The Dark Aster was quite the impressive-looking ship in Apophis eyes. He followed closely to Ronan's side as he commanded the two guys in the cockpit to set off and leave Naga. Apophis and Ronan's footsteps echoed throughout the spaceship. Guards were lined up against the walls of the large cockpit room, keeping up security. A creepy-looking adult male with pitch-black skin and a messed-up face was talking to Ronan.

"So, Ronan, why do you have such a young Naga with you?" The black skin man said, looking at Apophis with his most white eyes and toothless smile giving him the creeps.

"Guard commander, Klazod, this young Naga has the making of an Assassin, so I want you to escort him to a room to rest for the night," Ronan commanded.

"As you wish, Ronan, I will take the young Naga to an empty room on the ship to sleep in," Klazod said."I take it he will be training with the two young daughters who will join us in a few days for training?"

"His training will be separated, but he will watch their spare," Ronan replied.

"Two young daughters?" Apophis questioned, looking over at Ronan.

"The daughters of Thanos, with who I allied with, will be training with me for a bit," Ronan explained."Now off you go, Apophis, with Klazod," He said, pushing Apophis towards Klazod's side.

"Come on, we will get you situation and find something for you to wear to sleep," Klazod said.

Apophis nodded as he followed Klazod down a pathway with his new weapon still secured in his hand. He couldn't help but wonder what the two females coming to train would be like.

'I heard of the name Thanos once from my parents. They say he is a dangerous threat in the Galaxy.' Apophis thought as he was walking beside Klazod, deep in thought.

Apophis was brought inside a medium size room. It was lit up with bright lights in the corner of the dark blue wall of the room. As well as a dim light up on the ceiling above a twin-size bed with a gray covering. The room also had a round glass window allowing one to see the beautiful view of the stars. The final touch to the room was black shelves to put his belongings or clothes on when he gets some.

"Here is your room," Klazod said, holding open the bedroom door."I will find something for you to wear to sleep, don't wander off anywhere," He said.

Apophis nodded his head as Klazod left the room, shutting the bedroom door. His red eyes scanned the room, taking in the view of his new home. He then climbed onto the bed and glanced at the window, looking at the stars and thinking about his older brother, wondering what his life was like. Where ever he was in the Galaxy.

"Big brother, where ever you are. Hopefully, we can run into each other one day, and you can tell me why you never came back," He whispered, looking out of the window of his room on the ship that would be his new home.

His attention was pulled away from the window as he heard the sound of the bedroom door opening, and he turned around to see that Klazod had returned from getting clothes for Aopphis to sleep on in.

"Here you go, boy, found some clothes that should fit you," Klazord said, tossing a folded-up blue shirt and matching pants.

"Uh, thanks," Apophis said, catching the clothes.

"Sure, boy, somebody will come to get you for breakfast, and Ronan will let you know when it is time for training," Klazord explained.

"Yes, understand," Apophis said with a nod of his head."Will the two females be with us tomorrow?" He asked.

"No, it takes at least four days to reach Sanctuary from here," Klazord said."Meaning you have four days of training with Ronan by yourself. Now go to sleep, boy," He said as he shut the bedroom door, leaving Apophis alone to get changed and off to bed for the night.

Apophis got off the bed and started to change out of the everyday clothes he had on and into the blue shirt and pants he was given to wear for the night. He then put the original garments resting in a ball on the floor in front of the shelves before heading back to his bed and getting under the covers.

"I miss you so much, mom and dad," He said softly, laying his head against the pillow."However, I'm going to be okay here, I guess. I'm also going to find big brother one day and find out why he left. You never told me why he was gone, but maybe it was for a good reason," He mumbled as he drifted off to sleep.

The following morning Apophis was woken up by the sound of knocking on his bedroom door.

"Yeah!" He called out, glancing on over at the door as it started to open.

The door fully opened to reveal a slim build pale blue skin man with golden eyes and wearing a black jacket over a white shirt and black pants.

"It's almost time for breakfast, so come along, and I'll show you the area where we eat on the Dark Aseter," The man said, signaling for Apophis to follow him outside of the bedroom.

"Wait, we're the bathroom around here?" Apophis asked, looking at the man.

"There one across the hall," The man replied, opening the door and pointing to the door across the hall."Use the bathroom and then follow me to breakfast."

"Yes, man," Apophis said, not knowing the man's actual name.

"Krobb, the Warrior, a Kree like Ronan," The man said, introducing him."The guy from last night was a Sakaaran," He explained.

"Oh," Apophis said quickly, walking into the bathroom.

He returned five minutes later, and his gaze trained on Krobb as he led him to the dining area. "I wonder what kind of breakfast we will have?" He questioned to himself, following Krobb's lead.

Hey readers!

The fourth chapter is here and published. I have been having a good time writing about Apophis' background and developing out his character as a child before he becomes the Assassin he is in the future. He will have his first meeting with Nebula soon, and this is before he starts feeling romantic love for her. I know from their background that Nebula and Gamora would train with Ronan when they were younger and later lent out to him as they were older to help retrieve the orb.

I hope you have been enjoying the story! Your feedback is very appreciated.

Thanks for reading. More chapters will be coming soon!
