Touya's pov

The meeting was set on Monday at 11 in the morning. We reached 5 minutes early then the scheduled time. "You called for the meeting?" uncle said and sat in the chair opposite to ours. "We got certain questions to ask you...regarding the accident" he stiffened for a moment ,then relaxed "what about that?" he asked.

"We found touko's diary and in it she had wrote that you called her on the day of accident and few days back you even threatened her to death " dad said. "It is just a misunderstanding, I didn't threatened her...it's just, I told her to not say anything about...my fight with...ai" he said and looked away. "Then, why did you fought with her" I know that I was going little out of the way but I wanted to know 'why'.

"I...actually...I don't remember" it was clear that he was lying, "stop lying !" dad was slowly losing his temper. "I am not lying!" uncle too raised his voice, "is it because of her affair " dad asked, "huh?" "you fought with ai because you found out that she was having an affair, and when touko saw you two fighting you thought that it is better to kill two birds with one stone and deliberately failed the breaks so it will seem as an accident ".

I looked at dad, there was skeptical look on his face. "You are getting wrong ideas asahi-" "I am not, I mean, why won't you, right? You can't see my happiness, right...even in past and even now" there was a brief moment and then dad broke the silence " because of you and that older sister of mine...I never got a normal childhood because of you" there were hints of sadness in his tone and without saying anything further he gave us a signal to get up.

Before going, I glanced at uncle, his face was unreadable. I increased my pace and walked out of his office. "Dear " mom called him once we were inside the car "we didn't told touya about the good news, right?" she tried to calm the atmosphere but nothing seemed to be changed, she looked at me and said "that day the doctor said,...that there is possibility that touko might wake up!" I didn't knew what to say, under normal circumstances I would have been happy, but for now...I was not.

None of us said anything and no one glanced at each other. Once we reached at our apartment, we saw someone unexpected at our door. The boy turned to us and just stared for a moment, "I was waiting for you " he said it to me. "Why aren't you at school? I thought you might be with other three" " I had came to meet with touko, but after thinking for a while, I thought better ask permission from uncle " kyohei said.

"Great, because coincidentally we had went to meet your dad" I said "my,...dad?" he was surprised to hear that. "Why?" he asked "none of your business, you want my permission, right, I give it to you now so, leave " dad said. He left without saying a word.

Kyohei's pov

I wanted to know why they went to meet dad 'guess I have to ask dad' I reached at the hospital and after giving information and reason to come, I went towards her room. She was laying on the bed, stationary. Last time I met her, and had stayed for long with her was around ten years ago,at goldenrod, when my mom had yelled at her for just coming inside our room by mistakenly.

It wasn't her fault as she was only five year old kid, she just laughed and when mom was about to hit, I interrupted by asking something silly. Then we both played for a while and I really felt like I was enjoying. "It has been while, hm" I smiled "mei wanted to come but I told her not to as...you know, we are in first year of high school".

I know the fact that she can hear us. The door of the room opened and I looked behind only to find that dad was standing there and looked astonished. "Kyo-...kyohei!?" "yes?" "what are you doing here?" " I took a leave from school and thought to visit here, but what are you doing? and today uncle and touya came to meet you, right" .

"I...I..." he closed the door and came near me and said " kyohei, actually...I wanted to tell you something " he looked here and there and continued " kyohei I wanted to tell you that..." what he said further was just astonishing.
