ATRIUM
12:05 AM

"Freddy's Mega Pizzaplex is now closed. Initiating Night-time protocols..."

"And then we can go to Fazer Blast, and then the Fazcade!"

"Uhh... Sure? I don't really know what you're talking about but-"

"Oh my gosh, I almost forgot! We have to introduce you to the DJ! And the Daycare attendant too! This is so exciting!" Chica yelled, jumping in place as they moved past another escalator.

Dreadbonnie continued to walk, sighing in annoyance. He really wanted to explore the building at his own leisure, but now he was constantly being babysat, First by that mechanic, now by Chica. Thanks to his better hearing, he heard that the other animatronics were going to join in later too.

So caught up in her excitement, Chica seemingly hadn't noticed that Bonnie was still walking. Maybe he could get away before she noticed? He didn't want to be mean but figured that if he wanted to be in a comfortable position, he'd have to. Being a solo gig was meant to be his thing anyway.

After muttering a slurred "Sorry." in her direction. He quickened his pace, almost making it to the elevator before something yellow and white jumped into his face, causing him to nearly fall backwards.
"WHAH! Wha- What the?"

"HI. PLEASE TAKE THIS MAP." The bot said in a dull tone, shoving a Fazmap in Dreadbonnie's face. Bonnie restabilized his footing before looking down at the bot in confusion.

"Wha-No! I don't want your map! I just wanna- move!" Dreadbonnie yelled, attempting to shove it out of the way, the bot instead swiftly moved backwards before getting in Dreadbonnie's face once more.

"MAP. FREE MAP."

"I told you I don't want a map! Just..." Dreadbonnie immediately turned around, thinking the commotion to have alerted Chica to their presence.

"Wait, Huh? Dreadbonnie where did you- Aha!" She yelled, finally looking in their direction.

"Damnit." He whispered, slouching down as he heard her skip towards him.

"There you are! I was wondering where you went- Oh hello Mapbot!"

Mapbot remained still, continuing to shove the map toward Bonnie.

"Wait, you know this thing?!" He asked, confused.

"Yeah! He helps people around by giving maps out! This place is kind of big..." She scratched the back of her head, while Dreadbonnie continued to look between the two in disbelief.

"Are you serious?"

"What? The building is kinda large-"

"No! Not the building! This...Whatever this thing is. Are you telling me that this thing's entire purpose in life is to aggressively hand out maps to people?"

"Yup! It's pretty cool, right? Makes sure everyone knows where they're going and nobody gets lost."

...

"I-...Whatever just give me the map." He rolled his eyes and snatched the map out of Mapbot's hand before walking away, seemingly leaving it content.

"THANK YOU, PLEASE ENJOY."

Chica watched as Mapbot rolled away, stationing himself next to the Elevator. She waved the bot goodbye before turning towards Bonnie, who was staring at the map's contents while leaning on the glass railing. The map was quite frankly, terrible. With no labels and no directions, it looked almost indecipherable.

*Just great... My one chance at exploring this place at my own leisure, stolen away by a bot on wheels who gives bad maps to people.*

"So, where do you wanna go first?" She asked him, gaining his attention once more. He immediately looked away, desperately trying to remember all the locations she was talking about earlier. Yet, He couldn't think of anything and the map definitely wasn't helping.

*Damn it! Why didn't I pay attention? God, I'm such a moron.*

"Ummm... I-I mean you seemed pretty excited about visiting all these places! Why don't you pick?"

"Hmmm, Okay sure! How about we go to the Daycare and meet Sun? He's always nice and I'm sure he'd love to see a new animatronic around here."

Bonnie nodded his head vehemently as Chica grabbed his hand again, happily dragging him towards the elevator. He closed his eyes in relief, glad to have to dodged that bullet. He glared at the Mapbot as they passed, before coming out of view. As soon as he did, he ripped up the map he was given since it wasn't helping.

"Soooo, Anything I should know before meeting this...Sun guy?"

"Oh, just make sure the lights don't go out! The Daycare attendant gets a bit annoyed when that happens, especially after the new security systems they've put in."

"Huh, weird thing to get mad about but okay...Sure."
"Also! Here, try this."

Chica placed a can in his hands, he could hear the gas inside building up. He'd be lucky if he was able to open it without it exploding in his hands.

"What is this?" He asked in confusion.

"It's a Fizzy Faz! I figured I'd grab you one while I was explaining what we could do!"

Dreadbonnie turned the can around and, sure enough, It was a pink-lemonade Fizzy Faz. His automatic scanner immediately scanned the contents

"SCAN COMPLETE: CALORIES: 200. SUGAR INTAKE: 500g."

*...Well If Chica can eat pizza, I don't see why I can't drink some Pink Lemonade.*

Looking at Chica, he saw that she was staring at him, looking back between the can and his face, waiting intently for him to try the soda. Giving in, he took a swig, and surprisingly, he could somehow taste it.

His first thoughts were "Sweet." It definitely left an impression on him, leaving an aftertaste that wouldn't go away for a good while.
"Huh, it's...pretty decent honestly. Can all of the animatronics taste things like this?"

"Yeah! It was something about making us more human to appeal to more audiences. I guess enjoying the Pizza Party with kids is much more engaging rather than watching them eat."

The Elevator dinged, allowing the duo out. Dreadbonnie followed Chica out before being distracted by the large palm trees and the Giant golden Freddy statue.

*Sheesh, flex your money more why don't you?*

Still following Chica through the Daycare entrance, they finally passed the charging station and went into the Daycare. Dreadbonnie was immediately caught off guard by how big it was, as well as the two golden statues in front of them.

"Jeez, you know when you said Daycare I was thinking something a bit more... How should I put this, 'Daycare Like?' This looks like someone had waaay too much money at the office and decided to blow it all onto one giant Playhouse for their children."

"That's what keeps people coming back! They can leave their kids here and the Daycare attendant takes care of them while they go have fun!"

He took one look at the walls and the slides everywhere, he felt out of place here, especially once he saw the 'SLIDE INTO FUN!' Rainbow surrounding the kid's entrance. Something about him didn't like this place, and it was beginning to show.

"Um... B-Bonnie? Are you okay? Your teeth are showing."

"Huh? Yeah, i'm fine. It's just... The walls and the music. It's just too...Bubbly and cheery. I kinda feel out of my element here." He said with a slight hint of disgust, Chica looked away, maybe this wasn't the best place to start.

However, just as Chica was about to suggest they go somewhere else, Dreadbonnie started walking forward toward the stairway.

"Huh? W-Where are you going?"

"Going to go meet this 'Sun' or whatever his name is. You said he's the Daycare attendant right?"

"Well, yeah but-"

"Then he's gotta be around here somewhere. You can follow me if you want."
"Wha- Bonnie! Wait!" She yelled while chasing after him.

Elsewhere...

"And then he mocked me! Like, who does that Bunny think he is?! He's a newbie, and yet he's talking down on me like " Roxanne shouted as Lesley did her hair, nodding her head along as she got to work. She knew they'd received a new member of the band recently, and her co-worker Evan had been tasked with performing tests. But, it seemed like this 'Dreadbonnie' had left a big impression on everyone.

"I know Roxanne, I know. Now hand me the screwdriver so I can have a look at those systems of yours please." Lesley knew telling Roxanne that she kind of asked for it by essentially calling Bonnie ugly, but decided to keep her mouth shut. After all, it was just a bit of teasing on his part, but Roxy seemed to have taken it personally.

While Monty had become more easily agitated after the new parts were installed, Roxanne had become more emotional, constantly asking for reassurance and praise. It first came off as her being a narcissist, but over time Lesley learned that Roxanne was just unsure of herself and was constantly caring about her self-image because of it.

"What? Are you gonna look at my systems again? I thought I told you, I'm fine Les." Lesley rolled her eyes at the nickname, it was something everyone would call her often, even when she told them not to.

"Uh huh, Just lie down Rox, It won't take long."

"Ugh, fiiiine." She whined while lying down on the couch, burying her head in a pillow. Lesley used her screwdriver to open her back compartment before connecting several wires to the sockets.

"I-I am the best... Nothing is gonna change now that he's here...right?" She asked, looking for reassurance.

"Yes Rox, everyone still loves you. Just because Bonnie teased you slightly doesn't mean you're automatically worse than he is."

Roxanne stayed silent for a while as Lesley continued to work, before looking back slightly.
"Right, I'll teach that Bunny who's the boss around here."

Lesley gave Roxanne a thumbs-up, before getting back to work. Looking back at the screen that told her the diagnostics, she furrowed her eyebrows in frustration. The system still displayed as normal, despite the very obvious behaviour change from all the animatronics. No matter what Lesley tried, it would always look the same.

"Rrrgh, Nothing. Maybe it's the personality chip that malfunctioning? No, it can't be..." She talked to herself.

"I told you so." Roxanne held up her hand in triumph, her words were muffled by the pillow.

"Yeah yeah, you were right again Roxy." Lesley admitted while removing the wires from her back and placing them into her toolbox. "I just don't understand why your personality has changed, everything was the same on both the inside and outside." She whispered to herself.

"I'm always right Lesley, I'm the best." Roxanne gloated, Lesley sighed while packing up the rest of her tools, frustrated with her lack of progress.

*I'll have to talk to someone about taking one of the animatronics to parts and services, just for a day. Monty's missed a few shows and destroyed a few staff bots due to his anger issues, Chica seems much more food addicted than usual to the point where I've seen her eat from the kitchen garbage a few times just to find that Monty mystery Mix and Roxanne cares way more about her self image than before... What is causing these changes?*

She shook her head, it was a question for another time.

"Alright, since I've finished checking up on all of you, I'm going to leave for today and see how Evan's doing."

Roxanne gave a wordless wave as she got up, sitting back down at her vanity.

Lesley closed the door and passed through the rope barriers, however, as she passed she could hear bumping in the vents.
"Damn it, I need to contact that AC company again. What was their name again? Low-budget building inspectors or something like that?"

Sighing in annoyance, she continued to walk. Her mind wandered back to Dreadbonnie and his behaviour, she knew he had the latest in animatronic components as well as a new show mode that affected his ability to scare patrons, but the fact that they essentially recreated Bonnie instead of retheming the Bowling Alley for another character as discussed was strange, especially since his casing and personality chip was lost when he disappeared.

Before she knew it, she had finally finished her elevator ride and was walking towards the exit. However, A vibration in her pocket prompted Lesley to look at her phone, seeing a text from Cross.

"Hello Lesley, Dreadbonnie is prone to walking away from conversations and wandering due to the 'Curious' trait in his new personality chip, Evan spent most of his time looking for him in Fazbear's Fright. Could you please look into this at some point and maybe find a way to counteract his Errant Behaviour? Thank you, Cross."

Lesley smirked, Cross always seemed to treat texts like medieval messages, although it might just be to look professional. Either way, she was interested in Dreadbonnie's so-called 'wandering' since she wasn't aware of an animatronic that liked exploring that badly.

"I'll look into it tomorrow, while I'm at it I'll tell Evan to stop being such a big baby too."

Closing her phone, she opened the door and left towards her car, fiddling with the keys in her hand, before she can leave, she received another text. They were blueprints, of Dreadbonnie's chip and how it worked.

"Damn it, now I'm gonna be up all night studying this because I don't know any better." She complained.

Back at the Daycare...

"D-Dreadbonnie wait! We can explore somewhere else if you want!" Chica yelled, catching up to Bonnie.

"I said it's fine Chica, I'm gonna have to meet this guy eventually right?"

"B-But you said you don't like this place! Are you absolutely sure you wanna?"

"Chica. This is the third time you've asked me, I'm fine. Honest."

She still looked unsure, Dreadbonnie sighed in annoyance before walking past her, prompting her to hurriedly follow after him.

"Listen, I'm sure everything will be fine, okay? There's nothing this guy can do to make me hate him, the worst he can do is like... I don't know, be extremely annoying or something."

"Well... Fine, but I want to introduce you two! I know you three can be really good friends."

"Yeah yeah...Wait, You three? What do you mean-"

"AAAAND We're here!" Chica yelled out, ignoring him while skipping towards a giant wooden doorway. Bonnie threw an eyebrow up at it, confused by the size, but dismissed it due to everything he's seen so far being almost comically large and expensive.

Chica knocked on the door happily and waited, leaning in, Bonnie could hear crashing and banging from the inside.

"Hmm, Maybe they aren't home?" She asked.

"Nope, I hear stuff inside so unless some kid snuck in here after hours, I think our daycare attendant is having a bit of trou-"

The daycare door suddenly swung open, barely missing Bonnie and Chica. And out emerged the Daycare attendant, Sun. Dreadbonnie stood back slightly, caught off guard by his appearance, he didn't expect him to be a literal sun based animatronic.

"HELLO FRIENDS! What brings you to the Daycare? And so late at night too!" Sun yelled with a permanent grin on his face, his bells ringing loudly. Dreadbonnie gritted his teeth at the loud noise, finding it incredibly grating to his sensitive ears.

"H-Hey Sun! I'm glad to see you're doing well! So, I wanted to-"

"Wait, hold that thought! I have something for you!" He yelled before ducking back into the daycare door, followed by more banging and clanging. Chica looked back towards Bonnie, bearing a confused stare. Dreadbonnie simply shrugged, as if to say "Don't look at me, I have no idea what's going on."

Eventually, the attendant returned with a small piece of paper in his hand, he held it up in the air sky before gingerly placing it in Chica's hands. Dreadbonnie tried to get a glimpse of it, but was unable, eventually settling for leaning against a nearby wall until further notice.

"One of the little rascals here today asked that I bring this to you before she left, isn't it just adorable?"

Chica smiled widely, it was a drawing of her and a small girl holding hands with cake in the background. There was text below it written in crayon with some of the words being misspelt, reading "Helo Chika, your my Favorite!"

Everything about the drawing was correct for her, she loved every part of it. She debated on whether she should respond with a picture of her own. But decided against it, mainly because she thought she could never own the talent this child had.

"Aww, this is definitely going on my wall. Riiight next to the mirror, for sure."

"Ah, now that's dealt with, what did you need me for? Would you like some Fizzy Faz or perhaps another one of those crayons you like to use from time to time?" Sun asked, bouncing about happily.

"U-Uhhh..." Chica looked up at the sky, trying to remember what she was doing beforehand. What was it? Was she here for-

Dreadbonnie fake coughed loudly, bringing both animatronics attention to him.
"Ah! Right, sorry. Sun, this is Dreadbonnie!"

Sun didn't move, staring off blankly.
"Um, Sun? Are you okay-"

"OH NO NO NO! This won't do at all!" He suddenly screamed before rushing in Bonnie's direction.

"AH! What is everyone's problem with getting in my face?! I know I did it first but-"

"What have they done to you, Bonnie?! With these stitches, the vest is completely torn... And are those fake blood marks?!"

Chica's attention perked up, she hadn't noticed that before, but sure enough, there was some red underneath one of the fake stitches. Sun began circling Bonnie like a shark, pointing out each unsafe thing about him with a stern look on his face.

Chica was beginning to realise how much of a mistake this was.

"H-Hey, Sun? How about me and Dreadbonnie just-" She tried to intervene.

"Hold that thought. Bonnie, open your mouth." Sun demanded, arms curling and twisting before expanding, almost like they were stretching.

"Wha- why? It's not like I've got rabies or something! This is just how-"

"I Need To Check Something."

Dreadbonnie rolled his eyes and shook his head before opening his maw, he had no clue what was happening. However, he was kind of amused by the attendant's reaction as he stood back in horror.

"OH NO! Why are your teeth so sharp? No no no! You need to get this sorted out now!" Sun grabbed Dreadbonnie by the shoulders and began to push him towards the stairs, Chica ran close behind to keep up.

"S-Sun? What are you doing?"
"Get off me, you dumb idiot!"

"No! I will not allow such horrifying looks in my daycare! You will not set foot in this space until you are presentable for the kids! I'm putting you in timeout."

*TIME OUT?! I'm not a god damn-"

"NO CURSING!"

*Are you kidding me?! This was a massive mistake... I should have just gone to Fazerblast, it would've made everything so much easier.*

Dreadbonnie looked back, Chica was frowning heavily, she looked embarrassed. The giant mechanical door opened and both Chica and Dreadbonnie were forced out, with Sun standing guard at the entrance.

"I have no idea who gave you that makeover OR who thought it was a good idea, but I suggest you go and talk to Lesley so she can fix whatever is wrong with you. Goodbye!" He said with his happy tone returning to normal as he closed the door, leaving both animatronics bewildered.

...

"Well, he was a jerk. Whatever." Bonnie said while walking away, causing Chica to follow behind with her head hung low.

"I-I...Bonnie, I am so sorry! I didn't think he'd react like that!"

"Nah, it's cool. I should've listened to you the first time, that place is not my cup of tea."

"B-But it was me who even suggested it in the first place! I didn't think ahead and it got you banned from the daycare!" Chica ranted, throwing her arms up slightly.

"Chica, it's cool. Really. I don't plan on going back there anyway, that guy freaks me out. Plus the bells he wears are annoying."

She looked at his face as they passed by the bathrooms, he was very clearly annoyed. She screwed up, and the result was this.

"... It's still not right." Chica said to herself, yet Dreadbonnie still heard her.

He sighed before stopping at the entrance, crossing his arms.

*I can't believe I'm about to do this.*

"W-Why'd you stop? Is it-"
"You said I owed you a Pizza earlier, right?"

...

Chica's face lit up slightly, and Dreadbonnie grinned knowing he hit the jackpot.

"Well, Y-Y-Yeah but-" She tried to protest, before being stopped.

"Then let's go find one, on me. We can't be all gloomy forever and you having this guilt is just gonna slow us down so..." Dreadbonnie said while walking forward, motioning for her to follow. He didn't see it, but he knew he managed to raise her spirits slightly as she skipped over to his side with a smile.

"Alright... but I want to get it for you, Not the other way around!" Chica demanded, causing Bonnie to throw his hands up.

"Alright, Alright! Whatever floats your boat."

Being satisfied with the answer, Chica began to let her hunger fuel her as she ran to the Elevator with Dreadbonnie close behind. However, as they began their trip back to the atrium, Dreadbonnie began to check the worker records.

He's heard that name before... Lesley. Looking further, he learned that Lesley was the animatronics' head mechanic and maintenance worker. She's been with the new Fazbear LLC since the franchise was rebooted and seemed to know the inner workings of the animatronics quite well.

Dreadbonnie was more interested in the inner workings part, perhaps he could learn a few things from her? He was always up for new experiences as long as they were interesting enough so...

"La la, La la la Laaa~" Chica sang alongside the elevator music albeit out of key, causing him to shake his head.

"Well, aren't you happy? Do you enjoy the Pizza here that much?"

"I just like food! There are so many flavours I haven't tried yet! And so many different foods to test! I almost can't help myself whenever I see new stuff to eat."

"Huh, that's..."

DING

Dreadbonnie's sentence was cut off by the elevator ding, and the atrium music poured into both their ears. Chica immediately rushed out before Bonnie could even speak again.

"Wha- CHICA! Where are you going?!"

...

No answer. Dreadbonnie considered walking away like he originally planned, but shook his head. He stepped out...

And got immediately tackled by Mapbot again.
"GAH!"
"PLEASE TAKE ANOTHER MAP."

"OH COME ON!"
