"We should go back for him, mommy we can't let the bad guys get him or hurt him like they did us." Ranger said to his, Riley's mom as they'd fouhd escape pods they could escape in from the High Evloutionary but their lil brother was tryihg to catch up with them hearing Recorders hot on their tails making their mom worried, their brother was the runt so it would be okay to ditch him, as the High Evloutionary had somebody to experiment on.
"He'll be okay guys, we gotta go." she told Ranger and Riley pushing her youhgee son aside, as she, Ranger and Riley got into escape-pods just as the Recorders caught up to them, seeing them blasting off hearing crying noticing the kit there taking him to the High Evloutionary impressing him seeing said male-kit cowering in front of him.
"I can use him take him to where the other young subjects are." he told one of them seeing one takihg the male-kit away hearing him crying but after being placed in with the other young subjects, he noticed pairs of eyes peeking out at him.
"Don't be afraid, sire is gonna make you stronger, those other two kits weren't program material." he heard a soothijg voice saying seeing it's owner, an infant otter cub there along with a baby rabbit and a baby walrus feeling more curious than scared now making Lylla hug him.
"Yeah, everything's gonna be okay.";he mumbled.
"Awww, even from the start, you guys were meant to be but yeah we felt sorry for leaving him but we should check on him just in case." Ranger told Lylla as she was telling him and Riley about her and their lil brother's first meeting which was very sweet as Rocket waa taking an nap as he'd been off all morning so Lylla was making him rest just in case seeing drones guessing who'd sent them, as she, Floor and Teefs manned the cannons taking them out impressing Ranger and Riley askijg how they learnt tomdo this.
"Rocket taught us how to use blaster cannons, when we escaped from the lab." Teefs told them impressing both kits and were headijg to Rocket's room giggling noticing he was covered in red spots knowing what it was, raccoon-pox seeing Lylla astounded finding it cute hearing Rocket mumbling feverishly about things but was putting a cold cloth on his furry lil head but going to tell Floor, Peanut and Teefs that he was sick.
"He has raccoon-pox guys, so we should leave him be but not tell him about the drones because it might upset him." Lylla told them seeing Rocket out of bed on all fours delirious which bothered them, seeing Ranger grab him gently which was making him worried as it reminded him of the High Evloutionary
"It's okay bro, it's just us but you shouldn't be out of bed, when sick." he soothingly whispered into his ear which was calming him down but carrying him back to his and Lylla's room tucking him ijto his bunk but would help him out making him juice like how they'd helped Floor seeing more constellations grinning as she could come up with stories that she could tell Rocket later wondering who sent the drones guessing who, not waiting to say.
"Youknowwho sent them." she simply said to them.
"Ohhhh man but why." Teefs asked her.
"Because he thinks Rocket is his golden cub." Lylla told them.
