Chapter 18: Glenn
To think he had gotten into all of this just by being a pizza delivery driver.
Sometimes, he wishes he hadn't gone to work that day, since he never even got to say goodbye to his parents and sister. Everyone he knew and loved was just gone.
He got many good things from it.
He found a beautiful family and great friends no man could refuse.
Despite all of the hardships, despite all of the deaths and sadness and suffering, Glenn has nothing but hope for the future.
As the baseball bat aims for his head, Glenn silently thanks everyone for being by his side all this time, and thinks only of Maggie as the end comes.
Her face was all that was in his mind as he died.
