A different and unique type of chapter not only is it a "short" one but also this chapters goes over the entirty of week 3 and the next chapter will be the start of week 4.
Stranger Danger: Class 1A
The next day came and went, once again the class was back in the common room. the class were talking among their groups the girls were discussing the weird discrepancies of technology in this world toru explaining how the people here are still using flip phones and things like that they don't even have satellite coverage or GPS going by what Jackie told her, which shocked jiro and mina because child emperor clearly had a device similar to GPS to track monsters popping up around Y-city, mineta even commented about how the games King's plays are mostly retro games even for their world and 2D. He hung loosely attached to the girl's group to get away from the guy's well, only two in particular being Koda who seemed to keep stealing glances his way and Sato who would occasionally make the odd comment every now and then.
Bakugo, kirishima, and kaminari were in the corner of the room just eating and discussing various topics kirishima would go on and on about how cool and strong his teacher was often prompting a sharp response from his explosive friend but kaminari would often respond with his own stories about his own teach that weren't as positive if he was being honest drive knight often freaked him out especially since he looks like a villain more than not kirishima rebuffed him saying that so does gang orca so he shouldn't judge a book by its cover like that, kaminari knew that but something about drive knight through him off. He got the feeling that he was secretive even more than someone would guess they were and not to mention the talk of capturing monsters to experiment on them to create stronger weapons, for what? he wondered often. He was already one of the strongest hero's around so why would he need to be even stronger. While kaminari was in thought kirishima focused his attention on bakugo who looked incredibly annoyed for some reason he was looking around the room almost like he was scanning for something or someone.
"Bakugo what are you looking-"
"Hey, I know you're in here, come out!" he yelled as he stood up and started to look around the room fully, causing all eyes to turn towards him in surprise, momo questioned what he was talking about before midoriya almost snapped into action shooting out a black whip towards a dark corner of the room near the door but once he reeled in what he had picked up he only found a weirdly shaped log.
"What is that?" uraraka said as she examined the piece of log it had what appeared to be a face on it.
"A substitution." a soft feminine voice said in almost a whisper, she practically emerged from the shadow of the large tv landing on the ground with barely a sound, surprising everyone having several of the class jump in surprise while others got into a battle stance in front of the stranger who seemed relaxed even with the half the class trying to threaten him. There was for all intents and purposes a ninja in front of them covered in all purple garb with a silver headband.
"Why are you sneaking around like a rat?" bakugo snarled
"Yeah dude, totally not cool." kaminari said from behind bakugo
"I was testing one of your members' instincts, most of you I realized are dull in that regard, but two of you show promise. If I were here to assassinate you , a lot of you would be incredibly easy, "dude"" the ninja said, her last word being more towards kaminari who yelped and hid behind bakugo fully. Momo finally fell out of surprise and recognized the individual.
"Shadow ring? I-I didn't expect you to meet me here." Momo said hesitantly, snapping her classmates' attention to her instead of the new individual.
"You know this guy?" Jiro commented, chuckling a thumb towards the stranger, she nodded her hand in reply.
"She is my new instructor." emphasizing her first word to get the point across. Making Jiro apologize.
"Wait she? That's a gir-" mineta was cut off by a slap from tsu's tongue
"You failed your first test. I see we will have a lot to work on." shadow ring went on looking at momo as the class began to relax, except mineta who was wiping his cheek.
"Isn't that somewhat unfair? How was she supposed to know you were going to be sneaking around?" Jiro defended.
"You should always be alert no matter the situation. If you let your guard down or grow to lax it could spell your death." she replied steadily, almost automatically.
"She isn't wrong there. The others might be clueless but you ain't getting one up over me." bakugo said with a cocky smirk.
"I have been here for some time now, actually over an hour since the first of you got here." she replied calmly making bakugo smirk turn into a scowl. Kaminari snickering next to him about to pat his shoulder.
"She sure got you there, Mr. ace detective." kaminari said before zipping up as bakugo glared at him.
"I must have lost focus, especially since you could sense my presence. And almost caught me. My training must be lacking" she said, turning to midoriya.
"Noo-no, you're fine, let's just say I have a knack for sensing people's emotions when kacchan called you out, that surprise allowed me to locate you." Midoriya replied, waving his hands in front of him before rubbing his hair with his right hand.
"All the more reason." she simply replied
"You made this log appear in your place? how ?" Toru asked excitedly?
"Ninjutsu." was the only response she gave.
"Are you gonna elaborate on that?" Mina asked when it became apparent that she wasn't going to speak anymore.
"No ninja are not supposed to reveal the secrets of their techniques, unless that is if you want to die.." she stated. Mina and toru both gulped in response and said nothing else as shadow ring began to walk towards the door.
"Meet me in training room 26." were her final words as she walked out the door. After a brief moment of silence, Kaminari was the first one to speak up.
"Woah man they got a bonafide ninja here."
"We have edgeshot back at home, doofus." Jiro replied.
"Nah, nah not like that he's got the ninja aesthetic down but he isn't a ninja, ninja. If you get what I mean, the dress colors, demeanor, and ninjutsu she used, she's the real deal."
"That's so cool." Kirishima stated.
"I guess it's to be expected, with samurai still being around in this world as well." ojiro commented.
"And dangerous, those that lurk in the dark and strike when you least expected can be powerful allies but also dangerous foes." Tokoyami stated.
"Kinda like you huh tokoyami?" Tsu said with her finger on her chin, causing a couple of chuckles from the girls and only a nod in return from the bird headed teen. The rest of the time was spent mostly talking about the untimely arrival and what momo would do with her, momo mostly decided to pick her for training due to the absence of the three swordsmen with sero, she was curious what the girl would teach her.
Go ninja, Go ninja go: Yaoyorozu , Shadow ring
Once saying goodbye to her friends momo made her way down towards the training area, sifting through all of the room numbers. Finding the designated room and walking slowly inside what was in there didn't surprise her; it looked like a traditional kendo arena she remembered being brought along for demonstrations as a child. She didn't see anyone in the area but going off how shadow ring introduced herself she assumed that this was another test of hers. she slowed down her pace even more while scanning the room for anything that would indicate where the ninja would be, she constantly kept second guessing herself thinking she saw something out of the corner of her eye moving in the shadows or what she thought would be the ninja in question only to be some ordinary object apart of the scenery.
She had felt that she stepped on something before whatever it was wrapped around her leg and pulled her upwards up off her feet and hanging her upside down before she could even let out a screech of surprise from the sudden trap she was silenced with a bamboo sword forcing her jaws closed, she was surprised and relieved by the familiar appearance of shadow ring in front of her.
"You were so focused on searching for me that you ignored your surroundings." she said stoically. Momo shook her head in disbelief before looking down at what held her feet in the air; it was razor thin wire wrapped around both of her ankles, it was attached to a wire that momo traced all the way back towards shadow ring herself. Was she holding her up with one hand? Was she located on the ceiling when she first came in? The first of her questions was answered as shadow ring displayed a piece of wire she held in her hand, she pulled slightly lifting momo slightly higher in the air before dropping it and letting gravity completely take momo down, thanks to the height she fell from she had some time to create a cushion to fall on her side.
"That was rude." she remarked.
"I wanted to test your reflexes, I assume that was this creation ability of yours's Yaoyorozu." Momo was at first surprised by the revelation that she would know her name but figured that drive knight might have just told her instead.
"Yes, I can create anything that I know the molecular structure of." she responded.
"You sure are forthwith of information, it would be to your detriment if someone were to become your enemy in the future." she simply replied.
" I don't believe being paranoid of everyone would help me in the long term besides for the information to truly be helpful they would need to know all the things that I could make." Momo reasoned.
"Indeed it is a fairly variable ability, I assume you need skin to properly use it given your costume or lack thereof." gaining a slightly flushed face from the girl.
"Yes, my quirk only works with my skin so clothing restricts it. I wouldn't choose to dress this way if not for that." Momo was quick to defend herself.
"Do not take it the wrong way, dressing in more revealing clothing can be seen as a benefit in combat, to throw your opponent off guard someone with your…. disposition it can be used to great effect especially against men." Momo's face lit up like a Christmas tree at the girl's inclination thinking back to just a day before where such a tactic did in fact come in handy but she wouldn't want to fight like that normally if at all preferably.
"I…I understand." she said, fumbling with her words a bit and looking away from the ninja. Before the sound of movement caught her attention as she hurriedly caught a bamboo sword that was thrown her way.
"Driveknight said you wanted to practice your swordsmanship. Come at me like you want to kill me." momo didn't like the way she phrased that but she got the message behind it don't hold back similar to her first time with stinger, she gripped her sword with both hands holding it out in front of her before charging forth performing a vertical cut down words which was blocked by shadow ring, she tried again this time using a feint and attempting to cut horizontally but was again blocked, the exchange continued this way before momo attempted a thrust before getting parried and disarmed to her surprise shadow ring continued on with her counter attack but was stopped before the strike reached her face and pulled back.
"You….where is your weapon?" shadow ring said, momo looked perplexed.
"What do you mean? You disarmed me." momo said, pointing towards the sword a couple of feet away from them. She seemed to deflate at that answer, her body becoming more relaxed and the sword in her hand falling towards the ground.
"I assume you've heard of the saying your body is your weapon, in your circumstance that saying goes double. You are never without a weapon." shadow ring said before picking up her sword again and getting in stance but when momo got up and proceeded to her discarded sword shuriken's struck in front of her path. Making the girl snap back at the ninja with a worried gaze, shadow ring returned with an expression that momo couldn't decipher. She thought about the last things she said and understood what she wanted. Quickly from out of her arm, momo started to create a bamboo sword, as she finished shadow ring nodded at her actions before bracing for momo to continue, they exchanged swords again before momo was disarmed again but unlike last time where shadow ring stopped she continued on hitting momo in the shoulder before she could create another sword throwing her towards the ground
"Faster. Even a millisecond of time can lead to your death. " shadow ring said as she waited for Momo to rise. Easy for you to say was what momo thought as she created another sword and charged at the ninja again.
Bunny Season: Koda, child emperor
Koda was currently traveling towards Y-city with Mina and Jiro to go and look at the captured bunnies again. He was constantly being teased by mina over his interactions with the new female mineta which often made the quiet to sputter and squirm in place, often sitting that it wasn't true or how his actions seemed out of his control but mina never bought and kept teasing him lucky jiro was their to reign the girl in somewhat and pull her off him and the group began to talk about more of the reason he was traveling with them today.
Koda had revealed to the two girls that he got permission from metal bat to go and travel with them throughout the following weeks to go visit the bunnies as long as he fully commits and doesn't complain about his training with the hero in boxing. The memory itself triggering a small reaction for koda rubbing the side of his face where the large bruise from yesterday could still be felt as a dull pain, the action causing both of the girls to worry for their quiet friend, they knew he wasn't much a fighter even when training in class or in combat he was a scout and distractions expert, to be placed under a guy who was the complete opposite mentally and physically could be a problem for him but to their surprise koda waved off their concerns, he wanted to do more and be more helpful to his classmates and he also wanted to help those monsterfied animals in child emperor's lab no matter the cost. Hearing his commitment to the cause moved both girls, Mina even had the energy of hugging the large kid making him blush.
The group finally made it to child emperor's lab and entered inside, the group was greeted very similarly to how normally our child emperor would return mina's and jiro's upgraded equipment having been working on fine tuning them to the two girl's specifications.
"I assume you're here for the bunnies?" child emperor said, pointing a thumb over to the cage. Koda gave a Kurt nod and made his way over to the exhibit which windows de-polarized in response making it see through, there he saw all of the large bunnies scattered about the exhibit. He also saw some claw and teeth marks scattered throughout the cage.
"They get restless sometimes and start to attack the cage and sometimes even each other." child emperor remarked as he came up behind him.
"Maybe they just have some excess energy to let off." koda suggested. As he placed his palm in front of the door.
"Have you found a place for them yet?" koda asked
"No and there are no guarantees there ever will be as they need meat to survive and in the environment we placed them in could cause a disturbance being an invasive species especially if they multiply." child emperor said as he slightly chuckled to himself remembering a time where he tried to feed them normal rabbit food and they completely shunned it and threw it at the glass.
"I see." koda began to use his anivoice
{Hello}, the bunnies in their cage began to squirm more before turning towards the glass and seeing the strange one again.
{The one with the….piercing sound..has returned.} one of them said this one had a large tuft of fur sticking up from its back rather, a sign of its status or just an aggressive posture koda did not know.
{Sorry, How have you all been doing?} Koda say's politely, trying to come off as friendly in case they're body language suggests hostility.
{Why…do you care…human} another said this one didn't have any fur on top of its neck like the previous but instead held wavy layered back hair.
{Just checking to see if you're ok and that he's treating you alright.} koda replied, no reply came forth just a bunch of what he could assume were snorts or snickers. Before the one with the large tuft of fur spoke up again.
{Yes…trade one cage…for another.. We are truly..free…happy} the one he assumed was the leader at this point said, its voice coming off as serious but undoubtedly sarcastic.
{Humans..lies..say we go free … but still…here..trapped} another bunny said hissing at the end .
{it's just going to take some time.} another round of snorts.
{maybe in the meantime we could do something else, what do you guys like to do?} the bunnies, seemingly stopped and looked towards each other and began whispering amongst themselves.
"Hey koda!" Mina screeched next to him, making the boy jump a bit.
"Me and jiro are about to head out for patrol, wanna come with?" mina said, he gave a hesitant look back and forth before shaking his head.
"No, I'll stay with them, I'm trying to make them more comfortable in their stay." Koda managed to say.
"Aww well isn't that very kind of you." Mina said, tapping him on the shoulder.
"Well I'm sure if we need help, child emperor will let you know." jiro said and koda nodded in understanding. After the girls left, the bunnies finally came out of their huddle.
{We…wish..to…go..outside} the lead bunny asked, making koda grimace, he knew such a request was probably the first thing they would think of to ask but it would undoubtedly be the first one to be denied by child emperor but he figured he should ask anyways. He turned to see where the child emperor had gone off to and spotted him some meters away working away at his computer, koda hesitantly approached thinking of how he should phrase the question. He got within a few steps before he made his presence known by coughing, gaining child emperor's attention as he spun around in his chair.
"Well have you figured out why they are so antsy?" child emperor asked.
"Well , they are feeling…somewhat claustrophobic and they were asking if they could be let..outside." Koda said, failing to meet child emperor's eyes as his hands fiddle with each other. He raised his eyes to meet the child's and the look in them told him all he needed to know before he spoke.
"You know I can't let that happen, they're still monsters after all, you can't trust them."
"Yeah, I know," he said, seemingly deflating in front of the child's eyes. Before he turned his chair back around and continued with his work but before koda could walk away, he continued
"I'll make a larger enclosure for them near one of the windows, I'm sure I could simulate something outside for them." all the energy began to rush back inside koda.
"Really? Thank you, that would mean so much to them." koda said before walking back over to the bunnies in the cage.
{well bad news, he doesn't trust you enough to let you guy's outside BUT he will create something for you guys just like it ok, just wait some more.} there were a bunch of murmurs going on inside the cage but he couldn't tell what after some time the bunnies began to just laze around, he tried to open conversation with them again but they mostly ignored him or give short responses which suggested to him that they didn't want to speak anymore so he let them be. Child emperor took the teens' new availability to have the teen test his new voice amplifier and test out how it works and to name some adjustments that he may need.

Graperush : Aoyama anything?!
Last hope : I haven't gotten a chance to talk to him yet.
Grape rush: why!?
Last hope: He's currently rehearsing for some play and asked not to be disturbed.
Grape rush: and you're honoring it?! With my life on the line!?
Last hope: you're being a tad dramatic don't you think?
Graperush: no this is literal torture especially with the guy's in class starting to act weird, I swear I saw even shoji sneaking glances at me.
Last hope: are you sure you're not just paranoid, you ain't that cute.
Grape rush: first off ow, second everyone seems to think so like koda is essentially glued to me if we are together and people on the street keep making passes at me, it would be one thing if it were at least girls but like 99.9999% of them are dudes.
Last hope: well you'll just have to wait.
Grape rush: WHY! Just send him a text or something
Last hope: if he says he doesn't want to be disturbed then he gets it, I'm not going to risk it.
Graperush: risk?
Last hope: I mean ….he just really respects privacy it's one of his core principles. I'll let you know if something happened.
Graperush: ok…
2hrs later
Last hope: Ok..good news, he offered an ultimatum and if accomplished then he can probably squeeze the meeting in next week.
Grape rush: good I'll do anything what's the challenge.
Last hope: well he wants us to practice a demonstration for the interview to showcase our abilities.
Graperush: that seems easy.
Last hope: well he wants it to be an acrobatic showcase, a show of skill and precision. To make a long story short it's….a lot of steps. I'll go over it with you in person later.
Grape rush: ok…how long do we have to pull it off?
Last hope: he wants it done at most 5 days from when the interview would be held, which is next Friday, which gives us until Sunday to get everything together. He said he may give us until Tuesday if some plans change.
Graperush: Alright Sunday, got it.
Somethings wrong: Class 1A
The days came and went on the class third week in the strange new world that they found themselves in, mineta and aoyama were working closely together to perfect their performance not only for mineta's sake but also to not look like fools on public television. The two would often have a spectator however in the form of koda, mineta would often ignore how the quiet teen would stare at him, he would bring him things to appease him like food and drinks and all around was incredibly friendly with him even when he would try and dissuade the teen by reminding him that he was still a guy at heart and that he was a guy but it seemingly didn't matter to koda, who insisted he was fine just to be around him for the time being, mineta also noticed that other people in his class began to change around him shoji and sato both were more physical when around him, when he needed help reaching something they would pick him up so he could reach it instead of just handing it to him, they would make a few complimentary jokes here and there as well, mineta dismissed the guy's acting weird as maybe some sort of prank the girls had them play in him.
he believed he heard something of the sort when mina, toru, kaminari, and kirishima had got together secretly but he had no idea how he could confirm his suspicions anytime he would ask about it they would deny anything actually happened and that it was just a fun outing for the four of them, he even tried to get ojiro to coerce the information out of toru but he declined making him think that he was in on it to.
But things really hit the fan following the day, koda like before was watching them from the corner of the room as the two rehearsed their performance but when he was struck by aoyama's laser on accident the usually quiet teen was abnormally loud and abrasive towards aoyama, even after mineta assured him that he was ok. It didn't matter koda seemed like a completely different person in that moment before completely going off the deep in and launching a punch at their blonde friend, aoyama reflexes seemingly sprang to life diverting the blow and delivering one of his own right to quiet kids jaw, which took koda slightly off his feet and knocking the boy out entirely. Aoyama was at first shocked at what he just did looking over to mineta who also stood in shock more so of what koda just did than what aoyama did.
The two looked at each other both still relapsing on what just occurred and how to proceed. The two ended up running over to get the others that would be up at that time. Momo, Midoriya, Mina, and Ojiro all rushed into the training room seeing their down friend.
"WHAT HAPPENED! Did you do this mineta?" Mina yelled, running up to Koda's unconscious form, she then snapped her head towards the purple classmate.
"No. It was aoyama." mineta hurriedly said pointing towards Aoyama who was looking away bashfully, holding his arm and holding his head down in shame.
" I…I didn't mean to, it just happened so fast..I'm so sorry." his voice was slightly broken up and full of regret, both momo and midoriya began to approach aoyama.
"Don't worry about it.. Just Explain what happened." Momo said softly. He turned to face the duo, his eyes barely meeting their gazes, they weren't angry with him or even hesitant which relieved his mind somewhat as began to tell them of what happened.
"That doesn't sound like koda at all." Mina said, coming up beside them.
"He's telling the truth." Mineta said, defending aoyama.
"I'm not saying that he's lying but this is koda we're talking about he wouldn't hurt a fly let alone one of his friends. Especially for something as mundane as hurting you" mina said, crossing her arms. Ojiro came back from moving koda back to his room and briefly talking to him and getting his side of the story.
"Koda said he was extremely sorry and that he didn't know what had came over him, he said it was like something in him snapped." ojiro expressed. Midoriya sat in thought of all the information they have, he also agreed with mina assessment their is no way that koda would do something like that and he also noticed how some of the strange behaviors his other classmates exhibited recently that mirrored how koda was acting previously he thought it could have been a harmless joke that he wasn't aware of but shoji being involved casted a lot of doubt on that topic. He had an epiphany during that moment, something that Tiffany said about it only being a day, which suggests that there is something additional to her power.
"You guys are right, there may be something more to this than a simple crush." midoriya stated
" Did you figure something out?" Momo asked.
"Not entirely, but maybe a hint in any case I'll try to text Tiffany tomorrow and ask more about it. My hunch is that along with the sex change her power also effects the people around the individual. " midoriya said
"But wouldn't we all start being affected then? Especially Aoyama since he has been with him a lot recently." ojiro mentioned.
"I don't know, maybe it's selective or there is some sort of criteria that needs to be fulfilled for it to take effect." Midoriya pondered out loud.
"In that case we need to keep koda away from mineta as much as possible to prevent future incidents." momo suggested
"Sounds like a plan." Mina said, pumping her fist in the air.
"I'll see what I can do." ojiro said also in agreement.
The group all made agreements and plans on what they were going to do to keep the two away from each other. Mineta felt a bump on his shoulder. It was from aoyama.
"We need to try our best to get this routine down." Aoyama said quietly to the smaller teen. Mineta nodded in understanding as everyone said their farewell. Both mineta and aoyama stayed practicing in their arena even longer into the night into the early morning hours, both with renewed vigor to perfect it. Mineta didn't know how this blasted curse worked but he needed to get it removed prompto before it spread to anyone else in the class, worst of all if any of their big three were affected, if that happened not many of their classmates would be able to stop them from doing whatever they wanted to him.
The following day got even weirder for the small teen as even Shoji began to show blatant affections towards him, making a harmless compliment of how he looks which shocked the class entirely.
"Ok, something is definitely going on." Mina whispered towards momo and midoriya.
"Has Tiffany gotten back to you yet?'" Momo asked Midoriya who shook his head as he watched the display in front of him. A lot of the guys seemed to be getting fairly cozy around mineta. Bakugo, kirishima, ojiro, tokoyami and kaminari seemed to be the only boy's other than himself that were acting normally strange he thought as he looked at his phone again at his text message seeing that his message wasn't even read yet, he couldn't blame her he texted basically in the dead of night and it was currently early morning so hopefully sometime through the day she would message him back. Luckily it did happen and thankfully after his patrol with bang was over with.
Messages:
Tiffany: Interesting effects like that don't happen until at least two weeks in relatively close proximity, that friend of yours must be an extremely perverted individual.
Midoriya: So your power does affect more than the individual afflicted?
Tiffany: ah, ah,ah before that what is the situation with sweet mask like?
Midoriya: well nothing concrete is in motion yet, but at the earliest it can be done by next friday, but they need to focus to make that happen but your power is kinda getting in the way of that.
Tiffany: I see…well the best thing to do is separate the affected individuals, they should return back to normal when out of his vicinity, my power along with turning someone into the opposite sex also expels what I call perverted energy constantly from their body. Leading people around them to find the individual more attractive and the longer people are exposed to such energy the greater the effect.
Midoriya: I…I see that makes sense. I'll let you know as soon as we get something confirmed for sweet mask.
Tiffany: I'm sure you will, good luck with your friend now. (Kiss emoji)
Midoriya was just finishing showing the texts to the rest of his classmates that were there with him at night.
"So we have to separate him from everyone. But where?" Momo inquired.
"I- I don't know. I'm sure the association has other spare rooms around that should be far enough away from but I don't want someone else to be caught in the effects either." deku pondered out loud.
"True it would be quite the predicament if we had to restrain a fellow hero." ojiro commented, before thinking for a moment.
"What if we rent him a hotel room?" mina suggested
"No, then we have a chance to expose random civilians to it." Momo denied, everyone sat in thought before a ringing was heard through the room. Midoriya looked down at his phone, and was surprised to see that the call was coming from mineta. He answered and had to yank his head back from the phone as yelling could be heard from the other end, mineta feminine voice screaming for help, midoriya looked up at the rest of his friends in the room before dashing away towards where he least saw them.
he was greeted by a another familiar face than he was expecting along with koda which he expected to find here their was also sato who was preoccupied with fighting aoyama who was holding up fairly well given his lack of hand to hand combat experience midoriya thought before looking over to mineta who was currently perched up on the ceiling away from the apparently lovestruck boy below him reaching up towards him, trying to coax him down with encouraging words like a cat in a tree.
Noticing midoriya in the entrance way mineta screamed for midoriya to help him, his call for help got everyone else in the room attention as well all of which turned towards midoriya some with gratitude others with annoyance, midoriya quickly sped over using 30% full cowling and his black whip to snatch both koda and sato off the ground and held them suspended in mid air both were struggling in his grip before his other classmates ran in to see what was going on.
"It seems you have everything under control, midoriya." momo said running up beside him
"Sheesh talk about potent, it's like they're addicted to him. Mina commented as she watched both Sato and Koda squirm and shake in dekus grasp.
"What are we gonna do with them?" ojiro asked
"Yaomomo, could you create something to knock them out." Midoriya asked Momo , obliged by creating a knockout toxin that she injected into two of their friends before Deku lowered them to the floor gently, laying them down.
"This is going to get out of hand pretty soon if we don't do something about this." ojiro mentioned.
"Yeah, until we can find somewhere he can stay where he won't affect anyone we need to have guards scattered around just in case something like this happens again." Momo said.
"Maybe bang could take him in at his dojo?" ojiro suggested.
"It's well secluded being on top of a mountain and all." ojiro continued.
"But what if it affects him also?" Mina said. Midoriya thought about it, he felt it was unlikely that bang would be affected by such a thing but if they were wrong and he ended up like the two before him deku doubted he could stop him even if he tried. Before he could point that out however, Aoyama chimed in.
" I can talk to sweet mask about it, I'm sure he could simply buy or lend us temporary housing especially if I phrase it in a way that will help our performance."
"Ok, we can go with that first and if that fails, go with bang." midoriya said, earning nods from across the board. Midoriya took the two unconscious classmates back to their rooms as everyone decided on who would take first watch and when, before everyone decided to go to sleep for the day.
The next day(Tuesday) the group decided to finally deluge the information that they have gained regarding mineta condition, they aired on the side of caution regarding on who they should tell exactly of the condition due to maybe some other unforeseen circumstances that may take place on the people being infected by the ability, secretly messaging all the individuals that would be involved with guarding mineta and aoyama while they practiced. After they gathered everyone that night and explained the situation to them. All of them seemingly agreed to the prospect, surprisingly even bakugo agreed to the terms. Two people would stay up late to watch over them while they practice and after some lengthy begging from Mina the group allowed her to pick the teams, and the results were almost as expected.
Night 1: yaomomo x todoroki
Night 2: Jiro & asui
Night 3: Mina & kaminari
Night 4: bakugo & ojiro & kirishima
Night 5: midoriya x uraraka
Most of the group was ok with the teams, two of the girls sent some harsh side eyes at mina who only stuck her thumb up in reply with a big dopey smile. Jiro was perplexed by the list whiles she was happy that she didn't have to spend so long alone with kaminari doing practically nothing, she was often acting like the two was secretly in love with each other it would have been the perfect time for her to do something like that similarly to how she did with momo and uraraka and as if reading her mind. Mina leaned in close and whispered in her ear.
"Sorry that I took kaminari from you."
"It doesn't matter to me, tsu would be better company anyways. ``Jiro replied, crossing her arms, Mina only giving a mischievous mhmmm as a response.
The group separated and began their shifts for the night . Both todoroki and momo posted up outside of mineta and aoyama training room. There was nothing but silence between the two for a long moment. It wasn't an uncomfortable silence, just one of being preoccupied with whatever was on their minds at the time momo would steal a few glances his way and todoroki would occasionally do the same. When they're eye met on one occasion. Momo spotted a slight swelling on his face under his scar.
"What happened?" she asked, gesturing a hand on her own face, todoroki was at first a bit taken off guard by the question and seeing where her hand was under her face but calmed down when she was probably referring to the swelling of his cheek most likely.
"Genos or Demon cyborg has us undergoing hand to hand combat training. He would have both me and bakugo fight each other and he could…get a little over excited to say the least." Todoroki remarked, rubbing his cheek somewhat, the phantom pain still noticeable from the blow he received. He chuckled lightly to himself.
"You would think he hates me."
"I don't think that's..he doesn't hate you…well not anymore than he hates the rest of us. But hand to hand combat training for you two? Seems not very useful." Momo replied
"Him and his master believes that we should not solely rely on our abilities to "carry" us through engagements. I don't disagree with their assessment that some more hand to hand combat techniques would have helped me in my fight against tetsutetsu during our joint training." Todoroki replied, looking at his hands.
"That's understandable." was all momo replied with before silence resumed but only for a small time before todoroki began the conversation again.
"What about you, how is your training with your hero working out?" with that momo let out a small chuckle.
"As well as your I suppose, my entire body is sore from sparring with her, unlike my precious trainer stinger who was more casual and laid back she is the complete opposite. a serious no-nonsense instructor."
"What led you to want to train under different heroes?"
"Drive knight suggested it, he wanted me to diversify my arsenal for combat, admittedly I could see where he was coming from and now that you mention. The joint training, I may have been able to perform better against kendo if I had done so earlier." she said rubbing her shoulder
"Don't discourage yourself, you performed admirably and almost led your team in victory even after your defeat." Todorki said earnestly. Momo's face immediately grew red and she turned her face away from him.
"Um…gh..tha..thank you for the kind words you..honor me with your praise." she squeaked out. After having a moment to calm down. She turned back to face todoroki.
"In any case, the main lesson our teachers I believe are trying to teach us is that we need to prepare outside of our niche and expand the scope of our abilities."
"I agree, we can only continue to go forward not only for ourselves but for others as well." Todoroki said giving the girl a smile that sent a slight flutter through her heart and some odd feeling rising in his when she returned the gesture. The rest of the time was spent mostly in silence before the two finished up their training and all four of them returned to their room to sleep.
The next day was Jiro and Asui's turn to keep watch unlike the two on the previous night however who stood watch outside their two's training area, the two girls decided to wait inside the req room. Thankfully it was close enough to the rooms that all Jiro needed to do was keep her earphone jack plugged into the closest wall which would allow her to hear if someone was emerging from their hallway. The association had planned their spot well; it was rare for other heroes or staff to be around, making her job even easier to do.
Inside the room was mostly silence after the rest of the stragglers left when tokoyami and toru returned at their usual late times. both girls being occupied with their phones, marginally conversing about this world's version of social media being extremely behind reminding them of something like my space from their world way back when. Not having much else to do on her phone, Asui decided to strike up a topic that's been bugging her for some time now.
"You know it was surprising when mina of all people paired us together instead of you and kaminari." snapping the girls head up to look at her green friend.
"W-what do you mean by that?" replied
"It's mina we're talking about, she put the potential couples together and I'm sure if toru had more energy she would have put those two together as well so why not you and kaminari?" Asui said, Jiro squashed the blush growing on her face as she stared daggers at her friend.
"Come on! Not you too? There is nothing between me and him ..mina just hyping things up." jiro argued.
"Didn't you hug Kaminari after the liberation battle?" Asui said, placing her finger on her chin looking at Jiro with a smug grin. The girl couldn't hide her blush, only covering it with her face with her hands, before breathing out and trying her best to retort.
"That was….nothing..we were all just stressed out and with everything that happened it was good to see him again." she stuttered and began to mutter her words as she went.
"Sure, sure." was all tsu said, her smile widening even more.
"Well what about you? You don't like anyone in the class?" jiro snapped back trying to deflect the topic back to her, asui ignored the indirect confession that she liked kaminari from the question and thought about the question she was asked.
"Hmmm…I can't really think of anyone in particular." Asui said after some time.
"I remember Shoji held you in his arms during the provisional exams." Jiro attempted to fluster the girl but only had the opposite effect. Asui's face dropped into an unimpressed fashion as she replied.
"He does that with everyone, even midoriya and mineta. I was indisposed at the time so it made sense for the biggest person there, who also has the ability to sprout extra arms to hold me."
"Ugh, yeah right. In any case, I'm worried about what Mina has planned, your right she wouldn't pass up the opportunity, something must be up and with those two involved it couldn't be any good. " Jiro said, feeling a bit foolish about her assertion. She was snapped out of asui's response by the sound of footsteps leaving their hallway. She looked to asui with a serious expression nodding her head towards the door. Asui nodded in reply both creeping up to the doorway and into the hall. They both rushed to block the exit of the hall that led to their rooms only to find a surprised tokoyami there.
"Asui, Jiro….never expected you two to linger in the dark." he said
"Tokoyami…..where are you headed so late into the night?" Jiro asked hopefully not as suspiciously as she thought she sounded.
"Umm..just to get some water?" Tokoyami asked confusingly.
"Mind if I join you?" Asui immediately replied.
"Ugh….I see no problem with that but weren't you about to return to your own room?"
" Well, yeah but since you mentioned it, I do feel kinda thirsty." Asui replied.
"I..see, well if you can tolerate my company then you can join me." tokoyami said.
"I think you're great so don't mention it." asui replied, tokoyami said nothing but his hair on his head bristled out somewhat at the praise. Jiro watched as the two left and dark shadow had emerged and started rubbing himself against Asui's hair and face before she relented to start petting the creature fully. Jiro watched the display for sometime before they cut a corning going out of sight, she smiled to herself as she began to look something up on her phone, she was disrupted by her search when mineta and aoyama both came through they briefly conversated before all of them went to their separate rooms, jiro sending asui a text to notify her as well.
The next day was a lot more eventful compared to the other nights Mina had gone over the plan with Kaminari for the last two days leading up to their eventual guard duty. Kaminari had expertly distracted the training duo while mina had went around scavenging mineta pop off orbs from around the arena melting the ground beneath them and scooping them up, she picked up 3 orbs before hurryingly scurrying away out of the training room and as quickly as she could down the hall to the rooms. Kaminari saw her leave and took that as his queue to leave as well. He headed out the doorway and waited for mina to return, she eventually did smiling holding two thumbs up at her yellow friend.
They didn't know how long their plan would take for things to get into motion. Their plan was successful however, rounding the corner in the direction of their hallway three of their friends began to approach rather menacingly sato, koda, and shoji approached almost like zombies moving forwards together slowly. Mina slapped Kaminari on his back, wishing him luck before running inside.
"Mineta! This is bad and we gotta get you out of here." Mina said with as much desperation she could muster, causing the two boys to completely stop what they were doing and stare at her, mineta's mouth beginning to gape and his body beginning to shiver with terror.
"What's happening mina!" Mineta said as they both rushed towards her.
"We have to go, the others are coming, three of them. we need to leave. now!" Mina took mineta by the arm and began running towards the door as Aoyama yelled out following them.
"What happened to kaminari?" he questioned.
"He's holding them off so we can make our escape." Mina replied, still hurdling to the doorway and turning away from the scene, once Aoyama passed through however, Kaminari had fallen into him, knocking the boy off his feet. Aoyama recovered from the fall and spotting the boy on top of him, shook him but he received no response but before he could check him over for injuries he looked up at his approaching three classmates who he thought were going to attack him but to his surprise they all just passed him over, continuing to follow after mina and mineta.
He looked over kaminari one more time before attempting to go help mina, he gave his face one last glance over but was surprised when the yellow haired teen eyes suddenly shot open but before he could say anything he was shocked unconscious. Kaminari took a minute to apologize to his unconscious classmate before picking him up and hauling him back towards his room. Mineta and Mina were still running away from the three classmates taking constant twists and turns but being unable to shake their pursuer's. Mina got an idea.
"Mineta I'll try to distract them, create a ring of orbs around me with your quirk." she said rapidly and mineta nodded in understanding doing so before. A split came in the hallway, they had just lost sight of their pursuers but they could hear their footsteps closing behind them. Mina went right while mineta went left. Mina began to use her acid on her shirt to start peeling off orbs one by one to tantalize her classmates to follow her which worked for her.
Mineta on the other hand finally made it back to the rooms but he couldn't find his key at all and shocked filled his features. He tried to maybe call someone but his phone was apparently out of batteries, he scanned his surroundings and began to weigh his options, he needed to somehow get his classmates attention so his first instinct was to just make as much noise as possible but that could draw the attention of his pursuers and who would he want to be next to in a time like this some of the guys were resistant but how long would that last with him so close to them, no it had to be a girl mina, momo, toru, froppy? What about jiro!
"Jiro do you copy!" he silently yelled as he urgently and softly banged on her door.
Her enhanced hearing should have definitely heard that but she needed to hurry as he heard footsteps approaching he began to fidget in place and increase the speed he hit the door. Before he was suddenly interrupted by none other than an angel voice of toru, he turned and saw a door open and immediately ran into it tackling toru in the process before immediately rising up and closing her door behind him, locking it.
"Oh my god thank you toru.. Honestly you're a lifesaver." mineta said as he let out a breath and he relaxed.
"Umm…why?" Toru asked, she didn't have her makeup on or suit on so she was invisible again. The only thing being seen was her colorful pajamas and tank top.
"The guy's they attacked us…I don't know if the other made it out or not. three of them gave their lives valiantly for me." he said with tears strolling down his eyes, toru rolled her eyes at his theatrics but played along with him.
" And you didn't go to your room because?" she asked, arms crossed.
"Well I must have dropped my keys somewhere when running. Please let me stay here until morning." he pleaded, toru sat in thought and to his surprise she said yes.
The two sat their for couple of minutes unsure of what to say or do, even though he was a girl he was still mineta so she still kept a distance from him but that changed when she got a text from her phone and went to open the door despite mineta protests she still opened the door to reveal mina coming inside her midriff showing from the pieces of cloth she burned where his balls were.
"Huh, I managed to give them the slip I think but it was close. " mina said with a relieved breath before relieving breath hopping away from the doorway and using her acid to stick it in place before turning back to mineta with an evil grin on her face frightening the boy somewhat into taking a few steps backs bumping into toru who was undoubtedly looking down on him before he felt invisible hands pick him up and throw him on the bed. At first he thought the girls were affected as well and he didn't know how to feel about that…happy, scared, excited? but they turned away from him and went into a closet and what they brought out frightened him even more than if they were affected, in each girl's hands were a bunch of frilly outfits.
"Alright mineta, here's the deal..your going to put on a fashion show for us or else we're gonna throw you back out there with the guy's.'' Mina said with a wide grin.
Mineta started to put the pieces together, they had taken extra precautions to not have people be affected by his disability anymore, separating himself from his classmates as much as he could so today shouldn't have been different from the last two days and his phone being mysteriously out of power currently can only be the result of kaminari draining it, that bastard traitor he thought. He thought of the possibility of going and trying to find his key but the association is a big place and he has no idea where she could have hidden it and he didn't know where the problematic people are so the risk could be incredibly high. He mentally resigned himself and nodded his head making both of the girls squeal in excitement.
"Just know, I'll get all of you back for this ..mark…my…words.'' Mineta said threateningly.
"Sure..sure" Toru said.
"In the meantime ..how about this as your first outfit you try on." Mina said, holding up a set that made Mineta's eye bulge out of his head.
"No…come on now …that's..that's going too far.'' Mineta said, backing up from both of the girls getting closer to him. A resounding nooo! reverberated through the room and was loud enough to even be heard outside the door slightly just within earshot of a passing kaminari dragging an unconscious aoyama down the hall before he was slightly spooked by a feminine voice.
"Should I even ask what you guys are doing?" Jiro's voice rang out from behind him. Making him turn his head to face her, giving her a wide smile.
" just a harmless prank." Kaminari responded. She looked towards Aoyama, then back towards him.
"Harmless right…" her eyes were then drawn to lingering pools of acid at the foot of a couple of doors.
"I knew you two were up to something." Jiro inquired.
"Are you just sad that we didn't get together, if it was my choice I would have done so."
kaminari said with a sly smile. Making the girl blush, slamming her door in response, making kaminari chuckle to himself before carrying on with his task. After having their fun, Mina revealed that she had mineta's key, she gave it back to the small lass before sending him on his way. Mineta was already scheming his revenge on the three of them and everyone else went to bed.
The next night went down seemingly without a hitch, aoyama was keenly aware of mineta's new mood during their practice; he seemed somewhat lost in thought often and unable to focus entirely on what they were doing, he didn't want to press him on the subject however. He did have good news to share which will hopefully get him back on track.
"Sweet mask has granted our request for somewhere to isolate you and he even stated that we have until Tuesday to show him our routine for us to pass his expectations. It even includes a recreation of the studio for better practice." it had his desired effect on the small child snapping him from his thoughts and focusing on what he just said.
"That all sounds great. Ugh when can I leave?" mineta questioned
"As soon as tomorrow." Aoyama replied with a wide smile.
"That's good…good." Mineta said mostly more to himself than to aoyama as he began to think again before being interrupted by a scream from none other than bakugo.
"Are you extras done yet!" he screamed from the doorway.
"No, just another hour or so!" Aoyama called back, making the boy grit his teeth.
"Then stop all that yapping and get to work!" bakugo said before marching back out of sight from the doorway.
"Come on bakugo, don't take your anger out on them just because you lost.'' Kirishima attempted to calm his friend down. The three students were meandering in the hallway outside of the two performance room and to distract the restless bakugo, kirishima offered a competition between the three of them the goal was to do as many pushups as much as possible last one going wins, after a good 20 minutes of this the winner ended up being kirishima, followed by ojiro and bakugo coming in last which did nothing to improve the blonde's mood.
"I'M NOT ANGRY!" he yelled
"Could have fooled me." ojiro replied smugly.
"Oh, Oh ..the mighty tail has something to say?" bakugo responded immediately. Before Ojiro could reply, Kirishima intervened.
"Hey, hey now guys..no need to fight, bakugo you don't have to stay here if you don't want to." he said. Make the boy huff before putting his hand in his pockets, before walking away.
"I'm gonna go blow off some steam, text me if something happens. I told the nerd and long hair that I'll do it so I'll stick to that." as bakugo walked around the corner ojiro spoke.
"Man I don't get that guy he always seems perpetually angry but also stalwart at the same time. It's a miracle you two get along so well."
"He isn't so bad, he just has a tough time accepting others." Kirishima replied.
Bakugo left and went towards his standard rocky training area, to blow off some steam, his training with genos currently didn't really involve his quirk much lately and monsters were somehow few and far between so he was itching to just cut loose and blow things up. He was so wrapped up in his thoughts that he didn't realize that something was different about the training; several rock cliffs and plateaus were chipped away and worn, he was surprised because usually at this time of night the facilities would be repaired or fixed up. And the destruction looked new going by some still being in motion coming down by his feet. He was shocked when a sudden female voice came from behind him.
"What is your business here?" the mysterious voice said. He turned around and took a step back at the giant hulk of a woman behind him. She was massive, even taller than the tentacle freak, she wore the same garb as that ninja that was training long hair but instead she had a silver get up which matched her silver eyes. He quickly steeled himself and took on a hardened tone.
"You're in my spot, beat it." he warned. He prepared for some comment back or some denial after all being almost a half a foot smaller than the person you threatened didn't give off a position of power but he was shocked that her reply was a simple ok before walking towards the doorway, bakugo watching as she left, before she met the doorway he swore he saw two gray blurs approach her and simply disappear.
"Your eyes do not deceive you." he heard behind him quickly turning his head to look at who said that but was shocked to see the girl from before just before disappearing again, he turned back around to look at the massive ninja who stared back at him before disappearing from the doorway. Bakugo didn't know what to make of that encounter so decided to just drop it and get to what he planned to do from the beginning. The rest of the night was peaceful and everyone went to bed once the crew was finished.
The next day was the sign of mineta departures for his own little home much to mina's dismay as her plans to get uraraka and deku together late at night was going to fail. But before he left, Mineta had one more thing to do. he braced himself thinking sad thoughts and slapping himself to make his cheeks red. He was told to separate himself from the class so he didn't participate in the opening morning class get together but now he made it his purpose to do so. He told Aoyama to go ahead and once he was out of sight, he began to try and make himself tear up and entered the req room much to the surprise of everyone in the know. Before they could question why he stopped by, 3 of their classmates' bull rushed over towards them. He whispered in their ear something that the others couldn't hear and left shortly after that. The three classmates turned towards the others menacingly, most of their attention focused towards mina, toru, and kaminari. As he listened in on the chaos taking place inside he laughed to himself before leaving along with Aoyama, that was just the beginning of my revenge on you guys just you wait he thought.
short chapters like these I don't know when it will make a come back it's one of a kind piece, but month 4(and maybe 3 as well) I'm thinking will probably have chapters more like these than the standard ones
