Ch. 51 Thirst

-Kara-
"Man I'm thirsty" I growl
That's all I could think about
"Water.. I need water" I look around before dumping my head into a giant puddle gulping down all the water I could
"Ghk" I choke crawling back as I came back to my senses
My arm got ripped right off along with my left foot
Man that fucked me up
Can't believe I'm still conscious after that
"Can't believe I'm even alive" I giggle as I watch Annie limping over
She looked like she had also just barely managed to transform
The only thing left to do is wait for my team to swing by and save me, that's if they're still even around
"Kara!" I hear Sasha as my limbs began growing back "oh god what happened" she asks nervously
"Hehe" I giggle "I got fucked up, kgh*" I choke
"L-let's get you up" she helps sit me up before I manage to drown in my own blood
"M-man" I groan
"Stay still, I should be enough for her" she stands up
"No" I grab her wrist "I don't want you to take her on alone" I groan as I make her help me up "wait for Mikasa to arrive if not Connie or Jean can help you put her down" I huff
Can I even walk? Man everything hurts
I let my guard down for a second and now I'm a fucking mess
"Kara?" I hear Sasha
"What?" I groan
"Annie… she's.."
I look up
Annie, the bitch was jogging on over here trying to catch up to us
"Fuck" I cough
"C'mon I have to pull you up on the roof"she tries getting me on her shoulder"
"No!" I growl pushing her aside
"I should have enough strength left to finish this" I set my thumb into my mouth ready to rip it off
"No!" she shouts "we have to get high up to signal for help Mikasa and the rest of them should be nearby" she yanks my hand out of my mouth before I could transform
"Ghk stop I have t-to try" I felt dazed all of a sudden
I'm thirsty
Why am I so fucking thirsty??
I need water…
No that won't help
"Kara!" Sasha shakes me "Please I need you to stay conscious at least till we get you up"
"Kgh" I cough
Sasha she's still here
Now that I think about it I felt myself brimming with energy when I devoured Annie
Sasha.. yess she'll do just fine
I sniff her neck
First I'll choke her out then when she's out I'll break her legs so she won't get away
"Hee hee" I giggle
Yes how exciting I'll go straight for those thick juicy thighs of hers next so that after she wakes up I can hear her scream her lungs out thats if she doesn't bleed out first, yes sounds just perfect
The excitement is unreal I'm going to have to dump a load inside her before anything else
"Sasha" I call out to her

Before I continue I felt something click inside my head

"Ugh" I push her off me "you idiot," I manage to keep myself up "its over, Sasha, we won" I smile
"No it's not over yet, Kara" she goes to grab my wrist but I yank it out of the way
"Go you idiot," I huff "let me die here"
There's something wrong with me
There's no way in hell I can return to Historia like this
"Kara.. you aren't acting like yourself" Sasha steps closer
I know I'm not
My throat is dry
It won't stop, I've drank on and on and on and on but it won't go away
"AAGH THIS THIRST WON'T GO AWAY!" I growl
"Kara!" Sasha snaps me back
"Just go you fucking idiot" I back up from her "why the hell are you still here?! You got in between me and Historia.. Get the fuck out of my face"
"What are you saying?" her eyes widen
"Don't give me that" I smack my lips "why you so serious all of a sudden, Huh?" I lean into her face "go on be that idiot you always were with Connie and get up out of he-," her hand decks me across the face before I could finish
"Not another word" she says in the steadiest tone she could keep her voice
"We're dying here together if thats what its come to" she says looking up as a shadow is casted over us
"Finally" Annie huffs as Sasha stepped in front of me
"Look I'm not brave I just don't know how to even look at you after what happened the other day, I messed up," she says "I'm terrified but if this is it, than this is it, there's nothing I can do to change the outcome of this, but what I can do is give it my all" she draws her blades "to the end right?! After all, we are scouts! The wings of freedom!"
"Please Sasha why don't you just go" I set a hand over my mouth before I could barf up another liter of blood
I was about to protest to Sasha as another shadow dawns over our heads
I look up
Odin
Odin?
I watch as my loyal companion chomps down on Annie's shoulder
He's 15 meters tall on all fours
But how ?
"Is that Odin?" Sasha asks
"Y-yeah" I say still a bit puzzled as to why he had suddenly taken on that size
Like this he's more than a match for her, even a tough match if she were at full strength
I take a seat
"H-hey you think I can borrow that cloak of yours?" I ask Sasha pointing out the obvious fact that I'm still naked after turning back into a human
"Oh right" she starts untying the cloak from her neck
"So why'd you come back?" I ask
"Oh that's right!" she stops for a second
"Hange said she wanted you to take the fight towards the walls so you'd be safe from the blast as well" she says
"Right" I sigh
Before I could ask what she knows about Eren there was a loud painful cry
"GYAHHHHHHH" Annie cries so loud my ears began bleeding
"What's with her?!" Sasha shouts and after a few seconds it finally stopped
Wait..
I look around
"Odin run!" I shout
"What is it ?" Sasha asks
"Bertolt that has to be his signal" I say as her eyes widen into the sky
"Th-that barrel" she points up at a barrel that was falling straight towards us
I quickly pull her into my arms
I sprout wings from my hardening only for them to shrivel up instantly
"Fuck" I growl
I wasn't even sure I could sprout them at all, if I had to guess consuming my own blood must've given me some form of energy
"K-Kara?" Sasha grunts as I find myself squeezing too tight
"We'll be fine" I close my eyes as the strike of lightning finally hits the ground
I feel Sasha's arms suddenly squeeze tightly around my waist
I was about to attempt to create some sort of barrier one last time when I felt something suddenly scoop us up
I open my eyes
Odin
He was still as big as he was when he fought Annie
He quickly gulps us down
I thought we were dead but we got squeezed through a tube that lead straight into a sack
All I knew was that he had stored us somewhere inside himself
It wasn't his stomach because there wasn't any acid it was more like some kind of storage unit so he can go weeks without having to drink water
But all I can do was listen as the explosion finally hit and I could feel my back slamming into his ribs over and over as the room got smaller and smaller till me and Sasha were squeezed together
He probably turned back into his normal size
"Ghk Odin" I grunt before I felt air get swept inside
He's alive
It looks like every time he takes a breath air get swept in for us as well
"Kgh" It was so dark I couldn't see a thing
I was in so much pain, the adrenaline had been keeping me up the entire time but now it was over and I couldn't move a muscle
"Mgh" Sasha grunts after I move my arm from her belly
She got knocked unconscious
Rather I might've knocked her unconscious
"Guh" I clench my teeth as blood dripped out of my mouth
Man everything hurts
But all I could think of was my thirst
It's happening again.. no matter how hard I try avoiding it
Wait…
I can smell it
Sasha
She smells wonderful
I sniff her neck
Yes she's bleeding
How'd I not see it before?

There was barely any space. Even if she did wake up she'd have no way at stopping me

Regaining my strength with every mouthful of blood I stole from her
"Agh!" She gasps in my ear before I finally reached my limit

But it finally stopped
The thirst that had been driving me crazy up until now was finally gone
"C'mon we need to get out" I say
"Right" she agrees
