The Dungeon Corridors, Hogwarts Castle, Wizarding World...

Hermione had managed to make her way down to the dungeons just after the brooding wizard had. She had thoughts racing a mile a minute but it did little to deter her from her goal. The eerie silence of the dungeons due to most of the students being in the great hall had not been lost on her, as the sound of her hurried breaths seemed to echo in the vast corridor as she moved. She'd gotten only half way past the Potions Professor's office when she was pulled inside, snatched in mid-step by the ailing wizard himself shortly before he closed the door behind her. Hermione found herself staring into the obsidian eyes of her Potions Professor husband, whom had been none too thrilled that she'd taken it upon herself to follow him.

The glare from the pale wizard seemed to be that of a combination of rage and genuine contemplation as he stood before the young witch not saying a word as the seemingly eerie chill that filled the dungeons made itself known.

"What are you doing here?" he asked in an embittered tone.

Hermione simply met his gaze not at all giving the impression that his rude manner had intimidated her in some way. She'd come too far to simply ignore what they were trying so desperately to keep from themselves and each other.

"You know why." she replied determined to get through to him.

Snape glared at the determined young witch for a few moments. She believed he'd find another excuse to continue to despise her and it hurt to think that this was what married life would be like for her, even if it was with an embittered man like Severus Snape.

The Potions Master seemed to sense this and without warning, he crushed his lips into hers as he pressed her up against the nearby wall.

It stunned Hermione to no end to take note of the level of longing that had accompanied the intense kiss her husband had planted on her and he pulled away as quickly as he had come to her, a look of utter confusion filed across his weary sallow pale face.

"S-Severus?" she began not wishing for him to revert to despising her again.

"You don't know what you are asking of me." said Snape knowing all too well what she wanted from him.

"I don't need to." replied Hermione moving closer to him.

She wasn't about to turn tail and run now, his level of vulnerability was as brazen as his insults in this very moment and if she was ever going to get him to understand her need for him this was the time to do it.

"I wish I could get you out of my head." replied Snape in the same embittered tone. "Every moment I've had to endure your presence is etched into every fiber of my memory..."

Hermione sighed unable to fathom how even now the dour wizard could make her want to hex him.

"I've felt something for you since before we were wed." she admitted. "You knew of course, dismissed it as a mere school girl crush...and maybe it was at first...but then...we got married and we shared so much..."

Snape noted just how nervous the young witch had been. She was willing to pour her heart out to him, him of all people in the hopes that it might endear her to him. He resisted the urge to roll his eyes despite wanting to. He knew not how she could love a man that had no love for her in an emotional sense in return but craved her body like nothing he'd ever wanted.

"What are you so afraid of?" asked Hermione. "Why can't you just admit that you might feel something for me...as I do for you?"

"What you are asking of me...is difficult to fathom." he replied meeting her eyes. "I do not wish to...cause you harm...I am not a man with many options in terms of what choice may bring...being with me entails a good deal of suffering on your behalf...as suffering is all I've ever known."

"I don't care." said Hermione fed up with his attempts to push her away. "I don't even care if all you want from me is sex...when you first made up your mind that was all you wanted...it was a bit disconcerting but right now...I just want you, Severus...why can't you understand that...I just want you."

"Foolish Girl!" he hissed in annoyance at her intention to carry on with her romantic notions of him. "Y-You don't know what you are saying."

Hermione was not to be denied as she suddenly advanced on the visibly shaken wizard pressing her own soft pink lips into the same harsh pale lips that had broken down so many when given to insult.

The fierce flicker of determination and need that burned behind the amber eyes of the young witch as she transferred all of her hopes, passion, and dreams into this small means of getting through to the wizard she had fallen for even if it had not been planned.

"I love you, Severus Snape." she said meaningfully as she pulled back from him. "And I don't care if you never say it back."

Without warning, Snape returned her kiss scooping her up into his arms and delivering just as much intensity as she had when she kissed him. Dumbledore's warning had been all but ignored as The Potions Master found himself overtaken by the lingering need he'd thought he'd buried long ago when endless rejection had been all he'd been met with when in search of something more.

"Foolish girl." he said meeting her eyes once more and finding little more than longing. "You will come to regret this."

"I'll take my chances." replied Hermione not in the least put off by his seemingly dire warning.

Looking at the rather bold young woman and taking a moment to consider his means in terms of fortune, Severus Snape had been at a loss for words. Feeling that there was little he could say to begin with, he simply captured her lips in another full on and heat driven kiss before randomly lifting Hermione into his arms intent on carrying her toward his desk. The young witch clung to him, wrapping her arms around his neck and her slender thighs slightly exposed due to her school uniform skirt riding up in the wake of their movements, around his ebony trouser clad waist as she remained in his grasp.

Between them, had been no fear of discovery, as the majority of the school's inhabitants had been in The Great Hall for breakfast and Dumbledore had known they needed to keep up their quota for the Ministry of Magic's reports. Snape had no doubt in his mind that the old fool had counted on their running into each other while there would be no prying eyes about the castle.

Try as he might, the Potions Professor could do little to quell his own desire for his young wife and the self reviewed "rights" he had when it came to indulging her made his impulsiveness all the more justified.

Hermione cared not for such things, already knowing in her heart and her mind that the man whom had taken her with passion unmatched by any boy that ever prowled the halls of Hogwarts castle bedding young inexperienced witches had belonged to her and their union was genuine despite the initial beginning.

"Severus..." she whimpered as he cleared the desk rather impatiently before laying her on top of it.

Their eyes never leaving one another as the passion between them began to intensify. Heated kisses filled their moments as well as longing in the form of soft and frequent moans in lull of determined grunts. A vocal performance known only to the two of them whenever it had been time to take to the makeshift "stage".

Panting between kisses, Snape found himself unable to look away from the beautiful amber eyed girl beneath him on the oak wood desk. Her eyes held a longing matched only by his own and every moment spent with her gave him an unstated peace he found no where else.

Silent once more in-terms of spoken dialogue, Severus Snape again captured the young witch's lips in a heated series of kisses feeling her young body against his own as he set to work ridding both himself and his lovely young wife of their mutually constrictive attire via magic.

Now naked before the sight of each other, Snape found himself once more battling a wave of contemplation as it attempted to put an end to his need for the girl before him. It proved to be less instrumental in his decision-making as The Potions Professor found that no matter how hard he tried to deny it, there was something going on between himself and the lass, Hermione Jean Granger, something that the Ministry of Magic, the despot, and even the headmaster had not even considered in their malicious attempts to destroy the will of Harry Potter's most capable ally.

SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Soft warm hands trailed along Severus Snape's exposed bare chest. The delicate fingers that ran along his many scars, once hidden from the view of the young Hermione Granger had been there for her to see. So many times he'd been given to "discipline" from his dealings with his drunken muggle father to the despot himself and it showed.

The realization that he'd spent a good deal of his life being ground beneath the heel of those around him, despite his own youthful ambitions had been difficult for the young witch to fathom. He'd not been just showing off the collection of former injuries he sustained over the course of his life time but, he'd been bearing his soul to her even if it had been for a few moments inside the confines of a darkened classroom.

Snape kissed away the tears that streamed down her cheek shifting his weight between her thighs until he'd been ready to proceed with the real reason they'd gotten this far.

A short gasp escaped the lips of the young witch as she clung to her Potions Professor lover, feeling every inch of what he'd been reluctant to display to her before hand. She never took her eyes off him watching as his body flexed and he slid her's along the surface of the oak wood desk. The frequent jolts in the wake of his thrusts had been something to behold as he gripped the edge desperate to keep her locked in place.

"Severus..." she whimpered not at all wanting their time together to end and their forced return to the life she no longer fit into came roaring back.

Snape once more noticed her tears and kissed them away as his thrusts continued. He had been of the same mind when it came to not wanting their time together to end.

Secretly, it unnerved him to note how much he had enjoyed being with her in this way. If he were honest with himself above all else he would have admitted that she'd been perfect in every aspect...almost painfully so.

The Potions Master's excitement seemed to carry over to Hermione as she continued to grip the wizard squeezing him between her thighs knowing full well that their act would come to an end and she'd be little more than his student once it was over.

SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Half an hour saw to a good deal of urgency on Snape's part, as they had not known when the rest of the students would begin their decent into the dungeons for class. The last thing they needed was to explain why Snape had taken so long to allow them into class. Hermione seemed to agree with the sense of urgency as she found herself feeling the onset of her release the moment he had leaving them both sweat slick and panting.

Snape kissed the still gasping witch's belly before pulling away, spelling the two of them clean and redressed. They had not had much time but there would be plenty to make up for once classes had concluded. For now, they had made something of a breakthrough, and neither wanted to push it any further despite the hour of the day.

Hermione got up off the desk, adjusting her attire and looking over his husband once again. Seemingly unable to help herself, she made her way over toward him and kissed him once more.

Snape returned her rather heated kiss and sighed.

"It appears we have come to an understanding." he said breaking the silence for the first time since their initial discussion.

"It appears so." agreed Hermione meeting his rather intense gaze.

"I expect you tonight." he said. "Perhaps we can further this most recent discussion, Mrs. Snape."

"Indeed we shall, Professor Snape." replied Hermione with a bit of heat behind her eyes before she kissed him one last time. "I do love you, Severus."

Snape nodded understanding that she was not to be denied in terms of their earlier conversation.

Not wanting to waste any more time, Hermione took her leave of him...with the promise of seeing him again later that night.
