Chapter 9 Good gesture gone wrong
During the week Ash practiced for her gig and she was really excited. Johnny being the supportive boyfriend that he is rooted for Ash and believes that she will do great. Johnny even helped her with her song in any way possible. "I can't wait until your performance on Saturday, it's going to be great!" Johnny said excitedly. "Thanks Johnny it means a lot for you to say that," Ash said as she and Johnny kissed. Since Ash stopped talking to her parents she was a lot happier. Her parents however were still very upset that they failed to convince their daughter about her life choices. "What are we going to do now Frank? Ash blocked us so calling and texting isn't going to do us any good if we can't get a hold of her," Robin stated as she and her husband were at their wits end. "I don't know what to do either Robin. That girl is hard headed. Who knows where she gets it from" said Frank.
All of a sudden they both got an idea at the same time and figured out a way to put their plan in action. Meanwhile Johnny was at home about to go skateboarding when he saw that the mail came. Johnny went through his mail which was mostly junk mail when he found a coupon for a free massage at a new massage parlor that just opened. "Oh wow this is great" Johnny thought to himself before we went skating. On his way to the skate park he got a call from Ash. "Hey babe is everything ok?" Johnny asked as he answered his phone. "Hey sweetie I wanted to let you know I nailed the song I was practicing but I'm stressed out at the same time because it took me forever" said Ash. Johnny didn't like the idea of his girlfriend being stressed out so he went over to Ash's place. "Johnny, I'm happy to see you. I didn't know you were in the neighborhood" exclaimed Ash. "I was on my way to the skate park when you called me. Since you told me you're stressed out I want to give you something that I think you'll need more than me" Johnny said as he gave Ash his coupon for the free massage. "Really Johnny I can have it?" Ash questioned. "Of course baby. Your show is the day after tomorrow and I want my rock star princess to feel relaxed and stress free" Johnny told Ash resulting in a big hug from his girlfriend.
Ash thanked Johnny for the coupon and planned on going to the massage parlor the next day. When Ash arrived at the massage parlor she turned in the coupon to a lady working at the front desk. The lady told her to wait for the next available masseuse or masseur. When it was time for Ash's massage Ash felt so relaxed. Ash's massage was interrupted because the police showed up. "What in the world is going on here?" Ash questioned as she wrapped herself up and wondered why the cops were at the massage parlor. "Young lady we were called because a fake coupon was turned in which is illegal and we were told you were the one who brought in this coupon. Please get dressed and come with us, you're under arrest" said one of the police officers. Ash got dressed quickly and at the same time she was freaking out. While Ash was being escorted by the cops out of the massage parlor Ash's parents were walking down the street and saw what was happening and followed the police car that Ash was in wondering why their daughter was arrested.
