Okay, let's go. Thanks for reviewing, SuperKitty4789, GIANTPANDAMAN and DannyPhantom619.

I was super glad that Duncan had decided to grow a pair and refused to take all of Courtney's crap. All the same, I didn't have time to congratulate him that night – the last challenge was tomorrow. After that, one day in Canada to hang out, and then my flight home.

"Despite the fact that you're standing in my way to win," Beth said, "I'm glad you're here. It means I'm not all alone in the trailer."

Before I could reply, a tube spewing purple gas was tossed into the trailer. Things went black pretty quickly after that.

I woke up when the sun shone through my eyelids, and I instantly registered everything. First, I was in an upright postion. Second, I was tied to a pole on a ship. Second, Beth was on one side of me and Duncan was on the other, both tied to the pole and asleep.

I managed to nudge both of them with my elbows. "Hey, you two, wake up!" I hissed.

Beth was the first to wake up. "Stephanie?" she mumbled, opening her eyes. She instantly realized the same thing as me.

"Duncan!" we both yelled out together.

Finally, the third person still in the game opened his eyes, and tested the ropes. "Tight, but not painful." he remarked. "Chef's losing his edge."

I shrugged. "Well, painful or not, can we please figure out a way to get out of these?"

"Wait.." Beth said. "I have a plan! It's gonna make sure one of us wins the million dollars!"

"All I'm planning is to make sure the one of us is me." Duncan muttered.

"Shut up, and listen to Beth." I said, chuckling. "And there's no way I'm letting you get the cheddar. It's already mine."

"We could work together, like teamsies!" Beth said brightly. "Duncan, you reach over and untie Stephanie. Then she undoes mine, and yours."

"Sure." Duncan said sarcastically. "And then you both leave me here and get a headstart."

I shrugged. "Wasn't thinking about it, but sure. Fine. I'd leave you both, but I want a bit of a challenge." I wasn't serious, but anyhow, Beth spoke up.

"I'll untie you, I swear." Beth said. Duncan and I weren't sure whether to believe her, but she insisted. "I don't have a mean bone in my body. I'm everybody's friend! I like everybody, they like me!"

Duncan said exactly what I was thinking. "Really? Even Heather? And Courtney always said you made her f-"

"No one cares what Courtney said." I snapped. "Are you gonna untie me, or not?"

Duncan sighed and reached over to me. Once I was free, I untied Beth first, because I knew I could trust her to untie Duncan instantly, but I wasn't so sure about vice versa. I mean, yeah, I could do it if it happened, but I probably wouldn't.

I managed to get a chance in the confessional. "Okay, so it's the final three. The semifinals. No, the finals – whoever gets to the end first wins." I grinned. "But no way I'm gonna burn out in the end, like Heather did last season." I smoothed down my hair to make a point. "Duncan, Beth, if you guys are watching, I think you're both awesome, but...feel free to quit, because there's no way I'm letting either of you get your hands on that money."

Once we were free, we heard a familiar voice. "Breakfast, anyone?"

It was Chef, with our breakfast – and it was actually good for once. We had fresh fruit and flapjacks, mainly. So much better than the final three breakfast Heather, Owen and Gwen got – those pancakes were as old as they could be without being past their use before date. But this food tasted like heaven after everything else we'd had to eat this season. Okay, we got some treats during the mystery challenge, and during the girls' alliance, Courtney had sneaked some of the gourmet food she got from dinner with the producers so Beth and I could try it – and it was good. But that was it, and I had been craving some real food.

It turned out to be pirate movie day, which meant that Chris was back in his pirate suit from the key-hunting challenge from last season, back when Heather kissed Trent.

And according to Chris, not only was it a pirate movie challenge, but then we had to go through all the challenges of the season. And I should mention here, that part was a lot more fun than the whole...er...cleaning up a bathroom, climbing up a greased flagpole and flying our flag (mine was blue), and pumping air into a cannon to shoot ourselves to the monster movie set.

So all I need to tell you is that Duncan finished first, I finished second, and Beth was still trying to get up the flagpole while I was getting into the cannon.

I landed in the right place, sprawled on the ground. Once I jumped up, I saw Chef running towards me. "Okay, the challenge." He glanced down at the cards he was holding, and then gave a sigh. "Look, I'm not reading all these again. First, I'm the host right now. So, either you do a challenge, or you answer a question and skip it."

I wondered what was going on. Chef and Chris had been arguing while we were doing the challenge. And now Chef was taking over hosting duties? Weird!

But I didn't show my feelings. I simply smiled and said "Okay. So, what's the first question?"

"Who got the boot after the alien movie challenge?"

I laughed. "That all you got? Bridgette and Geoff, duh! Because they did nothing but make out."

Chef nodded. "And as a follow-up question..." he checked his cue cards again. "What was the weirdest place those lovebirds ever made out?"

I paused, starting to hear something in my head. I had a memory of Bridgette talking about something. "We were caught in..."

"Chris' sunbed!" I said finally. "I remember Bridgette talking about that!"

So I got to skip that challenge. I could also tell Chef who Izzy believed she was a reincarnation of, but not where Trent's fear of mimes came from. I knew the names of Gwen's lizards, but Owen's favourite food stumped me (didn't he have at least fifty?). So yeah – I had to do some challenges, but I also skipped a fair few. I was glad to skip the prison movie challenge, but having the horse land on me instead of the other way round for the Western was no picnic. I also had to be a knight during the fairytale movie challenge, something I thought I'd missed out on (I couldn't tell Chef whose wedding Justin cried at).

Because of that, I caught up to Duncan pretty quickly, and we ended up having to do the space movie challenge one by one, also allowing Beth to catch up (she knew pretty much all the answers).

Now we just had one last challenge – the animal buddy challenge, and I knew this was dangerous. Duncan may have not been able to answer a single follow-up question so far, but we all knew that if Duncan knew about anyone in this game, it was Courtney.

Chris was back and asked us the question. We all knew who had gone, but then he asked the follow-up. "What was Courtney's band's name?"

"Who cares?" Beth burst out. "She shouldn't have been here in the first place. Launching a lawsuit against the show? That's poor sportsmanship and totally cheating and it makes Courtney barely a human being!"

"Wow, Beth." Chris responded. "Interesting. But that wasn't the question. Stephanie, want to try?"

I didn't know the answer any more than Beth did. But I didn't vent about Courtney. I said carelessly "Nah. I like Courtney and all, but I don't wanna try because I don't know the answer."

"Courtney's band was the Type A Psychotic Crazies." Duncan said triumphantly. "Later, losers!"

"Slow down, bro." Chris stopped him. "That was the girls' question. Your question is: What colour is Courtney thinking of?"

Okay, that was unfair.

"Right now?" Duncan stared. "Are you serious? I don't know. Uh...blue?"

Chris showed us Courtney's live reaction on an iPad. "Burnt sienna." she said. "Ugh, he doesn't know anything about me!"

"Did she go deaf before she heard that part?" I demanded. "Hey, Courtney, he just answered a question about you!"

Anyway, we all had to do the challenge, and because the animal buddy challenge was too easy apparently, Chris brought back the disaster obstacle course.

This time, the three of us decided to work together, as what Beth still called "teamsies".

"Contestants ready?" Chris said. "Good luck, suckers!"

As we ran, Chris shot stuff at us.

"You throw like a girl!" Duncan yelled.

"A five-year-old girl!" Beth added.

"Worse, you throw like my little sisters!" I called out (Hey, Maggie's nearly five..then again, she throws better than Lisa).

This made Chris even worse. But when it got to the end, we were all together, having helped each other through the challenge. At that point, I didn't mind if I didn't win. If I tied for first, I'd get a third of the money, right? After all, as Beth said "If nice girls can't finish first, they can at least tie for first!"

We all took the final T-bar together, Beth screaming the whole way down.

We saw the door. The door of winning.

"Every teen for themselves." I said out loud, but by the time I'd spoken, Beth and Duncan had already started running. There was no way I could've caught up to them.

"And the winner is..." I heard two voices say at the same time, just as Beth and Duncan finished at the same time, and I came in close behind.

We were standing in a TV studio. On either side sat eighteen of the old contestants. There was a couch in the middle, occupied by Geoff and Bridgette, who had spoken.

Yes. This was the Aftermath studio.

"It's a tie!" Bridgette exclaimed.

"So, uh..." Geoff frowned. "What exactly are we gonna do about the million dollars?"

"Can I at least sit down while you tell me I'm out?" I snapped, making the studio audience laugh. When I was given the okay, I went and took the spare seat next to Gwen. She was actually sitting next to Trent, which was surprising. I wondered if they were back together.

But there was no time to ask that now. Just because I was out didn't mean the game was over. Someone had to take the money home. Beth...or Duncan?

Stay tuned for the ending! I have decided what ending I'll use, but surprisingly, it's not the same as the one I have on DVD.
