Spinner's End, Cokeworth, England, Muggle World
Some odd number of hours passed and saw to Severus Snape awakening to find himself and Hermione sprawled out on the floor of his family sitting room. He thought it amusing that he'd only ever brought his young wife to this place that housed all of his childhood memories of torment and neglect in a bid to shag her brains out without the constant reminder of being watched either via Potter or Dumbledore. It had been even more amusing that his father often taunted him for lacking any features to even be remotely considered by a member of the opposite sex and now here he had been lying naked on the floor with his cock buried between the legs of a beautiful and surprisingly intellectual young woman. He supposed his life had not turned out all bad, being a professor had perks he never even dreamed of as it were. Hermione awoke moments after him still finding herself lying on top of her husband and shivering from the cold. Snape seemed to delight in the disheveled look she had recalling just how she'd gotten that way. He still found himself unable to imagine how she had managed to get a hold on him, a fascinating turn of events if he were to admit it out loud. Hermione smiled before leaning down to capture his pale lips in another series of kisses. Snape couldn't take his eyes off her for a moment utterly captured by the sheer measure of beauty she held despite her lack of awareness that she did.
"Everything to your liking Mrs. Snape?" asked the Potions Master gauging her reaction.
"As a matter of fact..." replied Hermione pressing her lips into his once more. "Yes it was...Mr. Snape."
She took his hand in hers and brought it to her lips, kissing along the pale flesh as he continued to watch her in amazement. It was clear that their mutual understanding had taken on a new meaning since their most recent discussion about their true feelings on the matter. She had been quite bold to say the least to admit to him the nature of her attraction and affection for him. He had not been as bold but admitted it just the same unsure where they would progress from here, he had been more than content to follow her apparent example.
"We'll have to be getting back soon." he said, no more wishing to come to terms with their current reality than she had.
"Just a little longer, please...just let us have this..." she pleased kissing him once more on the lips.
While his mind had been against the recklessness of their staying at Spinner's End longer than intended, he could not bring himself to deny her this small request. He had been fed up with being told when and how to live his life in accordance with Dumbledore and the dark lord's demands, for the first time he felt his rebellious streak take hold as he swiftly gripped Hermione along the hips and gently maneuvered until her back rested against the floor. She let out a shocked gasp when once more she felt the sudden intrusion between her thighs as she had only a few hours prior. Snape smirked enjoying the rapidly shifting expressions on her lovely face as he attempted to take control this time around.
He cared nothing about the old man's disappointment and up coming rage due to his actions here, all that mattered in this moment was adhering to his wife's wishes. Hermione smiled rather briefly as the intensity of their coupling increased knowing all too well that they would not be rushing back to the wizarding world any time soon.
"Severus..." she said in something of a breathless moan.
He found himself enjoying the simplicity of her addressing him via his given name.
SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Later...
Once more out of breath as a result of rigorous activity, Severus Snape had collapsed beside his wife whom had been panting in her own right. It was an amusing moment to say the least, defying even their own minds in terms of what was expected of them. Hermione had been something of a rebellious troublemaker from the moment she arrived at Hogwarts and Severus was all too content to show her that she had definitely met her match in that regard. All things considered, her idea to get away from everything had not been as bad as he initially believed and it seemed to make her happy if nothing else. it had been rather disconcerting that he found himself thinking about things that made his wife happy, before he could careless what she wished after forcing him into this arrangement but the mere implication that she'd be unhappy seemed to upset him in some odd way.
"Thank you." said Hermione breaking the easy silence that had fallen between them. "I know that you might have to deal with the consequences of this..."
Snape silenced her via a kiss in that moment.
"Think nothing of it." he replied stroking her supple cheek. "This was...fun as it were...it's not every day that I am given to indulge where passion is concerned."
Hermione smiled at him for a few moments before the rumbling in her stomach had broken the mood.
"Are you as hungry as I am?" she asked slightly embarrassed by the noise.
Snape seemed to be amused and nodded briefly.
"I suppose we should have something to eat before venturing back." he said sitting up for a few moments as she did the same. "Do you want to get something here or should we head into town?"
"While I wouldn't mind cooking something, I doubt you've had time to do any shopping since the last time we were home." replied Hermione.
Snape arched a brow at her choice of words.
"Home?" he said unsure if he heard her right, had she just referred to this place as home?
"Yes." replied Hermione with a smile. "I found that this place has it's charms and I was hoping that we could make new memories here together."
"You are quite strange, Hermione Granger." remarked the Potions Master.
"That's Hermione Snape to you git." she corrected him.
The two of them endured a round of quick spell work for a hasty measure of clean up and redressed. The two of them seemed to be more at ease as they ventured toward the front door. Hermione had not hesitated to take his hand after he locked up and started toward the nearby town where shops and restaurants were more common away from this seemingly forgotten place.
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Unknown Town, Muggle World...
Walking hand in hand with her ever brooding husband, Hermione had never been happier as she found herself surrounded by strangers and taking in the sights of this new place. Even Snape remained relaxed to some degree as he continued to walk with her, a start contrast from the day she requested to take a walk when the atmosphere of 12 Grimmauld Place had gotten to be too much for her prior to their marriage. Back then he strode ahead of her his arms folded across his chest and a look of utter disdain filed across his sallow pale face. At the present moment, he seemed every bit the doting husband any other Muggle man would have been when accompanying his wife. It was a strange turn of events but a welcome one as it became apparent that her efforts to get through to him had succeeded after all. Still, she had no wish to goad him and quietly accepted the new found comfort of being in his presence. Likewise, Snape seemed content that she'd matured a bit in terms of her formerly childish antics and felt that she had not been an altogether bad choice for a wife despite her age.
As their walk continued, Snape noticed a direct shift in his wife's character when a Muggle woman emerged from the bakery in which they were heading with a stroller and a seemingly contented bloke right beside her. From the looks of the similar rings on their fingers, there was indication that the couple were married and the wife had been ecstatic about the impending arrival of her first baby. The two seemed to be in good spirits as it were and it was quite infectious for any they passed by.
Hermione had been ever the bold lioness and approached them as well.
"You are positively glowing." she said.
"Why thank you." replied the woman with a smile. "We're expecting and this was the first time we've been out in a while."
"How do you do?" said the man shaking Snape's hand whom had been polite enough to keep up casual appearances. "This little lady your daughter?"
"Contrary to appearances, she's my wife." replied Snape in his usual emotionless tone.
"You're wife?" asked the shocked couple looking them over.
Hermione sighed.
"I've been of age for quite some time and as such I believe I am entitled to marry whomever I wish." she said in defense of her marriage.
Snape smirked watching her become defensive on his part. He had not been bothered in the least about making the couple feel uncomfortable about their bias. He'd been use to it and quite frankly found it as a source of amusement often.
"Well, if that's what works for you." said the woman coming to her senses. "We, wish you all the best."
"Same to you." replied Hermione as the couple continued their walk.
Snape's amusement never faded as they reached the bakery.
"Why didn't you say anything instead of letting them see you as some sort of dirty old man?" asked Hermione in annoyance.
The Potions Master held the door open for her before slipping inside the shop and pressing his body into hers for a few moments.
"Because for all intents and purposes, I am a dirty old man...was that not made clear to you before we left home?" he teased with his eyes flickering via the brief reflection on what occurred between them just mere hours prior to their little outing.
"Git." said Hermione finding herself amused by his casual approach to what had just occurred. "You're not that old."
"They don't need to know that." he replied kissing her on the cheek before allowing her to venture toward the counter.
Hermione had been looking forward to getting something, she knew the Weasleys were due to be at 12 Grimmauld Place and there would be plenty of food that had nothing to do with sugary substances and this was one of the few times she'd get to indulge with her husband whom had a fondness for sweets despite his overall approach to anything remotely cheerful in life.
The clerk was a young bloke whom had apparently taken a liking to Hermione the moment she walked in. Snape watched from a distance as Hermione set about selecting her chosen pastries and even managed to secure a couple for him as the clerk continued to leer over the counter. The urge to set the bumbling red head Muggle boy ablaze for staring at his wife seemed to take a bit of the amusement out of Snape's day as he continued to watch him.
Hermione simply remained polite as the clerk continued to ring up the ingredients.
"Would that be all or is your father in the mood for something?" asked the clerk.
Snape could already see the barely concealed rage that filed across Hermione's face before she simply smiled at the clerk.
"Thanks but I've already added my husband's request to the lot." she corrected the bumbling fool.
The shock that filed across his face as he noticed the silver wedding band on her ring finger.
Snape smirked as she collected the pasties and made her way over toward him. As another means of driving home her point, she saw to it that the lad witnessed one of their most passionate exchanges before they left the bakery.
Of course she'd been fuming when she got outside.
"People have always thought the worst of me." said Snape knowing all too well where he mind had gone. "I simply stopped caring a long time ago."
"It's not right that they judge you without knowing you." replied Hermione as they continued their walk.
"Well the boy had no idea how to address me, his initial thought was that I was a threat to you." said Snape in a casual tone. "It's just the way things are...besides I seem to recall a certain 12 year old girl believing the worst of me as she set my favorite winter cloak on fire."
Hermione's face turned red as she recalled the same event.
"That was different, you were literally chanting while Harry's broom was being jinxed!" she said in her own defense.
Snape smirked.
"And your reasoning for stealing from my potions stores?" he asked.
"Well it wasn't like we could ask you, you were a right arse at the time." replied Hermione much to Snape's amusement.
"It's too bad your first attempt at making polyjuice potion resulted in your unfortunate feline transformation...life imitating art at it's finest." he replied.
Hermione took a moment to catch on to his meaning before narrowing her eyes at him.
"You git!" she shouted as he busted out in a fit of laughter.
"Yes I am." he replied with a flicker of heat behind his obsidian gaze. "And don't you forget it witch."
The two of them continued their walk, once more hand in hand although with a little less of Hermione's romantic fascination with him intact.
