Problems with Children

Iruma POV

"Wooow! So you can see anywhere with this thing?" I ask, amazed.

"Pretty much. Although, there are a few places that are off-limits." Benimaru shrugs.

"Oh…"

Benimaru has shown me this thing called Argos, which is a device that Rimuru made a while back and now we're playing around with it a bit. There's a lot to see, considering its range is worldwide, and Benimaru has shown me a few particularly scenic spots he's found over the years.

"Lord Benimaru, I hate to interrupt, but I need to consult you about something." someone enters the room and pokes their head inside.

"On what? I am not working right now, but I suppose I can help you briefly." Benimaru addresses the person who entered the 'Control Room' before turning back toward me, "You will be fine on your own for a few minutes, right?"

"I think so."

Benimaru nods, "Just don't touch that button." he points at a large, red, obvious-looking button in the center of the console.

"Oh, why?" I ask out of curiosity.

"You might kill someone if you do," he bluntly answers with no concern in his voice whatsoever.

"Wait, what?" My eyes widen in shock.

But Benimaru has already turned his attention away from me and was deep into his conversation with the person I assume is his subordinate and soon leaves the room with them.

I eye the large, red, suspicious button warily, wondering what it does that could possibly kill someone if pushed.

I thought this was just something you could monitor people and places with, not a weapon!

Ignoring it is probably the best choice, so I go back to sweeping the view around and flickering the display between different 'cameras', taking a peek at all kinds of places. Cities, wide open plains, vast oceans, even this really icy-looking place.

Couldn't I look at what's going on with that war thing? It's been on my mind a lot lately, and I wanna see how those poor people are doing.

I direct the device to the place I think it's happening, but…

I don't think I should be looking at this…

It was sad. That's all that needs to be said.

I think I should look at something more cheerful.

I return the view to that icy place that I was looking at before and start sweeping it around, looking for something interesting.

Suddenly, the display gets covered with a big message that said something I can't read after I tried moving it to get a better look at this super cool ice castle thing I found in the middle of the snowy place.

I push a few buttons and it disappears, returning back to how it looked before.

The display then fills with nothing but a blue eye that looks kinda familiar before a shrill noise rings out and the whole thing goes dead.

"Oh no, I broke it!" I cry out, realizing I made a mistake.

I try pushing the same button that Benimaru had used to turn it on when we first got here, but it did nothing. The same goes for all the others I frantically push (minus the scary 'might kill someone' one).

Then, I hear the door open and Benimaru rushes in.

"What happened?" He asks me in an intentionally calm tone.

"I was just using it and it made a horrible noise and went black. Now I can't get it to turn back on."

"Hmmm…we probably overused it. Lord Veldora likes to use it quite often too, so if he used it a lot recently before we decided to, that would explain why it stopped working. But that noise…I wonder what caused that."

Rimuru POV

{{Baby Brother?}}

I sit up with a start, Velzard's voice suddenly appearing in my mind.

{{Uh…yeah? D'you need something?}}

{{That wasn't you a moment ago, was it?}}

{{I'm not sure what you mean.}} I reply, a bit confused and cautious. It's not like Velzard to randomly contact me like this; she normally prefers to just show up with no warning instead.

{{That little toy of yours, the one you use to keep an eye on the world; were you perhaps using it to spy on your dear older sister? I don't mind you giving me attention, but I prefer you come and visit over watching me from a distance. Or maybe you were doing it to annoy Guy?}}

{{You mean my Argos system? Nah, I'm not using it right now.}}

{{And you didn't ask anyone to test its ability to monitor the frozen continent, correct?}}

{{No, why would I need to do that?}}

{{Thank you, Baby Brother.}}

{{No, wait! What's this about?}} I pry. This doesn't seem like something I can just leave alone, even though I don't really want to deal with it.

{{Don't you worry your little head about it.}}

And then the connection cuts off before I can get anything more from her.

What in the world was that about?

Iruma POV

"And this is the mighty Control Room, one of Rimuru's most ingenious devices!" a familiar voice booms after the door flies open.

It's Veldora, along with a few others. My Grandpa, for some reason, is with him, and so is Ramiris, that fairy Demon Lord. Her subordinate that I think is called Beretta is in their group too, with Ramiris resting on their shoulder.

Grandpa immediately hugs me.

"My precious grandson, I didn't expect to find you down here! Are you having fun?"

"Yeah, I'm having fun," I reply.

"Oh! It's the kid! Hiya, what brings you down in my Labyrinth!?" Ramiris flies right up to me and does a lap around my head once before stopping, her hands perched on her hips and her chin raised high."It's soooo impressive, isn't it? Right? Right?!"

"I'm showing the boy the Argos system," Benimaru explains to her. "But it broke a moment ago, so I guess we're done with it for now."

"Yeah, guess I'll hav'ta call Rimuru in here to fix it again…" Ramiris grumbled as she gives one of the buttons a poke.

"Ramiris, we don't need to bother Rimuru about this! I, the Mighty and Magnificent Storm Dragon, can come to your rescue!"

"Are you sure, Master? Rimuru has always been needed to fix it when it breaks like this…"

"Although Rimuru is a genius, so am I, Ramiris! Fixing Argos will be no issue for someone as incredibly intelligent as me!"

"Lord Veldora, I'm sure it can wait for Lord Rimuru to be fixed," Benimaru interjects, trying to stop him, but Veldora isn't listening.

"Yeah, I was pretty much done using it for now anyway," I add.

"You have nothing to fear! All I need is to do the same thing I watched Rimuru do last time!"

"I recommend you step back, this might not go well." Benimaru quietly advises me.

I nod and put some distance between me and the Argos console.

Veldora, grinning widely, places both hands on it.

"Now, watch!"

Veldora's hands glow and I feel an eerie chill when I'm hit with the sudden gust of wind that seems to be coming from him.

But then…

"Little Brother, what do you think you are doing?" A white figure appears behind Veldora out of nowhere, probably teleporting in using a skill.

"V-velzard…?" He sounds terrified.

"You think spying on your older sister is acceptable? I suppose our baby brother hasn't educated you enough to know that it is not."

"I never spied on you, I was just-"

"I don't need your confirmation, especially since I caught you with your hands on the device that was used!"

"No, you don't understand! I was just graciously fixi-!"

"Be quiet. You are coming with me so I can show you the consequences of your behavior."

I feel terrible. This is all my fault and now Veldora is gonna get punished! I need to say something before it's too late!

"Um… Ms. Velzard! It was my fault, so don't do anything to Veldora!" I plead.

Velzard glares at me. "Is a human really trying to take the fall for one of my little brother's countless misdeeds?"

"Um, I'm not taking the fall for him, but…"

"Don't volunteer yourself to consequences you aren't prepared to handle." She grins with a fierce glint in her eyes.

Under her gaze I find myself shaking uncontrollably, feeling the danger of this situation.

"No, wait, he's telling the truth! I'm innocent! Velzaaard!" Veldora utters a last cry of desperation that fades to nothing as he's dragged out of the room to who-knows-where.

"Oooh boy, that was scary!" Ramiris says, breaking the silence brought by Velzard practically kidnapping Veldora just then.

That was scary! I think I should let Rimuru know what happened…I know Velzard likes Rimuru better than Veldora.

{{Rimuru?}}

{{Yeah? What's up?}}

{{Velzard just took Veldora away because of a misunderstanding…that was my fault.}}

{{Don't worry about it. I'm sure Veldora will sort out the problem with her in a jiffy.}}

{{You think so?}}

{{They're my brother and sister, right? I know them well enough.}}

{{Velzard was angry again, though…I think she might hurt him!}}

{{Fine, I'll tell her not to hurt him. Veldora can sort out whatever 'misunderstanding' Velzard had after she chills out.}}

Grandpa gives me a comforting pat on the head, probably able to tell that I got pretty scared of Velzard just then.

I look over at the Argos console and see it sparking and smoking a bit, but with a testing poke of a button, it still doesn't respond. Whatever Veldora did to it didn't fix it and possibly made it worse, evidenced by the smoke I just mentioned.

"I did not expect Lady Velzard to show up…" Benimaru mutters.

"I'm sorry everyone, this was all my fault…I didn't know when I pointed this thing at that castle that I would upset Velzard…"

"You didn't know any better." Grandpa comforts me with another pat.

Veldora POV

I can only pray that she will go easy on me…

It hasn't even been that long since Velzard has punished me, but here I am again, getting dragged away by her! I didn't even do anything this time!

"Velzard, please, I swear I didn't try to spy on you! You know me well enough to tell when I am lying to you, right, Big Sister?"

She responds with nothing but a terrifying glare.

Now in the middle of my boss arena room of the dungeon, I watch Velzard reel back a punch, preparing to hit me right in the face! I know she won't kill me (because then Rimuru will be upset with her), but that doesn't mean I'm not in for a world of pain and suffering!

I brace myself for the hit, closing my eyes and turning my face away, but the punch I expect never comes.

Velzard sighs and releases me from her grip, lowering her other fist too.

"Our baby brother has begged me not to physically hurt you."

Rimuru has saved me!

"But that does not mean you won't be punished. Come."

"Wait, sister! Obviously, Rimuru doesn't want me to get punished! He said so, right? He said he wants me to be spared?!"

"He said no such thing."

*GULP*

"NOOOOOOOOO! Not the next volume of One Piece! I haven't read that one yet!"

Before my eyes, my precious sacred texts are being obliterated by Velzard. One by one, she's destroying a large number of manga volumes in my possession and there's nothing I can do to stop her without potentially wrecking my entire collection in the process!

"Rimuru can replace it when you have earned it back, I'm sure," she responds, smiling at my pained reaction.

"B-but! But I have no idea when he might do that! He's been on vacation! Not even present to gift me new volumes!" I reason valiantly.

"That is not my problem." Velzard smiles, "But I do agree with you in wanting Rimuru to stay in this world."

She picks up another book from the stack, makes sure I see which one it is, then does the same to it as the rest of the others she's taken from me.

"WHYYYY?! That was a Jujutsu Kaisen one! Velzard, please stooooop!" I try to persuade her with my amazing social skills but to no avail!

"I will when I'm satisfied."

No matter what tone I put on, Velzard won't listen!

"Oh, what is this?" she picks up an unfamiliar volume from the stack that Rimuru recently gifted me.

"Huh?"

I don't recognize that specific series…

"That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime, Volume 1? No, this couldn't be…"

"Velzard, show me that! I need to see that now!"

"I don't think I will. Actually, I think I will keep this one instead of destroying it." Velzard's expression softens as she starts to flip through it, giggling a little before closing it and storing the book away. "All is forgiven. But do not try peeping on me again or I will do worse to you."

I never tried such a foolish thing in the first place!

But, what is that manga that she took from me? That title sounds like a description of something very familiar…

Iruma POV

"What were you doing with Veldora, Grandpa?" I ask, thinking it's kinda weird they were together.

"Oh, I was touring the research facility here! Ms. Ramiris was kind enough to give me one, and Veldora was helping her."

This is where they do research stuff? I didn't know that.

"That's cool! What kind of stuff did they show you?"

"Well, the highlight of the tour was something called a 'Mecha Suit', I even got to give one a test drive! It's a very interesting device, but not something that will be sold to the public, I'd imagine."

"Yeah, they're top secret so don't talk about what you saw, Sully!" Ramiris chirps, flying right up in Grandpa's face and pointing at his nose.

"Yes, of course. I didn't intend on it."

"Where's Opera, by the way?" I question, noticing his absence.

"He's with Ms. Shuna at the moment."

Oh no, is she dressing up Opera since I left earlier!?

"Don't worry, my grandson, they are just doing some cooking together. Opera expressed interest in learning some new recipes and Ms. Shuna obliged."

"Whew, that's good."

"Wow, this is so good!" I exclaim.

I'm eating alongside Rimuru. Opera and Shuna worked together on this meal and I'm absolutely loving it.

"Yeah, you both did good. Thanks, Shuna, Opera." Rimuru adds, also clearly enjoying herself.

"But Lord Rimuru…could you tell us what you like the most?" Shuna asks.

"Yes, Young Master Iruma, please tell us what is the best dish out of them all?" Opera adds his own question.

"It's all so good…I love everything you two made, so I can't really pick a favorite!" I answer the best I can. I really do like it all equally, so I don't have more of an answer than that.

"A favorite, hm?" Rimuru asks, sounding a little nervous for some reason as she looks Shuna in the eyes.

Rimuru's eyes dart across the entire spread of dishes in front of us both.

"I agree with Iruma. It's all great." she quickly answers.

"But surely you can pick one thing that you like the most, Lord Rimuru." Shuna lays her hand on Rimuru's shoulder and practically whispers in her ear.

I instinctively feel the need to scootch my chair away from them both a little.

"I…"

"A ruler must be decisive, no? You must answer the question properly." Shuna quips.

"Shuna…this has nothing to do with that…"

"I still require an answer, my Lord. Please tell everyone here what dish you enjoy the most."

"Shuna. I like it all. I know why you're asking this and I'm not gonna pick favorites here since Opera is at such a disadvantage. He's not used to cooking with the ingredients from this world, so there's no way he could stack up to your amazing cooking in this situation."

Oh. I didn't realize until Rimuru said it, but Shuna and Opera are competing. Now I was really glad I hadn't picked anything…

Shuna sighs, looking a little disappointed. "I suppose you're right," she says reluctantly. Bowing apologetically to Opera, Shuna continues, "you did very well, Opera. I'm sorry for letting this little contest get to my head."

"I enjoyed our little competition myself, so please don't get worried over it." Opera replies formally, "I'm honored to have learned from you."

Wow, I think, looking between them. They're talking so fancily over this… It's almost a little funny since I've never seen Opera interact with other high-class servants like him before.

The door opens and in walks Velzard with Veldora following closely behind, shuffling his feet across the floor while looking down at them. Velzard doesn't look mad anymore, and as soon as she seems to spot Rimuru, she smiles.

Velzard practically skips to the table; not exactly, but she's sure light on her feet and seemingly happy to be here.

"Baby Brother, thank you for inviting me to dinner!"

Velzard plants a kiss on Rimuru's head before sitting right down in the neighboring chair. Rimuru's cheeks flushed a little; she looks embarrassed by Velzard's treatment, but she doesn't complain either.

"You're welcome. Thanks for not beating up Veldora; I can't have him get hurt again since his magicules are still recovering from the last time."

"Yes, and he fuels your dungeon, correct? I wouldn't want to impact that."

Velzard and Rimuru start chatting while Veldora sits there, looking like a total third wheel to the whole thing.

"Sister, as that boy said earlier, it was…" but before Veldora finishes, Velzard shoots him a chilling glare, angry that he interrupted her little talk with Rimuru that she seems to be enjoying so much.

Veldora's gone back to sullenly moping after his attempt to explain things while Rimuru and Velzard start up their chat again. I mouth the word 'sorry' to Veldora, feeling bad for him, and I think he got what I meant.

"Grandson, it is getting late. Are you sleepy?" Grandpa turns and asks me, giving Rimuru a passing glance but not interrupting their conversation.

"Kinda," I reply.

I feel bad that Velzard is still convinced it was all Veldora's fault, but I don't think that I can work up the courage to say anything more to her. I was shaken to my core earlier when she pointed her anger at me, even if it was just for a moment.

So, I leave with Grandpa and Opera, deciding to call it a night since it really is getting late.

Rimuru POV

Iruma leaves the room with Opera and Sullivan, noticeably yawning as he does. I guess he's getting a bit too tired to hang out longer, but he didn't even say goodnight or anything. I guess I can't blame him, though, since Velzard has latched onto me and isn't letting go (figuratively). She can be quite scary, and I'm sure Iruma didn't want to interrupt her at all just to say something as unimportant as 'goodnight.'

Velzard glances at Veldora several times and seems to tense her brow. "You know Rimuru, even if he is so annoying to this day. He used to be much worse. Do you remember the little trouble of Milim almost destroying the Gates of Heaven and the Mana Tree? Veldora almost did those things without being under control at all." She seems rather angry about that, even if she's been hiding it under several layers of poker face. "So, he has improved under you."

"See, Rimuru? I have matured!" Veldora shouts.

"That you only got that meaning out of my story proves the opposite." Velzard quips back before taking a sip of her drink.

She really isn't in a great mood right now, is she? Maybe I should do something to lighten the atmosphere a bit.

I motion to Shuna, who has been on standby most of this dinner outside of that little food-judging thing she pulled earlier. She got the idea and bowed her way out of the room to bring us all some drinks.

Some of Tempest's finest liquor is soon brought in (nothing less for my older sister!). Spoiling her a bit will surely get her into a better and more manageable mood, or at least that's my idea.

"Thank you, Shuna."

So we drink and talk, or more like Velzard and I do. Veldora got uncharacteristically quiet and doesn't even touch the glass in front of him and instead just sits there muttering and grumbling to himself.

"I did find something very interesting in our brother's possession, although I consider it my property now."

She took something from him as punishment? I guess that's acceptable, although I wonder what item that Veldora had could've piqued her interest?"

But then she pulls it out.

A very special manga volume that I included as a little prank on Veldora when giving him his last batch of manga.

Veldora always wanted to be a shonen protagonist inside one of his 'sacred texts', so why not make one about myself and my life as a slime? He'd honestly probably enjoy reading it, but still, be left seething with jealousy at the same time. A perfect win in my book, using a book, I think. Yeah, it's a little embarrassing to make an autobiographical manga, but it didn't bother me enough at the time to stop me.

But, Velzard getting ahold of it? Nah, that's not okay! Waaaay too embarrassing, especially since I bet Guy will find out about it if she has it.

"Velzard, please give that back to him."

"Oh? Why should I, exactly? If you are willing to share what seems to be a sort of diary with our brother, I think that I, as your eldest sister, also deserve to give it a read, don't you agree?"

"No, I don't agree."

"Why not?"

Is she pouting? Really?! Man, she's showing her relation to Veldora right now!

"I don't mind if you read it, but you can't take it home with you. Read it while you're still here in Tempest and give it back when you're done."

I can't risk Guy finding out about this!

"I suppose I can agree to that, Baby Brother! I didn't know you were so shy about your past!" Velzard accompanies this comment with another pat on my head. "If you're more comfortable with me reading it here, I will oblige."

"Why is she so kind to you, Rimuru? Why can't Sister be sweet with me too…?" Veldora whines quietly to himself.

Velzard spends a few minutes flipping through the manga, taking her time to enjoy herself. She keeps giggling at whatever she's seeing, but I try not to think too hard about that. When she's done, she hands it over to Veldora who gratefully takes it.

"I must read it now!" he declares with sudden vigor and enthusiasm.

"Fine, Veldora, go ahead."

"Why don't you bring your wife out to spend time with us all." Velzard suddenly says out of nowhere.

"What? You mean Ciel?" I ask her. Yeah, she knows about Ciel and everything, but I wasn't expecting this question at all.

"Of course I mean Ciel. Did you get yourself a second wife without telling your dear older sister?"

"No, no, you misunderstand!"

Ciel? Do you want to join us in a clone body?

[[Certainly!]]

Ciel's fully on board with the idea, so I am too.

So, making a Parallel Existence body in the chair next to me, Ciel takes charge of it.

Same outfit, same face, pretty much the same everything minus her expression and eye color. Ciel's using a normal copy of me and not the Amane body she made for use in the Netherworld.

"Do tell me, Ciel, what has Rimuru been up to lately? I get the idea that he doesn't want to talk about it."

"You will not get any information out of me that my husband is unwilling to give you himself," Ciel responds without an ounce of fear, which is pretty typical for her.

"Rimuru has been-" Veldora starts to say, but is shot down by simultaneous dirty looks from both Ciel and Velzard. I would've glared at him myself too if those two didn't beat me to the punch.

"Don't interrupt us, Little Brother, and don't go against Baby Brother's wishes by blurting out something he wants to keep to himself. I want to know, but I respect his privacy as well."

I get the feeling she doesn't share that sentiment when it comes to Veldora, and somehow what she just said feels like some sort of jab at him.

"Ciel, you should drink with us," I suggest, trying to change the subject.

"I refuse to consume poison," She firmly states.

"C'mon, Ciel, loosen up a little! There's no harm in it! You went to all the trouble of inhabiting that body and you should take advantage!" I try to persuade her into some… relaxation.

"Master, I will not."

"I'm surprised."

"What do you mean?"

"That you're not up for the challenge."

"Master, I know what you are doing."

"The great Ciel, the amazing manas that knows all, is convinced that she can't handle a bit of intoxication!"

"I am able to, I just see no point in it."

"Just one drink! I dare ya!"

"You would not be even urging me to do so if you were not already under the effects of multiple glasses yourself." She reasons.

"I think it would be a nice thing for you to try, Ciel. From what my baby brother has told me, you are quite stiff and strict most of the time." Velzard adds, swirling her glass in her hand a bit. "I, for one, am enjoying myself and I think you should join me and your 'master'."

"The conditions are the consumption of just one glass, correct?"

"With resistances off completely." I make sure to clarify.

"And then you will be satisfied, Master?"

"I guess."

"I will take your challenge if it will make you happy."

Finally.

"Great!"

"My baby brother has actually won a debate over his partner and wife! That is not something that Guy has managed to do even once with me over the millennia that we have been paired up. Hehe."

I don't really like Velzard calling Ciel my "wife," but I'm too drunk to care. She's in a good mood, too–I don't want to spoil that.

Veldora shoves his glass across the table to Ciel, still reading the manga he got back. He hasn't touched it this entire time, just staring at it while he sits there quietly.

"I am abstaining tonight, so you can have mine," he says with his face still buried in my self-made manga.

"Weird. You don't normally do that, Veldora," I eye him questioningly. Even when he's reading, he enjoys a good drink. Maybe he's worried it would ruin his manga-reading experience or something?

"It is my decision! Mine!" he insists.

"I never said it wasn't…"

"Harumph," he huffs.

Crossed arms, pouting, and a whole load of childishness. That's Veldora for you…

Ciel takes the glass in her hands for a moment, just staring at it as if debating whether to go through with drinking it. But, she agreed, so there's no going back on her word.

Then, with literally no warning, she downs the whole glass in an instant. A whole glass full of hard liquor.

"Ciel, that's too fast! You're gonna be sick!"

"The taste is unpleasant, so I wanted to make it fast." She replies matter-of-factly as she elegantly wipes the small amount of liquid left on her lips.

Ciel seems fine, even if she did frown a bit as the alcohol went down. I think she doesn't like the burn or whatever.

"Are you sure you're fine?" I ask, a little concerned, then her eyes go wide and seem to dull a bit.

"This is…what it feels like…? I…feeeeel…funnyyy…whoooah…" she mumbles.

"Whoa, you look like your head's spinning! How did you get drunk so fast!?" I frantically ask, getting very worried for her.

"I believeeee…I…the resiiistance…turned offff…compleeeetely…"

She's swaying in her seat yet still keeping her human form, but then just flops onto the table and stays there, lying her head face-first on it.

"Okay, the challenge is over! You can turn your resistance back on if you want to now!"

"Buuut…it feeeels…gooooooood…" Her voice is a bit muffled from being against the table, but I'm still able to understand her.

"Ciel, sit up and look at me!"

"Yyyyeesss…Mmmasterrr…"

She forces herself up and looks at me with bleary unfocused eyes, her mouth slightly drooling.

"Youuu…are sooooo cute! Sssooo cuuuute! Diiid you knoooow that?" she pokes me right in the nose with her finger.

"Ciel, don't do that…"

"Buuut…y'know what'sss jjjuuusst as cuuuute?" She moves uncomfortably close to me, her face flushed red.

"What, Ciel…?" I tiredly ask, wondering what her intoxicated mind has come up with.

"Our…child!"

I spit out my drink in shock, sputtering. I did not see that coming!

"You had a child, Rimuru!? And you didn't tell me!? Your brother and lifelong friend! I feel betrayed!" Veldora stands up and yells at the top of his lungs, his voice laced with offense and jealousy.

But, someone else is even more worked up!

"You did WHAAAAAT?!" Velzard screams and stands up, filling the room with her freezing aura. I don't think I've ever seen her this mad in my entire life! This is bad!

"She's just talking nonsense because she's drunk! I don't have a kid!" I try to explain, no longer feeling any effects from the alcohol. The shock of all of this made it wear off in an instant.

"Don't you even attempt to deny it!"

"No, Velzard! Don't get the wrong idea!"

"Lord Rimuru has a child? Since when was this a thing?" I hear Shuna from behind me, her voice ominously monotonic.

"Shuna! Listen, I-"

"Maaaassterrrr, I'm not wrooooong… Aaaam I…?" Ciel speaks up with a pure, innocent face.

"Rimuru, explain!" Veldora jumps at me, grabbing me by the face.

"I agree with Little Brother for once, please do explain yourself! You know how dangerous it is for a powerful monster to conceive unassisted! I know you help all the monsters under you with that, but that doesn't mean you have anyone who can help you with it!" Velzard says frantically as she gets up in my face too, hers red and furious.

"No, please!" I wave my hands, begging, "I have no idea what she's talking about! I didn't do anything that crazy, I promise!"

"But Maaasterrr…" Ciel leans against me, almost completely limp because of the alcohol. "I thiiiiink… the baaaabyy sliiiiime… has potentiaaaaalllll…*hic*."

"A slime baby?!" Veldora shouts.

{{Oh no… this is a code S.L.I.M.E.!}} Shuna's voice shouts over the telepathy net between me and my closest subordinates.

"...What?" I deadpan, having no clue what the hell that is!
