Votefic. UVR Spinoff. Cross-Pasted On ArchiveOfOurOwn. After at least a decade when the second tournament was unfortunately been cancelled, the Battle of the Luminaries is finally back with its largest roster yet. Who will win? YOU DECIDE! Also, I WILL NOT TAKE MYSTERY FIGHTER REQUESTS!

22. Section Nine Results

(The Arena)

Due to Bowser's choice of turning the arena into his board from Mario Party 7 aka one of his many lava-based levels, the atmosphere was literally more hotter than usual. …Except for one particular which somehow manages to be COLD.

On Hopscotch Island, Lilly swung her cudgel staff, sending a wave of cold air forward. However, Oume Goketsuji just smirked before jumping up while somehow enlarging her head with a flaming aura around it, negative the projectile. However, Lilly punished Oume for her mistake and extended her three-section staff and sent it into Oume's chest, resulting in an explosion of ice.

Oume was sent flying back before crashing on her back. Lilly ran over and jumped up to swing her staff downward. However, Oume snapped out of daze and managed to catch Lilly's staff before it could hit her. But the cryomancer just swung her staff around, using Oume's small stature to throw the ageing woman towards the side. However, Oume quickly self-righted herself and landed on the ground.

Oume then alternately sent out her palm, sending out a series of green energy balls forward. However, Lilly spun her staff around, managing to deflect all of the projectile. The blonde just scoffed, looking more annoyed.

"Tell me why! Why did you kidnap my brother and have him attack me?" Lilly demanded.

"Oh, wouldn't YOU like to know?" Oume sneered, putting her hands behind her back.

"Yes, I would. AND I also want to know what you want with Dan Hibiki and Pichu." Lilly demanded.

"...You are kidding right?" Oume laughed. "What possible gain do I have by kidnapping and brainwashing the embodiment of fighting game joke characters and a baby Pokemon?"

"So you wouldn't answer, huh?" Lilly asked. "Well, I just have to beat it out of you."

On MechaBowser Island, Doctrine Dark sent out his trick wire at "Terry Bogard". However, the red-clad man quickly raised his fist to have it go around his wrist. The two then got into a tug-of-war, trying to pull the other towards each other. Then, in a spiralling glowing wind, Zelda appeared behind D. Dark and kicked him in the back, sending him flying towards "Terry". The mysterious man smirked before crouching down.

"Rising Tackle!" "Terry" shouted, doing an upside-down rising drill kick, striking D. Dark multiple times. When the attack ended, D. Dark was sent crashing to the ground. "Terry" gracefully landed on the ground as well and was about to kick his opponent while he was down. However, D. Dark spun himself around, sweep-kicking "Terry" off his feet. D. Dark was about to return the favour.

Then, he noticed something from the corner of his eye. Acting quickly, he jumped to the side to avoid a red ball of light before it exploded. The attack wasn't that big, but D. Dark knew that Zelda's Din Fire would hurt a lot. He just scuffed before glaring between his two attackers.

"So you think you are both pretty skilled, huh?" D. Dark snarked. "Looks like I will have to kick it up a notch."

"Do as you wish. I will not submit to you." Zelda boasted. "I have to deal with the King of Evil on a regular basis."

"Yeah, that's right!" "Terry" nodded, punching his fist. "You're just an edgelord!"

"Tch. You are free to call you that. I am personally glad that I am the Lord of stabbing Edges into people." D. Dark scoffed. "Okay, I KNOW who this is now. However, I need to force him into losing his identity."

(Announcer's Booth)

"So yeah, that is the basics. Think you could remember all of that?" Drake asked.

"...I guess. But don't expect me to forget a rule or two and you are forced to remind me." Nine said with a bored look.

Drake's smile vanished. "Aw, come on!"

"Um, may I remind you that you are my PRISONER? You are in no position to bark orders at me!" Nine retorted, narrowing her eyes.

"I mean… Fair, but the show must go on." Drake scolded.

Nine looked on in disbelief "And you WONDER why I don't trust you idiots! Even the research team seems incompetent!"

Drake narrowed his eyes. "Hey, leave the node research team out of it!"

"Oh? If there is not incompetent, then why did the feed currently cut out earlier?" Nine challenged.

"I'm… Not sure." Drake frowned. "Sure, it is a simple mistake, but something like that has never happened before."

"Yes, I want to say that it was because of the temporary studio after Slappy Squirrel blew up Carver's house after she found out that Tybalt was a Bonkers fan-character, but it has been a bit since then so it isn't that." Ashley explained.

Nine just looked at Ashley while blinking twice.

"...It is a good thing I only care about getting Celica back, I would have foolishly asked for the context and immediately regretted it." She muttered. She then growled. "Speaking of which…"

"I know, I know! Just remember we have to do that while overlooking the tournament AND hearing from updates from time to time." Drake scolded.

Suddenly, his phone rang.

"Ugh, I think I jinxed it." Drake said, rolling his eyes. "Ashley, show her what I learned so much about Celica's node-hopping."

"Oh, sure, give ME the hard part." The purple-haired man muttered. He then sighed before looking at Nine. "Alright, give me a second."

With that, Ashley showed an impatient Nine what he had written down. Drake nodded his head before answering his phone.

"Hello? Oh yeah, Carmelita, what's up?" Drake asked.

Then, his eyes bugged out in horror.

"What!?" Drake exclaimed, getting Ashley and Nine's attention. "Uh-huh, uh-huh… I see. Alright, I… Will keep an eye. If you are right, I will have the Millennium Star come in. Okay, stay on it. Later."

The moment he hung up his phone, he immediately slumped in his chair. Ashley frowned at this.

"Oh no, what is it THIS time?" Ashley asked, slapping his forehead.

"I… Think I may have found out the reason behind the random feed cut." Drake groaned.

(Dome; Hallway)

Both Whip and Kula's teams decided to regroup with each other. Or rather, Kula got bored and whined to Whip to go see them. Regardless, they all realised no villains were coming and thought it was better to meet up with each other and compare notes.

"Um, Whip, don't take this the wrong way, but did you read Bison's blueprints correctly?" Rimururu frowned.

"I was thinking the same thing, Rimururu and turned the thing upside-down!" The Ikari Warrior insisted. "But nothing!"

"Well, Bison is still in the arena so maybe they didn't do the plan yet because he is not there." Kula offered.

"But the blueprints didn't say anything about Bison being there at all!" Whip frowned.

"Ugh, I KNOW we are missing something and it is on the tip of our tongues, but I don't know what is wrong." Claude groaned.

"And something tells me that the others will not be giving back any info." Isla muttered.

The six let out a collective sigh. Suddenly, they all heard noises. They all looked up and turned their heads.

To see Jude Mathis and Blissey wheeling a stretcher bed with worried looks on their faces. As they passed them, the six blinked twice.

"...Well, that's not a good sign." Claude piped up.

"Come on. It is a shot in the dark, but maybe we will find out what we are looking for." Hibiki offered.

The others nodded before running after the two medics. It didn't take them long to reach their destination. The security team (minus Naesala for some reason) along with a few fighters and audience members were there. All of them looked horrified and worried for some reason. Kula blinked twice while the others looked concerned.

"The medical team. The security team. What do you think happened?" Kula asked.

"I… Don't know. But I am going on ahead." Whip offered. "The rest of you stay back. It is crowded enough as it is."

The others nodded as Whip walked over to the crowd and took a peek. Her eyes widened in horror when she saw Jude and Blissey helping the dead body of Terry onto the stretching with the Scimitar still piercing him through the back.

"Is that…" Whip gasped.

"Terry? Oh, I really wish that wasn't the case, but it is."

Whip raised an eyebrow before turning her head. She then looked horrified when she saw Rock Howard looking down with his hair covering his eyes.

"They asked me to help ID him and indeed. It is him." Rock said.

"Rock…" Whip said, sympathetically.

Jude then looked up at the others.

"Don't worry, we should be able to revive him with a good number of Phoenix Downs. But he will be out for the entire night." He frowned.

"So that's it! Some imposter gets to have Terry's time in the tournament while he is in a coma for the night!" Rock roared, glaring up.

"I am sorry, but you are asking the wrong person." Jude apologised. He then got ready to put a white sheet over the body. "Now if you excuse…"

"WAIT!"

Everyone jumped before turning to see Crunch Bandicoot rushing forward.

"Forgive me for disrespecting the dead, but can I take a closer look at his body?" Crunch asked.

"Um, okay, but only if it takes a moment." Jude said. "Like I said, we are able to revive him. But the sooner we dilly-dally, the longer the effects of the Phoenix Downs will take."

Crunch nodded his head before walking over to the body. He then started to examine it a few times before stepping back, shaking his head in disgust.

"I knew it…" Crunch muttered.

"K-Knew what?" Carmelita asked.

"This Scimitar… Belongs to the Komodo Brothers." Crunch said, looking at everyone sternly.

Everyone, especially Whip, Athena, Horkeukamui and Pepper's eyes widened in horror at this.

"A-Are you sure?" May asked.

"...They are my nodal companions. I recognise those swords anywhere." Crunch reminded, crossing his arms.

"BUT WHY?" ROB asked.

"I do not know. And unfortunately, unless we discover anything else, I am afraid we will have our hands full." Jude said. He then turned to Crunch. "Sorry, but can we…"

"Oh, right. Sorry." The bandicoot apologised before stepping back.

Jude nodded before putting the sheet over Terry's body before wheeling it away while everyone looked in concern. Rock frowned before getting out his phone and calling a number.

"I am calling Mary and telling her what happened." Rock said. "She… Would like to know."

With that, the blond man followed Jude and Blissey with everyone feeling sorry for him.

"That poor boy…" Elisabeth Blanctorche frowned.

"Yeah. But if THAT'S the real Terry, then who is the one in the arena?" Obelix asked.

"Don't worry, Carmelita already informed the hosts and asked them to keep an eye on the imposter." Gabe reassured.

Yukari Takeba blinked twice. "AFTER he asked a short-tempered powerful arch-mage who believes he is responsible for the disappearance of his sister to be a THIRD HOST?"

Gabe winced. "Um, that's…"

"...I admit that I question Drake's IQ points as well. But I don't think he will mess around on something like this." Carmelita sighed before narrowing her eyes. "For now, we should try to find out why one of the Komodo Brothers killed Terry."

"Umm…"

Everyone turned to see Wario nervously poking his fingers together.

"Ugh, what is it, Wario?" Carmelita asked, rolling her eyes.

"Well, I don't know-a how this relates to the Komodo Brothers OR Terry's imposter, but-a there are traces of garlic." The yellow-and-purple-clad man explained.

"H-H-Huh?" Pepper asked. "Garlic?"

"Oh, that's right!" Wave realised with wide eyes. "That is how we found Terry's body in the first place!"

"Um, if what you are saying is the truth, then I don't know how helpful this will be, but I will put it out, anyway." Elisabeth piped up as everyone's eyes turned to her. "Terry has been acting quite uncomfortable for most of his time in our locker room."

Gabe raised an eyebrow. "Really?"

"Yes. It was after news of the garlic attack reached us." Elisabeth explained. "Most of us just waved it off because it IS a disturbing thing to hear about, but still. It usually takes Terry a lot more for him to get uneasy like that."

Carmelita paused before turning towards Wario with a stern glare. "...Wario, I swear if you are lying."

"I am-a not! I know I revel in being-a the anti-role model, but I would NEVER lie in a situation like that!" The greedy man insisted.

"Again, like Wave said, it is Wario's nose that was the reason we found the body. If Wario says that there is garlic on Terry, there is garlic on him." Gabe reassured.

"...I think we should pay a certain hybrid another visit." Wave offered.

"For once, I agree with you, Wave." Carmelita nodded. She then looked at her team. "Let's go back and regroup with Naesala in our room."

"H-Huh?" Athena jumped. "Um, right."

Carmelita frowned. "Look, I know that you are a little shaken right now, but this is the worst possible time to flake out. Shouldn't you be used to it by now?"

Athena glared at Carmelita. "Just because it happened a lot, that doesn't mean I have to like it."

"Never said you have to." The Interpol agent shrugged. "Even then, not only do we have a job to do, but it is not like he will be dead forever."

Athena paused. "True…"

"Good. Then, let's go." Carmelita nodded.

With that, the security team (and Wave's investigation team) walked off with everyone watching them in worry.

"It isn't the death so much of the innocent party I have to defend." Athena frowned.

Whip paused before making her way to her group. All of them looked concerned.

"Seirah, I am confused…" Kula frowned.

"So am I. I know we said that we should stop Bison, but if what they say is correct…" Whip said, solemnly. "Otane's group is more dangerous than we thought."

(The Arena)

On Podoboo Island, Pinocchio yelped as the dog of Duck Hunt bit onto his leg with the duck pecking at his forehead like he was a woodpecker. However, this just annoyed Pinocchio as he punched the dog in the face with his boxing, knocking him on his face. However, this left him wide open for the duck to do a kick to Pinocchio's face. However, being a puppet, he didn't feel any pain and punched his fist out.

However, the duck flew over the punch, easily dodging it. By this time, a non-lethal bullet found its way in Pinocchio's forehead, knocking him onto his back. The culprit was an 8-bit Western outlaw holding a gun. Behind said gunman, the dog did his trademark laugh (causing a huge mixed reaction). Pinocchio got up, only to stagger to the side after being kicked in the face with the duck.

Pinocchio growled, deciding that he had enough and jumped into the air to zoom forward into the duck. The latter wasn't expecting this and knocked out of the air. The dog gasped as his partner was hurt before growling kicking a can. Then, an invisible sniper shot said can a few times, causing it go further towards Pinocchio, looking like it would explode.

However, the wooden boy smirked before running forward and engulfing himself in a blue barrier. This sent the can straight back at the dog who was too stunned to move.

"What? Have you forgotten that we could DEFLECT projectiles?" Pinocchio taunted. The duck growled before diving at Pinocchio. At first, the puppet was taken off-guard but he jumped into the air to avoid the next dive. The duck turned around to dive at Pinoccio again, but the puppet dove at him, causing the two to crash. However, Pinocchio was understandingly able to recover and grabbed him before punching the duck in the face.

The dog growled before running over and sending a clay pigeon forward. However, Pinocchio saw it coming and jumped up to zoom out of the way. He then did a downward punch towards the dog. The latter yelped before running out of the way and towards his partner as he was recovering.

"Okay, how is this guy annoying to fight against!?" The dog roared. "He is at the biggest disadvantage due to this arena change!"

"He is made out of wood, not ice, you idiot! It is only if he falls into the lava where he is in trouble!" The duck scolded. "Besides, who are you to call out on being annoying!?"

"Y-Yeah, you're right. I am the Duck Hunt Dog. My mere laugh is enough to send the most chill gamers into a biassed rage." The dog realised, narrowing his eyes. "I should be able to outannoy him."

"...That wasn't a compliment but if you are able to get us out of this mess." The duck muttered.

Pinocchio then ran forward and jumped up before doing another downward punch, but the dog ran out of harm's way. But Pinocchio recovered and did another jumping downward punch. This time, the attack was a success as the dog was sent sprawling to the ground with the duck, following him. Pinocchio then ran over to continue the assault.

However, the dog got up and threw another clay pigeon forward. Pinocchio just smirked before accepting his barrier and sending it back at the Duck Hunt Duo. However, the dog summoned a Gunman and had him fire a bullet at the clay pigeon. The dog then kicked a can at Pinocchio The puppet just got ready to deflect it again with his barrier, sending it back at the dog who ran out of the way.

"Hah! Poor you. We Shrek fighters may not be as expert at dealing with projectiles as Nicktoons, but we could still…" Pinocchio roared before noticing something. "Um, where is your duck friend?"

As if to answer his question, the duck flew down and picked up Pinocchio, using the dog's projectiles as a distraction before flying towards the ropes with the dog running after them. However, Pinocchio quickly thrashed in the duck's grasp, making him drop him. However, the dog then got into a pointer position. This made three crosshairs appear where Pinocchio was falling. Followed were three shots striking Pinocchio and sending him flying over the ropes. After that, the dog did his trademark laugh.

Pinocchio landed in a forest before grumping dusting himself off of the ground.

"Ugh, I could kinda see Luna being the first elimination seeing that she only has been in Super Slam, but I was in Shrek from Day One!" Pinocchio muttered before sighing. "Eh, at least I am away from that accused stage and the worse is over."

Then, he heard the sound of lip smacking behind him. Turning around, he saw Norbert and Daggett walking towards him, looking like starving zombies. Pinocchio blinked twice before slumping his arms.

"...Okay, which nun did I tick off before entering the tournament?" Pinocchio groaned before running off with the Angry Beavers giving chase.

On Hopscotch Island, Kasumi Todoh covered her head in pain after a loud noise entered her ears. I-No then swung her guitar into Kasumi's head and sent her flying into an item shop (which was closed because there wasn't any way to earn coins). The blue-haired woman groaned before looking up. Her eyes then bugged out when she saw I-No spiralling towards her.

Kasumi dove to the side to avoid being crashed into the item shop. Acting quickly, she got up and swung her hands downwards, sending streaks of energy forward. However, I-No recovered from his own attack and raised her guitar to block the attack. The witch then hovered up and played her guitar, not only making another loud noise, but also making a horizontal line of musical energy.

Kasumi took the attack to the chest, causing her to stagger forward. Then, I-No's witch's mouth opened up and sent out an energy music note forward. However, Kasumi saw the attack coming and sent more energy streaks to negate them. I-No then did a hovering dash forward and swung her guitar at Kasumi. However, the Todohryu heir held up her hands and managed to catch the instrument.

Kasumi then sent I-No flipping back with a counter throw, but the guitarist self-righted herself in mid-air and landed on the ground. Just in time to block a series of palm strikes and kicks with their guitar. Soon, I-No found an opening and kicked Kasumi in the stomach, sending her staggering back. Kasumi recovered to glare at the guilty party.

"It is going to take a lot more than that to take me down!" Kasumi boasted. "Especially since you kidnapped one of my nodal companions! Speaking of, why did you do it? Is this revenge for the Kanes interrupting your plans at the second Megamix Tournament?"

"Revenge? Hm, no." I-No mused, rubbing her chin with her free. She then smirked. "But as long as we are here, might as well, right?"

Kasumi growled. "What is with you villains and doing these accursed kidnapping plots? They never turn well!"

"I admit that they are a little cliche nowadays." I-No chuckled. "That is why we are going big or going home."

"I'll make you go home, alright!" Kasumi snapped.

With that, she sent her palm, but I-No quickly raised her guitar to block it. The witch then summoned a microphone out of the ground to try to strike Kasumi in the chin. However, the blue-haired woman saw the attack coming and swerved her head to the side to avoid it. Her eyes widened in horror when she saw that the microphone was actually connected to a mace.

I-No's smirk grew as she kicked the mace end of the microphone. Acting quickly, Kasumi rolled to the side, but the last-minute dodge made her not recover in time for I-No to strum her guitar hard and sent Kasumi flying back until she landed one of the six platforms of Hopscotch Island. Todohryu groaned before the platform started to shake. Fortunately, nothing happened.

I-No saw her chance and did her hover dash and landed on the stone pillar which was the only 100% safe platform to stay on. I-No then sprouted wings along with floating amps. Kasumi's eyes widened in realisation when she saw what I-No was doing. The guitarist that played a solo, sending a barrage of energy projectiles. Acting quickly, she dove off of the platform and grabbed onto it with her hands to avoid the barrage.

Despite seeing her super miss, I-No just scoffed before jumping over and landing on a platform next to the one that Kasumi was on. As her platform shook, I-No didn't mind as she pulled her guitar back to slam it on top of Kasumi's hands.

…Imagine her surprise when her platform slowly descended into the lava. Acting quickly, she leapt onto the next platform before she could fall into it. Kasumi then acted quickly, getting up and sending some energy streak at I-No, striking her and knocking her into the lava.

SIZZLE.

"YOWWWWWWWWCH!"

I-No flew into the air while holding her rear and screaming at the top of her lungs. At first, Kasumi was stunned by this, but then she realised her chance.

"CHO KASATE ATE!" Kasumi yelled, pulling her arms back.

She then sent out powered-up energy streaks just as I-No fell downward near her. The attack struck her, sending her flying away and over the ropes. Kasumi gave a sigh of relief.

I-No landed in Brutal Legend where she got into a fight with Eddie Riggs and lost.

"Should I be relieved that this lava is actually just Mario lava and not the realistic kind?" Kasumi sighed. "Oh well. So much for interrogating her. At least there is still one more person to go after."

With that, she jumped to safety to go over to help Lilly with Oume. The latter noticed this and frowned.

"Aw, come on! It is one thing to suck, but in front of Bison!?" Oume groaned.

"Sucks to be you. And I am going to make you look more of a fool." Lilly spat, beating her staff into her palm.

Oume growled. "I never thought I would use my trump card this early, but you left me no choice."

With that, she… Ran off.

"H-Hey! Get back here!" Lilly roared as she and Kasumi gave chase.

Meanwhile, Bison drunkenly stumbled back to avoid an arrow from Mina. He smirked before he was about to counter-attack.

Then, a blur jumped at him and knocked him down. He ended up being held by Oume.

"Y-Y-Y-Y-You! What are you doing!?" Bison demanded.

"Showing that I still got it!" Oume smirked.

With that, she grabbed Bison's face and… Locked lips with him. Needless to say, everyone reacted with disgust.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

Not helping was a loud, angry shriek that could be heard through the dome, making everyone cover their ears in pain. Oume then finished passionately kissing the stunned dictator. Then, Oume was engulfed in a white light. When the light cleared, she was now a normal-sized dark-haired beautiful woman. She smirked as she held onto Bison.

"Thanks for the boost! Now watch your future wife tear up the competition!" Oume winked.

With that, she had Bison stand up straight before turning around and running off towards a stunned Lilly and Kasumi. Bison blinked three times. He then slowly made his way towards the Pyro.

"...Eliminate me." Bison said.

"Mm?" Pyro asked, confused.

Bison then grabbed onto Pyro's bodysuit and shook him violently. "GET ME OUT OF THE RING NOW!"

The Pyro let out a muffled yelp before aiming his flamethrower at Bison. However, instead of spitting out flames, it spat out air which sent Bison flying backwards and out of the ring.

Bison landed in some kind of apartment at night. He groaned before sitting up.

"Bison?"

The red-clad man's eyes widened before turning his head to see Wreck-it Ralph, Vanellope von Schweetz, Fix-It Felix Jr and Sergeant Tamora Jean Calhoun sitting on a sofa, watching TV before giving him strange looks.

Bison's eyes lit up before standing up. "Ha ha! I see you are watching the tournament! Surely, you saw my impressive run in the arena! I made those pitiful fighters!"

Ralph blinked twice.

"To those with Ralph, be grateful that you are his friends because I would cause the same terror onto you that I did to the others!"

Vanellope, Felix and Calhoun looked at each other, not knowing what to say. Ralph then walked over to Bison with a blank look on his face.

…And hugged him. At first, Bison was stunned by this. Then, his eyes started to water.

"I used to be someone, Ralph! I should be THE Big Bad at these tournaments!" Bison sobbed. "I even had this plan that even impressed GANONDORF! But those old hags ruined everything! And…. And… WWWWWAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"There, there… Let it all out…" Ralph reassured, rubbing Bison's back.

Back in the arena, TJ Combo and ARIA looked at the whole thing with wide eyes.

"What… The fuck… Was THAT!?" Combo exclaimed.

"THE GOKETSUJI SISTERS ARE FIGHTING FOR BISON'S AFFECTION." ARIA explained. "THOUGH DON'T TELL OTANE THIS, BUT I, ALONG WITH THE REST OF HER TEAM DON'T THINK EITHER ONE WILL BE ABLE TO SUCCEED. AND I DOUBT OUME'S TEAM FEELS DIFFERENTLY.

Combo looked at ARIA in disbelief. "So I got my balls hit with a frozen staff because of a couple of simps!?"

"WHILE YOUR WORDS ARE NEEDLESSLY VULGAR AS EVER, I MUST CONFESS THAT THERE IS NO INACCURACY DETECTED IN YOUR WORDS." ARIA sighed. "THOUGH AGAIN, LILLY WARNED YOU TO RETREAT FROM ME AND WHILE SHE OVERREACTED, YOU STILL SHOULD HAVE LISTENED."

Combo growled. "Shut up, you condescending hunk of junk!"

With that, he punched his fist out, forcing ARIA to block with her wrist. Normally, this would just hit Combo's fist, but not only did the MMA fighter merely retreat his fist without pain, but continued the assault. ARIA raised her arms to block the assault and while guarding, she silently commanded her Base Drone to go behind Combo and shoot a projectile.

However, Combo fought ARIA a few times to see it coming and jumped backwards to let the projectile hit ARIA instead. But the robot also saw this coming and merely blocked it. She then sent out her Booster Drone at Combo, but the dark-skinned man easily jumped to the side. ARIA then ran forward while using her blade arm of the Blade Form to swing it.

Combo ducked underneath the slash and did a powerful blow to ARIA's torso. It was actually more than enough to see the gold-plated machine flying back and with Combo rushing towards her. ARIA managed to recover and raised her non-blade arm to block Combo's incoming knee strike. ARIA then swung her blade at Combo, slashing him in the chest.

Combo staggered back, holding his chest. ARIA ran over to capitalise on this, but Combo recovered and not only jumped over the attack, but also grabbed ARIA by the leg before lifting her up and slamming on the ground. Combo then climbed onto the android and proceeded to punch her face in. ARIA merely kicked her out into Combo's chest, knocking him off of her.. ARIA then got up and jumped back, but Combo ran towards her.

Only for ARIA to suddenly lose her balance, causing Combo to soar over her and crash into a certain machine. Meanwhile, ARIA found herself struggling as she was floating in mid-air. She then looked down to find herself being held by someone that looks like Bowser Jr. without a bib and had a different hairstyle. She also noticed that they were on a Happening Space.

"You can blast off to another island with the amazing Bowser Cannon 4000!" The Mini-Bowser cheered. "Don't worry overmuch about it! Just jump in and have a good flight!"

ARIA paused. "OH NO…"

The top of the Bowser cannon opened up, allowing the Mini-Bowser to throw her into it. Before ARIA could do anything, the cannon turned and aimed towards Mecha-Bowser island. By the time, Combo finally snapped out of his daze, it then fired towards.

Yurika Kirishima looked up from her fight and gasped. "Look out!"

Princess Peach Toadstool turned her head and her eyes widened when she saw ARIA flying towards them. "TOAD!"

"On it, Princess!" The retainer shouted, jumping in front of the two women.

The moment the airborne ARIA flew into Toad, the latter released a giant cloud of spores which struck ARIA multiple times and sent her flying away and over the ropes.

ARIA landed in the factory levels of Pacman World. Unfortunately, she landed right underneath a magnet robot and ended up spending the next ten minutes being carried around, unable to do anything.

Combo looked at the whole thing with wide eyes. He then growled and gritted his teeth before getting up and running towards the central stone platform in a blind rage (Though he still had enough sense to stay away from the fight between Ryu and Dot Warner). He then sprinted towards Mecha-Bowser Island.

"Alright, I wanted to personally have my revenge against ARIA and it is ruined!" Combo roared, getting everyone's attention. "For your sake, you better have a lot of 1-Up Mushrooms on ya!"

Peach frowned. "I am sorry that we took away your opponent, but what do you expect us to do? Just let her charge into us?"

"Not you!" Combo scolded before pointing to another fighter. "YOU!"

Bowser raised an eyebrow with a smirk. "Oh?"

"It is those stupid cannons! They completely interrupted the flow of our fight because we have to watch where we fight, otherwise we would step on a Happening Space!" Combo roared.

Bowser smugly crossed his arms. "Welcome to Bowser Party!"

Combo's eyebrow twitched before stomping over. "Oh, that is it!"

Tytree Crowe's eyes lit up. "Yeah! Let's teach this guy a lesson about risking everyone's lives and…"

That was when Combo punched Tytree in the face, startling Bowser (and the other patrons on the island).

"Yeah, fuck off…" Combo spat.

Tytree staggered back, holding his chin. "What the hell was THAT for!?"

"My fight has been spoiled by this stupid stage change and now I want to take out my anger on him!" Combo roared.

"Well, I was fighting him BECAUSE of the stupid stage!" Tytree snapped. "We are on the same side! Why are you treating me like I am your enemy!"

"Because I don't want anyone else to kill-steal!" Combo scolded.

"How selfish can you get!?" Tytree asked in disbelief. "Doesn't it make anyone feel better if Bowser wasn't in the arena, regardless of who eliminated him!"

The two then started to get into an argument. Bowser just watches with a blank face and crossed arms.

"...Loving this?" Peach asked with an exasperated face.

"Quite." Bowser nodded.

Soon, Combo and Tytree glared at Bowser and said the same thing in unison. "Stay here!"

Bowser shrugged and held his hands as if to confirm that he would oblige the two's requests. Combo and Tytree then turned their attention to each other. The two then swung their fists at each other, resulting in both punches clashing with each other before they both jumped back before lunging at each other, punches and kicks, managing to parry their opponent's attacks. Soon, Combo managed to punch Tytree in the chest, making him fly back.

"Juhousen!" Tytree shouted, aiming one of his fists like a gun at the ground in front of him. Then, a wristed crossbow appeared on his gauntlet and let an energy shot at the ground, which travelled across the around as if it was a ground wave. Combo was not quick enough (or too stunned) to dodge and took the attack before taking it to his feet and crashing on the ground.

Tytree then ran over to the downed Combo and jumped up before doing an axe kick on top of Combo's back. The dark-skinned man cried out in pain, but Tytree wasn't done yet as he kicked Combo onto his back before crouching down and proceeded to punch Combo's face in. While the first three punches were a success, Combo's MMA experience quickly made him block the rest.

Combo then put his foot on top of Tytree's chest during the herbomancer's assault and threw him over him. Combo then turned around and pounced onto Tytree to return the favour. The green-haired man raised his arms to block the barrage of punches, but Combo then put his arms onto Tytree and hoisted himself up and struck his opponent with both of his knees.

Tytree's eyes widened as the wind got knocked out of him before Combo proceeded to punch his face. Tytree grunted in pain.

"Gouretsu Rengadan!" Tytree shouted, shoving his palms upwards. This created a cone of energy around his arms, striking Combo multiple times and launching him in the air.

"Hiren Zankuukyaku!" Tytree yelled, jumping up in the air and doing a series of aerial kicks to the airborne with the final kick, sending him flying away. Tytree then gracefully landed on the ground before chasing after Combo while jumping onto the higher ground of the island before activating his crossbow and aiming it at the ground.

"Guren Tsuirensen!" Tytree shouted, doing three consecutive Juhousen across the ground, striking Combo with each hit and sending Combo flying over the ropes.

Combo landed in King of Fighters XIV where he took out his advantage on Nelson.

Tytree then pumped his fists in the air with a grin. "Oh hell yeah! Not only did I show him that he shouldn't mess around with people, but I ended my node's slump so far! Now to go back to…"

"OH NO!"

Tytree raised an eyebrow before turning his head towards the direction of the shout. His eyes then widened when he saw Bowser's emblem floating in the arena, glowing red.

"YES!" Bowser grinned, pointing at said emblem. "Yes! It is here! It is here!

"Um, what is going on?" Yurika asked, not liking where this was going.

Peach merely rolled her eyes. "Bowser Time…"

Everyone in the arena stopped what they were doing, wondering what was going on. Suddenly, they noticed the Hopscotch Island was starting to shake.

"What… What is happening!?" Oume asked.

Then, the island started to SINK into the lava. Everyone, especially the ones on it, looked on in horror (except for Bowser who looked in excitement and Peach who looked in exasperation).

Mina's good eye widened before picking up Chample. "RUN!"

"But it is too late!" Kasumi shouted.

Indeed. It was little too, too late to try to escape.

"OOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!"

Kasumi, Oume, Lilly and Mina all flew through the air in pain after being ejected by the lava. They then flew towards the middle island. Ryu and Dot's eyes widened in horror.

CRASH!

Everyone winced as the aforementioned fighters ended up in a huge pile, groaning in agony. A confused Chample blinked twice before standing on top of the pile.

"I am glad that you are alright, Chample, but can you please get off my back…?" Mina groaned.

"Why don't you ALL get off my back?" Dot asked, drumming her fingers against the ground at the bottom of the pile, looking more annoyed than hurt."

Drake shook his head before speaking through the microphone. "For those who are confused, in Mario Party 7, after every five turns, Bowser Time will activate where the titular person will appear to cause chaos for the players."

"On this particular board, one of the four islands will sink." Ashley sighed.

"So the islands are going to vanish until there is only one left!?" Sonic shouted.

"No… After the next Bowser Time, when another island sinks, the previous sunken island will reappear." Drake explained. "Don't worry, considering that the board seems to be treating this as Bowser Time after five eliminations, Bowser Time will only appear two more times."

"Not even Monokuma's Big Guy Blockers were THIS chaotic!" Karin exclaimed.

"Hey, at least you more or less know what you are getting into." Drake shrugged.

The people on the middle island turned towards Bowser with death glares. The Koopa King just smirked and waved to them.

"You are SO lucky that I already have someone to beat down…" Lilly growled.

"Welcome to Mario Party!" Bowser smirked. He then turned his head to see a stunned Tytree walking over. "Whoops. Sorry, dude, I was so psyched about Bowser Time that I have completely forgotten that I was supposed to fight the winner! Hey, do you still want to fight and have the moment passed?"

Tytree angrily jumped up and down. "Like hell I would ever let a moment to punch your face in pass!"

Meanwhile, the Pyro was… Doing the backstroke across the lava and humming as if it was water. Eduardo, Vivian, Luke Fon Fabre and Laphicet watched them

"Five eliminations and already this section is a mess." Vivian muttered, shaking her head.

Eduardo let out a deep sigh. "Are we just going back to fighting each other?"

Luke jumped at this. "YOU want to willingly fight?"

"No, I don't. But I don't want us to be stuck in a situation that we can't run away from." Eduardo muttered.

"That is a good point." Laphicet noted. "Not only will this island potentially be next, but this island could be harder to fight on due to others going to fight here."

Vivian sighed. "Then, let's continue."

The others nodded before they got on opposite sides and got ready to fight. Vivian made the first move by slinking into the shadows. Laphicet responded by casting a spell. Eduardo saw this and ran over, but Luke was there to jump him.

"Devil's Inferno!" Luke shouted, swinging his free hand and back-handing Eduardo in the chest. He then pulled his large sword over him and swung it downwards. However, Eduardo managed to yelp and catch it, inadvertently using his strength to avoid getting cut. Luke's eyes widened before giving a sheepish grin. Eduardo narrowed his eyes before swinging the sword with Luke still holding on to it on the other side, crashing the red-haired youth in the ground. Meanwhile, Laphicet kept an eye on Vivian's shadow while casting her spell.

"Divine Sabre!" Laphicet shouted, sending holy lightning strikes on the ground where he saw where Vivian's shadow was. However, the spell stopped, Vivian reappeared out of the ground, startling him.

"H-How!?" Laphicet gasped. "You are a SHADOW Siren! You should be weak to holy magic!"

"I am. That doesn't mean your magic would reach me!" Vivian smirked before igniting her fist in fire. Laphicet yelped before throwing his sheets of paper forward.

"Lunar Fountain!" Laphicet shouted, making the pages erupt in mini-explosions of light. This struck Vivian hitting her with holy magic. Laphicet thought quickly and threw three more pages.

"Tri-Flare!" Laphicet yelled, making the pages erupt in a pillar of fire. This struck Vivian, knocking her down. He then ran off to get more space. Only to see Luke crashing on his back hard after being hit by Eduardo, startling Laphicet. As Luke sat up while Eduardo was approaching sternly, Laphicet realised where Luke landed.

"Luke, I just used a Divine Sabre there just now!" Laphicet shouted. Luke's eyes bugged out before getting up and ready to swing his sword. Then, electricity surged around Luke's blade. Eduardo's eyes bugged out before putting back on his rubber gloves, but it was too late.

"Lightning Tiger Blade!" Luke shouted, swinging his sword upward and striking Eduardo with electricity. Luke then leapt up, zapping the imaginary friend further before sending his sword downward, sending his opponent crashing on the ground. Luke then went on to continue the assault.

Then, an explosion of fire appeared where he was, knocking him away from Eduardo. Laphicet gasped before looking to the side to see Vivian who just finished her Fiery Jinx with an angry frown. Speaking how protective she was, Laphicet quickly casted a weak yet quick spell.

"Bright Shade!" Laphicet shouted, making an explosion of light and darkness, but Vivian was able to run into the shadow. Laphicet frowned while stepping back, knowing that Vivian could pop up. Meanwhile, Luke and Eduardo got up to their feet, groaning.

"Demon Fist!" Luke shouted before getting up and doing an uppercut with his free hand and sent a shockwave at Eduardo. The purple-furred creature yelped before jumping to the side. Luke then ran forward and slashed forward. However, for a pair of hands to grab Eduardo and pull him to safety. Luke stumbled a bit, barely stopping himself from tripping.

"W-Where did he go!?" Luke exclaimed.

"The Shadow Siren took her into the shadows!" Laphicet warned, running over. "I think they are trying to regroup!"

"Then, we should too!" Luke offered. "The closest unpredictable tactic they have was those bird-tree-aeroplane eggs! And he can't rely on them forever!"

Laphicet nodded his head before the two got into a stance while eyeing the shadow. Soon, they finally appeared from the shadows.

…To see Vivian smirking and Eduardo… Holding in his breath.

Eduardo then let out a loud roar which was so powerful that it sent the stunned Luke and Laphicet rolling backwards as if they were in a Peanuts cartoon. They then collapsed on the ground with Luke lying dazed on the ground, pinning Laphicet who was struggling in vain in escape.

Seeing that their opponents were down, the two ran over with Luke picking up the still-dazed Luke and throwing him out of the ring. Vivian on the other hand, sent out her palms, making a small burst of fire, not to hurt Laphicet too much, but still more than enough to send him flying out of the ring. The two both sighed in relief before looking at each other with smiles.

"See? You are one of the only people that could make your bark just as more efficient than your bite." Vivian offered.

Eduardo scratched the back of his head. "Si… I guess you are right."

Luke and Laphicet both landed in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 where they helped the main group against various monsters.

(Unknown Location)

Terry's murderers looked up at the screen.

"Huh. Our 'Terry' seems to be doing well."

"Yeah, it is almost as if we are given the chance, we would surprise the world. Tch."

"As much as I am happy that he is doing better than the so-called 'veterans' like Bison and Luke, there is a bigger issue. How are we going to kill Drake NOW?"

"Yeah. Even if we manage to do so, we will be destroyed by Nine."

"...Hey, you don't think."

"Drake picked Nine to purposefully use her as a bodyguard against us?"

"...Ugh, talk about being a genius of the worst kind."

"I'd prefer lucky son-of-a-gun, but unfortunately, his plan more or less worked. Nine's powerful wind magic could easily blow away the garlic."

"Ugh, come on! And we spent so much trying creating the second garlic bomb!"

"It can't be helped. Now what?"

"Cancel the plans? It is not like the garlic attack and Terry's murder will be traced back to us."

Then, their leader stepped forward, looking stern.

"No… NO! I refuse to let blood-breath live after what he did to us! We can't just let him get away with this! Besides, we came way too far to just give up!"

"I know what you mean, man. But what can we do?"

Suddenly, someone ran towards them.

"Bad news, guys! They found Terry's body!"

"What!? Already!?"

"Yeah, the news is spreading like wildfire in the dome! It is only a matter of time before the hosts find out!"

"Ugh, this isn't happening! He is SO going to be caught!"

"...Maybe he will. But at least he has proven our point."

"...Yeah, but at what cost?"

"Look, we will worry about him later! For now, we have to find a way to kill Drake!"

"We should have some time. Seeing that we are both not one, but two scapegoats."

"True."

"Even still, I think we should be more safe than sorry."

"Meaning…?"

"While our top priority should be the death of Drake, let's also take some time to keep up the framing act."

"I don't know. More people are alert. I think that it is harder to go around the dome and hotel."

"Bruh. There are literally TWENTY-NINE of us right now. Even if one of us gets caught, as long as we keep our mouths shut, we should complete the Challenge."

"And what are they going to do if they do catch us? They can't ID us!"

"I suppose that is ONE benefit of all of this."

"So what are we waiting for? Let's make like Ember McLain and make them wish they remembered our names!"

"YEAH!"

(Dome; Bar)

"EHHHHH!?"

"What do you mean that Terry has died!?" Yuri shouted.

Needless to say, R. Mika's large group along with King, the bar staff and the rest of the patrons looked on in horror at what they were doing. Juri Han just shrugged her shoulders before taking a drink from her glass.

"It is as I said." Juri repeated. "Not only was a sword found through his body, but Rock Howard himself IDed him as the real deal."

Geese slapped his forehead with a snarl. "Are you kidding me!? Terry has been the biggest thorn in my side since the very first Fatal Fury and when he is finally dead, I cannot bask in his death!?"

"Speak for yourself!" Yamazaki sneered before laughing as several people glared at the two for their comments.

"Do they HAVE to be here?" Yuri growled, gritting her teeth, looking like she was stopping herself from attacking Geese and Yamazaki.

"Unfortunately, yes." Hinako sighed. "If there is one person who would be more determined to rescue Billy besides his sister, it would be Geese Howard."

"That also explains why Yamazaki is here. I could imagine how much money he paid him." R. Mika said, shaking her head.

"What I want to know is how Terry was able to be killed!" Geese said, gritting his teeth and crossing his arms.

"If what Juri says is right, Terry was stabbed from behind. Maybe he was ambushed." Samus offered before sighing. "What I want to know is the why."

"Um, I could understand why everyone is freaking out, but may I remind everyone that there is a strong chance that his murder is UNRELATED to our issue?" Magilou said.

Hinako glared at Magilou. "Magilou, don't be selfish!"

"Just saying." The pale-blonde shrugged.

"While she definitely needs to be more tactful about it, she is right." Samus sighed. "Especially since Oume's group is clearly provoking us."

"But why? Don't the villains usually try to AVOID alerting hero groups?" Veemon asked.

"First off, I think we should narrow down what is the connection between the three victims." Static suggested.

"Yeah, that is going to be easier said than done." Edna scoffed.

"At first, when I noticed that both Billy and Dan were victims, I thought it was some kind of revenge for interfering with their plans at the Megamix Tournament." Mika said. "But Pichu threw a wrench into that theory."

"Maybe he ended up running into their plans and brainwashed him?" Impmon asked. "You know? He knows too much."

"But if that is the case, whoever was in charge of the brainwashing didn't have to go that hard." Yuri frowned.

"Maybe they are copying what they did in the first Battle of the Luminaries? Going after people with no fans?" Samus asked.

"Billy, Dan and Pichu all have solid fanbases." Static corrected, shaking his head.

"Umm…"

Everyone turned their heads to see Jan sitting on a stool with a frown.

"I… Don't know for sure if this is relevant to Oume's group, but I think there is another victim." Jan said, sadly.

"Really? Who is it?" Veemon asked.

"It is Shizu from Samurai Shodown." Jan sighed.

Geese, Yamazaki, Yuri and Hinako's eyes bugged out while everyone else was confused.

"Shizu? I… Don't think I am familiar with that fighter." Leonardo said. "Are they from one of Samurai Shodown's spin-offs?"

"No, she is more-or-less from the main game. As Haohmaru's girlfriend!" Jan corrected.

Leonardo's eyes bugged out at this. "Wait? THAT Shizu!? But…"

"She is not a fighter?" Jan asked before sighing. "But she somehow managed to get into a fight with Genjuro Kibagami using her boyfriend's weapon and fighting style."

Everyone blinked twice when they heard this.

"Okay, the 'WTF they kidnapped Dan for' joke is officially outdated. THAT is the most WTF brainwashing victim choice." Magilou pointed out.

"Wait…"

Everyone turned to R. Mika who had wide eyes and a slack jaw.

"M-Mika?" Hinako asked, concerned.

"...If Shizu IS one of the brainwashing victims… Then, I think I found our pattern." R. Mika said, softly.

"R-Really? Then, don't hesitate!" Geese insisted.

"First off, let's get some things straight." said before turning towards Jan. "Jan, what happened?"

"Um, I can't really say." The Frenchboy said. "After Shizu and Genjuro started to fight in the arcade, I ran to the Eliminated Seating to get Haohmaru and direct him back there. We got sidetracked when we ran into Bison, but apparently he is more or less innocent this time around."

"Emphasis on 'more or less'." Edna snarked.

"After running into my sis, Haohmaru ran to the arcade and we spent the rest of our time trying to figure out what the hell was going on." Jan said.

"Okay, that's fair." R. Mika nodded. "So despite not going with Haohmaru, you can confirm that he would try to investigate what happened to Shizu."

Jan blinked twice. "Um, duh? You should have seen the guy. It was like he was in permanent rage mode."

"Okay, so we have a potential ally in Haohmaru." R. Mika mused. "Now let's take our thinking to another level. Instead of thinking of what the victims have in common. Let's think about what the connections they have with OUR group and figure out what OUR similarities are."

Everyone's eyes widened at this. They then looked at each other in confusion before connecting the dots. Their eyes then bugged out.

"Pichu is like Pikachu's little brother…" Samus said in awe.

"Billy is one of the only people Geese treat with 100% respect." Yuri added.

"And Shizu is Haohmaru's true love." Leonardo concluded.

"Which leaves Dan." R. Mika said, narrowing her eyes. "I may be his girlfriend, but there are actually three people that like him greatly. Blanka, Yuriko Hibiki and…"

King gasped. "Sakura Kasugano…"

"THAT'S right. The victims so far and linked to the UVR winners!" R. Mika exclaimed.

Everyone's eyes bugged out at this. Then, Yamazaki and Juri started to laugh.

"Okay, WOW! I knew that the people in charge of these villain plots are brazen, but pissing off the UVR champions!?" Juri laughed.

"I know, right!?" Yamazaki cackled. "Granny got a bit of moxie from her!"

Geese gritted his teeth. "Oh, Oume wants UVR Champions, we will give her UVR Champions!"

"Hold up, do you really think it is wise?" Magilou scolded.

"I don't care why Oume wants me! I am not going to sit back and let them mess around with us like that!" Geese snapped before looking down at Pikachu. "You feel the same thing, right?"

"Of course! Even if it is a trap, we can't just let them get away with this!" Pikachu nodded, sternly

"See? He agrees with me!" Geese insisted.

"And don't forget, to purposefully go after all UVR champions is to go after UVR itself." R. Mika said, narrowing her eyes. "We can't just hide!"

"Exactly! Now let's quit pussy-footing and come up with a plan of action!" Geese noted.

"Okay, sure, but what is it?" Veemon asked. "Just wander around until we find someone in Oume's group?"

"I am not saying that we SHOULDN'T do it, but first things first." Geese pointed out. "Let's split up into three groups. One group will try to reunite with Haohmaru, one group will go to the Street Fighter Locker Room and the rest and the last one will go to the crowd."

"Hey, wait a minute." Veemon said, blinking twice. "If you are thinking what I think you are, then shouldn't we split up into FOUR groups?"

Geese, along with several people, looked uneasy at this.

"It's… Complicated." Geese frowned.

Veemon just blinked twice before Geese turned to King.

"King! Call me the one in charge of the arcade!" Geese commanded. "Even if the trail is long gone, maybe there is still SOME kind of new information to be learned."

Normally, The bartender would be more agitated to be commanded by Geese Howard, but she knew that this was an emergency and picked up the phone to call Vic.

"Now let's decide on the teams." Geese offered.

Everyone nodded as Jan frowned while Juri looked on with a raised eyebrow.

"Huh. It is a pity that I told myself that I will be taking a break from UVR tournament backstage plots for a while." Juri noted. "This sounds like this one is really going to be fun."

"Well, that's ONE way of looking at it." Jan muttered.

(The Arena)

After having their fights interrupted by Bowser, the people that were previously on Hopscotch Island decided to take their fighters to someone else. Kasumi, Lilly and Oume went over to Rollercoaster Island. And Mina Majikina was still on the central platform, aiming her bow.

At the lava. She narrowed her good eye. Then, her target, the Pyro came out of the lava, as if they were reanating Free Willy. Mina wasted no time firing an arrow at the Pyro, striking him in the chest. The mercenary cried out in pain before falling back into the lava. Mina got out another arrow from her quiver and aimed again with Chample cheering her on.

Then, the Pyro poked his head out of the lava and aimed a flare gun before shooting at Mina. However, the archer fired at the incoming shot, resulting in an explosion. The Pyro growled behind his mask before firing another shot. This time, Mina stepped to the side and fired another arrow, but the Pyro ducked his head into the lava. Mina just frowned.

"If I knew that I would be fighting in an arena full of lava, I would have gone to the item shop to get some anti-fire arrows of some kind." Mina lamented. She then continued to scan the lava, looking for any signs of life. Then, she saw the Pyro come out of the lava. …Only to see them aiming their flamethrower.

However, instead of spitting out fire, it sent out concussed air which sent lava at the central island. Mina's good eye bugged out before crouching down and picking Chample and jumping over the wave before it could hit her. But while she was able to avoid the wave, she was unable to spill lava on the platform.

"YEEOW!"

Mina was now hopping on her feet from the lava. The Pyro poked their head out of the lava sea to fire another flare gun shot only to see Mina reacting. In their twisted minds, they thought that she was dancing. The Pyro excitedly clapped his hands before swimming towards the central platform and used his concussion blast as a rocket jump on it. The Pyro then started to dance, copying Mina's example.

"Ooh, here is a good chance!" Astaroth smirked before putting on a song.

(Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow)

The speakers then started to play Plucky Duck's cover of Aloha Oe. Particularly when he stepped on top of a hot coal pit in "Buster and Babs Go Hawaiian". Some people started to laugh and even started to dance along with them. Soon, Mina ended up hopping over to a bridge that was safe from the lava. She then narrowed her eyes before putting down and getting out her bow and aiming it at the Pyro who was still dancing.

"Hey, Pyro, I think I saw a shining quarter on the floor!"

The pyromaniac's head perked up at this before crouching down to try to find the quarter. Mina's arrow then flew past, harmlessly. The latter blinked twice before turning to glare at Dot with Ryu standing next to her.

"What? Just because we aren't double-teaming at the moment, that doesn't mean we can't help each other." Dot shrugged.

Mina's eyebrow twitched before deciding to try again and aim her arrow. However, the Pyro already got up and fired another concussion blast of air which sent Mina's arrow right back at her. The brown-skinned woman's eyes widened before swinging her bow downward with light green energy around it, turning in a ground wave back at Pyro. However, the mercenary thought quickly and shot another concussion blast.

The two continued to try to deflect the ground wave at each other with Chample jumping up and down, trying to cheer Mina on. Then, the Pyro sent the projectile back again, however, it went at an angle and ended up going past Mina.

And into Chample.

Mina looked in horror as Chample was sent flying by the wave so hard that he fell out of the ring.

"Chample!" Mina gasped before rushing on the bridge that was leading towards the Entrance Ramp. "I am coming!"

The moment Mina reached the ramp, she climbed onto the ropes and dove off into the elimination portal. The Pyro paused at this. They then pumped their flamethrower in the air, realising that they got another elimination.

Mina landed in League of Legends. Seeing that Varus had a demonic bow, she decided to purify it with her own bow.

All of the MechaBowser island, Bowser and Tytree Crowe watched the whole thing with wide eyes. The latter then glared at his opponent.

"See!? Look what your stage choice did!" Tytree scolded.

"Again, you should blame Drake for deciding to invite the Pyro back, let alone in the same section as Dot!" Bowser countered. "Besides, put yourself in my shell! I was supposed to have the biggest advantage here and yet I outshined on my own board!"

Tytree rolled his eyes before aiming his wristed crossbow over Bowser. "Senshousen!"

With that, he shot an energy shot over his opponent which turned into several energy shots raining down. But Bowser thought quickly before lying on his stomach and using his shell to block the incoming barrage. However, Tytree thought quickly and did a sliding kick, striking Bowser in the snout which was followed by a spin kick to the face. The reptile grunted in pain before swinging his claws out at Tytree, but the herbomancer rolled backwards out of harm's way.

"Juhousen" Tytree shouted, shooting another shot at the ground and sending a wave into Bowser's face. The Koopa grunted in pain before standing up straight and breathing out a stream of fire. However, Tytree just gave a toothy grin before rolling to the side and running over and jumped up on top of Bowser's head with both feet. Despite the attack hurting, Bowser still quickly grabbed Tytree by one leg.

"You WISH you were Mario!" Bowser taunted before throwing Tytree into the side of a Bowser Cannon. Tytree groaned before weakly looking up. His eyes then bugged out when he saw Bowser rushing over before running to the side. Acting quickly, he rolled to the side to avoid being smashed into the cannon by a shoulder-ram.

"Guren Zankuukyaku!" Tytree shouted, doing a series of kicks to Bowser's stomach, not unlike Chun-Li, before ending with a kick to the side. As Bowser staggered back, Tytree ran forward.

"Gouretsu Rengadan!" Tytree shouted, pushing his palms forward and creating a cone of energy around him. However, Bowser quickly retreated inside of his shell to block most of the damage, but it did send his shell onto his back. A glint appeared in Tytree's eye before he ran over and jumped up.

"Kuuha Tsuirensen!" Tytree yelled before jumping up and doing a powerful axe kick into Bowser's stomach. A stream of fire popped out of the Koopa's head hole and he popped his head and limbs, looking like he got the wind knocked out of him. Bowser quickly kicked Tytree in his stomach, knocking him back. Bowser slowly got up, holding his stomach.

"Okay, what the hell!?" Bowser roared. "Why are you so strong!?"

"What? You think that I am a wimp?" Tytree boasted with a smirk.

Bowser paused before answering in sincerity. "I mean, considering that the first Battle of the Luminaries didn't bother showing your fight with Peach, yeah, I kinda did."

Tytree's smirk vanished. "And THIS is why I, along with many others, are glad that modern UVR tournaments don't cut corners with screentime!"

Bowser merely shrugged before breathing in and sending a fireball forward. However, Tytree slid underneath it and ran up to do a series of punches, but Bowser raised his arms to block it like a boxer. The Koopa then spun around with his tail on fire, tripping Tytree off of his feet and before he could hit the ground, Bowser kicked his foot out and sent him flying and crashing on the ground. Bowser ran after him as Tytree got up.

Then, they heard a mechanical noise. Turning their heads, they saw the Mecha-Bowser head turning his head. Their eyes bugged out before looking down to see Tytree standing on a Happening Space. The Mecha-Bowser then started to breathe fire from left to right.

Tytree smirked before pulling his hands back and sending into Bowser's back, sending him forward towards the fire and jumping away from the Mecha-Bowser.

"Not normally how I would like to end fights." Tytree mused as he watched the Mecha-Bowser's flames engulf Bowser completely. "But he needs a taste of his own medicine."

Then, much to his horror, a giant spinning FLAMING shell appeared out of the flames. Before he could react, the shell crashed into him and sent him flying straight through the air and even passed other islands before falling out of the arena.

Bowser then broke out of his shell and did a breakdance before going into a "Paint Me Like One Of Those French Girls" pose. "Ha! I knew that I was too hot for you!"

Tytree landed in Pokemon where he got into a one-on-one against a Breloom.

On Rollercoaster Island, Oume Goketsuji (still in her young form) jumped up and blew three flaming hearts forward. Lilly Kane narrowed her eyes before engulfing her staff in cold wind before spinning it around, negating the hearts. Oume just smirked before doing a series of kicks, forcing Lilly to block them with the final kick, making her stagger back. Oume then went to continue the assault.

Until Kasumi Todoh ran in her way and raised her arms to counter Oume's punch and threw her over her shoulder. …Only for Oume to land on her feet and throw HER onto her back. Then, Lilly extended her staff into Oume's back, creating an explosion of ice which sent Oume crashing on her back. Lilly then ran over and multiplied her staff into several at once and struck her down.

Lilly was about to continue the assault, but Oume managed to turn around and catch Lilly's staff. However, Lilly made the end of her staff freeze Oume's hand. The older woman's (in terms of age) eyes bugged out before she then pulled her staff back and started to bludgeon Oume with her staff, forcing the latter to cross her arms. Then, Oume was engulfed in a bright flash of light, turning back into her actual ageing form.

"Looks like your transformation isn't temporary." Lilly said. "That makes it easier for me to beat the intel out of you."

"Lilly, please!" Kasumi scolded before glaring down at Oume. "But still. You are outnumbered two to one with an UVR champion and a vengeful sister! Now kidnapping Billy is one thing, but why did you have him attack his own sister?"

Oume then smirked. "Why not?"

"...Then, I will throw you into the lava." Lilly spat.

"L-Lilly!" Kasumi gasped. "You are somehow as violent as your brother while you are mad!"

"Aw, come on! You are a cryomancer, aren't you? You shouldn't hold a grudge." Oume said before smirking. "You need…"

Lilly gritted her teeth. "You… Wouldn't.. Dare."

"...To Let It Go." Oume concluded.

Lilly let out a furious roar before pulling her staff back while engulfing the end with ice and sending it downwards like a club. However, Oume easily rolled out of the way. She then turned around and ran off. Lilly growled before running after her. Kasumi shook her head before following her. Oume then climbed a ladder on a pillar before jumping into the rollercoaster.

"Please keep your hands inside when I am kicking your ass!" Oume gloated. The roller coaster then started to move. She then proceeded to send out green energy projectiles. Lilly and Kasumi thought quickly and ran out of the way of the barrage. Lilly then growled before running towards the rollercoaster before pole-vaulting her in the air.

Then, everyone who wasn't familiar with the Maximum Impact series looked in awe as Lilly spun her staff around and used it to glide towards Oume. The ageing woman was actually taken off-guard and spat out her dentures with energy around them. However, Lilly quickly stopped her strange glide and dropped down to dodge the projectile. She then extended her staff towards the front of the rollercoaster. This resulted in another explosion of ice, forcing the rollercoaster to come to a sudden stop.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"

That was the sound of Oume as she flew through the air from the sudden stop and didn't stop until she was clear out of the arena.

Kasumi brightened up as Lilly landed on the ground.. "Hey, you did it!"

The blonde stood up. "No, I didn't."

Kasumi's smile vanished. "H-Huh?"

"I still didn't get the intel I got." Lilly lamented.

"Oh, Lilly, I am sorry…" Kasumi frowned.

"It is fine… Maybe I would have better luck with the next villain that enters the ring." The cryomancer admitted.

Kasumi paused before she was about to say something.

Until they heard a familiar noise.

Turning their heads, they saw Bowser's red emblem again. Suddenly, the island they were on started to shake.

"Are you kidding me!?" Lilly exclaimed.

"Come on! We won't get ANYTHING done if we keep getting burned!" Kasumi insisted.

With that, they along with Eduardo and Vivian ran towards the bridge and jumped to avoid it. Unfortunately, Lola Pop and Eileen were the furthest away from said bridge.

"Oh no! We are not going to make it in time!" Eileen gasped.

"Well, not normally!" Lola offered with a smirk. "I think I got an idea! Eileen, hold onto me!"

The Chinese girl blinked twice before quickly wrapping her arms Lola. The clown then extended her arms towards the descending roller coaster rails.

"Up, up and away!" Lola shouted.

With that, she used her ARMS as a slingshot and launched herself AND Eileen (who was hanging on dear life, screaming at the top of her lungs) flying all of the way over to Mecha-Bowser Island.

Particularly towards the fight between "Terry Bogard", Zelda and Doctrine Dark. The latter was the only one to notice this and smirked behind his mask.

"Yo, Terry, Zelda, look behind you!" Bowser shouted.

The two's eyes bugged out before obliging to see a terrified Lola and Eileen soaring towards them. Realising that they had little time to react, they acted quickly. Zelda summoned a blue diamond barrier around herself to protect herself from Eileen and "Terry" shoved his hands out and summoned energy around his hands to shield himself from Lola. Both women were repelled back and fell out of the ring.

Lola and Eileen landed in Rollercoaster Tycoon where they decided to spend the next ten minutes entertaining the people visiting the amusement park.

"That was WAY too close." Zelda said, putting her hand on her chest while panting heavily.

"You're telling me." "Terry" muttered, doing the same thing with his hands on his knees.

D. Dark just crossed his arms, still smirking behind his mask.

(Announcer's Booth)

Drake looked at the whole thing that happened with wide eyes as Ashley and Nine looked exasperated.

"...Don't be surprised that everyone wants to tie you two dumbasses to fireworks just like they did to Xero and Maurice for this gimmick." Nine muttered.

"I already accepted that fate the moment Drake allowed Yggdrasil to wreak havoc in the second section." Ashley sighed.

"You didn't see that!?" Drake exclaimed.

Ashley blinked twice. "Didn't see what?"

Drake didn't answer. He just pushed a button on the control panel. A few seconds later, the Millennium Star entered the Announcer's Booth.

"Yes, what is it, Drake?" The Millennium Star asked.

"'Terry' used Saiha!" The vampire exclaimed.

The Millennium Star, Ashley and Nine jumped at this.

"I beg your pardon!" The Millennium Star gasped.

"Terry Bogard just used Yuri Sakazaki's Saiha!" Drake elaborated.

"Saiha? But… Terry never had her Saiha, right?" Ashley asked.

"No!" Drake said, sternly.

Ashley paused. "Tsugumi would rather have Lola crash into her than break 'character' so it isn't her."

"She damn well better not." Nine scoffed. "If Junko came back two tournaments in a row, I would have killed you both on the spot you let her come back."

The Millennium Star gave an unseen frown. "Um, what is going on?"

Drake let out a sigh. "MS, I think we may have to do a different ending to this section."

(The Arena)

Out of all weapon clashes, the audience wasn't expecting it between a sentient parasol and a violin bow, but here we are. Peach swung Perry at Yurika Kirishima again, but the latter swung her just-as-improbable weapon at Perry resulting in another weapon clash. Yurika then did an elegant spin and swung her bow, but Peach opened Perry to block the incoming attack.

Yurika then jumped back while playing on her violin, creating a ring of musical notes forward. Peach then crouched down and pulled out a turnip out of the ground before throwing, but Yurika did an upward swing with her bow, sending the turnip right back at Peach. The princess was not expecting and took the vegetable to the face. Yurika then ran over and did a couple of slashes to Peach.

Peach grunted in pain before spinning around her parasol outstretched. Perry struck Yurika in the face, causing her to stagger back. Peach then ran over and slapped Yurika twice with her free hand before doing a high kick to her chin (while making it look like she was swooning), sending the violinist into the air. Peach then did a jumping uppercut with Perry.

However, Yurika self-righted herself in midair and spun around while making a song on her violin, creating music notes around her and striking Peach multiple times. The blonde crashed on the ground while Yurika landed on top of Peach's stomach, knocking the wind out of her. Peach grunted in pain before managing to push Yurika off of her, allowing herself to get up.

"Are you alright, Princess?" Perry asked, concerned.

"No… Fatigue is getting the better of me. Fortunately, I have a plan." The blonde reassured.

With that, she got out her Smash Ball and broke it. Yurika just… Frowned before playing on her violin as an aura surrounded Peach. Then, she started to dance around the area with peach blossoms and hearts floating around as a soothing song was heard and images of Peach appeared around her. Then, giant peaches started to appear.

Soon, she was done. "Alright, she is asleep. Now to…"

"PRINCESS, LOOK OUT!"

Peach jumped before looking ahead. She then Yurika rushed towards, readying her violin bow. The white-haired woman did a series of violin bow slashes before doing an upward strike that sent Peach flying away. The princess sprawled across the ground for a moment. She then raised her head to see Yurika going around and eating all of the giant peaches (somehow) and healing all of her wounds.

"H-How?" Peach asked in disbelief.

Yurika turned towards Peach. "Your Final Smash puts people to sleep with a lullaby, right? I simply played my own song to overtake your song."

The princess jumped. "I knew that you specialised in music, but to be able to block out my lullaby."

"Look, even though your last one was an accident, you still have an impressive run." Yurika offered. "You managed to get the most eliminations at the moment. However, this seems like a low-scoring tournament this time around so your days are numbered."

Peach narrowed her eyes. "I regretfully disagree. Besides, there is one thing you didn't count on."

"And that is?" Yurika asked, raising an eyebrow.

"You may be a more skilled musician." Peach confessed.

She then smirked.

"But I am a HAPPIER musician!"

With that, she spun around and started to sing in an extremely enthusiastic voice. Yurika jumped as Peach ran over while skipping wildly. Peach then swung Perry a few times at an alarming rate, but Yurika managed to use her violin to block the barrage. However, a parasol strike found its way into her side. As the white-haired woman let down her guard, Peach then floated up while spinning to strike Yurika multiple times while flying straight off of the island and into the lava.

That was until Peach ran after her and caught her before she could fall into said lava. She then took Yurika in a spinning hug while floating up into the air. Poor Yurika was dazed the entire time.

"I DO love our fight, but alas, not all of us could go to the next round!" Peach chirped. "Let's meet again after the tournament!"

With one more spin, she threw Yurika out of the ring.

Yurika landed in Peanuts where she and Schroeder got into a duet with their violin and piano respectively, much to Lucy's frustration and jealousy.

Peach then landed in the ring.

"Whew, what a rush!" She sighed before looking to the side. "Hey, Bowser!"

The Koopa turned his head. "Yeah, Peach?"

"I used up most of my magic for that Vibe Power just now." The princess explained. "Can I use you to heal for a bit?"

Bowser smirked before getting into a stance. "Heh, sure, why not?"

Peach nodded before running over to Bowser. The latter put his hands together with the former putting her foot on it. Bowser then hoisted Peach into the air and when the blonde fell down, it resulted in a burst of pink hearts, healing them both.

"Better?" Bowser asked.

"A little." Peach nodded. "I still want to go on a few more trips with my Healing Jump though."

"Well, I think we got some time." Bowser chuckled. "Just say when!"

(Mishima Dojo)

Kuma walked over, carrying a tray with two cups of tea on it. He then placed it down.

Heihachi Mishima smiled at this. "Ah, thank you, Kuma!"

Kuma nodded his head as Heihachi took his cup.

"Oh, come now." Heihachi scolded with a frown. "You are only here for ten minutes. You won't be able to drink all of it by then."

Oume sighed before taking her cup. "Fine…"

"Hey, you didn't get an elimination, it happens." Heihachi shrugged. "I distinctly remember only THREE of my nodal companions getting an elimination in the first Megamix Tournament."

"It is not that! Okay, it is, but I admit that Power Instinct is an obscure node and just being one half of the series mascot could only get me so far." Oume lamented. "But I was also trying to impress Bison!"

"...Is THAT why you did that big introduction?" Heihachi asked.

Kuma snuck his tongue out in disgust from the memory.

"Of course! Bison clearly wanted to show to us that his plan is going well and doing well in the tournament is a bonus prize for him!" Oume insisted.

"And having dignity." Heihachi muttered before stifling a cough. "So I assume that YOUR plan is going well."

"Yeah, we already kidnapped and brainwashed five of the six victims." Oume nodded.

Heihachi raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Who are they?"

"Pichu, Billy Kane, Dan Hibiki, Shizu from Samurai Shodown and Rena from Final Fight 2." Oume explained.

Heihachi and Kuma blinked twice.

"...What?" Heihachi asked, finally.

"Yeah, I don't have that much time to explain." Oume sighed. "Just know that they are all a means to an end."

"If you say so…" Heihachi said, shrugging his shoulders.

"Unfortunately, we cannot go after the last target. Not yet. I… Have my reasons." Oume said before taking a sip. "Until then, I am perfectly content wasting time. By wasting my sister's plan. Too bad my mother isn't invited here because she would totally be on my side. Though I wouldn't be surprised if I have to fight HER for the right to give Bison an heir."

Heihachi shook his head. "You Goketsujis are a messed-up bunch."

"I don't need to hear that from YOU!" Oume scolded.

Heihachi then let out a hearty laugh. "Yeah, you really don't!"

Kuma just rolled his eyes.

(Dome; Recovery Room)

"And if you vampires are feeling ill, feel free to come back." Nurse Joy offered.

"Yes, we understand." The Count nodded, putting his hand on top of Mina's head where the latter hugged his arm.

"We are eternally in your debt for what you have done for us!" Bernard smiled, putting his hand around Wilhamena. "We were so worried."

"It is quite alright." Joy nodded. "Just doing our job."

"Yeah, well, I don't suppose you got any news on who was behind the garlic attack or what?" Duzer asked, crossing her arms.

Joy frowned. "Um, sorry, you just have to ask the security team for tha."

"Oh, I will!" Duzer scoffed, rolling her eyes. "Even though the cleaning staff were good at their job, that didn't change that they changed my dress with garlic!"

"Woah, nice to reign in your concern for me." Vinnie chuckled.

Schneider chuckled as well. "Come on, Duzer. We missed a good chunk of the tournament so let's not miss the rest."

"Fine… Might as well get our money's worth." The gorgon muttered.

With that, the group then made their way back to the stands. However, before they could get far, they all noticed something that made their eyes bugged out.

F.A.N.G. was sitting against the wall while holding a hand-mirror and Vega was sitting down as well, admiring it in awe. F.A.N.G. grumpily looked up to see everyone staring at them.

"Don't ask." He spat.

"Valid advice." Enid snarked. "Let's go, everyone."

Needless to say, no one needed to be told as they wisely made their way past the two Shadaloo fighters. F.A.N.G. just sighed.

"Vega was always a narcissist, but I don't remember him being THIS bad."

F.A.N.G. raised an eyebrow before turning his head. He then yelped when he saw Dhaos standing against the wall with his arms crossed.

"D-Dhaos!?" F.A.N.G. exclaimed, trying not to drop the mirror. "What are you doing here!?"

"The same could be said for YOU." The archmage explained with a raised eyebrow. "You?"

"W-What kind of question is THAT!?" F.A.N.G. scolded. "We are here for Lord Bison!"

"We? I mean he has enough common sense to invite ME so I suppose I have to return the favour." Vega shrugged, making F.A.N.G. glare at him.

Dhaos blinked twice. "Um, right."

"S-So why are YOU here?" F.A.N.G. asked, desperately trying to change the subject.

"Well, recently, Reptile has been recruited into our group and he is currently in charge of transporting our items to our base of operations seeing that he could turn invisible." Dhaos explained. He then frowned. "And it SHOULD be the case here, but he is not here yet."

"Maybe he notices that I am here and realises that he is too ugly to be alive." Vega said.

F.A.N.G. and Dhaos paused.

"...Okay, what is your problem?" Dhaos asked. "Seriously, you were never THIS bad."

"Me? Bad? Only in Topsy Turvy Town." Vega scoffed.

F.A.N.G. just groaned.

(Hotel; Lobby)

Moseby yelped before Rena crashed into the reception desk. The latter groaned before looking up only to roll to the side to avoid a ball of acid, melting a hole into the desk.

"No acid-spitting in the lobby!" Moseby shouted in disdain, but was ignored.

Reptile just scoffed after missing her projectile and ran straight at Rena while she was getting up and swinging his claw downwards at her. However, Rena jumped back to avoid the claw slash. Reptile then proceeded to do a series of claw swipes, but Rena showed deceptively speed, managing to dodge or parry all of the attacks.

Rena then found an opening and did an upwards hurricane kick to Reptile, sending the Saurian into the air. But Rena was not done yet as she landed on the ground and zoomed forward past the falling Reptile to perform a Spinning Izuna Drop on him. After being spiked into the air, Reptile laid on the ground, groaning. His eyes bugged out when Rena did an axe kick into his stomach.

Reptile's eyes widened after getting the wind out of him, but managed to roll out of the way to avoid the second axe-kick. Reptile then did a leg sweep, knocking Rena off of her feet, but the Asian woman managed to land on her hands before landing on her feet and glaring at her guilty party. Only to realise that Reptile was out of her vision. Knowing that he turned invisible, Rena merely narrowed her eyes before getting out…

…A pair of spray cans before spinning around on one leg while spraying, making a vortex of colour around her. Part of the paint cloud got onto Reptile and made him cough a few times. Rena then ran over to do a flying kick, but Reptile recovered in time and threw himself to the ground and allowed Rena to fly past.

Moseby threw his hands in the air in frustration. "Spray cans! Because that is what every ninja needs! Totally not to put me into cardiac arrest!"

"I am going to have to agree with him." Reptile nodded. "You are supposed to practise Bushin-Ryu, right? What part of that has to do with spray cans!"

"You will fight out… Eventually." Rena admitted. "But I do not want to tell a jobber."

Reptile growled behind his back. "Well, at least I have a character! Seriously, despite being Guy's girl, where was HE when you were kidnapped along with… What's-his-name? Eh, if Capcom doesn't care, why should I?"

Rena just narrowed her eyes before taking a step on the ground and doing an elbow charge. Reptile did the same thing, causing the two to clash. Reptile went in for a kick, but Rena got out a tonfa and stuck it on the ground before using it to spin her leg around, kicking Reptile in the face.

Despite being knocked onto the ground, the green-clad warrior surrounded the bottom of his body and did a sliding kick and knocked Rena off of her feet. Reptile then backflipped out of his slide and landed right onto Rena's back. As the dark-haired woman cried in pain, Reptile crouched down and proceeded to put Rena in a sleeper hold.

"Sleep tight, Xena." Reptile sneered.

Rena gritted her teeth before using the slime on the ground from Reptile's slide kick to throw the Saurian onto her side. Despite the painful fall, Reptile got up and did a sweeping kick, but Rena quickly rolled backwards out of the way before doing a double kick to Reptile's face, knocking him onto his back. Rena then flipped forward and did an axe kick onto Reptile. That was when Reptile flipped backwards and landed on the wall on all fours.

"Footprints on the WALL now!?" Moseby shouted in disbelief. "Not even Zack & Cody did that!"

Reptile then lashed out for his tongue at Rena, but she ran out of the way. Reptile continued to lash out his tongue before rolling to the side to avoid it. Reptile continued to lash out his tongue at Rena, but the Asian woman continued to run around like a ninja, avoiding the barrage. She then ran up the wall before going after Reptile. The Saurian's eyes widened in horror.

He then summoned green slime energy in his hands while standing on the wall. Rena was not expecting Reptile to do a "standing" attack and ran into it before knocking "upwards in the air". Reptile then pounced forward and did an axe kick, knocking Rena to the ground, instantly falling unconscious the moment she landed on the ground.

Reptile gracefully landed on the ground before letting out a deep sigh. "Typical. The one time I won, it was against a woman that never showed any combat experience. Ever."

Moseby gulped nervously. "W-W-Would it do any good to ask that murder is out allowed in the lobby?"

Reptile rolled his eyes. "Relax. We need to get intel out of her. About Oume's team's plan and why the hell is she fighting like Shinnok from Mortal Kombat 4?"

"Valid questions that you will never hear answered!"

Reptile's eyes widened before turning to the direction of the shout, only for someone to do a flying kick to his stomach. He was sent flying back, crashing into the reception desk (making poor Moseby yelp again).

Reptile groaned as he weakly looked up to see The Shredder crouched down and picking up Rena over-the-shoulder style.

"Looks like Kurow's brainwashing isn't invincible." The Shredder admitted.

Reptile growled behind his mask. "Why did you attack me, Shredder? If it is because this woman is your ally, I don't know why she attacked me."

"Spare me. I was here the entire time." The Shredder scoffed.

Reptile's eyes bugged out. "W-What?"

"That's right!" The Shredder said, smirking through his mask.

"But if that's the case, why not… Oh, I don't know…" Moseby started before angrily slamming his fists on the desk. "STOP THE FIGHT!"

"I was filming the fight." The Shredder said, matter-of-factly.

Reptile and Moseby blinked twice.

"Like I said, I was filming it on my phone. Not going to lie, I was hoping that Rena will win to show how much of a stupid idea for you to choose Otane's plan, but eh, you still helped our team a lot." The Shredder said.

Reptile stood up, confused. "W-What do you mean?"

"Oh, don't worry too much. You would be lagging too much behind us to ever find out." The Shredder reassured. He then got out a smoke bomb. "Still, we will be waiting for you at the finish line!"

With that, he threw it on the ground, engulfing him in a cloud of smoke. When said cloud cleared, the Shredder was long gone.

"H-Hey!" Reptile shouted. He was about to run off after the Shredder until he heard his phone ring. He then quickly got out his phone and answered it.

"Reptile, where are you?" Dhaos's voice said, angrily. "Otane specifically told us that we should worry about you or Basara to transport the Star Pieces!"

The Saurian frowned. "S-Sorry. Listen, you are strong enough. Look, can I ask Komodo Joe to go collect the Star Pieces in my place? I have a bit to explain to our team."

"Why? Did something happen?" Dhaos asked.

"So much that I don't even know where to begin." Reptile sighed.

"Tell me about it." Moseby muttered, rolling his eyes. "Look at all of the damages to the lobby."

Reptile turned towards the dark-skinned man with a blank stare. "Oh, are you still here?"

(The Arena)

From Hopscotch Island, Eduardo and Vivian watched as they ate french fries together as Bowser and Peach continued to use the Team Healing Jump combo on Mecha-Bowser Island.

"Senorita Peach is surprisingly strong." Eduardo said in awe as they walked around the island.

"Yes, five Big Guy Section or not, it is rare for someone to get one elimination, only to end up with two more the following section." Vivian noted. "Especially since she was in the arena for a bit."

"Ah…" Eduardo said before turning to Vivian. "Speaking of fatigue, how are YOU doing?"

"Oh, I am doing just fine at the moment." The Shadow Siren reassured. "These French Fries also helped."

"Really? I am glad!" Eduardo noted. "I heard that the tournament was under this curse that it would be a low-scoring one."

Vivian looked confused. "...What kind of rumour is THAT?"

"Well, before this section, not too many people got past five eliminations, something that people easily passed early on in other tournaments." Eduardo shrugged.

"True. Not helping is we had a lot of shocking eliminations with Static Shock and Puss in Boots." Vivian frowned.

"Well, regardless, even though you may still have a fight in you, I am going to try to help you." Eduardo offered, getting up.

"Really?" Vivian asked. "You don't have to force yourself.

"It's fine. I AM your boyfriend, after all." Eduardo reassured. "Besides, if Senor Mac and Azul could get eliminations the way they did at the Tournament of Kikai, I think I got a decent shot of staying alive."

"Not… Wrong." Vivian frowned.

"Okay, not the best boast, but I mean it." Eduardo insisted before narrowing his eyes. "Nothing is going to get past me on my…"

"Guys, watch out, you are about to step on a Happening Space!" Kasumi gasped.

"Q-Que?" Eduardo asked, blinking twice.

But it was too late as he stepped on a Happening Space. Then, a mini-Bowser appeared underneath him and grabbed him, lifting him up with a large amount of strength.

"H-Hey!" Eduardo yelped.

"It's cannon fodder time!" The Mini-Bowser smirked.

"Eduardo!" Vivian gasped before growling and igniting her hand in fire. "Let him go!"

But it was too late as Mini-Bowser threw him into the Bowser Cannon and closed. All Vivian could look in horror as the cannon aimed towards Mecha-Bowser Island before firing.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

CRASH!

The patrons on Mecha-Bowser island all looked in shock as Eduardo crash-landed on it. He groaned before sitting up while holding his head.

"Ay caramba…" Eduardo muttered. He then paused. "Huh. That's weird. I thought the fall would hurt more."

"Si, mi amigo. Quite a mystery."

Eduardo's eyes widened before looking down to see him sitting on top of Doctrine Dark's back as the latter grumpily drummed his fingers against the floor.

"Ack! I am SO sorry, Senor!" Eduardo gasped before getting up. "I didn't mean to land on you!"

"Well, whether you meant that or not, you did." D. Dark muttered, getting up while dusting himself off. "And because of that, I have only two words to say to you!"

Eduardo gulped, nervously. "And that is?"

D. Dark narrowed his eyes.

"Death Trap."

BOOM!

Unknown to everyone, while Eduardo was on top of D. Dark, the latter managed to find the strength to plant his more powerful explosive on top of Eduardo's back and as if his words were a trigger, the bomb exploded and sent Eduardo flying through the air screaming before falling out of the ring.

Eduardo landed in Animal Crossing: New Horizons where he traded potato recipes with the villagers. Due to Ludger already doing so in that elimination node earlier, Eduardo got a decent trade.

D. Dark let out a dark chuckle as he dusted his hands together while the patrons on Mecha-Bowser Island looked on in horror. Then, Peach glared at Bowser with a flaming aura around him while Bowser looked around.

"...Don't ask me to look you in the eyes, Peach." Bowser muttered. "I could already feel them drilling into my head."

Soon, Vivian finally managed to reach Mecha-Bowser Island, looking furious. "Hey! I saw that!"

"What? I am not someone who would just get over having a GIANT MONSTER crash into them that easily." D. Dark shrugged. "Sue me."

"You didn't have to eliminate him! And he is not a monster! He is an imaginary friend!" Vivian roared. "Want a monster!? Look in the mirror!"

"Sick burn, bruh." D. Dark snarked.

"Oh, that is it!" Vivian growled before igniting a flame. "Zelda, Terry, I will help you!"

"Terry's" face lightens up at this. "Nice one!"

Zelda narrowed her eyes as she summoned a ball of fire and sent it forward and had it explode.

Into Vivian's back. "Terry" and D. Dark jumped as the pink-haired pyromancer was sent flying out of the ring as well.

Vivian landed in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach. Needless to say, her Veil ability made it easier for Gregory to sneak around the mall.

"Terry" looked in horror before glaring at Zelda. "What the hell was THAT!?"

"I-I'm sorry! It has been a long while since I used Din's Fire so I am a little rusty!" The princess insisted.

"It is just ONE of your FOUR specials! How could you not use it for a long…" "Terry" started.

Then, the Bowser Time alarm rang and Mecha-Bowser Island started to shake.

"Sure, why not?" "Terry" muttered, throwing up his hands in frustration. "Not like we had much luck on this accused island."

With that, he, Zelda, D. Dark, Bowser and Peach started to run towards the central island. However, D. Dark tripped "Terry", sending him crashing onto his face.

"Oops." D. Dark sneered behind his mask before running off.

"Terry" growled before getting up. But it was already too late as the island started to sink with no chance to jump onto the central island. He then narrowed his eyes.

Before putting his hands back and emitting water from them, using them to boost himself onto the central island. However, the fighters didn't see this. The audience on the other hand did and looked on in shock.

"What the hell, man!?" "Terry" roared. "You nearly burned me!"

"Aw, quit bitching!" D. Dark taunted. "Like the lava would have killed you!"

"Terry" gritted his teeth before doing a Burning Knuckle.

(Dome; Super Smash Bros Locker Room)

Everyone looked at the screen in shock.

"Was that…?" Squirtle asked.

"MY Hydro Pump!?" Greninja exclaimed.

"And Zelda hasn't used Din's Fire in a long time?" Lucario asked in disbelief.

"That is the largest amount of bull I ever heard!" Ganondorf scoffed.

"What's going on!?" Ike exclaimed. "A situation like THAT would feel more at more in the Tournament of Kikai!"

"I don't know, but something tells me that I am NOT going to like it." Little Mac frowned.

(The Arena)

On Podoboo Island, Sonic the Hedgehog and Goro Majima both smirked before staring at each other. Then, Sonic crossed his arms before alternating kicking out his legs. Then, Only You by Intense started to play through speakers. Finally, Sonic started to breakdance. Majima then started to breakdance himself (with a purple aura surrounding him), making the crowd cheer after seeing the two mimic an iconic meme (accompanied by a catchy song).

The two then started to dance towards each other before kicking at their opponents, clashing their legs. Goro then spun around to kick his feet out, but Sonic flipped over the kick before doing an axe kick, but Majima guarded by doing a handstand and used his leg to block Sonic's attack. The yakuza then did another breakdance, striking Sonic multiple times and sending him flying away. Majima got up and ran after his opponent.

However, Sonic self-righted himself in mid-air and kicked his foot out just as Majima did a flying knee attack, causing the two attacks to clash. However, Majima was a little slow to recover from his attack, at least compared to Sonic and the blue-haired speedster spun around and kicked him in the head to send him sprawling around the ground.

Sonic ran after him, but Majima spun around him and kicked the hedgehog, sending HIM sprawling. Majima then sneered before flipping up and landing on top of Sonic's back. The speedster yelped before Spin Dashing in place and sending Majima crashing onto his back. The former groaned before getting up while holding his back.

"Ugh, how are you THIS fresh?" Sonic asked in disbelief. "You said it yourself that you were in the corner post since Section ONE!"

"You're the mascot of Sega! I may not seem like it, but I have a LOT of patience!" Majima sneered.

"Okay, fair. But surely you must feel a BIT of pain in there!" Sonic pointed out. "From a fighter being thrown in there or even a stray projectile. Surely, you must have felt the electric surge from Pichu at least ONCE."

"Yeah, it actually hurts a bit. It made me really want to get revenge!" Majima nodded. He then sighed. "But alas, Bat-Wings made me promise if I could hide in there, I would not come out or else I would be disqualified."

"...Tch. Whatever. You won't find ME slacking off anything soon." Sonic scoffed.

Majima's good eye bugged out at this. "Wait, did you say 'slacking'?"

"Um, yeah?" Sonic asked, blinking twice.

Majima then sneered before looking around for something. His eye lit up before running over to a Happening Space in front of the Podoboos and leaping on it hard. Then, a Mini-Bowser fell from the sky between him and Sonic.

"Gwa ha ha! Welcome, losers! I hope you're MISERABLE!" Mini-Bowser laughed. "You both seem like a lazy person, so you both are going to play a game for slackers!"

"Wait, loserS? Both? As in me too?" Sonic asked, blinking twice before pointing to himself.

"Of course!" Majima said, crossing his arms. "There is no gain making the game for slackers against a Mini-Bowser!"

Suddenly, both Majima and Sonic appeared on the pillar in the middle of the island. Majima didn't look surprised, but Sonic was freaking out.

"H-Hey! Wait a minute!" Sonic insisted.

"ThreetwooneGO!" Majima shouted with a grin.

With that, he shoved Sonic off of the pillar. The hedgehog yelped before falling towards the lava.

Only to quickly spin around the pillar, multiple times and creating a blue tornado. He then grabbed the pillar and started to spin up off it due to the tornado. That was not all it did as it managed a vortex of lava to rise up after Sonic. When the speedster reached the top, he then launched himself back onto the island.

However, the fiery vortex continued to spiral up and engulfed the pillar with a shocked Majima still on it. Sonic glared at the vortex, mad at Majima for pulling that stunt and got ready to punish him for his mistake with a Homing Attack. When the vortex finally subsided, he zoomed straight at Majima.

Only for Sonic to stop himself and land on the platform right next to an unconscious Majima. Blinking twice, he crouched down and curiously poked Majima's face, wondering if this was a trick, but no response.

"Seeing that most of the people here don't know about basic elemental priorities, I suppose I might as well enlighten you." Nine muttered from the Announcer's Booth. "When Sonic made the vortex of fire surround and trap Majima because of the tornado, the strong combination of wind and fire quickly drained all of Majima's oxygen in just a matter of seconds. Not even someone who could somehow stay inside of a corner post for EIGHT full sections could be able to stay conscious.

"Huh. That is an astute eye, Nine."

"Woah." Sonic said in awe before looking down at the unconscious Majima with a smirk. "Serves you right for trying to burn me, Majima."

With that, he grabbed Majima by the jacket and did a Spin Dash in place before using the momentum to throw Majima out of the ring.

Majima landed in Grand Theft Auto. Unfortunately for him, a rival gang swarmed his unconscious body with guns, bats and knives.

Unfortunately for THEM, he eventually woke up.

Sonic sighed in relief before looking in the direction of Sash Lilac to see her still dealing with Karin Kanzuki. Sonic smirked before jumping off and doing a Homing Attack into Karin's back, knocking her down.

Karin got up on her hands and glared behind her. "Oh, of course the second bully who likes going after the wooden puppet in a lava-filled arena."

"Careful, Sonic! She is really good at countering so don't attack head-on!" Lilac warned.

"Countering? Girl, there are more than five Smashers with counters." Sonic laughed. "I think I know how to face them."

"Hadoken!"

That was the sound of Ryu shouting out his trademark projectile while standing on the central platform. However, Dot Warner merely got out her tennis racket and used to hit it back at Ryu. The brown-haired man then made their way. Dot then ran over while wielding a frying pan, but Ryu thought quickly got out a spiked mace out of nowhere and used it to block the incoming strike. However, Dot made up for her mistake by zooming behind Ryu and hitting him in the back. The latter staggered forward.

"Tatsumaki Senpukyaku!" Ryu shouted, doing a spinning airborne kick. However, Dot was able to jump back to avoid Ryu's foot. But she didn't jump back far enough to avoid the electricity around Ryu's feet, causing her to get electrocuted, showing her skeleton. When Ryu was down, he did an axe kick to his stunned opponent, hitting her so hard that he flew up into the air. Ryu then leapt up after her to perform an aerial combo.

Then, Dot spun around while dressed like a ballerina, doing her own hurricane kick to Ryu, sending him crashing on the ground. Dot spun around once more, training her ballerina outfit for a swimmer before diving head-first into Ryu's stomach. The bearded man's eyes widened in pain as Dot got off. Ryu sat up while gripping his gut, but quickly raised his arms to block another frying pan strike.

"Shoryuken!" Ryu shouted, doing an electric uppercut to Dot's chin, sending her flying high in the air. Despite the hard hit, Dot's arms turned into wings before flapping them and flipping to fly back. However, Ryu jumped up in the air.

"Hadoken!" Ryu yelled, sending another energy ball. But Dot easily swerved her way out of the way out of the projectile. However, that was what Ryu was hoping for as he raised his leg up in mid-air. Then, the sandal of said leg grew to comical size and before Dot could react, Ryu spiked her into the ground, making an unsightly hole in the ground.

Despite this, Ryu narrowed his eyes, realising that he may have given Dot an advantage. This turned out to be true as Dot started to burrow her way around the platform. Ryu got back his mace and chased after Dot, trying to flush her out by smashing against the ground. Suddenly, a safe popped out of the ground just as Ryu swung, making the fighter lose his balance and fall onto his rear. The safe then opened up and Dot casually walked out while dusting herself off.

Ryu blinked twice. "Isn't that Bugs Bunny's move?"

"Well, it is in Multiversus, but while Bugs perfected the trap in a burrow, he doesn't own it." Dot corrected, wagging a finger. "Besides, it wouldn't be the first time someone uses another person's move here."

"ACHOO!" "Terry" sneezed on Rollercoaster Island and accidentally threw himself on his back while taking Zelda with him.

"You know, you should try changing up your playstyle." Dot offered, completely oblivious to "Terry's" sneeze.

"I could understand what you mean. However, while I should learn some new moves, I also strive to be a gateway for new fighting game players." Ryu answered.

"Well, if you wanna stay with the same moves, just remember to find ways to spice it up." Dot warned. "Not even I am immune to this."

Ryu blinked twice. "What do you mean?"

Dot winced. "Well…"

"ACK! What are you doing, you maniacs!?"

"What? Didn't you say that you could counter anything!? So let's put that to the test!"

Ryu and Dot's eyes widened before their eyes to see Sonic and Lilac dragging a kicking and screaming Karin by the arms over to a Happening Space. They then realised that it was the one in front of the Bowser Cannon for Podoboo Island. Then, three Mini-Bowsers grabbed each of them before throwing them inside of the Bowser Cannon.

Ryu's pupils shrank. "They wouldn't…"

"I mean it wouldn't be Sonic's first time being shot out of a cannon." Dot admitted. "Still, to go THAT far. Not even me and my brothers did something like that. Yet."

Ryu shook his head. "As much as I respect those two's chaotic way of fighting, it is also becoming a hindrance for other fighters."

With that, he then stepped forward with Dot raising an eyebrow. Then, Sonic, Lilac and Karin were all shot out of the cannon. Sonic and Lilac then turned into balls, striking Karin multiple times in the air. Ryu narrowed his eyes at this before jumping up in the air while charging up energy in his hands.

"SHINKU… HADOKEN!"

With that, he sent out a charged-up version of his Hadoken, managing to strike Sonic and Lilac multiple times while sparing the now-unconscious Karin, allowing her to fall onto the central platform. Sonic and Lilac were sent flying in opposite directions, but still managed to fall out of the ring at the same time, too stunned to try to get back.

Sonic & Lilac both landed in the Aquarium Park level of Sonic Colours. Particular inside one of the buildings. They both groaned while sitting up.

"Ugh, could someone explain why it is so rare for me to survive… I don't know. More than ONE section on these things?" Sonic grumbled.

"I know that you may not want to hear this, but I think this time, we got no one to blame for ourselves." Lilac sighed. "I think we overplayed our hand."

"Yeah, that is why Bowser Jr. didn't get a single elimination in the Tournament of Kikai despite doing so well in the Okron Tournament." Sonic admitted. "Tch. What's done is done. For better or for worse, we have more time to focus on my plan."

Lilac's eyes widened. "Oh, you are still going along with it?"

"Of course! We have to make sure that Pinocchio is on-board." Sonic nodded. He then smirked. "But until then… This isn't one of my favourite stages in Aquarium Park. But wanna race on it?"

Lilac's eyes lit up. "Do I ever!?"

With that, Sonic and Lilac ran off at blinding speeds. Then, a door opened up.

"Huh? That is weird," Azusa said, blinking twice. "I could have sworn I heard two people talking."

"Maybe we just missed them." Celica shrugged. "Come on, they couldn't have gone far."

Back in the arena, Ryu landed on the ground with a satisfied nod. He then turned his head to check up on Karin.

…Only to see Dot looking up while waving with a tissue. Ryu's eyes bugged out in realisation before looking up to see the unconscious Karin flying away on a stretcher accompanied by balloons. When the stretcher was over the ropes, the balloons immediately popped, dropping Karin into the elimination portal.

Karin landed in Megaman Legends. When she came to, she got into a Noblewoman's Laugh duel with Tron Bonne, much to the Servbots' disdain.

Dot dusted her hands together before looking up at Ryu with a smile. Only for it to falter when she saw him glaring down at her.

"Ohhh. You weren't just trying to stop those two's antics. You were trying to save your nodal companion…" Dot said before chuckling nervously. She then looked annoyed. "I already got three impressive eliminations! I think I could afford to get a clumsy one!"

Ryu groaned before slapping his forehead.

"Ex-Plosive!" Doctrine Dark said before setting down a stick of dynamite. "Terry Bogard" yelped before kicking it away, but this left him open for D. Dark to rush forward and get out his wristed blade and swung it at "Terry" a few times, managing to catch him a few times in the chest.

"Rising Tackle!" "Terry" shouted, crouching low and doing his upside-down uppercut kick to D. Dark's chin. The gas-mask wielding fighter crashed on the ground, but quickly lashed out his wire while "Terry" was still in mid-air, sending him spinning out of the way onto his back. D. Dark then pounced onto "Terry" with his blade out, but the latter was able to grab D. Dark and throw him over him. "Terry" then got up to attack D. Dark.

Only for Zelda to appear behind "Terry" and D. Dark, in a burst of wind, knocking both men back. "Terry" crashed into the side of the tower before shaking his head and glaring at Zelda.

"What the hell, Zelda!?" "Terry" snapped.

"Sorry, I was aiming for him!" The blonde girl insisted.

"Well, aim better!" "Terry" roared.

"Ooh, aren't we fussy, fussy, fussy." D. Dark taunted.

"Terry" gritted his teeth. "Power Wave!"

With that, he punched the ground and sent out a yellow energy wave at D. Dark. However, the dark-clad mercenary stepped out of the way.

"Dark Wire!" D. Dark said, sending out his wire again and snagged "Terry's" wrist. Then, a spark appeared on the wire. "Terry's" eyes bugged out before realising what was happening. Then, with his free hand, he grabbed the spark and managed to extinguish it.

D. Dark's eyes bugged out at this. "How did you manage to kill my spark!?"

"Terry" just smirked. "Dude, I was in the Final Twelve at the last tournament. It is not easy."

D. Dark narrowed his eyes. "Bullshit. Even if it is just for a second, I saw ice surround your hand. It seems that you've been stepping up your game."

Unknown to the three, Duck Hunt Duo were playing their way to Rollercoaster Island.

"So why are we getting involved with Terry and Zelda's fight again?" The duck asked.

"Easy. I was getting a little bored just watching other people fight so I think we should join the fight." The dog smirked.

"...I swear. If your hatedom doesn't get us killed…" The duck groaned.

"Relax. At least we are fighting with people we know AND we eliminated D. Dark before." The dog reassured as he finally reached the island.

Then, his dog perked up before his eyes bugged out.

"Yeah, I guess you are right." The duck sighed. "As long as you don't do anything stu…"

That was when the dog ran off and made the duck fall off, narrowly flapping his wings to avoid falling on the ground.

"H-Hey!" The duck explained.

D. Dark saw the dog running over and groaned. "Are you freaking kidding me!? The mutt who eliminated me at the Okron Tournament."

"Terry" turned towards the dog and his face lit up. "Ah, hey, boy! Came to…"

That was when the dog chomped down on "Terry's" leg.

"YYYYYOOOOOWWWWW!"

Zelda, D. Dark and the duck eyes bugged out as "Terry" hopped on one leg as the dog angrily bit the other.

D. Dark blinked twice. "...Alright, I guess the dog has SOME rights."

Soon, Terry managed to kick the dog off of him with the duck flying over to the latter.

"What's gotten into you!?" The duck scolded. "Why are you attacking Terry!?"

The dog glared up at the duck. "He ISN'T Terry!"

The duck's eyes bugged out at this. "Wait, what!?"

"Yeah, he smells like…" The dog started.

"Power…"

The dog and duck's eyes bugged out before turning his head to see "Terry" pulling his fist with a furious look on his face.

"GEYSER!"

"Terry" then punched the ground, resulting in a burst of energy which sent the dog and duck flying away with the latter too stunned to try to fly back.

Duck Hunt Duo landed in Wacky Races where the dog and Muttley snickered at Dick Dastardly's usual misfortunes while the duck just rolled his eyes.

"Terry" breathed in and out heavily with his face beet-red like that.

"What the hell!?"

"I NEVER saw Terry lose his temper like that before!"

"On the OTHER hand, I never saw the Duck Hunt Dog act like that before either."

"Yeah, weren't they on good terms?"

"Terry's" eyes bugged out before turning around to see everyone's eyes were on HIM. Kasumi and Peach looked absolutely thunderstruck and terrified by his actions while Lilly raised a suspicious eyebrow. Bowser rubbed his eyes to make sure what he was seeing was right while Ryu put his hand on his chin in confusion, trying to ponder the conversation. Dot tilted her head to the side and the Pyro… Was still doing backstrokes in the lava, completely oblivious to everything that had happened. Finally, Zelda crossed her arms with a raised eyebrow in an unimpressed fashion while D. Dark waved to him.

"Terry" gulped nervously. "Umm…"

Then, everyone was engulfed in the Millennium Star's aura, making him sigh in relief. After the same aura surrounded the crowd, all of the fighters appeared on star platforms.

Then, Dot's platform fell off. Then, D. Dark's. Followed by Bowser, Kasumi and Lilly.

"Well, Peach, I always knew that you were deceptively strong when you wished to be, but still you took me by surprise." Ryu smiled.

The princess smiled and blushed. "Thank you! Even though the elimination of that robot was an accident, I am still stunned that I managed to get two eliminations in my FOURTH section."

Zelda merely nodded her head. Then, her platform fell off. Followed by Ryu. And Peach. Leaving the Pyro and "Terry".

"Umm… Best of luck to you?" "Terry" asked, trying to hide his eyes from everyone with his hat.

The Pyro then spoke in his muffled way of speaking.

"Um, yeah, sure, sure…" "Terry" said.

Then, the Pyro's platform fell off. "Terry's" eyes bugged out in realisation. Him? Getting an elimination was one thing, but becoming the SUPERSTAR? He then saw the Millennium Star approach him with a warm face. He couldn't help, but smile back.

"Congratulations on becoming the Superstar." The Millennium Star nodded.

His face then darkened.

"...Ace from Street Fighter EX3."

Just like that, "Terry's" smile vanished as his pupils shrank in horror. He looked around to see the fighters looking up at him in confusion and bewilderment except for Zelda and D. Dark. The Millennium Star, Tumble, Ashley and Nine were all glaring at him. As for Drake…

"All I want to do…" Drake said, calmly.

He then growled.

"WHAT KIND OF TSUMUGI SHIROGANE BULLSHIT IS THIS!?"

Yas Princess Slay: Damn, I know that Peach had a chance to beat Steve/Vector's title of most eliminations altogether. But to be able to do it with TWO eliminations with the decent amount of fatigue she got is quite impressive.
