sé do chách. Dá bhrí sin labhair Ethred leis na daoine, "Déanfaimid an talamh seo do chách, go bhféadfaimis, mar dheartháir agus deirfiúracha, is cuma cén speiceas, a d'fhéadfadh maireachtáil ar aon dul. Agus chuala a mhuintir a chuid focal agus heartened, thosaigh a thógáil a n-nua chathair-stát, Zootopia.
Zoe's heart rate picked up, somehow she knew that this was what she'd been looking for. Slowly placing the part of the scroll she still held on the floor she placed the other's she'd knocked down back on their shelf. Picking up the one she needed, taking care not to damage it further, she carefully turned and hurried as fast as she dared to the desk where Isabella and Emma, two gray squirrel sisters and Acolyte's of Athena, were currently working.
"Emma! Isabella! Please tell me you can read this!" Zoe said as she carefully laid the scroll on the desk between their computers.
"Of course, Priestess!" Emma said. "It's in ancient Zootopian, every Acolyte of Athena is required to learn it."
"Especially before being allowed to work here in the Records room." Isabella added.
Zoe felt a huge release of tension, not having realized how hard she'd been driving herself lately. She sighed. "Could you please translate this passage and write it down for me?" She asked in a hopeful tone.
"Absolutely Priestess." Emma said, taking the scroll and reading as Isabella wrote down what she said.
"Thus did Ethred challenge the kings and lost, for he was not The Chosen. Ethred and his followers traveled many days and nights to find Home. While suitable for many of the mammals that followed the word of Ethred, it was not for all."
As Emma began reading, Zoe noticed that the words on the scroll began to make sense to her and, toward the end, was reading along with Emma.
"Thus Ethred spoke to the people, 'We shall make this a land for all, that we might, as brothers and sisters, no matter what species, live in harmony.' And his people heard his words and were heartened, thus they began to build their new city-state, Zootopia."
Zoe was so excited she was shaking, almost vibrating in place. "Please tell me if you know what kings the scroll spoke of! My history books only mention that Zootopia was founded back in 1120 ZD."
"Oh, sure Priestess! According to legend, there were three city-states before Zootopia, Predburg, Herdsville, and Omnivoria." Said Isabella.
"Yeah, and they were always fighting."
Zoe felt an intense wave of... something... wash through her and she knew that she'd found what she'd been looking for. "Is there anything in the legends that mention where these city-states are?"
"No Priestess, we're sorry, but the legends don't speak of it." Emma answered.
Zoe's ears drooped, she'd hoped that all he answers had been found, but it looks like she was just getting started. At least she felt a renewed sense of hope.
"Thank you, ladies. I'd hoped that I was done, but it looks like I've only started." Zoe said, a little dejectedly.
"Breadcrumbs." Isabella answered.
"We'll put the scroll back for you Priestess." Emma said.
"Again, thank you for everything ladies. May the gods bless you for your efforts in this."
She left them with big grins on their faces, deciding to call it a night and head home. She really needed a break. There had been several more Cannibal Killers attacks with little more information discovered. The autopsy of the wolf that had attacked her, one Aiden Springer, had revealed a drug in his system that had elements of the Night Howler chemical that Bellwether had developed, but with more psychotropic qualities. This made the victims not only more aggressive, but open to suggestion. Further proof that there was a mastermind behind the attacks.
Poor Mayor Lionheart went to pieces, dreading another Night Howler fiasco following so close on the heels of the first. He'd increased the police presence in the city by authorizing the use of cadets that were almost ready to graduate. They were paired up and set to guard the more populous areas. He'd also instituted a nine p.m curfew for the city.
As usual, she had a police escort home, even though she'd tried to refuse special treatment. Mayor Lionheart refused to back down from his decision, stating her rank and that she was the first Oracle in centuries as the reason. Since he had the full support of her husband and wives, Zoe was fighting a losing battle.
Zoe was still feeling upset about Gabriel. She'd thought that they had really been getting along before he started putting a wall between them. She still treated him as nice as possible, but it seemed like he'd be warming back up to her, then he'd turn cold again. This roller coaster ride was causing her stress level to multiply, and she didn't need that.
Zoe was leaning back in her chair with Faith at her breast, half asleep, when Judy came in, closed the door, and sat in the chair next to her. The nursery was almost empty of furniture or decorations now, having been packed away in preparation for their move. The only remaining furniture were the cribs along the walls and Gabriel's bed, currently unoccupied.
"You need to do something about Gabriel. You can't keep going on like this, all of us can see the toll that it's taking on you. It's been weeks since you've made love to any of us! You spend hours upon hours in the Temple Archives room and come home exhausted almost every night. So please, fix this rift between the two of you."
Zoe wasn't angry, but she wasn't happy either. "The rift isn't my fault, it's Gabriel's! When Aaron died and I became High Priestess, it was like he couldn't handle it."
"Love," Judy said, looking sad, "You may not have started it, but you are stubborn enough to keep it going. For the sake of all of us, talk to him and work this out."
Judy kissed her on her forehead, right on her new marking, and left, closing the door behind her again. Zoe sat there thinking about what her wife had said. When Faith was done feeding, Zoe burped her and put her in her crib. Picking up Grace, she sat back down and set her baby to her breast. A lot of what Judy had said was true, and that it seemed to be affecting her husband and wives was a cause for concern.
The image of their spot by the lake intruded in her mind and she developed a plan on the spot. Setting the now sleeping Grace into her crib, she went to the living room and sat next to Abby, easing her way into the conversation. Gabriel stared at her for about 30 seconds before getting up and going into his room with the babies.
"Abby? Could you watch the kits tomorrow morning? I'm going to try and fix this thing with Gabriel."
"About time Z! You two have been moping around for the past several weeks and it's bumming everyone out." Abby expressed in an exasperated tone of voice. "
Yeah Zoe. You haven't been yourself lately and it worries us." Nick told her.
Zoe had to admit that the body language her husband and wives had for the last couple of weeks would have told her if she'd have let herself notice. Nick with his tail trailing on the floor, her wives' ears only half erect, and the touches and caresses they shared were more comforting than erotic. Zoe lovingly gave each of them a kiss before speaking. "I'm sorry my Loves. With everything else that has happened to me in the last month I've neglected the thing that matters the most, family. So please forgive me. I do promise to try and make it up to you. I've decided to take a few days off and I'm using tomorrow to try and mend things with Gabriel. I'm thinking about a picnic lunch down at our place by our lake."
Judy and Abby grinned while Nick looked a little confused. "I've never been to this place by the lake. Why haven't you taken me there? Should I be jealous or something?" Nick didn't seem as upset as his words would indicate since he was smiling while he said them.
"Don't worry HH," Zoe said, smiling back at him, "We'll take you one day and have our wicked way with you there in the grass by the shoreline. Won't we girls?"
Abby and Judy were both grinning and then turned to leer at their husband with Zoe joining in a second later. Nick tried to look scared, but his tail was wagging for the first time in over a week and Zoe was pleased to note that her wives' ears were sticking up once more as well.
"Okay. I'm going to make the stuff for the picnic and then I'd like to spend an enjoyable evening at home with my loved ones. Besides, I need to tell you what I found in the Temple Archives earlier."
Now she had their interest and, at their insistence, told them while she made the stuff for the picnic. All of them seemed to get as excited as she had been at the news. Finally, something to go on! Zoe put the items she'd made in the refrigerator and set the picnic basket up with the non-perishable items.
"Now My Loves," Zoe said, giving each of them a significant look, "I think it's time for bed. Don't you?"
Their answering grins were answer enough as they finally understood what Zoe had meant by 'an enjoyable evening'. They adjourned to their bedroom where they shut the door and quickly divested themselves of their clothing. Their lovemaking that night was slow and loving instead of quick and rough, yet no less passionate. It was more of a re-connecting and renewal of their love and commitment to each other.
Gabriel lay in his bed, his heart sinking to his feet as he could hear the sounds of loving coming faintly through the wall. He kicked himself for making the huge mistake of alienating Zoe as he listened to what he could have had. At least he could still be with her and in her life, raising her and her wives' kits. He swore to treat them as his own so that, in some minor way, he could be emotionally close to her again.
Zoe woke early the next morning feeling more relaxed than she'd felt since Aaron died. She'd re-bonded with her husband and wives last night, repeatedly. She smiled at the memories and felt that only one thing was missing... Gabriel. She packed the picnic basket, laying ice packs over the items to keep them from going bad, as well as keeping the drinks cold.
She called Wendy and told her that she was taking a few days off to take care of some personal items that required her attention. Wendy promised that her and Dan could take care of things in her absence for a few days and to enjoy some well-deserved time off. Then she went back into the bedroom, now able to smell the heavy scent of sex in the room after having had some fresh air.
She woke up Abby by planting soft kisses all over her face and ears. When Abby sleepily smiled, Zoe kissed her on her lips, causing the albino doe to sigh happily when Zoe broke the kiss. Then Zoe kissed Judy and Nick who, while they didn't wake up, still smiled and sighed in contentment. Zoe knocked lightly on Gabriel's door with Abby standing right beside her. She'd done it lightly so as to not wake up any of the babies that might be sleeping. Gabriel answered the door already dressed and ready for the day since the little ones hadn't quite settled down to a schedule just yet.
"Abby's going to watch the kids today while you and I go and take care of some things." Zoe informed him.
While he was startled and seemed a little indecisive, he eventually nodded. Zoe took his paw in hers, kissed Abby goodbye, and grabbed the picnic basket on the way out the front door. Downstairs, both of them carefully scanned their surroundings on the way to Gabriel's car. He was able to act the part of a gentlemammal as he opened the door for her and helped her inside.
"Where are we going?" He asked timidly, afraid of saying the wrong thing. That Zoe was in regular clothes was heartening and he had to admit she was looking good in the white sundress she was wearing. That, and the picnic basket made him feel a little hopeful that he hadn't screwed things up irreparably.
"Head for Bunnyburrow." Zoe told him.
Gabriel turned on the car and headed down the street, taking the fastest route out of Zootopia heading for Bunnyburrow. He wasn't sure exactly what was going on, but it felt like a date. At least, he hoped so. He opened and closed his muzzle many times during the drive, wanting to express how sorry he was for what he'd done. He knew he'd broken her heart and it felt like a dagger had been thrust into his own when he saw how his words had affected her.
For Zoe, she tried to fill what would have been an otherwise awkward drive with conversation. She told him about everything that had happened to her since coming home after their first date and finding Aaron there waiting for her except for what happened in the Council Chamber. The things that occured there were considered private, between High Priests and Priestesses only. She kept her attention on the scenery, so didn't see the times he tried to say something, but couldn't, when she paused in her recitation.
They passed through downtown Tri-Burrows, Zoe starting to get excited to be going back to their spot without the impetus need to be there. Well, she had a need, but it was more emotional than spiritual at this point. She guided him to the turn off until they reached the end. Here he turned off the car and grabbed the picnic basket from Zoe before helping her out and down to the ground. Not letting go of his paw, Zoe pulled him to the hidden trail and guided him along.
Gabriel made no move to remove his paw from hers, his hopes climbing with each step. When they broke through the foliage and he saw the vista before him, he gasped in pleasure. The spot was perfect! A small green meadow with the lake in the background, trails leading off in different directions, even a moss covered boulder added rather than subtracted to the idyllic spot. And the scents! It smelled so clean! He had smelt the lingering scent of sex on Zoe even though he could tell she took a shower, his sense of smell being even better than Nicks. Tension he didn't know he had seemed to flow out his pores and sink into the ground around him.
Zoe was watching and saw the stress lines on his face dissolve, knowing how he felt. "I know, amazing isn't it?" She said.
Gabriel just looked at her in wonder and nodded. Still gripping his paw, she led him next to the boulder where she had him put the basket down.
"I brought you here to explain something important Gabriel. Here, my wife Judy asked me to be her girlfriend. I'd just awoken in their pumpkin patch the day before her and I met. We were just drawn to one another by what I like to call my 'Nudges'. They are promptings from either the gods or the fates, I haven't figured that out yet."
She pointed the spot in front of the boulder. "Here is the first place we made out. I'd never even kissed anyone before, but it just felt like it was meant to be."
She pointed to another spot. "There is where Judy asked me to marry her, and of course I accepted. And here... here is where I asked Abby to join Judy and I in our marriage."
Zoe swung her arm to encompass the entire area. "Here is where we three had our honeymoon. We hiked, swam, sunbathed, stargazed, and made love over and over again. This is the spot that I always thought we'd build a house and live. This is our spot, not even Nick has been here yet."
"Then why bring me here?" Gabriel asked.
"I wanted you to see where some of the happiest memories I have made come from. I want you to see that no matter what plans we have for ourselves, the gods may expect something more from us. Gabriel, I never wanted to be High Priestess, I didn't choose to be favored of the gods, nor did I choose to be this 'Chosen', I just wanted to be a simple priestess, wife, and mother. Maybe even a ZPD officer, but the gods called and I had to answer.
I know that part of our estrangement is my fault. Your putting a wall up between us hurt me more than anything I've ever felt before and I walled up my feelings and wouldn't listen to you. I don't know why you stepped back and I wondered where the mammal that had pinned me down in his front seat and gave me such a wonderful orgasm went to. A lot has happened since our first date and I'd like to try and mend this tear in our relationship if you'd like to. I'd like to consider this our second date and talk, get to know each other even better? Would you like that?" Zoe asked the last question with her heart in her eyes and her voice.
Gabriel swallowed thickly. He could fix this! He just had to make sure he didn't screw it up again. "Zoe, I've been kicking myself ever since I said those things. I didn't think that your position would affect me like it did, how overwhelming it felt, and I didn't take into account how everything would affect you. I've wanted to apologize and try to make amends for weeks now, but I didn't know how. I was stupid and had forgotten how easy you were to be with, you never treated me like I was inferior and I have no idea why I felt that way then. So, yes, I'd like to try again and make it up to you if you're willing."
Zoe grinned as her heart leapt for joy, she could have her love back! "Well," She said tilting her head to look at him sideways, feeling her tail twitching in happiness, "I know how you could start to make it up to me."
"How?" Gabriel asked.
Start of lime/lemon content
Zoe grabbed his shirt and pulled him down so that his muzzle was within an inch of hers and said, "You could kiss me My Love."
Zoe was unprepared for when Gabriel's muzzle latched onto hers, his tongue thrusting so deep she swore she could feel it hitting her stomach. Her paws wound around his neck as his grabbed the cheeks of her rear and pulled her tight against him. The pleasurable sounds they were both making were an erotic duet that went unheard in the clearing.
Zoe grunted a little when Gabriel pushed her back against the boulder and thrust his crotch against hers, causing the hem of her dress to bunch up around her waist. Zoe could feel his member through his pants rubbing hard against her center and love button and moaned, he felt so good! How long they made out for neither knew for certain, but the sun had noticeably changed position in the sky when Gabriel, finding a strength he didn't know he possessed, pulled away from Zoe.
Gabriel could smell her arousal all over him and looked down to discover that she was one of those mammals that didn't wear underwear. He could see that her juices had soaked his pants from all the orgasms he'd given her, Zoe crying out his name at each one, creating a huge wet spot right over where his sheath was.
"I love you Zoe!" Gabriel gasped out, trying to rein in his libido.
"I love you too Gabriel, please don't ever doubt that!" Zoe breathed. She was close to another orgasm, but knew that if they continued, she'd have no resistance to her coyote and she knew that neither had brought protection.
"Never again My Love. Thank you for giving me another chance."
Zoe stroked the fur on his muzzle and cheek, all her walls broken down. "I had to, I didn't want to give up on us."
"I'm so glad that you didn't!" Gabriel explained that he needed to 'take care' of his 'little problem' and started to head for the woods when Zoe stopped him.
"I want to watch." Zoe told him, her breathing and heart beat picking up the pace.
"Uh, are you sure?" Gabriel asked, a little uncertain still. In answer, Zoe took off her dress, standing before her future husband naked as the day she appeared in Zootopia. Gabriel's gaze locked onto her petite form and he dropped his pants without looking. He pleasured himself while drowning in the vision before him.
Zoe watched avidly, noticing that his member was a bit bigger than Nick, but not as much as she had expected. While watching his paw work, Zoe began to pleasure herself as well. Seeing that, Gabriel couldn't hold himself back any more and began to cum, screaming as he shot long, white ropes of semen through the air. Zoe moved without thought, standing directly in the streams, allowing it to cover her. Gabriel continued to shoot all over Zoe, even cumming again which had never happened to him before.
Zoe came, crying out, when she felt the first warm jet land on her, running from the inner side of her left ear and down over her shoulder and breast. The next one ran from her mark, across her left eye, and down her cheek. The third landed between her breasts, running down her stomach and over the heel of her palm as she furiously rubbed her clit. The rest splattered over her stomach, they too oozing down to her now still fingers.
Both mammals were panting as they fought to gain their breath, Gabriel feeling a sense of satisfaction seeing Zoe covered in his seed. Zoe reveled in the feeling of being coated, wondering what it would be like to have both her husbands do this. Gabriel watched as Zoe lifted her paw up and lick his cum as well as her juices off her paw. He groaned as is libido started climbing again.
End of Lime/Lemon
Zoe stopped, not wanting to tease him and suggested a swim in the lake to clean up. Gabriel readily agreed and they spent several hours swimming and playing in the water before climbing in to shore and laying together in the soft grass as the sun dried them. Gabriel and Zoe then spent the rest of the afternoon eating the food Zoe had brought, play fighting over the habanero beetle poppers that Zoe had developed a taste for while pregnant. Jalapeno hadn't been hot enough for her, but since they were too hot for her wives and Nick, she didn't normally make them.
As the sun dipped toward the horizon, they gathered the plates and such before finally getting dressed. Zoe clung to Gabriel as they walked back to his car, her insisting on sitting next to him on the way home, protected only by a lap belt. Zoe had successfully argued that, given the size of the car, that was the only way she was able to wear the belt anyway. The squeezes and kisses had absolutely nothing to do with her argument whatsoever. Gideon was elated the entire way back home. The rift was gone, Zoe was acting the same as she ever had.
Truth be told, it hadn't been Zoe that had changed, but Gabriel. He still kicked himself for the time apart from Zoe because of his own fears of inadequacy. It helped that Zoe kept flirting with him and using sexual innuendo's on the way home, talking about what a 'big' responsibility he had in helping his future husband and wives out with their children. What an 'enormous' task it was going to be moving to their new house. Since she was saying these things while she stroked his upper thigh, it had his engine revving at full speed once more.
Gabriel carried the empty picnic basket up the stairs to their apartment, his other paw occupied with Zoe's. They entered, talking happily, to find Nick, Judy, and Abby sitting on the couch, each holding at least one of the children. The look of relief on their faces when they saw how happy Gabriel and Zoe was with their still clasped paws.
"Thank the gods!" Nick sighed.
"Now that we've had our second date, I think it's time that Gabriel start dating another one of us. I vote for Judy next." Zoe said.
"Why not Abby?" Judy asked.
"No, I vote for Judy as well." Abby said.
"Nick, what do you think?" Zoe asked. Nick was looking kind of sick to his stomach and Zoe started to get worried that he might be jealous of having another male in their circle.
"Nick?" Abby asked, worried about the same thing. Nick started to say something, but quickly shut it again, looking away and at the floor.
"Nick? What's wrong?" Judy asked. All three doe's were worried about him. They loved him and thought that he'd been okay with adding Gabriel to their marriage. So his behavior was more than a little troubling. It was that familiar feeling again, being pulled back and having one of the gods take over.
"Nicholas Piberius Wilde! You will tell your wives and future husband your feelings!" The female voice was smooth like honey, layered over Zoe's own and it caressed their fur like silk. To those that hadn't experienced it, it was a revelation hearing a goddesses voice issue from Zoe's mouth. Zoe was shocked and surprised at what Aphrodite said through her, and her paws flew up and covered her mouth.
Zoe then looked at Gabriel, her countenance now worried and her heart in her eyes. She'd just healed the split between her and Gabriel and was worried that this newest display of power would renew that. Gabriel saw that and leaned down, enfolded her in his arms, and kissed her hard, just the way she liked. When the kiss ended, it left Zoe breathless and weak kneed.
"I take it that that was Aphrodite?" Abby asked once Zoe seemed to recover enough to be aware of where and when she was. She was really ready to see how devastating Gabriel's kisses were. Zoe nodded and then looked at Nick, who looked like a trapped mammal.
"Well husband? Aphrodite just commanded you to tell us your feelings. Is it so difficult to let your wives know how you feel?"
Taking a deep breath, Nick looked resigned as he said, "Yes, it is. I don't want you girls to think any different of me."
"Love, you're our husband and the father of our kits, there is nothing you could say to us that would make us think any different of you." Judy told him.
"Unless it's that you don't love us anymore." Abby added, citing an extreme case.
"It's not that, I couldn't ever stop loving my doe's."
Taking another deep breath, Nick took the plunge and spoke. "I was just wondering if Gabriel would be willing to date me."
The doe's looked at each other, their ears fully erect and quivering in surprise, then they looked at Nick, and at Gabriel before Abby and Zoe looked at each other and laughed.
"What?" Nick asked slightly offended. Laughing wasn't the response he had been expecting when he revealed his attraction to Gabriel.
"I'm sorry Love, it's just that Abby and I talked about Gabriel dating others and I, rather jokingly asked, 'even Nick?' and she joked back saying 'especially Nick'. Now this."
Nick was a little mollified with that explanation. But he didn't expect what happened next. Gabriel let go of Zoe's paw and approached him, his manner cool, not angry like Nick had worried about. Then Gabriel grabbed him and kissed him, driving his tongue deep into Nick's mouth when Nick gasped. Gabriel's tongue skillfully wrapped around Nicks as Nick belatedly responded, his arms going around Gabriel and holding him close.
The three doe's looked on, their jaws dropping at the spectacle before them. Their breath picked up and they looked at each other, pleased to have an unexpected dynamic added to their relationship. Their grins grew as the kiss lingered, Gabriel's paw sliding down to grab Nick's tail and squeezing firmly.
"Mmmpphhh!" Nick tried to blurt out, unable to while Gabriel's mouth was on his.
Both of them were breathing hard when they drew apart, Gabriel's paw still with a firm grip on Nick's tail. Zoe knew how wonderful Gabriel's kisses were.
"Damn, that was HOT!" Judy crowed.
"I've been wanting to do that since I saw you Nick. I was worried that if everyone here found out I was bi that you wouldn't want me around the kits, so I kept my muzzle shut."
Zoe walked up to them, grabbing both of them by the paw.
"I don't think that anyone here has to worry about that. I'm already thinking about all of the new ways we'll be able to pleasure each other in the bedroom." Then she kissed each of their paws and put their paws together before letting go. Nick's eyes widened at that thought, a little concerned now remembering the results of his and his wives foray into anal sex... and knotting. He gulped, but Gabriel simply kissed him chastely, telling him that when Nick was ready, he'd be very gentle.
It turned out that Gabriel's next date was actually with Nick. While still not common, same sex couples had been increasingly visible when it was discovered that the Mammal Inclusion Initiative included more provisions than simply allowing smaller mammals join the various services such as the ZPD and the ZFD.
Zoe and her wives enjoyed some bonding time between them and their kits. They had decided to swap off when feeding their kits since they had decided that their kits belonged to the entire family, not just to a specific mother. Zoe chuckled when Judy squawked as Aaron bit down on her nipple while feeding.
"I did warn you Baby!" Zoe reminded her.
"I know, I just forgot." Judy admitted.
"Don't you wish that males could nurse?" Abby postulated.
"I'd predict a drastic decrease in the number of births within a year of that happening. And Judy? 'A watermelon out of your ass'?" Zoe laughed.
Abby laughed at that as well, agreeing with both statements.
Gabriel and Nick enjoyed their date, eating at a carnivore exclusive restaurant and then touring the Canal District. They talked about how they both realized they were bi, both becoming aware of their attraction to the same sex in their teen years. Gabriel told of his experience in college with his roommate, another coyote, who happened to be gay. Nick was a bit relieved know that when he was ready, he would have someone who was experienced with it. Nick knew what it was like to be the giver, which felt amazing, but also wondered if it would be different with another male.
Zoe and her wives heard them coming up the stairs, their ears swiveling toward the door. Their grins were identical as they heard the sounds of the two making out against the door, mutual sounds of pleasure seeping through to their ears.
"I can't wait to kiss Gabriel." Judy sighed.
"Me either!" Abby agreed.
The doe's grins widened when the two males walked into the apartment, their clothing wrinkled and their fur mussed. Even though he was invited to spend the night with them, Gabriel declined, stating that it was too early for that step. That didn't stop his wives from beginning anal play with Nick, Judy holding his tail up while Zoe rubbed lube over his back opening and fingering him while Abby went down on him. Gabriel heard Nick roar, but just figured it was great sex that he was missing out on.
The next day Nick and Judy had duty again. Zoe was called out to another site, this time in Savanna Central near Mole Harbor. Zoe pulled up next to the yellow tape stretched across the dock. A line of cadets were holding the crowd of onlookers and reporters back. While they shouted questions at Zoe, they didn't crowd her. Standing on the other side of the tape were a few officers, including Officer Wolford. Walking up to the canine officer, Zoe stuck her paw out to shake his.
"Officer Wolford, I'd like to thank you and your partner for what you did, saving my life and the lives of my kits."
Officer Wolford smiled, grasped her paw and brought it to his muzzle before kissing it and saying, "It was my duty, but also my pleasure and honor to help you Priestess."
"Charmer!" Zoe said, grinning. She didn't have much else to grin about when she reached the scene. Another dead mammal, this one almost totally eaten, which was unusual as it was a giraffe.
"Thomas Edgarton, 38, Dock Supervisor, found this morning when the oncoming shift arrived. Time of death approximately 0100. Preliminary autopsy shows that he'd been killed by a blunt object to the cranium. The victims flesh was gnawed more than ripped by claws, labs aren't back yet so further deductions have to wait." Officer Anderson said, the poor polar bear having to tilt his head way down to be able to see Zoe and talk to her.
Zoe could feel no presence of a spirit so she let Officer Anderson know that. As she walked around where the body was, Zoe felt sorrow. Where she would have felt nauseous and ready to hurl when the first of the Cannibal Killers began, she now felt a resolve building withing her as she checked out each scene.
"May Melinoe guide your spirit swiftly to the afterlife Thomas." Zoe muttered. Then she noticed a piece of cloth stuck to the bottom of one hoof. She called Officer Anderson over and pointed it out.
"How could we have missed that?" He wondered.
"I'm built closer to the ground than you are, it's more at my eye level."
He radio'd in the find and Zoe received permission to touch the piece to see if she could read anything from it after it had been photographed. Zoe suggested one better, have them record her as she touched it. The images swam into her head. A mammal with black and white stripped short fur, a sense of speed. Turning frightened eyes to Officer Anderson, she said the words that could send panic throughout Zootopia.
"It was a Zebra."
Officer Anderson's eyes widened at the implication, an herbivore... eating another mammal. Now every species was suspect.
"Oh gods." Anderson whispered, Zoe could only nod.
A/N: I intended the scene with Aphrodite heavily encouraging Nick to come out to his family to be a little humorous, hence the 'oh my gods did I just say that' expression from Zoe. Yes, I intended for Nick and Gabriel to get together in 'that way' when I decided to add another male into the mix, I never had any intention of making this into a harem story. Will there be others? I don't know, but it kind of feels like there will.
As for the scroll, it's actually Irish Gaelic, I just wanted to use it to give the story a little flavor. As much as I wish I could speak it, I can't so I had to use Google translate so please, no flaming me over it. Hope everyone enjoyed the chapter.
Be warned, tragedy strikes home in the next chapter.
Update: I've recently changed jobs so I may not have as much time to write as I used to, but this fic will not be abandoned!
