And so, when Stephanie finally gets home...and OK, I know the Goosebumps movie was a while ago, but it was one of the few films I willingly saw in theatres (mainly for nostalgia), so why not use it?

Thanks for reviewing, DannyPhantom619, abbey290901 and SuperKitty4789.

I never thought I'd miss Springfield, but when I looked out of the airplane window and saw the power plant's billowing steam and even managed to spot the statue of Jebediah Springfield in the town square, I felt a sense of nostalgia for home overwhelm me.

It was actually great to see my family again. Maggie ran to me the minute I was out with my bags, and I picked her up and spun her around.

"Have you grown since I left, Mags?" I teased. "You're getting heavy!"

"Am not!" my little sister argued, clinging to my hand as I put her down and went to hug the rest of my family in turn.

"Did you get all my letters?" Lisa asked anxiously. "I wasn't sure if they gave them to you."

"And did you get the care packages I sent you?" Mom asked.

"Don't worry." I assured them. "Chris may have been a jerk, but he wasn't totally heartless. He gave us the stuff from home."

"Oh, good." Mom said with relief.

"So, who won the second season?" Bart asked. "We got up to the episode when Courtney got eliminated." He looked hopeful. "Was it you?"

I gave a sigh. "No. I made it to the semifinals – you know, whoever got to the Aftermath studio fastest won...somehow, Duncan and Beth both got ahead of me. Chris let everyone ask a question and then vote. They got an almost equal amount, but Duncan got one more."

Bart grinned. "Cool! But it sucks that you didn't win a mil."

I finally went back to school after that, and caught up with the rest of my classmates, although I kept in touch with most of my friends on the show. I got all the gossip about Gwen and Heather's blog war (I kept up with both blogs, and while Heather's was mean, her portrayal of Katie and Sadie was pretty funny: "Like, oh my gosh, no singing? That is so sad, don't you think, Sadie? I know, it's like, oh my gosh, totally! Isn't it awesome how the same we are? Now look at my butt!" I'm not even joking). But the most interesting was Harold, Justin, Trent and Cody's short-lived band, the Drama Brothers. Their hit was terribly written, but they still got a ton of fans. Justin was still super lazy, and Harold got all defensive about his beatboxing, but Trent and Cody were pretty chill and cool, up until they broke up.

I was invited to the Gemmie Awards in Canada at the beginning of the winter, but I couldn't go. However, that was where the third season began. Chris was planning a third season with fifteen of the old competitors – a trip around the world, and just before the season began airing in the USA, I got an email from the host himself: I thought it would be cool to do an episode in Springfield. You got a lot of attention from the fans last season. So...can you give me some stuff that we could use in a Springfield-related challenge?

I thought about it and emailed back: The nuclear power plant is toxic. We were once put in a dome because of too much pollution. We have a supervillain in jail...anything else you want?

Chris' next email said: Perfect! Okay, so we'll do that in the sixth episode, not counting Aftermath shows. Teams must brave the power plant and retrieve an item from...the boss' office?

I giggled and wrote back: Good luck on getting Burns to let you do anything at the plant. He's the meanest millionaire I know.

But if anyone could convince him, Chris could. After the teams grabbed whatever the item was, they would have to take an obstacle course around several landmarks I gave Chris, where he'd set up mini-challenges which one indivdual would do – each person had to do at least one (there were five teammates on each of the three teams right now, so I chose five locations...whoever lost teammates would have to do more than one: Springfield Elementary, the church, the Kwik-E-Mart, the Android's Dungeon, and finally my house) and whoever completed the last challenge first won for their team.

Also, Chris let me choose what to do for my house, so I said to get into my house from the treehouse, steal a can of beer, make sure Dad knew it was gone, then get out of the house to the treehouse and out before he caught them. The winners would be the ones who had the whole team in the driveway of our house first.

I also offered to let them come to the house for an hour. Please, Chris? One hour wouldn't hurt.

As it was, Chris liked my idea enough. Okay, then...you'll just love meeting the two newbies coming with us this time!

So it was decided. The cast of Total Drama World Tour would be coming to Springfield! I told my family immediately, and we all saw the first episode together, getting a handle on who was on that season and who wasn't. Chris and the cast would be arriving to film the sixth episode in a week's time. And the newbies of course – one guy and one girl.

I recognized the new girl instantly – she was the vlogger whose vlogs I'd looked at, but couldn't stand. She'd been on the Reunion Special, interviewing the competitors for Celebrity Manhunt – and it turned out she'd been getting dirt on everyone from the cast from Izzy, who she'd been paying so Izzy could pay off the RCMP. I hadn't caught her name until now, though...it was Sierra, by the way. And she hadn't changed one bit. It was clear she was a fan. The first thing she said was "Oh my gosh, I love you guys and this is the greatest day of my life and..." she started hyperventilating. I'm serious. "Anyone got a paper bag I can breathe into?" Then she caught side of her favourite contestant and gave another squeal. "Oh my gosh, Cody! I've dreamt of this moment, only you weren't wearing a shirt!"

The new guy was a bit more interesting, since I'd seen him on the special, but he'd acted very different, sort of arrogant and a bit of a jerk. His name was Alejandro, and one look at his face made me wish Justin was back for Season 3 (yeah, he wasn't). I'd love to compare those faces, because Alejandro was major eye candy for the girls. Heck, the first thing he did in this season was notice some of the others had tripped, and then help Izzy and Bridgette to their feet, followed by Ezekiel and Tyler. And Tyler's reaction was to say firmly "I like girls!"

Speaking of which, it was nice to see who was back this time. Sadly, Courtney and Heather (now with hair extensions, tied into a tiny ponytail) were back, but Duncan, Gwen, Leshawna, Izzy, Lindsay and Bridgette were all back for the third time. I hoped they'd all stay on the show long enough to get to Springfield. People who hadn't come back for Season 2 but were back included Noah, Cody, Tyler and Zeke. Owen and DJ were also back, Owen screaming about how he couldn't go on a plane, scared of flying. Harold was also back with his weird snippets of knowledge, like what the fear of airsickness was.

Which prompted Noah's "Keep up the fascinating facts, and I'm going to be aeronauseous all over you."

Yeah, that was it. Geoff, Beth, Katie, Sadie, Eva, Justin and Trent were left on the Aftermath show.

Dad and Bart complained about the show, because it was a musical. Everyone had to sing in each show, and they didn't appreciate the on-the-spot number about flying in a plane.

"It's impressive." Lisa commented. "Not everyone could just make up a song on the spot like they did."

"I agree with Duncan." Bart commented, referring to his only line in the song. "This sucks."

"Yeah, it's stupid, all that singing." Dad agreed.

I rolled my eyes. "We already had this conversation with Paint Your Wagon, like, three years ago. Remember? You sing all the time, and we agreed that a clip show is worse than a musical."

"I think it was a nice touch." Mom added. "They're all good singers."

I hummed a few notes and then sang Noah's line. "Come fly with us, come die with us...yeah, good point about this show, Noah-it-all."

Lisa raised her eyebrows. "I thought you were friends with Noah after the TDI special."

"Friends is strong." I told her. "Friendly is more accurate. It'll be nice to see him again, though."

We got to see two more episodes before the cast arrived in Springfield. There were eliminations in all of them. In the first one, Duncan refused to sing a reprise when Chris demanded it, and was kicked out because of it. In the first team challenge, Ezekiel lost the challenge for Team Victory (him, Harold, Bridgette, DJ, Leshawna and Lindsay) and they kicked him off. DJ would've been kicked off in their Japanese episode, but Harold volunteered for elimination, not without a little talk about how women like Leshawna loved guys with honour.

Oh yeah, I should mention that. I was glad to see some of the confessionals, so I knew where things stood. At the end of the second episode, Alejandro had made a confessional that made it clear that he wasn't going to play fair, that compared to him, Heather would appear to be a saint. Then he talked Harold into eliminating himself without actually mentioning it.

I should also mention DJ and his "animal curse". He'd patted a mummy dog that had disintegrated in Egypt, and after hurting a seagull and a panda attacking him so much it exhausted itself, he was convinced that the mummy had cursed him to hurt animals for the rest of his life. Lisa especially found this distressing, since she was an environmentally-conscious person and cared about animals as much as DJ himself. "That must be the worst feeling ever!"

There were three teams. Team Victory I already mentioned, but there was also Team Amazon – consisting of Heather, Courtney, Gwen, Sierra and Cody. Izzy was originally on that team, but she swapped because she wanted to be with Owen and Sierra wanted to be with Cody.

Owen's team also consisted of Alejandro, Tyler, Noah, and of course, Izzy. However, when Sierra had been on the team, she'd chosen the worst name: Team Chris Is Really Really Really Really Hot. Made even worse by the fact that it was mostly guys on that team.

Maggie didn't really concentrate on the show properly, and Mom had reservations about letting her watch, so she wasn't so interested in the gang coming to Springfield, but everyone else was. I couldn't wait to see everyone!

But there was also something weird that happened. It was just after the first episode, actually. It was a normal weekend, and Mom had decided we had to go on some "family outing" (okay, I love Mom, but she still hasn't learned that she's the only one who actually wants to go out with everyone else). This particular day, it was one of those dull winter days with no snow and grey skies, so we decided to go to the Googolplex, and as usual, Mom and Dad went to one movie, and I was meant to go to the same movie as my thirteen minus siblings (meaning we couldn't get into most of the good movies).

Once Mom was gone, I looked at my siblings. "Look, can't I just go to my own choice of movie and just pretend I was with you?"

Lisa narrowed her eyes at me, but she shrugged. "Whatever. I wouldn't want to go to a horror movie anyway – at least, not the kind you watch."

Bart shrugged, too. "Hey, we're just going to see the Goosebumps Movie, so..."

As a matter of fact, I did want to see that movie after all, so I went with them. And that was when it happened. We only got in as the opening credits were rolling, and I didn't sit with my siblings. I was on the more deserted side of the theatre, when I happened to glance up at a guy who was at the end of the aisle. I blinked. I could've sworn he looked familiar.

Then he turned, saw me, and I did another double take. But in seconds, he was out of his seat and nearly out of the theatre. True, he wasn't wearing a skull tee or Converse, but I knew that face shape. I knew that hair. Heck, I knew those piercings. And I knew that Bart was going to be so jealous when I told him.

How in the HECK did Duncan get from Egypt to Springfield, and why didn't he go back to Canada, anyway?

World Tour, here we come! And yeah, I figured throwing in a Duncan sighting might be cool. If that sighting from Texas in the second Aftermath was legit, who's to say he didn't go to other places in the USA?
