Chapter 81

It was about fifteen minutes since the battle had broken out at Heaven's Base. Yet to claim that it was going well for the combined Zaft and Alliance forces would be downright stupid. The Alliance had already lost five ships, three of them to the Forbidden gundam, while a second Vosgulov class was going up in smoke at that very moment.

Seeing the ship blow up like that, the already huge grin on Reki Neider's face grew that much larger in size. The young blue haired pilot of the Forbidden honestly had no idea about why this battle was happening, she just knew that she was allowed to kill all the people she want, which was more than enough reason for the insane girl to be out there. Especially since somebody had told her these people where the once responsible for killing her brother, not that Reki could remember if she actually had a brother. It was just that whenever somebody mentioned the word brother to her, the blue haired girl always felt very much like tearing somebody apart.

"DIE YOU WORTHLESS MAGGOTS DIIIIEEE!" She screamed at the top of her lungs, as she rushed full speed forward. Using the scythe to slice apart three BABI's in one fluid motion, after that Reki hurried swirled around and immediately fired the Plasma cannon at a pair of incoming GOUFs, and as she watched the two mobile suits explode, she let out a happy chuckle, which most people would affiliate with a small girl playing with her dolls. Yet under these circumstance, it really went to showed just how utterly insane, Reki Neider truly was.

And while still laughing softly under her breath, she took off towards her next target. Using the beam deflectors to defend herself until she was close enough to remove both wings on a old DINN, that of course immediately start falling towards sea, since it had noway to stay airborne now, but before it could hit the water, the girl fired both Railguns at the purple mobile suit, destroying it completely.

000000

Meanwhile on the Minerva, Gilbert did not once move his highly serious gaze away from one of the smaller screens up there, that was clearly showing the Forbidden gundam as it tore apart two BABIs, and a single GOUF like they where nothing.

"Talia! Can't something be done about that THING?!" The black haired man asked in a loud angry tone.

Turning her chair around, Talia looked back at her lover with a deeply serious look in her eyes. That question, was one she had tried with all of her might to find an answer to, ever since the Forbidden had shown up, but unfortunately she could only come up with one answer.

"The only thing I can come up with to stop it, is to follow Nicol's advise and send out our own gundams to fight the Forbidden. I just don't like having to use our trump cards this early in the battle, I have a feeling that the Forbidden might only be a minor hindrance Gilbert, that Logos have something far more dangerous waiting to face us!" She said, then hurried turned around again and yelled out for the Tristans to be fired, at a large group of incoming Windams and other Earth Forces' mobile suits that was coming right at them.

Watching Talia boss the crew up there around a few seconds, Gilbert slowly moved his gaze away from her, and looked back that the screen that was still showing the grey colored Forbidden. And seeing that mobile suit drop down on to a smaller Alliance ship, where it immediately used it's scythe to cut the bridge off, instantly made Gilbert decide that once he returned to the Plants he was going to have a talk with Zaft's main research team about developing a mobile suit like the Forbidden. As old as it might be, there was no denying that the Forbidden gundam, was a VERY impressive mobile suit. Something like it, could definitely be useful to Zaft, in the future. Perhaps if they where just a bit lucky, they could somehow get their hands on the Forbidden during this battle, a thorough study of that mobile suit, might reveal some interesting secrets.

Gilbert did however not get long to think about, what useful technology they might be able to pull out of the Forbidden gundam, when Abbey's loud voice interrupt his thoughts.

"We just lost the signal from the Gauntlet! And according to the St Helens our fleet of Vosgulov class, are under attack by a great deal of underwater mobile suits!" The girl yelled.

Those words immediately made Talia cursed softly, as she swirled around in her seat and yelled out a few orders to the blonde. "Tell the Vosgulovs to do everything they can to defend themselves! We do not want to lose any more of those ships then we have to!" The Minerva Captain yelled, seriously hating the fact that even with the large amount of preparation they had done for this battle, Logos had still manage to catch them somewhat unaware because they had been foolish enough, to give those DAMN terrorists twenty-four hours to surrender peacefully, yet judging from everything that what was happening now, Logos had apparently used that time, to make the necessary preparation for a full scale assault on their forces.

And as another Alliance ship could be seen blowing up at their starboard side, Arthur cursed loudly. "Captain shouldn't we launch the gundams? I am sure that those four would be a big help out there!" The man said, with a concerned looked on his face, he really didn't like how this battle had been going up until now, they had already lost so many ships, and mobile suits thanks to the Forbidden.

It was however Gilbert that answered that question, instead of Talia. "Not yet Arthur, instead we are going to do something else, that is going to turn things in our favor! Signal that space fleet and get them to launch all descent pots immediately, and have them target their command center! If we can destroy that, and kill Djibril we should be able to prevent Logos from doing anything else, and maybe even get the rest of the base to surrender in the process! The faster we end this battle the better" he said.

Yet while the Minerva crew start working on carrying out his orders, Talia stared silently at her lover a few short seconds, for some strange reason she could not shake away the feeling that Gilbert was kinda enjoying the mayhem that was happening outside, but that was impossible, that weird glimmer she had seen in his eyes just now, had to be because they were about to counter attack, there was no way he could be pleased about Logos no surrendering peacefully, THAT WAS IMPOSSIBLE! It had to be her imagination that was playing tricks on her in the heat of the moment, the brown haired woman mentally told herself. Then hurried went back to work the very instant Gilbert send her a serious look.

Not sure what that was about, Gilbert watched the back of Talia's neck a few short seconds, it was only once she start dishing out orders left and right again, that he decide, that he could always ask her about it later, and with that decision made, Gilbert once more turned his attention back towards one of the smaller screens up there, which was still showing what the Forbidden was up to. And as he watch the grey colored gundam tear apart three GOUFs and a pair of Windams, that had been trying to gang up on it. Durandal found himself briefly wondering, what Rau would have to say about all of this, had he been there to witness this battle.

000000

Yet while that was happening up on the bridge. The four main Minerva pilots was in their mobile suit's talking about what was going on outside.

"What the hell is the bridge crew waiting for? Why haven't they given us the order to launch already!? Our forces are being slaughter out there, we need to get outside and take out that mobile suit, the Forbidden!" Shinn yelled. Ever since he gotten inside the Destiny, he had been watching everything the scythe wielding mobile suit had been doing, and he could honestly say, that he was starting to dislike the grey colored gundam quite a bit. It had already killed so many people.

Hearing Shinn complain for a third time about why, they hadn't received the orders to launch yet, Lunamaria seriously felt like tearing the radio out of the Core Splendor, so she did not have to listen to him any longer. He was just so unbelievable annoying right now.

"Maybe we already got the orders to launch! We just couldn't hear them over all of your complaining! Why don't you try and see if you can keep your trap shut for a few minutes, Shinn!?" The female pilot practically screamed into her own radio.

Having not expect Lunamaria to suddenly shout at him like that, Shinn flew backwards in the Destiny's cockpit, and as he looked surprised at the small screen, that was showing the new pilot of the Impulse, he saw the redhead glaring angrily at him.

"Jeez Luna don't hold anything back, tell me how you are really feeling over there" he joked softly.

That however just served to make Lunamaria glare that much more angrily at him. "That's what I am doing, Shinn! I am sick and tired of listening to all of your complaining! So be quiet, unless you actually have something important to tell us!"

"Ok, ok Luna, I get it! No more complaining, I'll just sit over here not saying anything" he said back.

Sincerely pleased to know, that they could finally get a small break from all of Shinn's bellyaching. "You have no idea how great that sounds Shinn. Once the bridge finally tells us to launch, you are permitted to start complaining again" Luna told the Destiny pilot in a much more laid-back tone.

"Understood Ma'am, whatever you say!" Shinn immediately answered, with a short childish salute. Which made Lunamaria mumbled a few unhappy words about how somebody so immature could become a soldier.

But while Shinn did feel a bit insult by those words, he wisely decide to keep his trap shut. While it was certainly true, that he under circumstances found it highly entertaining pissing Lunamaria off. Shinn quickly decide that now was not the best time for him to be doing that, beside he was far more interest in what was going on outside, he did however not get long to watch the battle when Lunamaria's voice broke the brief moment of silence.

"What's wrong Nicol? You look kinda worried" the female pilot softly asked her boyfriend.

Hearing her ask that, Nicol slowly reach up and scratch his thick green hair in a thoughtful manner. "It's nothing you should worry about Luna, it's just that with the Forbidden out there, I can not help but wonder, if those other two are going to make an appearance too. Having to face those three mobile suits again, ain't really something I am looking forward to, even while piloting the Adamant"

"You are talking about the Raider and the Calamity ain't you, Nicol?" Rey asked in a low yet highly serious tone.

Giving his lower lips a hard bite, that made a bit of blood appear, Nicol did his best to ignore, the painful memories the Forbidden, Raider and especially the Calamity brought forth.

"That I am Rey, that I am"

But even through it was pretty much impossible not to notice deep bitterness and anger in Nicol's voice, Rey still kept on talking about the Raider and the Calamity. "What can you tell us about those machines, Nicol?"

"Quite a few things actually. The Calamity gundam has an impressive array of different long range weapons. If we have to fight it I would suggest that either me or Shinn take care of it, seeing as our machines are best suited to deal with the damn thing! As for the Raider gundam, it's a bit of an unique mobile suit, it's fast, especially in it's mobile armor mode. As for it's armament, it has quite a few nasty weapons. Yet if you want my personal opinion I would say that the mace it usually carries around, is it's most dangerous weapon" Nicol explained.

"A mace really?! Please tell me that you are kidding!" Shinn exclaimed loudly, honestly having a bit of a difficult time imaging how the hell a mobile suit could use a mace of all things for a weapon.

"I know it sounds somewhat ridiculous, Shinn. But I am seriously not joking around over here! The Raider killed more than it's fair share of people, with that weapon alone. At the battle of Jachin Due, I saw it hurl that thing through the bridge of a Nazca Class killing everybody on board" Nicol said. Thinking briefly about how Dearka had taken out the Raider at Jachin Due.

Those thoughts did however instantly disappear, once Nicol heard Shinn's next words. "Ok I get it Nicol, the mace wielding gundam is dangerous, and should NOT be underestimate. So just to clarify, who of us is best suited to deal with the Raider gundam? If it does show up?"

Letting out a deep thoughtful sound. "Hmmm that's a good question, Shinn. I would say Rey, the Legend's DRAGOON system should give him quite an advantage against the Raider, and enable him to destroy the stupid thing from a distance. But if he is prevented from fighting it, I think Lunamaria would do quite well against it, if she uses the Force Silhouette pack, to keep up with the Raider's speed" Nicol explained.

"Hmm interesting, what about the Forbidden? Who of us should take care of that one?" Rey asked with a hint of curiosity in his voice.

"Shinn, if he uses the Destiny's beam sword and beam boomerangs, or Luna using the Sword Silhouette pack. Fighting the Forbidden with long distances weapons, is almost pointless thanks to it's beam deflectors. Now that I think about it, guys! If any of you, get a chance to destroy it from behind, do not waste that opportunity. Nobody would judge you, if you defeat that mobile suit fighting dirty" the green haired teenager told his fellow pilots, in a slightly hard tone.

Yet neither of the other gundam pilots got time to comment on that, when Abbey's serious voice cut into their conversation. "I just want to inform you guys that the descent pots are being launched now from the orbital fleet!" And without waiting for any one of them to give her a response the blonde hurried cut off the communication between her and the four pilots. Abbey had a lot of work to do up on the bridge, so she did not have time to answer whatever question they might have at the moment, she just thought they should know that the descent pots was on their way.

Seeing her face disappear from the monitor so fast, Shinn let out a disappointed sigh. "I guess she is kinda busy right now" he mumbled just loud enough for the others to hear him.

"It's not like this is the best time for you to be flirting with her Shinn, you can do that once we are done kicking Logos' ass" Lunamaria told him in a slightly teasing tone.

"I wasn't going to flirt with her Luna, I just want to ask her if she could tell us anything else about what was happening outside, and when we are going to join the party" he growled, sounding a bit insulted over Lunamaria suggesting that he was going to flirt with Abbey, at a time like this.

Raising both of her hands up, Lunamaria kept on smiling mischievously at the Destiny pilot, as she started talking to him in a sarcastic tone. "Of coooourse you were Shinn, it's not like you go totally gaga over Abbey, whenever you see her"

Glaring even more sourly at the new pilot of the Impulse gundam, Shinn was just about to start insisting even more loudly on the fact, that he hadn't had any intention of flirting with Abbey just now.

Yet before the red eyed teenager could get even one word out, Rey cut him off in a deeply serious tone. "Shinn, you reeeally need to learn how to control your temper, if you don't, I have a feeling that it is going to get you in serious trouble someday. And Lunamaria, you should not tease Shinn at a time such as this, you know how angry he gets"

While it was impossible for Lunamaria to deny, how unbelievable much she enjoyed teasing, Shinn. The young redhead of course realized, that Rey was right about everything he had just said, this really wasn't the best time for her to be doing such things. And it was with a slightly guilty look in both of her eyes, that the next many words left her mouth.

"I guess I might have overdone it a bit, I am sorry about that, Shinn. It's just that, it's so damn funny seeing you get all flushed like that, whenever you are embarrassed" the girl said in a soft apologetic tone.

Looking silently at the small screen showing Lunamaria's face, Shinn slowly reached up and softly rubbed the back his neck. "That's not really much of an apology, Luna. But forget about it, it's not like it's new for the two of us to get on each others nerves"

"Yeah it is a pretty common occasion" Luna agreed with him. It was after all no secret around the Minerva that there was times where Shinn bother her, to no end. The redhead did however not get much time to think about the matter when Shinn's loud voice interrupt her thoughts.

"I can see the descent pots NOW!" The dark haired boy yelled. Obviously excited over seeing just how much damage the ZAKU mobile suits inside the approaching descent pots, could do to Heaven's Base.

000000

Meanwhile inside Heaven's Base's main command center, Djibril was smiling brightly over all the destruction they had already done to the enormous fleet outside. Whoever was piloting that Forbidden gundam was most definitely an excellent pilot.

And as the terrorist leader stood there wondering, how many angry thoughts there might be going through Gilbert Durandal's ugly head at the moment, he was pulled back to reality by the sound of a slightly panicky voice not that far away from him.

"Sir! We are detecting about thirty Zaft descent pots directly above us! If the mobile suits inside those pots lands, they will be all over the command center in just a few minutes!" Somebody loudly informed everybody in there.

Upon hearing those words, the wicked smirk on Djibril's face grew that much larger in size, as he looked straight at the Commander leading their forces. "Is the second surprise ready to go?" He asked.

"Of course it is! Those Zaft pilots wouldn't even know what hit them!" The Commander said smirking even more wickedly than Djibril.

"Excellent Commander. Once all the descending Zaft mobile suits have been eliminated, get the third surprise ready to move out, we are not going to give the Chairman's forces any time to recover here, we are going to destroy each and everyone of them" Djibril laughed, just as the Commander gave the order for the Nibelung to be fired.

000000

Meanwhile in one of the approaching descent pots, many thoughts was going through a younger pilot's head, as he mentally prepared himself to do battle with whatever Logos would throw at them. This was his third battle and while he was still somewhat nervous, he was starting to gain some confidence in his piloting skills, heck at the battle of Aprilius One he had single-handedly taken out three Windams.

Yet as his ZAKU Warrior was released from the descent pot. The only thing the young pilot could see was a bright blinding red light, that enveloped his ZAKU. He barely had time to cry out his girlfriend's name, before his mobile suit blew up, killing him instantly along with all of the other pilots, hit by the enormous deadly beam.

000000

At the exact same time out in space on board the Eternal, Kira and Lacus was watching the news up on the bridge, along with Andrew, Hilda, DaCosta and a few other people.

Having seen Logos fire whatever the hell that damn weapon was called, at the descending Zaft mobile suits, each and everybody up there could only stare at the screen completely and utter horror. And it was only after a few long minutes that Kira was able to force his dry lips apart, and ask the question they were all want answers to right now.

"What the heck was that thing?"

"No idea kid, no idea...it kinda looked like GENESIS when it fired" Andrew said in a low tone, as he thought about the Zaft super weapon they had fought so hard to destroy two years ago.

Reaching over, Kira slowly wrapped his finger around Lacus' hand, and gave it a gentle loving squeeze, which she immediately returned. "While there truly is no denying that Djibril is a creep that deserves whatever is coming to him, I can't help but hope a bit that Chairman Durandal, wouldn't make through this battle, Djibril is not the one who has tried to kill my wife twice now..." Kira said, with a great deal of bitterness in his voice.

"I do not think anybody blames you for that, Kira. Even though we might still be kinda uncertain about whatever it is Durandal is trying to do, one thing is definitely certain, we need to stop him no matter what" Andy said, as he gave Kira a friendly a pat on his back.

Tearing her sadden gaze away from the screen, Lacus looked a few times between her husband and the Desert Tiger. "I think I'm starting to understand a few things about what it is the Chairman is up to. Especially after reading through the few papers DaCosta found at the Mendel Colony. Whatever this Destiny Plan of Gilbert Durandal's is, it is something that is meant to change our world a great deal, but in such a way that the people who is happy with the way the world is now, will not be allowed to live on in the new one, he is trying to make" Lacus explained softly.

"That's totally sick...!" Hilda growled displeased.

"Yeah no kidding! I reeeally wish I could have found some more information about this Destiny Plan back at the Mendel Colony" DaCosta mumbled just loud enough for the others to hear him.

Yet none of them said anything to that, which meant that a deep silence soon fell over all of them, as they once more continued watching the news that was still showing the battle that was going on down on Earth.

000000

Of course not knowing that Kira Yamato and his wife Lacus Yamato, the two people Gilbert Durandal considered to be the biggest threat to the success of his plan, was presently watching his forces struggling so unbelievable hard to defend themselves against Logos' many mobile suits and everything else they were throwing at them. Whatever weapon that enormous red beam had been fired from, it was not something Gilbert knew anything about, even though he had done his utmost to gather as much information about Heaven's Base, as he possibly could.

'Hm I am impressed Djibril, I did not expect you to have something like that hidden away in there...' the Zaft leader mused. Briefly wondering if any of the technology in that weapon could be used to speed up the construction of the Space Fortress he was having build at this very moment.

Yet all of the Chairman's thoughts about the Fortress, which had to decide not that long ago was to be named Messiah, instantly disappeared when he heard Arthur curse loudly not that far away from him.

"God damn it! What the hell was that!? How in the world did they manage to build something like that without us knowing anything about it!?" The Deputy Captain yelled, not that anybody up there had an answer to give him.

"That is the million dollar question Arthur, unfortunately we do not have time to figure that out now. We can always ask Djibril about it once the creep has been captured! Now make sure to tell our forces not to get anywhere near the airspace of that weapon, I do NOT want to lose anymore troops to that damn thing, than we already have. But keep pushing back as much as we are able! We are not going to let Logos defeat us here, we need to put an end to Djibril and his ilk no matter what, otherwise they will keep on terrorizing this world forever!" The Chairman said in a loud serious tone.

Yet those words had barely left Gilbert's mouth, when Burt chose that exact moment to give them all some more bad news. "Captain I am detecting six of those giant mobile suits, we encountered one of at Berlin!" The blond haired man yelled.

Having sincerely hoped with all of his being, that they would never cross path with one of those mobile suit ever again, Arthur felt a freezing cold shiver run down his spine, at the thought of going up against six of those ginormous weapons of mass destruction. While it was true that the Minerva and Shinn had somehow gotten the honor for taking out the first Destroy gundam at Berlin, Arthur knew that the Archangel and the Freedom pilot had done most of the work. Actually now that he gave it some thought, Arthur realized that their present back then had likely served more as an annoyance than anything else, since the only thing Shinn had done during that battle was trying to force his way past the Freedom so he could destroy the three Murasames that had been engaging the Chaos. And the thought of how little help they had been back then, against the first Destroy gundam, honestly made Arthur doubt that they would be able to defeat six of those ginormous mobile suits.

"CAPTAIN! WHAT DO WE DO?! Is it even possible for us to defeat six of those machines?!" Arthur asked loudly, doing his best not to show the part of himself, that sincerely hoped that either the Captain or the Chairman would say something about retreating from the area as fast as humanly possible. He just couldn't fathom how in the world they could possibly win this now.

"We have to beat those things somehow, my friend! If Logos wins this battle Arthur, nothing will be able to stop them! The whole world will fall into their grasp!" Gilbert said, not once taking his eyes away from the main screen that was showing the six giant gundams. Yet what nobody up there realized was that Gilbert wasn't really all that surprised by the Destroy's appearance in this battle, he had known for quiet a while now, that Djibril had more than just one of those monstrous machines stashed away.

000000

At the same time outside, there was complete and utter chaos. The Zaft and Alliance mobile suits was focusing most of their attacks on the lead Destroy unit, not that they had much luck taking it out. And as the large mobile suit began glowing from different places it was only a brief moment later, when an unbelievable number of beams was fired from the Destroy gundam, and as most of the mobile suits attack it was destroyed, the pilot inside the Destroy let out a happy laugh.

"Man this is just so awesome! If I had known how cool this machine was, I would have ask to get one for Christmas last year!" He yelled truly sound like he was having the time of his life as he kept on firing one salvo of red beams after another, and as more and more ships was annihilated by him, he kept on laughing like the maniac he was.

Seeing the destruction below him, a older BABI pilot let out an angry curse as he fired the chest cannon into the cockpit of an attacking Windam. "Damn it, this is insane! We have to stop that thing somehow!" He growled, barely avoiding getting hit by two beams from the giant mobile suit.

It was at that point one of his fellow BABI pilots decided to share his two cents about the matter. "I think I have an idea that might work, cover me!" He said in a determined tone, then took off flew full speed straight downwards towards the Destroy.

"Sam what the hell are you doing?! SAAAAMMMMM!" The older BABI piloted yelled, as he watched his young friend smash headfirst into the right side of the enormous weapons of mass destruction.

And as he watched the large machine lower it's shield again after the kamikaze attack, he saw that despite Sam's noble sacrifice, the Destroy gundam hadn't been damaged at all, it was still completely intact.

"Damn it Sam you idiot...you idio...!AHHHH...!" He screamed, as his sliver colored BABI was engulfed by a bright red light, that made his mobile suit blow up, and killing him instantly, before he even had time to think about his dear wife, that was waiting for him back home.

000000

Seeing so unbelievable many of his fellow soldiers getting so merciless shoot down and killed by the same type of mobile suit, that had killed Stella above the German capital not that long ago, Shinn was having a very difficult time keeping his temper under control, he want to get outside as soon as possible so he could tear each and every one of those damn monsters apart, with the Destiny's beam sword.

And as Shinn watched with a hateful glare in his deep red eyes, as one of the Destroys took out twenty heavily armed warships, and who knew how many mobile suits. It finally became too much for the young pilot of the Destiny gundam, he could not stand sitting in there even a minute longer watching this shit happening, without doing anything. Especially since Shinn felt absolutely certain, that the only things they had, that would be able to take out a Destroy gundam, was their own gundams and perhaps a direkte hit from the Minerva's Tannhauser, but since it was impossible for them to use that weapon, with so many of their own ships, still ahead of them, it was up to him, Nicol, Rey and Lunamaria to take out the Destroys.

And so while practically steaming in his own space suit, Shinn got in contact with the bridge and start talking to the Captain in a relatively calm tone, that did a good job of hiding just how extremely pissed off the red eyed boy was at that very moment.

"Captain Gladys! What the hell are we waiting for?! Send us out already! The four of us can handle the Destroy gundams, we need to do something about them before they can wipe out our entire fleet!" He yelled.

Silently studying Shinn's face a few short seconds, Talia could easily tell that Shinn was running pretty low on patient, and that he want to get outside and do battle with the Destroys more than anything else. Yet as much as she want to tell him and the rest of their pilots to hurry up and get in the air, Talia knew that she had wait until Gilbert gave the ok.

Yet before Talia had a chance to reprimand Shinn, and tell him wait patiently in the Destiny, Rey's more down-to-earth voice cut her off. "Captain, Shinn is right despite his rude way of asking for your permission to sortie, we can not stay on the defense forever, we have get ride of those giant obnoxious mobile suits, otherwise it will be impossible for us to capture the base, Djibril and the rest of the Logos leaders. And that is what we are all here, for ain't it?!" The blonde haired man asked loudly.

"That was a pretty inspirational speech, my young friend, you should have been a politician instead of a soldier. And to answer your question, yes that is why we came here, so if the four of you are confident that you can beat those mobile suits, you have my permission to launch" Gilbert said, while sending the four Minerva pilots, who could all be seen on the same screen, a deeply serious look that made it clear to each of them, that he was counting on them to turn things around, in this battle, which was something each of them was absolutely determined to do no matter what.

000000

Smiling confidently, as the Destiny was dropped down onto the main catapult for the very first time, Shinn wrapped his fingers tightly around the controls, as he heard Abbey's voice loudly informing him, that he was clear and ready for take off.

"Shinn Asuka Destiny heading out!" He shouted, just as he was pressed back into his seat by the pressure of the catapult, throwing the Destiny full speed forward out through the opened hangar door.

Yet Shinn had barely gotten in the air when the alarm inside the Destiny began beeping loudly, and having no idea about where the attack was coming from, he hurried threw himself backwards, just as a beam flew right over him. And as he looked down, he spotted the back of a Deep Forbidden disappearing hastily back down into the sea.

"Damn it, you are certainly not wasting anytime! But I am not going to let you get away with a dirty move like that!" Shinn growled. Then rushed full speed straight downwards into the sea after the amphibious mobile suit. Once down there the short tempered teenager saw that there was more than just one Deep Forbidden waiting for him.

"Heh, I hope you two losers a very good at holding you breath under water! Because that is a skill you are going to need very soon now"

And even as those menacing words left his mouth, Shinn got the Destiny that of course was a bit slower than normal down in the water, moving. Evading up over the first amphibious mobile suit's trident, ending up directly above the enemy machine, which was an opportunity he immediately took advantage of by using both Palma Fiocina to destroy first the head and then most of the blue mobile suit's backpack. And with it out of commission the red eyed boy kicked it aside, without sparing it a second look, even as it exploded. Instead he moved forward to met the second Deep Forbidden, that was coming right at him.

But while this one was more of a challenge than the first one. It did not take long before Shinn violently ramed the beam sword into enemy machine's cockpit, and as it start glowing he hurried threw it aside, then took off full speed straight upwards as the amphibious mobile suit exploded.

Once Shinn got back out of the dark gloomy sea, he saw that the Legend was already outside, and the Adamant landing on it's special GUUL. "Sorry about that guys, I had to go take care of the welcoming committee. They were not really the most friendly people, but at least now we don't have to worry about them!" He said, just as the Core Splendor left the Minerva's special hangar.

And as the Impulse was assembled, and equipped with the Force Silhouette pack, not that far away from the three other gundams, Nicol started talking in a deeply serious tone. "Good work, Shinn. But lets leave the small fries to our other forces, and go show the big ones what we are made of"

"You got it Nicol" Shinn said determinedly, then took off full speed towards the lead Destroy gundam, with the Adamant, Legend, and finally the Impulse following not that far behind him.

To be continued.
