Relic Receiving and Grimm Killing
Salem is seen standing at the cliffside looking over the Emerald Forest where she had sent the candidates out to prove themselves if they have what it takes to become students of Beacon Academy, hoping this initiation will have zero casualties despite some might have a run in with Grimms including Oscar.
"(Oscar Pine, the more I think about you the more I feel something in my heart like how it was when I first met Ozpin.)" Salem thought placed a hand on her breast.
"Ruby Rose and Weiss Schnee have become partners now. Oh dear, I fear those two are going to be like fire and ice, and not in a good way." Glynda informed.
"How odd, I thought Ruby would try to find Yang so they can be partner." Salem surprised.
"You were hoping that encounter would be like Summer and Raven, weren't you?" Glynda asked with a deadpan expression.
"Can you blame me? Those two were the top Huntresses who have ever graduated from the school before Leina, but I supposed Ruby and Weiss could work." Salem said.
"Except it doesn't look like those two will get along. Speaking of Yang Xiao Long, she seems to have found herself partnered up with Blake Belladonna." Glynda mentioned.
"Aw yes, daughter of the current chief Menagerie and of the late Faunus man, Ghira." Salem recalled the info about that girl.
"Coming to Beacon maybe her way of reforming herself from the White Fang that has caused trouble for everyone." Salem guessed.
"I hope that trouble doesn't come hurting us." Glynda worried.
"Worry not, I believe the ones we are training will be great things as those before them and Oscar may do the greatest of them all." Salem smiled looking in the direction Oscar was launched at.
"You really seem to praise Oscar more than the other students." Glynda raised an eyebrow at Salem.
"I'm just thinking what kind of amazing things he will do in Remnant." Salem giggled.
"Let just wait and see how he will do in the initiation, and we will grade him the same way we have with any other students." Glynda reminded the headmistress
"I know, I know, but Oscar is still the first male warrior to awaken his own aura and we will need to help guide him." Salem agreed.
"Besides, I already said that he is my responsibility to train and groom him to be the proper young man." Salem stated.
"That you did, but just don't try to be all spoiled for the boy." Glynda warned.
"I'll try, not I will make no such promises." Salem said with a grin.
Glynda rolled her eyes knowing that Salem is going to be a little much to the boy like a girl just wanted to play but go a little overboard, but she couldn't help but see that Oscar is a little cute for being such a young boy who is only two years younger than the rest along with Ruby Rose.
Then she looks back at her Scroll to see the live footage to see Nora just found her partner.
"It would seem Nora Valkyrie has partnered up with Iroha Shodown. Good lord, I can't possibly imagine those two getting along. Still, she's probably better off than Miss Nikos." Glynda said sliding over to the footage of Pyrrha being paired with one young girl.
"Having doubts about that girl?" Salem asked.
"I don't care what her transcript says that Joan girl is not ready for this level of combat despite her impressive strength." Glynda stated.
"Things can surprise you in many ways." Salem smiled as she walks away from the cliff.
"I guess we'll find out soon enough. At their current pace, they should reach the temple within just a few minutes." Glynda decided to go with this and followed Salem.
"Speaking of which, what did you use as relics this year?" Glynda asked.
Salem didn't answer for a second as she took out a small object from her pocket and looking at it with a smile on her face thinking back on her late husband.
"Something I thought would make things interesting." Salem said.
(With Oscar)
Oscar looks up at the girl now known as Emerald and see the hand she is offering to help him up.
"Hi, I'm Oscar Pine." Oscar introduced himself as he took Emerald's hand and got up.
Emerald is a young woman with medium-brown skin and dark-red eyes. Her hair is a light, mint-green with a straight fringe and bangs as well as two long locks on each side in the back. She wears a two bronze-colored rings on her middle fingers as well as a pair of strappy high-heeled pumps. An intricate white top and an olive-colored crop top, on the back of which is her personal emblem. This emblem is in the shape of a cut gem, most likely referring to her name. This is accompanied by white shorts, decorated with what appears to be a gold coin-plated belt with four gold chains draping around her back from two of the coins and what seems to be a green loincloth. She also sports white cropped pants with brown chaps that attach to her brown belt. Breasts sizes: E-cup.
"I know the name, you're the biggest talk in the school even to the upperclassmen." Emerald mentioned.
"I didn't think I would become famous so fast and I'm not even an official student here." Oscar pointed out.
"Well, I don't think you have to worry about getting chased like crazy now that I'm here, partner." Emerald patted Oscar on the back.
"Right, partners. I just hope I can do well here." Oscar prayed.
"Well, you were able to get away from the Beowulf's sudden attack. So, I'm sure you'll be fine." Emerald mentioned as she starts walking.
"Oh, you saw all that." Oscar chuckled embarrass.
"Right when I spotted you, I was worried about explaining your death to Cinder if anything were to happen to you." Emerald said.
"You know Cinder?" Oscar asked.
"Yeah, like your friend Mirim, she also spotted me as potential to become a Huntress though you could say we knew each other a bit longer." Emerald nodded.
"Glad to know, it's easier to be friends with someone of another person we know." Oscar believed.
"You have a point there." Emerald agreed.
Emerald looks around to see which way is north to find the ruin and get the relics for the test though Oscar taps her arm to get her attention and pointed the direction of north, she nods seeing that Oscar knows what he is doing, and they walk together.
"So, must be great to getting to study in Beacon." Oscar said.
"Yeah, I never thought of Huntresses much because I lived in a very poor life, and no one even cared to help me which made me do some very bad choices." Emerald explained with a sad face.
"But you're here now and you want to help people, to prevent such a fate to happen on anyone else." Oscar pointed out.
"True, Cinder did say I could be of big help to those who are like me in a way." Emerald smiled.
"Then I believe so too. I think you're going to be an awesome Chocolate Mint Huntress." Oscar complimented.
Emerald became shocked of hearing that he just called her a chocolate mint girl that no other boy would ever say that to her, she can feel her heart racing so fast and her cheeks blushing dark red on her brown skin to suddenly feel this way from a few kind words from this kid.
"Huh, thanks?" Emerald thanked though a little confuse.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Did I offend you or anything?" Oscar apologized.
"No, no, it's fine. I was just caught off guard from what you, it was very sweet." Emerald said.
"Oh, okay." Oscar smiled a little.
But then he notices something lurking in the shadows and quickly pull Emerald back while bringing out his new weapon and on instinct, press the handle and out came a black shiny hard pole extending about four and a half feet long. It made contact with the something that is lurking turns out to be an Ursa as the strike made it stumble back a few feet.
"Whoa!" Emerald surprised.
But she instantly got back on her focus and jump over Oscar making her way to the Ursa as she starts slashing fast at the stomach, even extending her blades into chains for some more slashing action then she jumps to impale her blades through the neck and fired some bullets killing it before jumping off.
"Nice, how did you know there was a Grimm?" Emerald asked.
"Not sure, I just noticed something didn't felt right over there and guess my body just moved on its own." Oscar explained.
"Well, that definitely shows you got the making of a true Hunter." Emerald smiled.
"I guess, I just really want to help people and fight by Mirim's side." Oscar said with tiny blushes appearing on his cheeks.
"Wow, sounds like you got a big crush on the girl." Emerald teased.
"What I, no, no, I was just, the thing is we are close… But not like close-close to be…" Oscar tried to think of an excuse to drop the subject.
"Well, we better get a move on if we're ever going to get to that ruin and get the relics along with forming a team." Emerald decided to focus on the test much to Oscar's relief.
"Would it be okay if I ask you about your Semblance?" Oscar asked.
"I think it would be better if I show you in action but let just say that I can make other's see things that aren't really there." Emerald hinted with a wink.
"See things that aren't… Oh, you can hast Hallucinations! That's your Semblance!" Oscar figured out her Semblance.
"…Yes, my Semblance is Hallucination." Emerald deadpanned that this farm boy had to figure her out this soon.
"I sure hope Mirim is doing okay." Oscar looked up at the sky, thinking about Mirim and wonders how she is doing right now.
(With Mirim)
"GET AWAY!" Mirim killed a Beowulf with her saw-sword through the stomach and cut it in half.
"Okay, that should be all for now." Mirim panted, taking in a moment to catch up on her breathing until she got herself steady.
"Now, to hurry on to the ruin!" Mirim determined to past this test as dashes through the trees.
Mirim thought about how Oscar is doing during his time in this initiation and worry about being out here to fight off some Grimm, but she knows Oscar is strong enough to take care of himself hopefully until they meet up to be partner up. But that also made her worry that he may already have teamed up with another girl who isn't her and pray that whoever this girl is will know that Oscar is hers.
"Whoa, whoa, mine? I'm not a slave owner or anything!" Mirim shocked at herself from the sudden dark thoughts.
Just when Mirim finally got out of the forest into an open area, two Beowulves suddenly pop out from the other side of the tree she just ran past, Mirim saw this and was about to ready herself to fight only to see those black wolf monsters to slide on the ground dead and slowly turning into nothing but black mist.
"My, my, those pesky puppies just wouldn't leave me alone. Glad I know a way to make them heel." A young woman sighed.
"Hey, are you okay?" Mirim asked concern.
"Oh, could it be the first person I see might be my partner or could you already have one?" The girl asked.
"Oh, no, I didn't find anyone until now. So, I guess that means we're partners now." Mirim stated.
"Well, if that is meant to be then I will not go against the will of the sun and moon!" The girl said smiling and facing up toward the sun.
"(The sun and moon?)" Mirim thought confused.
"Well then, I guess we should start introducing ourselves. My name is Mirim Crimson, I'm from the same town as Oscar." Mirim introduced herself.
"Ah, so a fateful friend of the first ever male warrior of Remnant, then it must be fate for us to become partners for our times in Beacon!" The girl excited as she twirls and dance around Mirim.
Mirim chuckles nervously of how this girl is being friendly in her own way and does think her dancing looks a little cool.
"So, shall we get going to the relic together, huh…?" Mirim waited for the girl to say her name since she already gave away her name.
"Oh yes, my name is Luna Luna Calibara and I am honor to have you as my partner!" Luna Luna revealed her name.
Luna Luna is a beautiful young woman with long black hair that goes down to her waist and has multicolored ends, and green eyes. She has a colorful bluish-white wing on the right of her head, and a purple horn on the left. She wears a very revealing outfit, consisting of white cloths with blue ends attached to her upper arms, and ornate strings that go down her torso and attach to a purple horn-like piece, with white pearls going underneath her. On her legs she has detailed thighbands and fishnets leading down to her detailed sandals. One of her most notable features is her four multi-colored tentacles. She can also alter the pigmentation of her skin. Breasts sizes: G-cup.
"Luna Luna, that sounds like a very pleasant name." Mirim complimented.
"Thank you, now let us be off to find the ruin and get those relics!" Luna Luna skipped away onto her new adventure.
"Wait, I think the ruin is the other way!" Mirim corrected as she pointed at the opposite direction.
"Thank you, dear new friend!" Luna Luna thanked as she now skips toward the right direction.
"Well, I think Oscar doesn't mind having a new friend." Mirim chuckled and quickly chase after Luna Luna.
(With Yang and Blake)
Yang and Blake have become partners having gotten through the forest and finally made their way to the ancient ruin at the north where they were told to go, seeing the ruin to be small and some things inside.
"Think this is it?" Yang asked as she wanted to be sure they got the right place, but Blake just gave her a look and walk over to the ruin.
"(Man, why did I ended up getting the silent type.)" Yang thought sighed.
Yang quickly follows Blake into the ruin to see there are some chess pieces, one each on one pillar that seems to be something important and notice there are empty pillars too.
"Chess pieces?" Blake wondered if these are supposed to be the relics they're supposed to be getting.
"Some of them are missing. Looks like we weren't the first ones here." Yang pointed out.
"Well, I guess we should pick one." Blake shrugged.
"Excuse me, is this by any chance the ruin?" A young woman asked.
"You're looking at it." Blake answered without turning back.
"Looks like you two got here safely too." Yang said.
"I wouldn't say safely, but we are here and that's what important." The girl said.
"Annelotte, we should hurry before something dangerous happens." One short girl worried a little.
"Fear not, Yuit. There doesn't seem to be any Grimms around here, so we should be safe at the moment." Annelotte believed.
Annelotte is a young woman with long purple hair that covers her whole back and blue eyes. She wears a ornate metal corset-shaped breastplate on her torso followed by a blue skirt with white ends, and a blue cloth wrap behind her. On her arms she has two full length armguards with blue cloth pauldrons, and on her legs, she has thigh-high metal boots. Breasts sizes: Breasts sizes: F-cup.
"If you say so, big bro." Yuit hoped Annelotte is right.
Yuit is about the same age as everyone else though she has the appearance feature of a little girl with long black hair and blue eyes. She wears a detailed green dress, with a big golden key and a green cape on her torso. She also got a huge backpack about twice her size. Breasts size: A-cup.
"Hey Blake, how about a cute little pony?" Yang asked.
"Sure." Blake smirked.
"I'm surprise we were about to find this place." Yuit commented.
"Well, getting here isn't trouble but perhaps getting back maybe the true test." Annelotte guessed.
Suddenly they heard screaming from a very, very far distance.
"Did you guys hear that?" Yang asked a little worry.
"Someone must be in trouble." Annelotte worried.
"Should we do something, Blake?" Yang asked her partner, but she notice that Blake is looking up and saw something or someone falling from the sky.
"Heads uuuuuuuup!"

Looks like Oscar has gotten along with Emerald who appears to be his partner though that is a surprise you guys are gonna find out soon, and Mirim has also found herself a partner from the dancing Luna Luna as more female heroes and Oscar are coming together at the ancient ruin.
