Turn 2; First Duel
Outside the school, Buzz was waiting for Wendy, when she walked out with Sofia. Buzz saw her and said. "Hello Wendy, how was your first day of school?"
"Well…" Wendy said before she explained what happened in the last chapter. Buzz then said pulling out a smartphone that had wheels on the case. "I understand, but you better let David know." He then called David and gave the phone to Wendy. David picked it up and said. "Hello? Buzz?"
"Hello, David. It's me Wendy."
"Wendy? What are you doing with Buzz phone?"
"I need to tell you that I won't be at your house until later."
"Why?"
"My friend Sofia is helping me get ready for a, uh.. duel! I'm having tomorrow."
"OK, I was going to show you around town, but Abby isn't letting me go home any time soon. And I'm surprised glad you made a friend already. Can you give the phone back to Buzz?"
"Sure." Wendy said gave it back to Buzz. Buzz then said to David. "Yeah Boss?"
"Give Wendy's friend your phone number, so that way you can get Wendy when she is ready to come home."
"You got it sir."
"Good now I better hang up before Abby comes back."
"Too late." Abby said on David's side of the phone call. Buzz then ended the call, not letting Wendy and Sofia know that David was in trouble. Buzz then said to the girls, laughing a little. "Good luck Wendy with the Deck building. And Sofia here is my number." Sofia pulled out her phone and Buzz sent his contact information to her. "Text me when you and Wendy are done."
"I will." Sofia said as they both put away their phones. Buzz then said as he started to walk away. "See you later Wendy."
"By Buzz." Wendy said before Buzz was out of eye sight. Sofia then said to Wendy. "Come on, my house is this way." Wendy nodded and followed Sofia to her house.
*Magic navigation miracle creation. Suddenly the world's in an uproar. Tiny revolution, a little evolution. Giving off light in a split second.* Wendy, who now had a green circle on her left arm was looking over Hokusei on a hill as the sun started to set, with Sofia without the glasses and with a boy about her age with blonde short hair, a scar across his right eye, black eyes and was wearing black leather clothes. *The dream I'd always carried. Hidden away in my pocket.* Wendy then put a hand on her Fairy Tail mark and was feeling sad. *Is now unfolding before my eyes. I've been reborn.* Sofia then came up to Wendy and gave her a big hug, which made Wendy smile. *And the world's rule's are about to change.* During a raging thunder storm, people in masked clocks were walking down the street, leading them was a man with a yokai fox mask. In the city Wendy visited three locations. A school, an old mansion and a beach. *Magic navigation miracle creation.* Wendy then turned on the circle and out came an aqua blue blade. She then placed a card on it and a blue dragon with green fairy wings and then it fired a green light from its wings at an orange dragon wearing gold armor in front of the guy Wendy was with earlier. *Have a heart that believes.* Then Sofia was in front of a lady with white hair, a black dress and had a little fairy next to her. On her right was a girl about Wendy's age with black hair, purple classes, and was wearing a blue dress in front of a twisted butler in red, green and blue. And on her left was a girl about Wendy's age with long brown hair, wearing a white long sleeve turtleneck in front of a machine that looked like a dragon. *Tiny revolution, a little evolution. No doubt at any time. C'mon, shake off hesitation and anxiety.* Wendy was then flying in the air on an aqua colored board that had a small jet engine under it. *With this hope in your chest, go forth to a light-filled tomorrow. Hello! My World! That's magic!* Kotodama was out of the card and fired red and blue magical beams out of her staff, the beams joined together and then in a flash multiple wizards appeared around her. *Hello! New World! Just like a pendulum.* Watching them was David, a man that looked like him, but was wearing a green suit and a woman with long blonde hair, blue eyes and wearing a yellow dress. *It keeps on swinging.* Then Wendy and a boy about Wendy's age with brown skin, black hair and eyes and was wearing brown leather armor, were trying to rescue a girl about Wendy's age wearing a white wedding dress in a tower. *And doesn't stop, not for a second. I'm rewriting that magic now. Let's head into the future.* Wendy then starts to fly over the horizon and the words Fairy Duelist.

After walking for a few minutes, they arrived at a building that had a house in the back and a card shop that said "Duelist Soul" in the front. Sofia then said to Wendy. "And this is my place." She then walked into the shop. "Mom, I'm home."
"Just a minute, sweetie." A woman's voice said from somewhere in the store. Wendy followed Sofia and saw a woman with long blonde hair, blue eyes and wearing a yellow dress, on the phone. The lady then said into the phone that had stars on it. "So when will you be able to pick it up? Tomorrow around 1:00 PM? Ok, see you then." She then hung up her phone and said to Sofia. "How was school, my little star?" She then pinched Sofia's cheeks. Sofia then said, trying to stop her. "Mom, not a star yet."
"You'll always be a star in my eyes."
"Uh… Hello?" Wendy said, catching the woman's attention. She let go of Sofia's cheeks and said to Wendy. "Oh, sorry for ignoring you. What can I say, I really love my daughter. How can I help?"
"Mom, this is Wendy, she is new at Hokusei Middle School. And remember that bully I told you about?"
"You mean the one that dares hurt my little star? Yeah, I remember her."
"Well, Wendy challenges her to a duel and she doesn't have a Dual Disk or a Deck." Sofia said and her mom said, surprised that she doesn't have either of them. "Ok, then we need to get started. Sofia, you get your spare Duel Disk from your room. Wendy, you and I will find you a Deck."
"Yes ma'am." Wendy said and the woman said. "I appreciate the manners, but please call me Olivia." Olivia said as Sofia left them and Olivia took to a spot that had a bunch of different colored boxes, each one had a deck inside. Olivia then said to Wendy. "Ok Wendy, please pick one."
"Ok." Wendy said before she picked up two. She then put one down and was going to open it, but Olivia stopped her and said putting them back. "What are you doing?"
"Seeing what you have?"
"That's not allowed here."
"Why?"
"Because this is Duelist Soul. Here when we choose a deck, we close our eyes and listen with our souls."
"Listen with our souls?"
"Yes, if you don't then can't hear the Spirits that have a connection with? Now close your eyes and listen." Oliva said and since there were Spirits in her homeworld, Wendy just closed her eyes. Soon she heard what sounded like cry's from somewhere. She opened her eyes and said looking around. "What was that?"
"The Spirits are crying out for you. Now try again, and then try to reach for them." Oliva said and Wendy closed her eyes again. She heard the cries again and reached out for it. When she touched a box, the crying stopped. Wendy opened her eyes and saw her hand on a blue box. Wendy took it and Sofia said returning with a Duel Disk that looked like a green circle. "I'm back. Did Mom help you find a deck?"
"Yes, she did?" Wendy said, showing off the box. Oliva then said to them. "Now let's get started."
"I'm home." Ashley said entering her apartment and no one was inside. Inside Ashley turned on the TV and started to cook some instant noodles. On the TV was a talk show that had a woman and a man. As Ashley cooked her noodles, she heard the woman on the TV say. "And what are your opinions on the topic of Spirits, Mr. Kuin?"
"Spirits are a bunch of mambo jumbo. And Duelists that believe it are weak."
"So in your opinion for a strong Duelist?"
"Someone who has powerful cards and doesn't give your opponent a chance to fight back." Mr. Kuin said as Ashley finished cooking her noodles. She then put it done on the table and the doorbell rang. She went to the door and looked through the peephole and saw a delivery man and he said. "Delivery!" She then opened the door and said. "Hello."
"Hello, I'm looking for Ashley Kuin?"
"That's me."
"Sigh here." He said giving her a clipboard with a piece of paper. Ashley took it and signed it. He then took the clipboard and gave her the packets. She then closed the door and walked back to the table. She put the packets down and heard the TV say. "So a more personal question? Do you have a family?"
"No, I don't." Ashley's father said and Ashley started to cry. She wiped away her tears and said. "Once I become the strongest Duelist in the world, you have to acknowledge me. And no one will get in my way, not Wendy, not Sofia, not anybody." Ashley then opened the packets and got ready for her duel against Wendy. At the same time, Wendy was getting ready for her duel, but unlike Ashley, she was having trouble. Right now, Olivia was cooking dinner for them and Sofia was trying to teach Wendy the rules, trying being the key word. Sofia then said to Wendy. "No Spells and Traps are not the same."
"Alright, that's enough training, dinner is almost ready." Olivia said in the kitchen. Wendy and Sofia put the cards away and Olivia finished cooking. Olivia made them pork chops and took a seat on the table. After Wendy took a bite, she smiled and said. "This is good, Olivia."
"Thanks, I just wish my husband and son were here to eat it."
"Oh…? Are they dead?"
"No, Mom is just being dramatic." Sofia said, putting down her fork and knife and pulling out her phone. She then said showing off a map of their world, which was eight huge islands around a giant island. "You see my Dad travels a lot thanks to his job, and my big brother is a collage student, studying in Minami." She pointed to the island in the south. "And my Dad is working somewhere in Azuma." She pointed to the island in the east. "Now let's stop talking and start eating." Sofia said, putting her phone away. After dinner, Wendy and Sofia went back to training and later Sofia said to Wendy. "Well Wendy, I would love to help you more, but it is getting late. I'll call Buzz to pick you up." Sofia said as she got up and pulled out her phone. Wendy picked up her card and still looked worried. Olivia came over to her and said. "Still nervous?"
"Yeah?"
"Well don't be. You have your cards and Sofia watching your back." Olivia said and Wendy felt a little less nervous. The doorbell rang and Olivia went to the door. She opened it and on the other side was Buzz. Buzz then said to Olivia. "Hello, I'm Buzz. I am here to pick up Wendy."
"Wendy, your rides here!" Olivia yelled for Wendy. Wendy heard her and then said goodbye to Sofia and Olivia. "Oh, by the way, David said he won't be home. So don't turn off all of the lights." Buzz said as he drove to David's house. After Buzz dropped her off at David's house and went to her room. On the bed was another letter. She opened it and it said. "Hello Wendy, I heard you were going to duel someone tomorrow. I recommend putting Kotodama into your Deck and when you are in trouble, play her and use her ability. Good Luck." Wendy then pulled out Kotodama from her back pocket. Wendy looked at it, but it only had the picture and name. Wendy decided to ignore the letter and put Kotodama into her school backpack. She then went to bed and had a dream about her friends back home. In the morning Wendy woke up and went down to the kitchen. Inside the kitchen, she saw breakfast was already made. She looked around and saw David sleeping on the couch. Wendy decided to eat the breakfast as quietly as she could and left for school. At school Wendy ran into Ashley. Ashley knocked her down and said. "I hope you're ready to lose after school today."
"We'll see." Sofia said, appearing next to Wendy and helping her up. Sofia then said to Wendy. "Are you ok?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." Wendy said and as they walked to class. "Good morning everyone." Wendy said before she walked and then tripped on her own two feet. As her cards fell out of her backpack, her class beside Sofia laughed at her. Sofia got down and said. "Are you ok Wendy?"
"Yeah I'm fine." Wendy said getting up. Sofia then said, picking up Wendy's cards. "Here let me help you." Sofia put all of her cards back into the card box, even Kotodama. She then said to Wendy as she gave her cards back to her. "Be careful with them, you'll need them later."
"Right, thanks Sofia." Wendy said, taking the cards. Then class started and everyone got into their seats. During the school day, both Wendy and Ashley were starting to feel anxious. Wendy because she still didn't know what she was doing, and Ashley didn't know why, but she had a bad feeling. After school, Ashley waited for Wendy in the Music Club room and Wendy was outside of it. With Sofia's help, Wendy got her Duel Disk ready and put her card in the deck slot. Wendy walked in and Ashley said to her. "Looks like you didn't chicken out."
"I won't back down from a bully like you."
"Big words from a little girl."
"Your not that older then us." Sofia said and Ashley said. "Let's see if you both can keep talking like that after I win." Ashley then showing off a yellow Duel Disk. Wendy showed off her Duel Disk and Sofia said. "Good luck Wendy."
"She's going to need more than luck. Let's Duel!" Ashley said as both Duel Disks turned on. Wendy's was aqua blue and Ashley's was red. Then a circle appeared around Wendy, Sofia and Ashley and then they were in a really big classroom. Wendy then said to Sofia. "What just happened?"
"Clam down Wendy. When two or more Duel Disks are turned on they send the Duelists and anyone close to them to Mirror Battlefield."
"Mirror Battlefield?"
"An area that is like the location where the Duel Disk was activated."
"Yeah, this is Dueling 101, if you don't know that then you are doomed. Especially since I'm going first." Ashley said as she drew five cards from her Deck.
(Time out! Before we start, here are some rules. I will keep track of everything with turns changes the most. I also won't reveal the text of cards in a Duel, but I will include them at the bottom of each of my chapters that have a Duel after the preview. Also I will mark the OC card with this simple (OC), so you know what's real and what's not. And one more thing. I'm not going to focus too hard on Forbidden and Limited Cards, so don't complain that I used the cards in that list or more than I'm allowed to. Time in!)
Ashley's Hand 5 + LP 8000 / Wendy's Hand 5 + LP 8000 / Turn 1
Ashley looked at her card and then said. "First I played a card face down and then I summoned Fire Princess." (Ashley's Hand 3) Ashley said as a card appeared in her Spell & Trap Zone and a lady with gray hair, a red robe and a staff appeared on her side of the field.
Fire Princess / Fire / Level 4 / Pyro, Effect / ATK 1300 / DEF 1500
"Next I play the Spell Card Goblin Thief." (Ashley's Hand 2) Ashley said playing a Spell Card from her Hand. The Spell card had an armored knight dragging goods down a road, when a goblin stole a red jar with a smile in the back. "Thanks to this card you lose 500 Life Points…" Then the card shot out a yellow light at Wendy (Wendy LP 8000 - 500 = 7500) "Then I gain that 500 Life Points." The Spell Card then showered Ashley with little light balls. (Ashley 8000 + 500 = 8500) "And if that won't get you fired up, maybe this will. Whenever I gain Life Points, you lose 500 Life Points thanks to Fire Princess ability." Ashley said as Fire Princess charged up her staff with fire. Fire Princess then launched it at Wendy. (Wendy LP 7500 - 500 = 7000) Wendy was then knocked down and Ashley said laughing. "I end my turn, and if you can't handle me in the first turn, then this is going to be a short match."
Ashley's Hand 2 + LP 8500 / Wendy's Hand 5 + LP 7000 / Turn 2
"Wendy, the damage isn't real! So get back up and fight!" Sofia said as Wendy got up and said to Sofia. "Good to know. It's my move right?"
"Yes, now draw a card." Sofia said as Wendy drew a card. (Wendy's Hand 6) Wendy looked at her hand and said playing her cards. "I play this monster face down." (Wendy's Hand 5) Wendy said as a sheep appeared on her field and its white fur had numbers and letters in it.
Beast Code; Sheep / Earth / Level 4 / Cyberse, Effect / ATK 800 / DEF 1600
"Wendy, if you want to play a Monster in Defense Mode it has to be Face-Down and in a rectangle position, not Face-Up and straight. We covered this last night." Sofia said and Wendy remembered. Ashley said laughing. "That was such a newbie mistake."
"Ignore her Wendy. Try playing another card." Sofia said before Wendy looked at her cards again. "Uh? Uh…? Ah! I play one card Face-Down and end my turn." (Wendy's Hand 4) Wendy said as a card appeared on her side of the field.
Ashley's Hand 2 + LP 8500 / Wendy's Hand 4 + LP 7000 / Turn 3
"I draw." Ashley said drawing a new card. (Ashley's Hand 3) "Now let me show you a real monster. I sacrifice Fire Princess to Tribute Summon King Pyron." Ashley said as Fire Princess turned into little balls of fire and landed on the ground. Then a blazing inferno appeared were the balls of fire landed and out came a person with a cape covered in flames.
King Pyron / Fire / Level 5 / Pyro, Gemini, Effect / ATK 1500 / DEF 500
"And now I activate my King's ability. When he is Normal Summoned you lose 1000 Life Points." Ashley said as King Pyron fired a big fireball at Wendy. (Wendy LP 7000 - 1000 = 6000) "Now King Pyron, burn that sheep with Royal Flame Strike!" Ashley said as King Pyron made two fireballs and fired it at Beast Code; Sheep. "Hold on, I play my Face-Down." Wendy said trying to activate her Face-Down, but it didn't work. Sofia then said to Wendy. "Wendy, that Face-Down isn't a Normal Spell Card, is it?"
"It is, why?"
"You can't play that kind of Card on your opponent's turn."
"Then what was I thinking about?"
"A Trap Card, like this one." Ashley said, revealing her Face-Down. Her Face-Down had a man with a bunch of coffins and tombstones. "I'll tell you about it after your sheep is burnt to a crisp." Ashley said as the two fireballs became one and hit Beast Code; Sheep. (Wendy LP 6000 - 700 = 5300) As Wendy monster was encased in fire, Ashley said to her. "Now my Trap Card Coffin Seller activates. Whenever a monster you control is sent to the Graveyard, you take another 300 points of damage." Ashley said and the Trap Card did nothing. Ashley then looked at it and said trying to kick it. "Why isn't work?"
"Maybe because Beast Code; Sheep is still on the field." Sofia said as the flames died down. Wendy and Ashley saw Beast Code; Sheep was still on the field, but it lost its fur. "What's going on?" Ashley said, opening a screen on her Duel Disk. She then read Beast Code; Sheep text and said after finishing reading the text. "You are lucky that your sheep can't be destroyed in battle once per turn, but that luck won't last. I end my turn."
Ashley's Hand 2 + LP 8500 / Wendy's Hand 4 + LP 5300 / Turn 4
"Ok, it's my turn. I draw." Wendy said, drawing a new card and her sheep fur started to grow back. (Wendy's Hand 5) Wendy then looked at her hand and was still nervous. Ashley and Sofia saw this and Ashley was happy to do nothing, Sofia on the other hand said to her. "Wendy, you really need to come down!"
"But I…"
"You can't think straight, if you are panicking. So please take a deep breath and calm down." Sofia said and Wendy took a deep breath. Sofia then said to her. "Are you feeling better now?"
"A little bit."
"Good, now Ashley's strategy is to defeat you with big effective damage, so you need to stop her from doing that."
"Ok, how do I do that?"
"I don't know, it's your Deck." Sofia said and Wendy turned to her cards again. Wendy carefully looked at them and came up with a plan. "First I switch my Sheep into Defense Mode." Wendy said switching Sheep card positions and it entered a defense stance. "Next I play another card Face-Down and summon Warrior Code; Ninja." (Wendy's Hand 3) Wendy then summoned a Ninja in a standard black ninja outfit, but it had numbers and letters all over it.
Warrior Code; Ninja / Dark / Level 2 / Cyberse, Effect / ATK 700 / DEF 0
"And next I play the Equip Spell Weapon Code; Hurricane Sword and equip it onto my Ninja." (Wendy's Hand 2) Wendy said, giving Ninja a green sword that had a hurricane on it. "Now I'll have my Ninja attack." Wendy said as Ninja ran at King Pyron. "You can't beat a king with that kind of strength." Ashley said as King Pyron fired fireballs at Ninja. Ninja dodge them all with great speed. King Pyron got mad and fired a really big one. It then hit the ground and Ninja disappeared. Wendy then said to Ashley. "Who said I was attacking your King?"
"What?"
"Since we both have monsters with over 700 Attack Points, my Ninja can attack you directly." Wendy said as Ninja appeared behind Ashley. He then attacked Ashley with his sword. (Ashley's LP 8500 - 700 = 7800) The force of the attack knocked Ashley down and Wendy said. "And because I dealt you Battle Damage, Hurricane Sword activated." The Ninja sword started to glow. "Now I can send your Coffin Seller back to your Deck." The sword then shot out wind and Coffin Seller got blown away. The card then landed in Ashley's Deck and Ashley said getting up. "That was a lucky break."
"We'll see about that. I end my turn." Wendy said as Ninja jumped back onto Wendy field.
Ashley's Hand 2 + LP 7800 / Wendy's Hand 2 + LP 5300 / Turn 5
"Yes we will. I draw!" Ashley said, drawing another card. (Ashley's Hand 3) Ashley put the card in her hand and said. "Since King Pyron is a Gemini monster, I can Normal Summon him again, so take another 1000 points of damage." King Pyron then hit Wendy with another fireball. (Wendy LP 5300 - 1000 = 4300) "Now attack that Ninja." King Pyron then made two fireballs and fired them at Ninja. Wendy then said showing a Trap Card that had a different color. "Not so fast, I play the Trap Card Spirit Defense. Thanks to my trap, your attack is negated, I just need to send a Spirit Code to my Graveyard." (Wendy's Hand 1) Then a little fire spirit with blue eyes appeared on the field and turned into a red wall, blocking the attack.

It then turned back to a spirit and Wendy said. "Now I play Spirit Code; Fiery ability. When this spirit is sent from my Hand to the Graveyard, I can destroy one monster you control." Fiery then made a red circle around King Pyron and a wall of fire surrounded him. When the flames died down King Pyron was gone. Ashley got mad and looked at her Hand. She then said playing a card. "I end my turn by playing this card Face-Down."
Ashley's Hand 2 + LP 7800 / Wendy's Hand 2 + LP 4300 / Turn 5
"Ok, I draw." Wendy said drawing a card. (Wendy's Hand 2) "And I play my Trap Card, Metaverse." Ashley said, showing a Trap Card with a field that looked like data. "Thanks to this card, I can add one Field Spell to my Hand." Ashley Deck then showed one card and Ashley took it. (Ashley's Hand 3) "You'll see what it is when it is my turn." Ashley said before Sofia said. "Good job Wendy, Ashley field is now empty, so you can attack directly and deal some major damage."
"So I should summon another monster?"
"Yes."
"Ok, but which one."
"One that has a lot of Attack Points."
"Ok, then I summon Beast Code; Wolf." (Wendy's Hand 1) Wendy said as she summoned a white wolf that had a dog collar with a vile of red numbers and letters and a vile of blue numbers and letters.
Beast Code; Wolf / Earth / Level 4 / Cyberse, Effect / ATK 1800 DEF 500
"Next I switch my Sheep into Attack Mode and attack you with all of my monsters." Wendy said as all of her monsters ran at Ashley. Sheep rammed into her. (Ashley's LP 7800 - 800 = 7000) Ninja slashed her with his sword. (Ashley's LP 7000 - 700 = 6300) And Wolf slashed her with its claws. (Ashley's LP 6300 - 1800 = 4500) All of those attacks knocked her down and Wendy said. "Now we both have almost the same number of Life Points."
"Not for long." Ashley said getting up and Wendy said. "Ok, I'll end my turn."
Ashley's Hand 3 + LP 4500 / Wendy's Hand 1 + LP 4300 / Turn 6
"I draw. And play the Spell Card Dark Hole!" Ashley said, showing a card that had a black hole on it. "Thanks to this card, all of monsters on the field is destroyed."
"But you don't have any monsters:"
"So what. My spell is still active." Ashley said as the card started to pull all of Wendy Monsters into it and then disappeared. "Next I play the Spell Card Monster Reborn." (Ashley's Hand 2) Ashley said, showing a card that had an aqua colored holy cross on it. "This card lets me summon King Pyron back from my Graveyard." Ashley said as a black portal opened up and King Pyron jumped out of it. "Next I play his ability. So lose another 1000 Life Points." King Pyron then fired another fireball at Wendy. (Wendy LP 4300 - 1000 = 3300) "Next I play the Field Spell Molten Destruction." (Ashley's Hand 1) Then the area around them turned into an active volcano. Wendy then said, trying not to step into the lava. Sofia then said to her. "Wendy calm down, it's not real lava."
"Really?"
"Yeah, but be careful. This Field Spell gives all Fire monsters 500 Attack Points, but loses 400 Defense Points and her King Pyron is a Fire monster." Sofia said as lava from the volcano entered King Pyron and it roared with power. (King Pyron ATK 1500 + 500 = 2000 / DEF 500 - 400 = 100) "Now King Pyron, attack her directly." King Pyron then made another fireball that got stronger thanks to the lava and it knocked Wendy down. (Wendy LP 3300 - 2000 = 1300) "I end my turn, and in a few more turns you will lose this duel."
"I won't lose. I draw." Wendy said drawing a card.
Ashley's Hand 1 + LP 4500 / Wendy's Hand 2 + LP 1300 / Turn 7
Wendy looked at the card and saw it was Kotodama, but unlike last night, it showed its level, but it was too high to summon. "Oh no." Wendy said letting Sofia and Ashley know that she didn't have a good draw. Ashley then laughed and said. "Looks like I'll end this next turn. So you better get ready to be my punching bag."
"Don't give up Wendy!" Sofia yelled at Wendy. Wendy turned to Sofia and said. "But I have no way to defeat her King Pyron."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"What about the card on the field?" Sofia said and Wendy remembered the card she placed Face-Down during her first turn. Wendy opened her screened and saw the card she placed Face-Down. She read it and said. "I play my Face-Down, the Spell Card Summon Draw!" The Face-Down showed a Duelist drawing a Card that shined a brown, blue, and red light. "By sending one Card from my Hand to the Graveyard, I can draw another card, if it is a Monster I can summon it, but if it is not a monster then I can't summon anything this turn." (Wendy's Hand 1)
"Then draw your Card." Ashley said not to worry about it. Wendy was a little bit nervous, but she had to draw and believe it was a monster. "You can do it Wendy." Sofia said make Wendy feel better. Wendy then draws her Card and looks at it. "Yes, it is a Beast Code; Rabbit, a Monster Card!" Wendy said, showing a white rabbit that had a number and letters on its tail. Wendy then summoned it and it started to shake its tail.

"What's going on?" Ashley said annoyed by its actions. Wendy said, cracking a smile. "If Rabbit is the only card on my side of the field when it's summoned, I can summon one or two copies of it from my Deck." Wendy said as her Deck showed where the other copies were. Wendy grabbed them and then summoned them. "Next I sacrifice all three of my Rabbits to summon Kotodama, The Spellcaster Type-Maker." (Wendy's Hand 0) Wendy said as the Rabbits turned into little balls of light and then a ray of light appeared on the field. Kotodama then appeared out of the light and was double the size of everyone there.

"Three sacrifices and 0 Attack Points. You should have summoned a Link monster or something else." Ashley said and Wendy said after reading the text. "I play her first ability. By lowering my Life Points to 100, I can add a one Spellcaster Type monster to my Hand or Extra Deck." (Wendy LP 1300 - 1200 = 100) Then a blinding light surrounded them. Soon Wendy was in a room full of stars that had two pillars and a ring in the middle of the room.
"Welcome to the Maker's Room." A female voice echoed around the room. Wendy looked around, but didn't see anyone. The voice then said. "Please step up to the pillars and touch them." Wendy didn't see a way out and didn't know what else to do, so she followed what the voice said.
Wendy touched them and the ring started to glow. "Now imagine a person or thing that will help you fight back against this lady of fire." Wendy then thought about the one guy that not only could fight fire, but make him stronger. Then the ring started to glow and spin around with blinding speed. In the middle a light started to form and when it stopped, two metal arms flattened the light and turned it into a Card.
It then flew to Wendy and she then returned to the duel. Wendy didn't see it in her Hand, so it was in her Extra Deck. Wendy then said to Ashley. "Now I play Kotodama second ability, by banshing this card. I can Special Summon the monster I just added to my Extra Deck." Kotodama then shot out red and blue light from her staff and they collided. "I Special Summon from my Extra Deck, Link 3 Fairy Code; Natsu!" Wendy said as Kotodama disappeared, but a man with pink hair, wearing martial arts clothes, a white dragon style scarf with fairy wings that had archaic symbols on his back.

"And thanks to your Field Spell, he gains an extra 500 Attack Points." Wendy said as the lava entered Natsu. (Fairy Code; Natsu ATK 2300 + 500 = 2800) "Now Natsu, take down Pyron." Natsu then charged right at King Pyron. King Pyron fired many fireballs in Natsu's way, but that didn't stop Natsu. Natsu was then right in front of King Pyron and Natsu's right arm caught on fire. He then punched King Pyron, destroying it and the flames hit Ashley. (Ashley's LP 4500 - 800 = 3700) Wendy then said, happy to have one of her friends from back home, by her side. "I end my turn."
"And I will be your last." Ashley said getting up.

"I draw and summon Solar Flare Dragon." Ashley said summoning a snake like monster that had flame for fur, rocks for scales, and horns.

The Field Spell then entered Solar Flare Dragon. (Solar Flare Dragon ATK 1500 + 500 = 2000 / DEF 1000 - 400 = 600) Ashley then said to Wendy. "I now end my turn?"
"Really why?"
"Because at the end of my turn, Solar Flare Dragon deals you 500 points of damage and that is more than your Life Points. So you lose Wendy!" Ashley said as Solar Flare Dragon fired a fireball at Wendy, but Natsu got in between them and ate the fireball. "WHAT!?" Ashley yelled, very very surprised. Wendy then said to Ashley. "With Natsu on the field, if you activate a Pyro Type Monster ability, I can negate it."
"Oh no!?"
"Oh yes! Now I draw." Wendy said, drawing another card.

"Sorry Ashly, but this Duel is over." Wendy said after looking at her Card. She then said playing it. "I play the Spell Card Link Calling." The Card showed a knight in purple armor raising his sword and little monsters appeared around it. "Thanks to this card I can summon one monster to an arrow my Link monster points to, as long as it has under 500 Attack Points." Her deck then spit out a card. "So I summon Warrior Code; Brotherhood." Wendy said as a man in red armor holding a flag that had the Link Portal on it.
Warrior Code; Brotherhood / Fire / Level 2 / Cyberse, Effect / ATK 500 / DEF 100
"And since I summoned Brotherhood to Natsu arrow, I can summon a second one too Natsu's other arrow." Wendy said pulling out another Warrior Code; Brotherhood and summoned it, but this one was crimson, not red. Then the Field Spell entered both of them. (Warrior Code; Brotherhood x 2 ATK 500 + 500 = 1000 / DEF 100 - 400 = 0) Ashley then said to her. "Even if you attack me with all of your monsters, I'll still have Life Points."
"Now you won't. Thanks to Natsu's ability, all of your monsters lose 500 Attack Points for each monster he is linked to." Wendy said as Natsu's hand lit up and then he slammed them into the ground, causing an explosion on Ashley field. "No!" Ashley yelled as Solar Flare Dragon roared in pain. (Solar Flare Dragon ATK 2000 - 500 = 1500 - 500 = 1000) "Now Brotherhood 1# take down that Dragon." Wendy said as Brotherhood jumped onto Solar Flare Dragon head. He then stabbed Solar Flare Dragon face with his flag, causing Solar Flare Dragon to roar and then exploded, taking Brotherhood with it. "Brotherhood 2# avenge your brother." Wendy said as Brotherhood attacked Ashley with his flag. (Ashley's LP 3700 - 1000 = 2700) Ashley then said to Wendy. "How is this possible? How can I lose to a loser like you?"
"It's because she listens to the Spirits unlike you Ashley. Now finish her Wendy." Sofia said very excited to see Wendy win. Wendy then said to Natsu. "Yeah, now Natsu. Finish her off!" Natsu then shot out a fire from his mouth, finishing off all of the last of her Life Points. (Ashley's LP 2700 - 2800 = 0)

As Ashley fell back and the Mirror Battlefield disappeared, Sofia ran to Wendy and said. "That was amazing!"
"Was it?"
"Yes, especially, with that Link Monster. Where did you get that anyway?"
"I just made it?"
"How was that possible?"
"I don't know. We can figure it out later. Right now we still need to do something." Wendy said before walking up to Ashley and said. "Ashley, you are strong, but there is something I can't understand. Why are you using your strength to bully others?" Ashley stayed silent and looked away from her. "Please Ashley, I want to understand and become your friend." Wendy said, giving Ashley her right hand. This surprised Ashley and Sofia, wondering why Wendy would give Ashley the hand of friendship after everything. Ashley slapped it away and got up. "I don't need you!" Ashley yelled getting up. "But you do need help." A new voice said and they all turned to see Principle Beiri at the door. Wendy then said to her. "Principle Beiri? What are you doing here?"
"Just finishing up the list Sofia gave me."
"What list?"
"The list of all of your accomplice."
"What crime!"
"Abusing students and please don't try to deny it. Sofia has recorded the crimes from the past month." Principle Beiri said as Sofia took off the glasses and gave them to her. Sofia then said to them. "Yeah, I don't need glasses. These are recording devices."
"Now all of you come with me, minus Sofia and Wendy ." Principle Beiri said and soon they all went with her. Wendy then said to Sofia. "So what will happen next?"
"Most likely, Ashley will be expelled, her accomplices will be on the Watch List."
"Watch List?"
"A list of troublemakers that teachers need to keep an eye on. And for the victims, they will likely quit and leave me here alone."
"Aren't they your friends?"
"They were, but I don't think they will be now."
"Why?"
"Because I made them wait in pain for a mouth, just to get all of Ashley's accomplices on video."
"Maybe they will understand why you did what you had to do."
"Maybe, but they might not be my friends anymore. The same goes for you."
"Why do you say that?"
"I used your duel as a distraction, so Ashley didn't notice Principle Beiri taking down her accomplices. So if you are mad at me, I understand."
"I'm not mad at you."
"Wait, what?"
"You just want to stop Ashley from hurting your friend and you didn't want me to get hurt. And even if you used it as a distraction, you helped me the best you could in the duel. So you still have one friend." Wendy said and Sofia couldn't believe her. Sofia looked at Wendy's eyes and knew that Wendy wasn't lying. Sofia laughed and said. "Wendy, I'm glad we are friends."
"Me too." Wendy said before she started to laugh too. Unknown to them, somewhere in Hokusei. Five mask figures were in the middle of a meeting inside a room above people dueling with each other. When another figure wearing a mask that had an icicle pattern on it walked into the meeting. "Zero, you are late." A man wearing a yokai fox mask said to Zero. Zero then said to the man with a male voice. "I'm sorry Fox, but the scanner activated."
"I thought it didn't work, because the energy was too low to track?"
"I don't know how or why, but the energy just exploded, so now we can track them."
"Good then start finding the other Type-Makers. Now!" Fox said, as they all left the room. As he got up and looked over the others dueling, he pulled out his deck and then one card. That card looked like Kotodama, but was a man and his clock was bones instead of archaic symbols and it said "Zonbi, The Zombie Type-Maker".

*Please tell it again, this story that I love. I don't mind if it's just a dream.* Wendy was in her room at Debiddo house. *If yesterday is past and done, today will pass by too. It makes it seem so fast we'll get there right away!* Wendy was crossing off dates with a pen on her calendar. *Even as time passes, my heart is gonna keep on beating. These are the things that never change!* Wendy put down the pen and looked out of her bedroom window and looked over the city. *Please tell it again, this story that I love. Even if it's a dream, I will always believe and keep moving on! Would you please let me hear your voice ring out again? Those feelings deep down in my heart are feelings that never will change! I'll be here waiting for you.* Wendy then turned off the light and went to bed.

Next time = The Prank Queen; Wendy and Sofia are having a hard time getting new members for the club, so as a way to improve their reputation. They are going to stop an infamous prankster that has been affecting Hokusei. Can Wendy and Sofia stop this prankster or is the joke on them?
