In this chapter, it's bedtime but a certain male-cub is too nervous to sleep because of bad dreams only it might take Lylla's help but she understands as she, Teefs and Floor have bad dreams too.

"Rocket you okay, it's pretty late and we're growing cubs so we need our rest to grow, if you're afraid-" Lylla told the male raccoon-cub seeing him still up which bothered her, she cared about all of them but for some reason she had this soft spot for him placing a paw on his furry shoulder noticing he'd been drawing what looked like a map impressing her hearig him yawning as he was scared in case he had nightmares from the lab which she understood wrapping her orange-furred arms around him in a hug feeling he was shaky understanding completely as she had bad dreams too but didn't want to admit it.

"Come on, buddy we're gonna need you and sleep helps that genius brain but if you have bad dreams, we'll help you, all of us, up I, me, Teefs and Floor, we're a family." she told him soothingly which he loved the sound of yawning and rubbing his tired eyes sleepily as he could work on the map in the morning but having some warm milk which would relax him into sleeping heading to the room he shared with Lylla getting into his bunk wrapping the blanket arouhd his brown-furred body which felt nice.

"Night, Rocket." Lylla told him gently to him before falling asleep.

"Night Lyllie." he whispered to her too, hearing sleeping noises from above him meaning Lylla was asleep which relieved him but he couldn't sleep as he wasn't sure why guessing he was too excited, or scared from what happened to them in the lab lying on his furry side just lying there listening to the sleep sounds from his friends which was comforting to him which was helping him relaxing into sleep just as it was morning, which Lylla was noticing seeing Teefs and Floor run into her and Rocket's room seeing Lylla putva finger to her furry mouth to signal them to be quiet.

"Ssshhhh guys he didn't sleep well but we should let him rest, let's go play." she said softly sliding down the ladder landing on her furry feet as they ran out of the room playing tag until Floor accidentally hit the anti-gravity button and weee hovering turning it ijto hover tag and being dorks not noticing a sleepy Rocket scampering over, fixing the problem making Lylla alomg with Teefs and Floor exchange a look, as they were concerned seeing him rubbing his eyes with his paw.

"Did we wake you up, Captain." Teefs asked making him confused.

"I'm not captain, Lylla's more that." he mumbled to them.

"We'll discuss that later, once he's fully awake." she told them.

"Sorry Rocket but we'll have breakfast." Floor replied to him.

Lylla saw him yawnijg as he was drinking juice but eating cereal noticing Rocket was zoning in and out which meant he needed his rest seeing him sluggishly heading back to his and Lylla's room tucking himself back into his bed falling asleep as Lylla checked on him.

"Yeah he's asleep." she mumbled to herself leaving him be and telling Floor and Teefs that Rocket had fallen asleep explaining he had nightmares which they got, asking how they could help their so-called captain sleep bettee which Lylla thought sweet knowing that an nightlight might help seeing them with their favourite comfort items from the lab only Rocket didn't have one thanks to the High Evloutionary

"Hey a blaster, he loves these things and maybe he can blast the nightmares away." Teefs suggested

"That's a really good idea, he'd love it but worried for him, the High Evloutionary scared him the most." Lylla told him.

…. Huh I slept almost all morning, I hope they're okay." Rocket mumbled beginning to stir sitting up and hearing quietness making his anxiousness rise and rise knowing somebody who would know, his AI in his holo gauntlet seeing a raccoon female being projected hearijg him ask if his friends were okay.

Yes Rocket they're safe and playing, but concerned about you not sleeping because of you know.

"Ohhh thanks, as they are important to me." he said seeing her vanish into the gauntlet going to find themm feeling them hug him which made a good but warm feeling inside him.

"Thanks guys, sorry I scared you." he told them.

"Don't worry, we get it we have bad dreams too." Floor told him, surprising him seeing Lylla nodding giving him the blaster seeing a grin On his face thanking her.

"You're welcome as it might help scare the nightmares away." Teefs told him.
