Act One: The Arrival
Chapter Twenty-Two: Isabella Finds Out About The Cullens

Lena finally pulled back into the driveway at Charlie's, Jessica offered to drive Lauren home since Lena had given her a ride to school that morning and the four girls went their separate ways, Lena told them that she would drive them all to school the next day, which they agreed to.

Lena took her prom dress up to her room and hung it up to where it wouldn't get wrinkled until it was time for Prom.

She decided to call Alice and warn her that Isabella was going to find out about them soon. Alice picked up after the second ring, "HI Lena!"

"Hey, Alice, who is with you right now?"

"Just Jas, Emmett, and Rosalie, why?"

"Just wondering because of what I'm, calling about. I just wanted to give you guys a heads-up, but Isabella is close to figuring out about the vampire thing... she's forced her way into going dress shopping with the girls and I to go to a bookstore for some Quileute legend book because of some story that Jacob had told her.

Rosalie blew out an annoyed breath, "Gods, I told him not to get involved with her... I knew that she wasn't a good fit, but I couldn't clarify it being a daughter of Aphrodite thing that I just knew because Edward isn't allowed to know about that, but still asshole should have listened to me."

Lena smirked slightly, "Honestly at this point if I knew it would completely destroy Charlie with her being his daughter and all once she knew about him, I would turn her into the Volturi myself and have her killed would solve so many issues but with how sweet and welcoming Charlie has been to me, I can't do that to him unless she completely does something that makes him not care about her safety and well-being."

Lena heard Rosalie snort at what she said, Alice then remembered the vision she had the other day, "Oh Lena I almost forgot, but I wanted to talk to you about something it was a vision I had the other day."

"Sure, Alice, what's up?" The blonde was curious as to what Alice had seen in the vision.

"Well, in the vision..." Then the pixie-like vampire explained the vision that she had about the blonde witch.

Lena was quiet as she listened to what Alice was telling her, "Well the blonde woman you described would be my mother, Kassia, she has a job helping with the remodeling of a museum in Italy this summer and the two of us are going to be there all summer, just hitting the tourist spots and stuff all over the country when mom doesn't have to work and the last thing sounds like we were supposed to tour the Castle in Volterra, but mom got called in to check on the progress of the museum, so it looks like I'm taking the tour by myself which will be fine because my grandfather is a trusted ally to the Volturi, so I just tell them I'm Silas' granddaughter, and they wouldn't dare to harm me."

"Okay, well, that makes what I saw make a lot more sense now." So the two talked for a while longer before Lena decided that she should get ready for bed since it was getting late.

Lena had done all of her nighttime routines and was getting ready to lie down when she heard Isabella come in, and let's be honest she wasn't trying to be very quiet coming up to her room and the walls are very thin, and easy to hear through, so Lena heard her easily.

The blonde witch was just thankful that the brunette never brought her sexcapades to the house because they would hear everything, which was something that Lena never wanted to hear again, she had heard it plenty back in Arizona.

The brunette slammed her bedroom door shut, making Lena roll her eyes, the blonde lay in bed with her bedside lamp on and a book in her hands, she read for a while and then in the quietness, she heard a gasp, "Oh my god, the Cullens are vampires." Lena rolled her eyes again, she knew that this was coming.

The blond witch laid her book on her bedside table and cut the lamp off, deciding to get some sleep for school the next day. She was glad that she warned Alice, Rosalie, Jasper, and Emmett about Isabella when she did.

The next morning for once, Isabella had gotten up before Lena and was in the kitchen with a smug look on her face when the blonde witch walked in making Lena roll her eyes as she snorted before a smirk slipped onto her face, "I don't know why you're looking at me all smug and shit, but you got nothing to be smug about so just wipe that look off your face right now."

Isabella scoffed, "I know why the Cullens are so different, and you don't so yeah I have a right to be smug here."

Lena's smirk widened as she snorted again, "Oh that, I've known from the moment I laid my eyes on one of them, so you really have nothing to be smug about here, and plus my mother is an old friend of Dr. Cullen's, I had never met them before moving here, but I had heard my mom talk about them so yeah, I knew that a long time ago." The brunette clenched her jaw as she fumed she finally thought she had one-uped Lena only to learn that she was sorely mistaken.

Lena had breakfast and went back upstairs to brush her teeth and finish getting ready for school.

Lena pulled into the parking lot of the school just in time to see Isabella and Edward disappear into the woods behind the school she rolled her eyes, as she parked and looked at her three friends in the car with her, "great they're gonna be a thing now which is only gonna end up being a disaster."

Jessica snorted, "Yeah, I know, but like they totally deserve each other."

Lena chuckled, at what Jess had said as they climbed out of the car, "I'll be right back girls." then she walked over to the remaining Cullens, "See I am glad I called you when I did Alice because she came in last night and almost immediately figured it out because of that Quileute legends book, and I'm guessing some googling."

Rosalie scoffed, "This is gonna end very badly."

Lena nodded at her, "I agree Rosie, but for now there is nothing that we can do about it."

"Yeah, I know, but that doesn't mean that I have to like it."

Lena talked to them for a few minutes and then headed back over to her girls, "Sorry about that, girls, but I needed to speak to Alice and Rosalie for a minute."

"It's fine, Lena," Angela answered her back with a smile.

Lauren gave her a look, "I still can't believe that you befriended four out of the five Cullens."

Lena just grinned at her blonde friend, "What can I say, Laur, I'm just that good." that made all four of the girls laugh.
