I DON'T OWN ANYTHING
Well,in one chapter I gave kyohei and mei's dad as 'ren' but it is actually 'zen',sorry for inconvenience...well zen is cool name,right...?
Asahi's pov
I was never chosen to be the leader of Takahashi clan though I had capacity to become one. I came second in ranking and zen came first, yet that idiot brother of mine left his title and surname just for a woman he knew is not on our level.
Though my marriage is also a love one,but dad never opposed her. Yuuki is good natured, smart,sweet and most importantly supportive. She was my elementary school friend, her father and mother were famed lawyers, her future goal was clear,she wanted became a pianist but due to my job she preferred to become CEO.
I always asked her about that decision but she always successfully avoided it. Though I bought a piano for her so she could play it whenever she wants.
So back to the topic about my brother, I always admired him,he was like a role model for me but he proved me wrong when he left me with all responsibilities. I'd had just graduated from junior high school and at that age I was given all responsibilities. Though,now that is not all a problem because I have learned a hard way of life.
But I have promised myself that my children will...not...see the...Somehow I feel that I failed in the part where I have to protect them. I still wonder if I would have been there... I my head and focused on my work. Someone knocked the door "yes?" I asked "may I come in,sir?" it is yuuki who came in. Though we are couple she prefers to call me 'sir' while on workplace.
"Yes,please " she came in with a small smile on her face "dear" I was shocked that she called me like this during our job "you- " "heh,I know I never call you like this while we are in office but...today is special " she said and removed her phone from her and showed it to me. In her recent calls, Touya's name was first " He called you!?" I was shocked because he always texts us.
"Yep,he along with his friends is coming on sunday " she said happily " wh...what?" I said and she nodded " really...? great " I said,due to my upbringing I can't show my emotions but in reality only I know how happy I am.
I got up from my seat went near yuuki and hugged her and then kissed her passionately. "A...asahi wh..what was-" "I am happy and I wanted to show my happiness to you " for a moment I was happy...just for a moment but it got interrupted by the incoming call.
"Hello..?" I said "is this mr.Takahashi " "yes ..." "yes,I am doctor fennel from health care hospital...your daughter miss touko takahashi,...her conditions have grew...worse!" I felt like my world has stopped, "wh-...what?.. how..I..I mean-" " Mr. Takahashi please come as soon as possible...though I am here to handle everything...she needs you".
That was what she said and kept the phone. I wasn't able to hear anything. Not even yuuki's concerns, neither could I feel her hand on my shoulders which were shaking me to know what happened. "Yuuki...we need to go to the hospital...touko's condition has grew worsen " I said and her reaction was similar to mine.
We didn't at all talk on the entire trip to hospital. We went inside the thirty-five storey building, we asked the receptionist and she told us to go on 15th floor operation theater. Till the time we reached there the operation was still going on and we'd had to wait till night.
When the doctor came out she saw us and gave a small nod, assuring us that touko is safe. I put my hand on my head and sat on the chair near to me " after four years...,her conditions worsened...is it because her brother is coming home...I wonder...no it is not possible right..." I said mostly to myself, yuuki sat besides me and looked down . "Should we inform this to touya...I mean to come some other..-" "No!" I said her ,"touya would become tense and we can't include him in this...he can't handle himself in situations like this yet..." I explained her.
"When he will come here we will inform him...but till that time don't say anything to him " I said and we both stayed there. Until a nurse came near us after ten and said "Mr. Takahashi you can meet your daughter now, just please be sure to not make any noise once inside and please switch off your phones." We turned it off and went inside the room where touko is kept.
When we entered the doctor was standing there and checking her. 'Touko still looks same' she hasn't changed at all,just her height have increased slightly and her hair is now reaching till below her waist . " Oh, you came Mr. Takahashi " I nodded, she looked at touko and said her " see ,your mom and dad is here,I will leave you now, okay " and she left.
Though touko is in coma, she can still here what is going on around her. I sat on the chair near her bed and hold her hand "so after so many days you felt like meeting us,eh" I chuckled a little and continued "your brother along with his friends will be visiting you this sunday...do you know,it has been about four years...your mom,brother and I am waiting for you to wake up...will-" "Mr. Takahashi, I have a good news for you...along with a bad news though..." I looked back,it was doctor fennel who said this.
The information she gave me was quite satisfactory but at the same time...quite troubling...the future is still a mystery to us and even though I am happy, no one knows when this happiness will turn into sadness.
Done...finally...now this story will go on a break until 'king,queen and jack' reaches till 7th chapter...so...enjoy...and please review...
