"Throughout Jazmine's pregnancy did you ever talk to her?" Huey asked.
James just looked down at the floor and stayed quiet.
"With the amount of stress, you were going through without having her in your life, I have a strong feeling you've seen Jazmine," Huey strongly leaned towards her.
"What makes you so sure I actually went to go see her?" James asked.
"Giving from your story, it seems as if your sources didn't want to have anything to do with providing you information on Jazmine. Sure Tyrone and William told you anyway but it's not as if they were going to fulfill you on any more details," Huey explained.
"I had another source," James added.
"And who would that be? Unless you had someone else at the school or hospital who knew about Jazmine's pregnancy, I highly doubt they would benefit you and what you needed to know about Jazmine," Huey denied unphased.
"Actually this one did benefit me and what I needed to know about Jazmine...she was very helpful," James smirked.
"Then who was it?" Huey asked curious to hear.
"I'm pretty sure you know her by now, but it was the one and only, Ebony Brown," James answered causing Huey to look taken back.
"Ebony?" Huey questioned in disbelief
"Yes, Ebony, you know the black lesbian woman who took Jazmine in when she was at her lowest?" James reminded.
Since I was under the influence that Jazmine wasn't doing well I decided to lay low. I debated a couple of times about going to go see Jazmine but I put the idea on hold for the time being just to focus on myself.
As I stated before, Jazmine was having me go crazy thinking about her and I couldn't take it. Tyrone wasn't wrong when he said I was getting to be more obsessed than worried with her. Because he was indeed correct about that.
I didn't want to admit it to myself but I was becoming obsessed with Jazmine. When Tyrone made me self-aware of this I started to slowly notice.
Whenever I would be talking to women, I would specifically go for the ones that had big curly hair, lightskin, and either a skinny or thick body. It was rare to find any that came close to Jazmine's looks.
Jazmine had a very unique appearance and nobody could match up to her looks.
They didn't have her hair or eye color and sometimes the hair on their heads would be fake. Everything about them would be fake. It's as if they try to have her appearance.
I was at my penthouse in my room with a guest. I didn't know her name but I met her at the bar. The woman looked almost like Jazmine. She had strawberry blond hair but it wasn't curly or long like Jazmine's. Instead, it was straight and down to her upper back.
Instead of having green eyes like Jazmine, she had blue, and unlike Jazmine who had a body type that would be considered fat during this time period, the woman had the body of a model.
She was gorgeous, but she wasn't enough! She was only here to fill my little sorrow.
She was naked in bed with me and also on top of me. Ever since William told me that I could be the father due to having unprotected sex with Jazmine, I started to wear condoms every time I had sex.
If he was to be right then I would put myself in a worse situation. Unlike Jazmine, these women would actually try to come for my money. If you look at my clothes, car, penthouse, what I order, and what time I come into places you can tell that I have a high-paying job.
No offense to the child, but I would not be looking forward to paying child support. They take unnecessary money out of your pocket and there's no telling what the mother would spend it on. If the mother has a job and the child is staying with her then she should also have enough money to support the child without me having to give up 20% of what I make every month.
I know I still would have a lot of money left over but I could have used that other part for something else. I can support the child without the mother forcing me into child support, but as I stated before I don't want to have to pay money for my child and the mother.
The women I sometimes sleep with are obviously no good on some occasions. You can look at a woman and tell they're just going to use the money on themselves instead of their child.
It's sometimes sad when the system is like this. They should make it to that the money is only being spent on the child and the child only. Nothing more and nothing less!
Now, don't get me wrong, there are some fathers who do need to be placed on child support simply because they don't want to be involved in the child's life. I've seen men come to the hospital with the worst intentions for the mother and child.
You would think some of them would be excited to see the birth of their child but they're really there for the DNA test. It's nothing wrong with taking a DNA test but sometimes it doesn't always have the best outcome.
Of course, the mothers at times get upset when the possible father decides to do this. It's one thing if the mother cheated on him with multiple men and there was a possibility that the child could be either of those men the mother has messed around with.
Or the man and woman can have an unhealthy and untrustworthy relationship going on. Sometimes the men just assume the woman did something behind his back even when she hasn't. The nurses usually have to kick out those types of men when they're delivering because it puts the mother in a bad state to give birth.
I hate those types of men because it just gives others a bad name in general. But honestly, I fear that I would be one of those types of men to do something like that.
I wouldn't bail on Jazmine but at the same time, I feel I would cause a lot of trouble if I were to try and be involved with her.
Would co-parenting really be in my favor if I'm doing it, Jazmine?
I think Jazmine would be a great mother if she haves the babies but I don't know if I would be a good father. I have never seen a good example of how a father should treat their children. All my friends had toxic parents who either ended up getting a divorce or staying in an unhappy marriage just to make their kids happy.
When it came to the dads, they were either too involved with work, did drugs, were abusive, were in jail, or were completely absent with no excuse. I think my problem would be I'm too involved with work.
That's what Jazmine implied to me whenever we had our conversations about the future. She always said I worked too much and that I just needed to take a break or settle down. But I don't have anything to look forward to if I were to settle down. I don't have any real hobbies and sitting in my penthouse all day is boring.
Maybe if I did have a kid I would have something to focus all my attention on instead of work and fucking random women every week. I could stay up all night, change diapers, teach them how to walk and talk, see them do things for the first time, and get to be part of their memories as they grow.
That all seems pretty interesting! The thing is Jazmine doesn't think I could handle that type of responsibility. Now that I look back on it, whenever we talked about our future together she always seemed a little unsure about it. It's as if she didn't have faith in it.
"Are you about to cum?" the girl asked still moving her hips.
I didn't think too much about it until I started to focus on her.
"Umm not yet," I said a little unsure. At this point, I should have been cumming but I wasn't feeling it. I lost interest to have sex with her.
"Ah, I see you are a challenge, doctor," she smirked and started to go faster.
I didn't know what to say. I wanted her to get off because I wasn't feeling this. I can't just flat-out tell her to get off because then that'll seem rude. And I also don't want my business to be out in the streets that I can't perform.
I know I'll most likely never see this woman but it could be possible and I don't want the situation to be awkward. Maybe I can make up an excuse like I have to go to work.
How could I do that if my phone is not going to ring anytime soon?
I could pretend like I got an email...yeah, I'll just go with that excuse.
I gripped her hips and then started to stop her hips from motioning. "What's wrong?" she asked a little concerned. "Nothing, I just have to stop and go check my emails," I lied.
"For what?" she asked confused and a bit annoyed.
"From the hospital and possibly other doctors," I somewhat lied.
"Why do you need to do that in the middle of sex?" she asked awaiting an answer.
"Because it could be a possible emergency," I said.
"Okay, but what if it's not an emergency?" she said not dropping it.
"Then it's a long-ass report I have to look into on a patient," I said before lifting her up off me. I got out of bed and slid on my boxers before I headed downstairs. The small space where I did my studies was in the living room.
I rushed to my computer and logged in, hoping I had some emails. Surprisingly, there was only one. I usually have way more than this.
The one time I want a bunch of emails blowing up my inbox I can't get that. The girl came down wearing one of the shirts I had on when I brought her to my place.
"Mhm, it looks like you only have one email to answer," she said looking at my computer. I turned around a little and asked, "Can you please give me some space, just for a second, this might be very important?"
"Umm sure," she said a little taken back before she left. She went into the living room section and plot down on the couch. She sat there bored and just decided to turn on the tv.
I looked back at my email and decided to read who sent it to me. "Ebony Brown" I mumbled.
Who is Ebony Brown?
We'll just have to find out. I started to read her email that stated:
Hello Dr. James Anderson,
I'm emailing you today to discuss an idea for the cure for AIDS/HIV. I run a nonprofit organization in West Virginia that helps people with a rare terminal illness called Patterson's Disease. Since the start of it, we have helped a lot of people. And I want to continue doing that.
Recently, a friend of mine found out she has AIDS/HIV and I want to do everything in my power to get rid of this disease. I realized a lot of people are starting to get this and I would like to promote a cure and prevention of it.
I'm asking if you would like to join my team so we as doctors can work together to stop this epidemic. I travel to other countries to find these types of cures and I would love for you to join so you can be part of something greater.
Thank you,
Ebony Brown
What the hell kind of email is this? Why would this Ebony Brown email me specifically about AIDS/HIV?
She ran a nonprofit organization to help with Patterson's Disease. I heard of it but it's uncommon. It's something I've never looked into. Not that I didn't care it just didn't catch my interest. As she stated herself that it was a rare terminal illness. You didn't see it as much.
But, seriously, how does she connect me with AIDS/HIV? Nobody suspects it that much from me. I know that I came up with quite a few cures, but other doctors have as well.
You would have to be a drug dealer to know that I have the cure for AIDS/HIV. That's why someone like Tyrone came to me. He probably heard from one of his street friends about my medicine.
There's no way in hell people just hear of this out of nowhere. Ebony Brown here doesn't seem like the type to be involved in the streets. Especially if she's running a 'nonprofit organization'. This woman has to be rich to be this considered a rare disease.
And a team of doctors? She hasn't even mentioned none of these doctors' names. Plus not that many doctors are out going to step out of line to find the cure for a disease. I already did this before.
Doctors out of the country know this and have the natural material to stop this. But most of them are dead because the government doesn't want this type of stuff getting out.
I kept rereading Ebony's email because something just wasn't making any sense. Like how did she get my email, how did she know to email me, why does she specifically mention a popular disease, why is this so rushed, and most importantly who told her about this?
You might think my name gets around but it doesn't get around as much as you think it does. Something isn't adding up because no doctor does this. You know, matter of fact, is she even a doctor?
Before I decided to send her any messages back, I had to do a background check on Ebony. Something about this wasn't right! I could feel it in my stomach that this was a trap.
I contacted one of my friends who's involved in the criminal justice system and asked him to do me a little favor. I had all types of friends that owed me favors!
I simply sent in this information not long after this and waited until I got the results.
"You did a background check on Ebony?" Huey asked.
"Yes, indeed, that's one of the reasons I was able to win my case against Jazmine when we were battling for custody over Nicholas," James pointed out.
"Really, so what did you find on Ebony, and how did you know that Jazmine was with her?" Huey asked as James smirked at this.
"Oh, I found quite a bit on Ebony! One of the reasons why adoption agencies never gave Ebony a child is because of her criminal and health history. I didn't want Nicholas to be around a baby killer," James exposed.
"The fuck!" Huey mumbled. "Anderson, you know good and well Ebony is not a bad person at heart, so why even take Nicholas from her? He wouldn't have survived if it wasn't for her and Nichole," Huey exclaimed.
"Oh, bullshit Freeman, we all know that if it wasn't for my medication which Ebony and Nicole were purchasing from ME, Jazmine wouldn't have had a healthy pregnancy," James emphasized.
"Healthy pregnancy?" Huey hugeously disagreed.
"Yes, healthy, that's why the twins weren't harmed," James denied.
"They could have been harmed! They wouldn't have survived not only because of Jazmine's disease but the fact that you were clearly harassing her which affects her mental health. Pregnancy isn't all just about physically being okay, there is also mental health that plays a big factor. You should know as a doctor to not put a pregnant woman under so much stress," Huey angrily exclaimed.
"Freeman, I did not harass Jazmine," James lied.
"Really, so you expect me to believe that with all the information you were getting from Tyrone, Dr. Charles, and Ebony, you didn't personally approach Jazmine yourself? By the way, what did you do after you met up with Ebony? I know you did because Ebony told me herself that she met up with you to discuss the disease," Huey asked.
Ebony and I agreed to meet at Al's Steakhouse. I suggested the one in my area because I wanted to see how down-bad Ebony was. Would she really drive 3 hours from West Virginia to come to talk to me about AIDS?
In the email, she didn't seem like she had a problem with it, but I just wanted to see if she would actually do it.
We've sent emails to each other and eventually exchanged cell phone numbers to talk to each other. She would talk about other cures, but she kept specifically emphasizing AIDS/HIV the whole time.
I arrived at Al's Steakhouse early to be seated instead of waiting to be seated. I wanted to get this over with because I knew what Ebony had to offer me was bullshit. The only reason I came here is to get a field day out of this.
I knew she was coming here to discuss Jazmine. That has to be the only reason why she specifically emailed me about this disease. No one knows about this except for Jazmine, Tyrone, and a couple of dealers. Other than those people they should have no idea that I know the cure for AIDS.
Again, I don't think Ebony would get involved with drug dealers and Tyrone gets medication from me so he shouldn't be having health problems. The only possible answer would have to be Jazmine.
There are so many connections between Ebony and Jazmine.
For one, they both currently live in West Virginia, two, William stated that there was a lesbian couple that came in with Jazmine to check on her ultrasounds.
I also found out Ebony is a lesbian who is looking to adopt a baby. She's been turned down by quite a few agencies so at this point she is just desperate to get a child. I think she'll do anything just to have a baby. That includes most likely taking in a pregnant woman who is Jazmine.
Jazmine is sick with AIDS and the babies could possibly not survive if they don't have proper care while in the womb. So, in order for the babies to survive, Jazmine has to have some type of medication or treatment to get her through her pregnancy.
Ebony, who will do anything to make sure those babies survive is coming to talk to someone like me who has treatment. The only right answer here is Jazmine.
I requested a bottle of wine along with a glass cup because I had a lot on my mind. I did not need Jazmine overclouding it with my meeting with Ebony. I needed to stay clear and focused. I cannot let her get the best of me. I already know what she's looking for and there's no way in hell she's going to get it.
Damn this woman is driving me crazy!
I started to pour some of the wine into the glass cup and was going to fill it up halfway but I didn't want people to think I was an alcoholic. So, I toned it down to a little bit below half.
I took small sips to ease away the stress and relax. I cannot let Jazmine bother me, I cannot let Jazmine bother me. She's a worthless bitch that has no value in this world and she is the prime example of apple tree. She is sick and not doing well so you shouldn't be bothered by it.
Peace in mind, peace in mind!
I kept repeatedly pouring me a glass of wine to ease off the stress. It got to the point where I was beginning to get tipsy. I know it wasn't good, but I didn't feel like dealing with this.
I was here to just have fun, right?
Speak of the Devil, I stopped a black woman approaching my table with the waitress. I assumed it had to be Ebony because she looked like she could be an Ebony Brown.
What white person do you see with the last name Brown? Not many I assume!
"Here is Doctor Anderson!" the waiter spoke with excitement as I had to regain my focus point.
I smiled and then stood up from my seat hoping I wouldn't be wobbly.
"Hi, you must be Ebony Brown," I racially assumed holding out my hand. Again, do you know of any white people whose last names are Brown? I feel it's an accurate pinpoint!
"Yes, we talked over the phone," she said unsurely shaking my hand. Something was off about her.
"It's nice to meet you," I said before I stopped shaking her to go pull her seat out for her. I might be here for the wrong reasons along with her but I'm still a gentleman. So, I'll treat a lady the right way!
She sat down in the seat and as I scooted her in she said: "Thank you!"
I rushed over to take a seat and then I scooted myself in.
"So, over the phone, you said you wanted to talk about possibly cures, is there a reason for that?" I asked starting it off.
"Yes, I believe I need to exploit myself into finding other cures, and you're so successful that I thought I could get advice from you," she said as I wanted to laugh a second.
I had to keep my composure and not give in so soon.
"It's not as easy as it looks, I have to do tons of research just to find the preventatives," I truthfully spoke.
"Yes, I know," she said a bit uninterested. She was again forcing an act. I might be a little tipsy, but I can see bullshit as clear as day.
I decided to be petty and ask: "If you don't mind me asking, what does your organization do again?"
"My organization," she was able to say until a male waiter came to our table.
"Hi, my name is Marcus, I will be your waiter, can I get you guys anything to drink?" Marcus said introducing himself.
"We already have wine, unless you want something different," I said looking towards Ebony.
"No, the wine's fine with me," she assured.
"Okay, well would you guys like to put in your order?" he said as Ebony looked at the menu. She started to seem taken back by what she was looking at and I figured it was because of the prices.
"You can order whatever you'd like it's on me," I assured her. If all my male ancestors had seen me not pay for a lady's meal I would have been looked down upon.
It would make sense because I'm pretty sure I make more than Ebony.
I can burn some cash off of me, it's not going to hurt.
"Okay," she said a bit shocked.
"I'll just get your chicken parmesan," she said ordering the cheap stuff.
Marcus looked at her in doubt of her order and just wrote it down on the notepad. "Okay, and you sir?" he turned his direction towards me.
I looked at the menu before Ebony arrived, so I had time to think about what I wanted to order. "I would love your bone-in ribeye and shrimp cocktail," I politely spoke closing my menu. Since it's one of the most expensive dishes on the menu it had to be good. There's no way a restaurant would screw up the dish that's in the name of the restaurant.
"We'll be right up with your orders," Marcus said before walking away to the kitchen.
I looked back at Ebony and asked: "Would you like a glass of wine?"
She didn't order anything to drink and she was eventually going to get thirsty. I drank way too much wine for my own good, so I didn't mind sharing.
"Sure," she surprisingly responded. I thought she was going to turn in down.
I gently grabbed one of the empty glasses and started to pour an appropriate amount of wine for Ebony. She didn't look as if she would drink a lot so I didn't pour as much.
I handed her a drink and she said, "Thank you!"
To resume our conversation before Marcus came to take our orders, I asked, "So back to my question, what cure does your organization do?"
"My organization helps people with Patterson's Disease," she answered.
"Patterson's Disease...that's something you don't hear," I truthfully spoke.
"Have you heard of it?" she asked hopefully.
"I've heard of it but I've only seen one or two people in my life with the disease, so it's very uncommon," I explained.
"Yeah," she said with a little realization of how her disease was unimportant.
"So, what disease are you trying to find a cure for next?" I asked wondering what she was going to say.
"I'm trying to find a cure for AIDS," she quickly answered I was taken aback. A doctor who found a cure for Patteson's Disease is trying to find a cure for AIDS as if it's just that easy.
"AIDS?" I questioned to make sure I heard her correctly.
"Yes, I feel like the sexual disease is killing a lot of people and I want to find a cure to help people," she explained. Yeah, no shit Sherlock, who doesn't want to help people? We all know this is a deadly disease that kills people, it does not need to be restated on the possible outcomes.
"Well, Ebony, AIDS is a hard disease to find a cure for," I stated.
"Do you possibly know the cure for AIDS?" she stupidly asked. This bitch was serious! I can't believe she just asked me a dumbass question like that. She is literally blowing her cover.
Let's see if I can push it out of her a little bit more.
"I don't know maybe I do, maybe I don't!" I said twirling my wine glass around before taking a sip.
"If I did know I would have helped a lot of people," I somewhat lied.
"You don't say," she said giving off a weird vibe as if she knew something.
Okay, I can't play any more games with her, I gotta ask her! She's doing terrible and this is getting nowhere.
"Yes, so why don't you tell me the real reason you wanted to meet up with me Ebony?" I seriously asked.
"Real reason, what do you mean?" she asked trying to act brand new.
"The real reason you're asking me about the cure for AIDS, specifically," I emphasized.
"I'm asking because a friend of mine had got it and she could possibly die from it," she said giving up her whole cover.
Okay, now I know she is here for Jazmine.
Jazmine recently got this disease and she could eventually die from it.
"Really, and would this friend of yours happen to be Jazmine DuBois," I guessed. I looked very closely at Ebony's body posture to see if she would break, and she indeed did. The first thing I saw in her eyes was fear. She got caught!
"I've never heard the name before, it's a friend of mine I"ve been knowing for a long time," she tried to cover.
"Bullshit...I know you came here for Jazmine," I said calling her out.
"What makes you think I would come here for Jazmine," she said exposing herself even more and again proving my point.
"Let's see, you drove almost three hours from Virginia to speak with me about cures, and you specifically point out AIDS, and you say a friend of yours has it," I exclaimed.
"So what if I did come here to talk about Jazmine and her disease?" she rhetorically spoke, admitting what she was initially here for.
"Then I say you wasted your time and gas, I'm not helping that bitch out," I said calling Jazmine out of her name.
"Excuse me but watch your language," she said snapping at me as I laughed at her.
'Watch your language!' I mimicked it in my head. This had to be Jazmine here fucking with me. She probably told Ebony that I had the cure and she sent her to talk doctor to doctor with me.
Hell, I don't even know if I would like to consider Ebony a doctor! I say more of an amateur scientist than a doctor who cured an unthreatening disease.
"I don't know why she would send you up here to talk to me. I'm not changing my mind unless she agrees to my terms," I said shaking my head.
I grabbed the bottle of wine and started to pour more wine into my drink. It was to the point it was about to be filled to the top.
Jazmine was beginning to feel like a tumor in my life. Just grows and becomes more aggravating till it kills you.
"She didn't send me up here, I came here on my own terms to ask you myself, She's pregnant and depressed, and you're taking her life away, the least you could do is cure her," she corrected me.
"I'm sorry Ebony, but I can't do that, not after all she's put me through," I said shaking my head.
I brought her into my home, bailed her out of jail, gave her money, took her places, cut off my parents, and talked about a future with this woman she lives me for a sorry ass nigga.
No way Jose! I'm not falling for that shit again.
"What has she put you through that you had to give her AIDS?" she seriously asked.
"That fucking worthless bitch made me fall in love with her and come to find out she was using me the whole time. I don't think she felt anything while we were together," I exclaimed.
"What made you think she would feel anything, she was with Huey and she loved him," she said making my blood boil. I just had flashbacks of what Sarah had told me when she was in my apartment.
"You see this is the thing I hate about women when it comes to their choice of men. They always go for the poor and worthless men that's not going to get anywhere in life and they can't even notice the good things in front of them," I said speaking the truth.
I know I was right, it happens all the time. Huey is a man who can't be fixed. He's already fucked up enough.
"But you have to be dumb to not notice that she was in love with Huey," she said.
Bullshit...she only knows part of the story. If she had seen how Jazmine was on my part she would say otherwise.
"Yeah but the guy couldn't even provide for her. You should have seen the house they were living in. He didn't deserve her! She would be starving and have bad hygiene whenever she came to work, it was just sad to look at," I said looking down on Huey's character.
I despise men like that, no matter what their color is. If you can't provide for a woman you don't need to be with them. You should focus on yourself and get everything together.
That's how men are taught in this society. It's a shame if a woman has to pay a bill or do anything financially. That's what the man is for!
"You have to understand they were teenagers that were entering the world," she said trying to defend the two.
"And teenagers that should have been smart about their decisions," I carelessly spoke. With all the money and support in the world, Jazmine just couldn't fucking listen to Tom and Sarah.
"Yes, but why won't you help her? You know you'll hurt her child as well right?" she asked me.
"I know, but it's better for her not to be in the child's life. A woman like that doesn't deserve to live, she's just like her mother if you ask me," I truthfully spoke.
No child deserves to have a slut of a mother.
"Ok, but I don't think the child will care if Jazmine has AIDS. I feel it is important for the baby to grow up knowing their mother," she said.
"What about the father?" I asked.
"Excuse me?" she said looking at me funny.
"You know she's keeping me and Huey out of the baby's life right?" I said making her self-aware.
"I'm well aware, but she might possibly want to have Huey in the baby's life," she said as I wanted to laugh at the thought of that.
Having that bum in her life, I wouldn't count on it.
"How would you know if the baby is Huey's? From what I've recalled, they were barely having sex around her conception date and she was with me," I exposed.
I was the last person Jazmine had sex with. I know she and Huey weren't doing it because they were busy for the past couple of weeks trying to save up money for their license.
"It can still be Huey's," she said denying me being the child's father.
I didn't know if I should expose to her that Jazmine was having two children, but that would let her know I'd been spying on her.
"Or it could be mine," I corrected.
"No!" she denied.
"You know if the baby is mine, me as the infant's biological father, I have the rights to the child, and you won't be able to adopt it," I informed as her whole face went down.
Ebony looked as if she was frightened of me. She knows I have the right to take the baby away. If Jazmine ends up dying then I'm next in line.
Wait, why am I even considering this if one, the children might not survive, and two I don't even think the child is mine?
"The baby will be in a two-parent household and Jazmine said she would sign the right's over to me and my wife," she said informing me.
"Yes, but I also have rights, and in today's society, your same-sex marriage isn't legal, and nobody wants kids raised by same-sex parents," I seriously spoke.
"And if the child is mine, I'm going to make sure he or she comes back home with me. I highly doubt Jazmine will I've any longer afterward," I said. I had no intention of my possible child being raised by lesbians. Something about that wasn't right in my head.
"For your information, Jazmine is healthy, and she'll have more of a say than you will since she is the carrier," she exclaimed. As soon as she said Jazmine was healthy, my heart skipped a beat.
She's healthy?!
How could this be?
William told me she wasn't doing good. Those nurses up there never give him accurate results.
Could it be possible they were actually right about Jazmine's health?
If Jazmine is healthy, then those babies will survive along with her.
And if she's still healthy afterward, she's going to try and go back to Huey.
"Your food is here!" the waiter came up with excitement.
"We'll like it go, I have to get back to work, and she has to go to another meeting," I immediately spoke catching the waiter off guard.
"Okay, I'll just have to make sure you pay before you leave," he said while I rolled my eyes. I pulled out my wallet and pulled out a couple of 100 bills to put in his pocket.
I didn't know how much it was, so I just gave him enough to cover the wine, meals, and tip.
"That should cover everything and keep the rest as a tip," I said patting his pocket.
"Okay, I'll go get your to-go boxes," he said before leaving. Since he's got his tip, he's going to make sure our food is good to go.
I had to get the fuck out of her!
"And when Jazmien is still living and the baby is born and if it's Huey's she'll go back to him because I don't think she'll want the father of her child out of his or her life," she said as if it was a promise.
That means Jazmine has had thoughts about coming back to Huey.
"You know the reason she left Huey is because she has AIDS and she doesn't know who the father is right?" I reminded her as she seemed unfazed.
"I know, but it'll be a relief when the baby is his," she said with so much sureness.
"Well, even if it is his, she wouldn't want to go back to him because ever since she left he's been sleeping around with a. bunch of women that look almost like her," I exposed to Ebony.
I wasn't wrong! Huey has been sleeping around with a bunch of women. I even spotted him a couple of times with some of them. It's this one lady who aspires to be a doctor and she comes to the hospital from time to time to sport the nurses and doctors.
Whenever I looked at her, she looked like Jazmine but with a different skin tone. She looked like the actual black version that Huey would want. I didn't know if the two were a thing or if they were just messing around.
"I think she'll bypass that," she denied.
"Yeah right, you haven't met Jazmine, she doesn't put up with any of that stuff. She might as well stay with her new man instead of going back to that crackhead ex-husband of hers," I said as Ebony had given me an odd look.
That's sad to think I feel Tyrone is a better match for her. The dude might have been a pornstar but he could pay his bills and not have to worry much about money.
"Excuse me!" she exclaimed.
I said too much, I had to leave before I said anything else to blow my cover.
Right on time, Marcus came up with our meals packaged, "Here are your orders," he said sitting it on the table.
"Have a nice day!" he waved goodbye.
"As I said before Ebony, I'm not curing Jazmine, for all I could care, she can die tomorrow and I'll celebrate it at happy hour," I carelessly spoke getting up from my seat. I grabbed my food and was going to leave but then I decided I wanted to fuck with Ebony even more.
"Enjoy the last couple of months with her...if I were you I wouldn't get attached," I truthfully spoke before leaving.
I swear on my life, that bitch will be fucking dead in no time! I was going to make sure her life was fucking hell before she decided to leave this earth.
She was living too peacefully to be comfortable with what she had done.
If one of those kids happens to be mine I was going to make sure I take them back home with me. I was going to have to call up some friends of mine to help me prepare a case.
I wasn't going to leave on a peaceful note. I will raise fucking hell just so she will see how her consequences affect her and the people around her.
I'm now going to pay Jazmine a little visit!
"After you found out she was healthy, you decided to purposefully harass her to death," Huey said shaking his head.
"Well when you put it that way you make it seem as if I was obsessed," James said crazily.
"You are fucking obsessed! Jazmine left you alone and didn't contact you for anything. It was you who was fucking around with her," Huey exclaimed.
"Freeman, all I did was give the bitch a taste of her own medicine," James said angering Huey.
"Anderson, you got one more time to call Jazmine out her fucking name. If you do it again we're not going to talk like mature adults," Huey warned giving James a slight feeling of fear.
James couldn't make his fear visible to Huey because then he wouldn't be able to fuck with him. He had been doing it this whole time and slowly angering him. He would do it again but the look in Huey's eyes was promising.
He felt as if Huey would actually hurt him without a thought to what could happen afterward. He could put him in jail if puts his hands on him.
"Freeman if you touch me, you go to jail, and ruin your name, do you really want to take that path? Calling Jazmine out of her name will not get me anywhere, so if I were you I would drop the death look, you're not going to do anything because you know the law as I do," James reminded.
"Keep talking and you'll find out for yourself how serious I am Anderson. I'm at a point in my life where I don't have much to lose, and I will gladly go to jail over fucking you up," Huey sternly spoke making James' heart skip a beat once again.
"Bullshit, you don't have it within you Freeman. You don't even look like the type to kill," James tried to laugh off as Huey glared him down. Huey didn't say anything which scared James.
Normally he would respond, but he didn't. This let James know he did not play when it came to Jazmine.
