Chapter 8: Training for the Finals

"I'm sorry Sensei." Sakura said after they exited the forest of death, she being the only one of the team who lost in the prelims.

"Relax Sakura. It was impressive you lasted so long with chakra exestuation. Besides you tied, didn't lose." Naruto said and turned to Sasuke and Miu "So... ready to train?"

He didn't look so sure and Sasuke narrowed his eyes "You plan to train both of us? At the same time?"

Naruto chuckled nervously "I don't want to show favoritism?"

Miu rolled her eyes "Train Teme Bro. You can handle whatever Oro-Teme placed on him. Just find me a good teacher."

Naruto blinked before breaking into a grin "Then I'll get you the best teacher! But first..."

"Let's go eat some good homemade food!"

The genins look confused "You... are going to make us food?" Sasuke asked and Naruto nodded.

"Yup! No need to thank me."

Miu raised a brow "Bro; since when you cook?"

Naruto gave her the stink eye "For your information, Haku and Kurenai taught me. For a month. So, I know how to cook 5 stars meals!"

"I hope it is more than scrambled and over easy eggs." Miu commented and Sakura sighed.

"Well, let's go Sensei. I am hungry!"

Naruto grinned "That's the spirit! Let's go!"

*Naruto's and Miu's Apartment*

"I am so glad you three came out of there okay." Haku said as she spoke with the genins, while at the same time made sure Naruto doesn't burn the house.

Miu grinned "Did you expect anything else? We are the best team!"

Haku giggled "Well, Naruto-Sama was worried sick the whole time you were there."

"Hakuuuu! They don't need to know that!"

Sasuke smirked "And how are things between you two?"

Sakura nodded "Had you two made it official yet? Go on a date maybe?"

Haku tilted her head, not understandin the implications "I don't-"

"Haku;" Haku turned to Naruto with carbonized food on the frying pan "I think I did something wrong."

Haku sighed "Naruto-Sama, sit here. I will call you when the food is ready." She said, grabbing the pan, dropping the food on the trashcan and got to work.

"Thank you!" Naruto said as he sat on the table "And you guys don't ask weird questions like that." He scolded them and Sakura giggled.

"C'mon Sensei. We want to know details!"

Miu smirked "Besides, aren't you too rough for her?"

Naruto looked offended "Okay, what's that supposed to mean?"

"You are kind of brutish and sometimes like a brat." Sasuke said smirking as Naruto threw his hands on the air.

"And for one moment I thought you guys liked me."

Haku brought food, some grilled salmon as she sat next to Naruto "We need to buy more eggs to replace the ones you ruined." She smiled kindly at him and Naruto sighed.

"Attacked and humiliated in my own home." He said dramatically as they ate.

In middle of the meal, Miu got a question "Bro?"

"Yeah?"

"You know a lot of secrets, right?"

"I can't tell you all of them, but hit me."

Miu nodded slowly "You know who our parents are?"

Everyone in the table stopped as Naruto hummed "Hm... I do."

Miu nodded "Another important secret I can't know?" She asked disappointed.

Naruto shook his head "Only ANBU agents can know. But... We already broke some important rules, so who cares." He smirked at her "Become chunin and I tell you who is our trash bag of father is."

Miu nodded "Really!?"

Naruto nodded "Really. Also, your teammates need to know the other secret."

Sakura looked confused "Other secret?"

Miu nodded "Do you know what a jinchuriki is?"

*Hours Later*

It was late at night as Naruto walked across the village to meet... his godfather. He walked towards the hot springs and saw him peeping into it.

"Jiraya." Naruto said as Jiraya jumped to his feet and turned to him.

"Hey kid! How are ya!" He extended his arms, waiting for a hug as Naruto gave him a dry look "Not... going to hug your dear godfather?"

"I don't see no one dear to me neither a good godfather." Jiraya flinched but nodded as he looked into his bag.

"I got you a gift! For the birthday I missed last year!" He said taking out a little frog plush and handed it to Naruto.

Naruto eyed it "Great." he tossed it behind him as Jiraya shrieked "I need you to train my sister for the chunin exams."

Jiraya regained his composure "After all that, you ask me a favor like that!? What's the deal with you!?"

Naruto rolled his eyes "Fine." He turned around "I'll go ask Kurenai."

"Wait!" Naruto looked at him over his shoulder "Fine... I'll train Miu."

Naruto nodded "Awesome. Training ground 3. don't be late."

*Training Ground 3, Next Day*

"That geezer is late." Naruto cursed. He called Sasuke and Miu, to leave Miu training with Jiraya and he can take Sasuke to train elsewhere.

"Bro; are you sure he is going to show up?" Miu asked and Naruto sighed annoyed.

"He didn't show for half of my life, so it wouldn't surprise me."

A poof of smoke appeared next to Naruto as a voice spoke "Don't worry, Naruto! Miu! I am here!"

As the smoke dispersed, they could see a gigantic toad with a... weird man on top of it "I am, the one women desire, men envy, known for his heroic deeds and acts of bravery! The author of the best seller, Icha-Icha Paradise series! Sage of the Mt. Myoboku! Jiraya the Galant!"

Sasuke and Miu stared at the weirdo in front of them as Naruto slapped his face "Before you say anything; he is one of the legendary sannins."

"I don't believe you." Sasuke said.

"It is hard to believe at first glance actually..."

"For once I agree."

Jiraya chuckled "Don't worry. I am one of the best shinobis around. And if your brother trusts me-"

"Kind off..."

Jiraya flinched but continued "I think you should too Miu!"

Miu sighed and looked at her brother "Is this guy actually good?"

Naruto nodded "I know he looks like a clown, but he actually trained the Fourth Hokage."

Miu gapped and even Sasuke looked surprised "Then what are we waiting!?

As Jiraya and Miu left, Sasuke turned to Naruto "So, what am I learning?"

Naruto smirked "A way to break Gaara's defense. His sand has a mind of his own, always protecting him. So, I will teach you my Sensei signature technique and..."

"You will learn in a month to use a sword."

"Ahhh... Now we are the sensei trying to be cool... just like the pervert!"

Naruto shook his head "Whatever you say Zangetsu."

*Miu and Jiraya*

"So... what are you teaching me Pervy Sage?" Jiraya glared at Miu.

"First off! Don't refer to me like Pervy Sage!"

Miu smirked "But you write the smut books, right?"

"There are not smut, there are art!"

Miu scoffed "Sure. So, what are you going to teach me?"

Jiraya smirked "Well, do you know the Fourth Hokage secret technique?"

"Nope." Miu answered and Jiraya smirked.

"Well! I am teaching you, the powerful and deadly, Rasengan!"
