Ch. 30 Kingdom inside the Walls

-Kara-
"Finally" I sigh
"You never told me you had lost your memory" Historia says
"Oh… I didn't think it mattered" I yawn
"Well it kinda does" she says
"Is that right ? Krista ?" I ask
"Oh shut up" she pouts
She had changed her name for some reason
When they asked for her name she said it was Krista instead of Historia
I could see captain Erwin had also just gotten out of the station
"It seems they have no ideas life exists outside of the walls" she whispers
"What you mean ?" I ask
"I overheard a priest talking about how life has gone extinct outside of the walls and the only humans that remain are those inside these walls"
"I don't blame them" I say
"What you mean ?" she asks
"They've been caged up in these walls for hundreds of years cause of those monsters" I say
"Oh…"
"How weird huh Odin" I pat Odin's belly
We walk around for a bit when we run into a man that was some kind of doctor
"Wow what a pup huh" he looks up at Odin
"Heh yeah" I chuckle as Odin wags his tail excitedly
"What's his name ? Marley ? No couldn't be" he says
"Marley ?" Out of every other name he asked that one
"N-no" I say I look at Historia… I mean Krista wondering if he knew of Marley the kingdom that sent us to our death
"No offense that's a horrible name" I say
"Ha yes it is isn't it" he says in a serious tone
He has to know
But why ?
How ?
I thought nobody knew about Marley
When I asked their relationship with Marley they assumed it's what me and my 'family' called this kingdom
"I'm doctor Yeager" he offers to shake my hand
"Yeager ?" Krista asks
"Yeager" the doctor nods
"It's a pleasure" I shake his hand "I'm Kara"
"The pleasure is all mine Kara" he smiles "come I'm sure you need a place to stay" he says
"Oh… yeah thanks" he knows something… but what ?
"You sure we should ?" Krista whispers
"He knows something" I whisper
He leads us to his house of course Odin was way too big to go inside so he had to stay right out by the door
"Thanks again" I sigh taking my place at the couch where Krista sat beside me
"No problem" he brings a chair sitting down right infront of us "so tell me where exactly do you come from" he asks
"I'm sure you already know… Dr. Yeager" Krista says
"Marley ?" He asks
"Sadly" I sit back
"We were transported here… on a Galley" I sigh remembering how hard that was
"Is that so ?" He asks
"Yeah I was sentenced for three years of labor before my execution"
"I see… I assume it is cause of your appearance" he says
"Y-yeah" I sigh
I can't believe how fucked up this world was
To send me to my death cause the way I looked
"You resemble the Son of Satan too much to have been kept around" he says
"Yeah and I apparently share that same name" I set a hand on my chest where my name had been imprinted on
"Yes I seen that" he says
"So what exactly brought you here" I ask
"You see I'm here on a mission" he grunts as he gets on his feet
"What do you mean ?" I ask
"I came here to retrieve the founding titan that has been lost in these walls for generations" he says
"Really ?"
"Yeah" he smiles "I was a bit worried that I might fail if I don't have a direct descendant of Ymir" he says
"I…" Krista stops
"Wh-what are you implying ?" I ask
"Wait" Historia interrupts "I can do it Dr Yeager I can take back the founding Titan" she says
"Are you of royal blood ?" Yeagar asks
Historia nods
"Y-your what ?" I ask
"I-I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner Kara… honestly I was hoping this entire kingdom was nothing but a myth an ancient legend" she says "but I see now it's all true"
"What's true what do you mean ?" I ask "that's why you changed your name ?" I ask
"Forgive me Krista but for that very reason you can not be the one to inherit the Founding Titan for the will of Yamir possesses that of royal blood and is condemned to live peacefully" he says "though peace is good it is not what Eldia needs at the moment"
"Eldia ?" What are they talking about ?
"I…" Historia
Fuck I mean Krista doesn't know what to say
"But it's alright we may have found something even better" he says
"Like ?" Historia asks
"Like the son of THE Messiah" he looks at me
"Y-you mean Kara is actually related to him ?" Krista asks
"Y-you think I am related to this Kara ?" I ask
"It makes sense" he says "your appearance is far too similar to him, if you aren't spawn of the devil himself than you certainly are the Messiahs offspring"

I guess that makes sense
The son of the Messiah of Evil Huh… don't know if I want to believe that
"Okay so what you want me to do ?" I ask
"For now… rest" he turns around "we'll speak more tomorrow" he says as we hear someone fumbling the keys at the door
"Yay finally homee" a kid jumps in
"Eren careful dear" a lady says as the boy runs to his room "H-honey why is there a giant dog outside?" The lady asks
"Oh yeah it is Kara's dire wolf" Dr. Yeagar says
"K-Kara ?" She turns to me
"Oh hello pleased to meet you" she says
"It's my pleasure Mrs." I shake her hand
"They don't have a place to stay so they will be staying for quite a while" Dr. Yeagar says
"Oh… okay would you like some tea or coffee ?" She asks
"Coffees fine please" Krista smiles
"Okay" she smiles
"Mikasa Armin c'mon" Erren shouts
"Coming" a girl in dark black hair shouts who I'm assuming is Mikasa says
"Is that your dog?" A younger boy with blond hair who I think is Armin asks
"Yeah his names Odin" I say as Odin sticks his snout through the window
"Is it true you found him outside the walls ?!" Armin asks excitedly
"Sure did" I pat Odin's nose "you know I fought him for a turkey he actually ripped off my-" I stop
Saying he ripped my arm off and it grew back would probably sound weird
"D-did he do that to your chest?" He points at the nasty scars across my chest
"Oh… yeah" I lie
"Don't you three think it's time to get some rest?" Mrs. Yeagar asks
"R-right c'mon Armin" Mikasa grabs Armins wrist
"O-okay" he says
"Thanks" I sigh
"Anytime" she smiles
…
Ahem * she clears her throat "well guess I should go get some sleep" she says after handing Krista her coffee
"Right" I smile before she joined her husband
"Man" I sigh
"You okay ?" Krista lays on my chest
"Y-yeah" I sigh
I lay there on the couch trying to remember… anything till I fell asleep

"Wh-why were you so rough ?" Asura sniffs as she pulls her dress back down trying to cover her legs drenched in blood
"S-sorry I don't know what's wrong with me" I put my hands on my head
There was so much blood

"Stop" I felt out of breath

"Sh-shut up" I huff

"Shut up !!" I shout "that's not true" I sniff
"K-Kara ?" Asura sets a hand on my back
"I-I'm sorry Asura" I sniff
"It's okay Kara" she grabs my wrists "s-stop hurting yourself… please" she says
I had just noticed how hard I was digging my claws into my head
"Oh…" I stop "where's Lucifer ?" I ask
"Oh… he left after you… well… after y-you became scary" she sniffs
"I'm sorry Asura" I pull her into my arms
I can't believe I'd hurt my little sister like that
What the fuck is wrong with me ?
"C'mon lets get you cleaned up" I help her up
"O-okay" she smiles before we go to the waterfall

"You okay ?" Krista asks

"Yeah" I sigh
What was that ?
I spaced out again but… I dreamt of
Asura… again
Is she really my sister ?

God this is so fucked
"W-well I'm almost done" Krista says as she held my junk in one hand and shaved the inside of my thigh with the other
She had been helping me shave so I wouldn't stand out as much
"Oh… yeah" I say still a bit dazed from my dream
Yeagar explained everything to me
He confirmed according to every single person here humanity had gone completely extinct outside the walls thanks to the titans
But of course we knew that's not true
He told me the 'Messiah of Evil' was a founding Titan one that is greatly responsible for the creation of the universe
After he shared his spinal fluid with his daughter she gained the power to turn and control these giants which are now referred to as Titans
And that's all he told me
He said I'd get the exact details and his mission how we'd take back Marley and free Eldia once I inherited the Attack Titan which he really hasn't told me how I'd be doing
But he did say we'd be heading out any day now
"Okay… done" Krista finally says
"Alright" I get to my feet
"The bath is ready" Krista says a bit distracted by my schlong
"Okay I'll be out in a bit" I say but she doesn't respond
"Hey" I raise her chin with my tail
"R-right I'll go help Carla with breakfast" she finally stands up "bye" she gives me a little smile before closing the door behind herself
I lay in the bathtub for quite a bit trying to collect my thoughts
It was the first time I dreamt of Asura in a while
But I haven't had a clue where my memories went in 5 years or is it 4 ?
Fuck I wish I knew how to count
I look down at my chest where my name had been tatted along with that serial number
I wonder how Cyrus is doing
It's been awhile since I been living in the walls
They wanted me to join the survey corps
And I was going to but Yeagar said he'd need me in the walls
So now I work as a blacksmith and mechanic
Apparently I'm really good at putting things together so I guess I somewhat help them in that department
After a few more minutes I finally decide to get out
I got changed into a comfortable blue Gi and after I joined Krista and everyone else at the table
"Okayy" Carla smiles as she sets the food on the table
"Finally" Eren takes his seat at the table "man what a day" he sighs
"It's barely seven in the morning" Krista says
"Yeah and he already got beat up" Misaka says
"Hey what you doing running your mouth for !!" Eren shouts
"Eren c'mon man it's too early for that" I yawn
"Shit up your not dad !!" He shouts
Man I'm missin Dr. Yeagar
A month ago all he said was he had to go out on a 'business trip'
He asked me to stay here and take care of his brat Mikasa and Carla while he's gone
"We all know you miss daddy but try to stay quiet for a minute" I sigh
"Nghk you little" he clenches his fist
The kid had a nasty as temper he be wanting to fight for the smallest things it was ridiculous
We talked… well I argued with Eren for a bit and soon we all finished with our breakfast
"Alright peace mom" Eren dips with Misaka
"I gotta head out too" I stand up
"I gotta deliver the horse shoes to the scouts" I throw head over to the door
"Okay take care dear" Carla says
"Bye Kara" Krista smiles before helping Carla with the dishes
I wave goodbye before heading outside where Odin was waiting beside the boxes I'm supposed to deliver
"Alright boy" I pat his belly letting him know I was here
"Arrf" he barks
After a few minutes I managed to fit all the boxes on the large saddle like thing I made for Odin and soon we were on our way
"Alright down boy" I say before hopping off his back
"Hey Kara did you bring the shoes ?" I hear the Donovan the newest recruit ask
"Yup" I grunt as I hand him a box
I take two boxes before following him inside
"Heh Great also thanks again for fixing my ODM gear" he says as we carry them inside
"Yeah man no problem" I set the boxes down
"Haha as if !" I hear Hange
"Aye come help us weirdo" I huff
"Whua ?" She turns around
"Oh… uhh I'm a little busy" she lies before shutting her door
"Ah c'mon man" I sigh
"Kara" I hear captain Erwin
"Oh wassup captain" I huff
"Kara have you given my offer a thought" he asks
"Oh… uhh yeah" I say
He had offered to name me squad captain if I join the scouts but I haven't been able to talk it over with Dr. Yeagar yet
"So what are your thoughts ?" He asks
"Oh man I don't know" I say "to be honest I like this peace and quiet I'd like to enjoy it a while longer before I get back in the action" I say
"Ah yes I see" he sighs "well that's alright you've got Krista to worry about I'm sure y-"
"Oh yess you do" Hange cuts him off
"Hey Kara" she gets in my face "can I be there to see your first born ?!" She asks
"Wh-what ?" I back up
"Gosh I wonder how your child will come out to be !!" She shouts "will it have a tail and covered in fur like daddy ? Or like blonde fur like mommy?! Oh man what if it just has a tail and no fur?" She goes on
Me and Krista aren't really a thing we've just made sure we were there for eachother since we only know what we had to go through
"W-well guess I should get going" I back out
"Yeah see you around Kara" I shake Erwins hand "remember that offer will always be open for you"
"R-right thanks again" I say before getting outta there with Odin
"Man what a weirdo huh Odin" I sigh
he nods
"Arrf" he barks
"For real she won't shut up" I sigh
"Man what should I take to eat today" I lay back
"Mmgh" he whines
"Chicken ?" I ask "yeah less eat that" I giggle
Man I love chicken
"Hey let's go to wall Maria" I sit up
There's an old man just past that wall that sells the fattest chickens
"Oh man c'mon boy" I pat his side getting him to jog a little faster
Everyone opens path trying not to get stomped on by Odin as we made our way to the wall
Border Patrol looked at my papers and what not and they let us through
"Hehe that's right" I giggle
After about 30 minutes we arrived at the farm
"Hmm those four right there" I point at the four that were running around happily
"Okay" he catches them all with a net
"Alright" I snap their necks before throwing three of them onto Odin's back and feeding the fourth to Odin
"Just give me 40 coins" he says
"40 ?" I ask
"Heh yeah I never have to bother to kill and pluck them when it's you" he says as I hand him 50
"Oh right" I giggle "keep the change" I hop on Odin's back
"Thanks" he says before I go on my way
"Man how tasty huh" I giggle excitedly
I'd eat one as it is now
But they taste super good the way Carla cooks them
"C'mon boy" I pat his side and he begins running back towards wall Maria
At this speed Odin managed to get there in only 5 minutes before we had to wait in line again
"Back already ?" The guy asks
"Heh yeah" I giggle
"Alright" he hands my papers back before there was a massive explosion
Everyone around instinctively duck their heads
"Wh-what was-" before the guy could finish there was a huge shockwave accompanied with a loud sonic boom
There was panic shouting and screaming as everyone came flooding into the inner wall
"What is it ?!!" I demand as I pushed through the crowd on top of Odin
"Th-the outer wall…" a soldier who was bleeding from his forehead stops
I felt shivers go down my spine as he said it
"It's been… breached" he says
